Jesus told us, His followers, to love one another. In fact, He said it’s how the world would know that we are His! Over the next few messages, we’re going to learn more about what some have called “The 11th Commandment”. The "one anothers" in the Bible: honor one another -give preference to one another -regard one another as more important -submit to one another -be humble towards one another don’t hurt one another -do not be arrogant towards one another -do not provoke one another -be kind to one another -do not lie to one another -do not speak against/slander -do not grumble against one another serve one another -wait for one another -wash the feet of one another -care for one another -bear the burdens of one another -comfort one another -weep with one another -rejoice with one another -offer hospitality to one another -use your gifts for one another accept one another -be patient with one another -forgive one another -do not judge one another -live in peace with one another build up one another -speak to one another in songs -greet one another -admonish one another -encourage one another -instruct one another -motivate one another -pray for one another depend upon one another -partners with one another -be on the same page with one another -live in harmony with one another -be devoted to one another -confess your sins to one another -fellowship with one another I Thessalonians 4: 18 #1. We need a lot of comfort - we face many, difficult challenges in life John 16: 33b - the problems seem to be growing II Timothy 3: 1 - they are too much for us to carry by ourselves Matthew 5: 4 Luke 2: 25 II Thessalonians 2: 16 Isaiah 40: 1-2a #2. God calls us to comfort one another II Corinthians 1: 3-8 II Corinthians 4: 7-10 How can we comfort one another? - Each one take the comfort we’ve been given and share it.
