WHAT YOU THINK MATTERS - 2 - Matthew 22:42 - What Think Ye Of Christ?

A biblical understanding of Jesus is critically important. Directly from the word of God we find out what to think when it comes to Jesus Christ. He said we err not knowing the scriptures, and there’s no better way to get to know Jesus than by searching and reading the scriptures. When religious hypocrites ask questions, God’s word has all the answers. Get your Bible, listen, and be blessed…

So if you're at home saying, Well, there was yesterday, or there was Friday, or there was Thursday, and we didn't quite cut it, or we could, there is always more we can do. So let's take the time and the opportunity right now. Our sister's here on the organ to encourage us. I'm here to remind you what the Bible says. God is uh, and I don't know if it was so much optional when he said sing. It's it God didn't say if you feel like singing or if you want to sing or if it's time, he just said sing, he said dance, he said shout unto him, praise God. So if you're looking for an excuse, just ask the flesh, and the flesh will excuse you right out of heaven. But if you're looking for the the uh the truth, the word of God, which is found, I'm getting my Bible, which is found in the Bible, and what God wants us to do, he says, clap your hands, all ye land, serve the Lord with a dance, praise God, amen. Shout unto him with the voice of triumph, shout unto him with the joy, with the victory that we stand in. Today is a day, just as our sister was singing, every day, praise God. I have the joy of the Lord, which is my strength. It allows me to do what the Bible is is commanding us, is asking us to do, praise God. So I thank God today we can do this because where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Hallelujah. Maybe you got out of a church and there was no liberty, there was no spirit, and y'all just sat there. Thank God tonight. If you're back home, you can shout unto him, even if you're sitting in church and listening with your earbuds, give God a shout, praise God, and say, I'm tuned in to where the spirit of the Lord is, and there is liberty, the freedom which you and I need to have, which we do have in order to serve God the way God wants to be served. The Bible says, Great is the Lord, and he is greatly to be served, to be praised, to be worshipped, praise God. So as we as we get as the as I said, as the organ encourages us, the symbols, the instruments that the Bible speaks of, I thank God that we can put together our hands, we can put together the shout which is in us, because the Bible says, Everything that has breath, praise ye the Lord. Let everything that hath breath, praise ye the Lord. Hallelujah. Let everything that hath breath, praise ye the Lord. Praise God. So before we do anything else, praise God, we're gonna put our hands together. I know this this is like a snow day for most people here in Quebec. I know it's the end of March or near nearing the end of March, and I don't I think it stopped snowing now. So we're I we were at six or seven inches this morning before we started our French meeting about four or four hours ago. Right now, I don't know where we're at, but it's like some so for folks at home. I'm so glad I welcome each and every one of you that are joining with us. There's um our sisters back from Quebec. Some of you were here on the French side and you're staying with us, and I appreciate that. But, anyways, amen. The Bible says, two or three gather together, Jesus said two or three gathered together in my name. He said, There shall I be, in the midst of them, in their midst. The Bible, the Old Testament says that God will inhabit the praises of Israel, which are Israel are his people, and I thank God today, praise God, that we can be of the household of God because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Someone can say thank you, Jesus. Praise God. So, like I said, before we do or say anything else, put your hands together at home. I welcome you, but join with us by clapping unto the Lord. Hallelujah! Save my grace, Praise God, hallelujah, hallelujah! Jesus saves, Praise God, hallelujah! And save my grace, testify it, sing it, hallelujah! Jesus saves I'm so glad, I'm so glad. Put a smile on your face and sort of gladness, hallelujah! Jesus saves, praise God, hallelujah! I'm saved by grace, praise God, hallelujah! Jesus saves, praise God, I'm so glad. Let the world go. Praise God, Jesus my Savior, hallelujah, save my grace, hallelujah, praise God, hallelujah, I'm so glad, I'm so glad, praise God, I'm so glad, I'm so glad, praise God, the joy of the Lord is my strength. Praise God, hallelujah, blessed be the name of the Lord. Some of you are wondering what what we're doing. This might help. I'm gonna read one verse, it's the last verse in Psalm chapter 7. It says, I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness. I know some folks they don't like that that word doesn't get used very much in modern-day churches and such, but thank God for God's righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high. Praise God. So that's what we're doing, amen. I'm gonna use this verse as an introduction to confirm the reason, the purpose which we have in Christ, the purpose which we have in the Lord, amen. And this is what is what we are going to continue and to glorify God, amen. It's another course we sing. I don't know what you've come to do, but I've come to glorify God. I've gone to praise the Lord, amen. I've come to uh glory to praise his name, praise God. That's what we're here for, amen. After after after five days of creation, God's looking around going, I don't know. Some branches, you know, waving in the wind, but you don't see the wind. I don't know if some waves could count as movement, you know, of the sea because of the wind, because of what if whatever if there's the tides or but apart from that, you know, whatever the animals were making some sounds, I guess, in the way they communicate. But what was God receiving until he made Adam, until he made man? Praise God. In his image. So we could say something. When God said, Let there be light, there was light. You and I, we can say something today, praise God. Not just sit back. It's not like you're watching a movie or a TV program. Amen. This is interactive. Praise God. I'm talking to you folks at home. I welcome each and every one of you. But this is interactive. Amen. So if you're sitting on your couch with a bucket of popcorn, watching this right now, just put the bucket, keep keep the popcorn for later. And get up, praise God. Move your limbs, hands can be up. I look up from whence cometh my help. Chin up, you know, voice, make it loud, praise God. God's not nervous, and the Bible says a shout, praise God. Let the devil know that you have the victory. Let him know that you're walking on him. Praise God. It's not someone else's heel that's doing the bruising, but you can. God has given us that authority, amen, to put the devil under his under our feet and there to stay. Praise God. And we can stand up, and if something's not working, some blood's not flowing correctly, stiff under you know, the knee or the back is sore, can't straighten up. It'll all, amen. In in the name of Jesus Christ, it all comes that we are healed, we're delivered. Praise God. That joy, for that this is what will set us free, praise God. This is truth when I'm telling you, and I want this truth to make you free. Praise God. Hallelujah. This is how we come. We come, we enter his courts with praise. Amen. We come through his gates with thanksgiving. Praise God. So we already, amen, our sacrifice is there already to serve God and already to give unto God. Amen. And this is what God expects from his creation, from you and I, who has made us so we can make a joyful sound. Praise God. Remember, Jesus said, Well, the rocks could do it if you don't, so they can be raised up, but God made you and I for a purpose. Praise God. And I want you to take advantage of this opportunity that this moment in time allows you. Thank you so much for joining with us. I'm gonna pray in about 30 seconds. So help me get the word out. Share this link with your friends and family so that they too can be blessed. We're gonna get into the word of God very shortly. This is today, we're gonna look at part two of what you think matters. Amen. It's not just what comes out of your mouth, how the heart is connected to your thoughts and to the tongue. Amen. We're gonna look at that as well. Praise God that we're going to, as I mentioned last week, Jesus was dealing with folks that had the scriptures, you know, they had the scroll in their hands, they had the scroll before their eyes, and they didn't have much to show in their hearts. Amen. We look around us, there's wars, and there's rumors of wars, but there are wars, and there's economical problems and political problems. And but I'm not worried about the the evil that's on the outside, amen. I'm worried about what's inside of me. And today I can say that Jesus Christ, greater is he in me than he that is in this world. Hands up, let's pray. Father in heaven, so thankful to have the good news today. Hallelujah! Praise God, which is the gospel of Christ. Amen. Because the word of God, because our these books are open, that contains uh every word which has proceeded out of your mouth, and we live by man. Right now we ask for our daily bread. Praise God for those of for everyone in front of us. Praise God. This is our second portion of daily bread. We received it in in French, and now I thank God that the English language will be anointed. What comes out between from my mouth, what comes through these lips. Amen. Touch them with the coal that burns with fire so that the words come forth, amen. Purified by your spirit, they come forth in excellence, and they find their way into good ground, Lord. In Jesus' name, praise God. I bless every single person listening in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We're not here wasting our time, but we have chosen what is needful, we have chosen that good part, we have chosen what is necessary for the saving of our souls, and that's the your word. Praise God. To come against all opposition, against this place, Lord, against uh what we uh what the the the what we do, what we have come to do on um, thank God for these for these pages of Facebook and YouTube and on godly.tv, but what we're doing, what we're preaching, what we represent as far as the gospel of Christ is concerned, we're not ashamed of it in this world where people don't they don't know how to handle the gospel of Christ in Him crucified. They don't know how to receive the gospel of Christ in Him crucified. Lord, I thank God that in within the darkness we can be the light, amen, which shines forth not only your glory, but shines forth your truth, shines forth what Jesus Christ uh came to do. Praise God. There's millions of people walking around in their vain religion of lies, saying that he is dead just like anybody else. But Jesus Christ is alive and he lives in me today. And I thank God that we can shout it out, that we can use this technology to make a difference and let the world know that this is not religion, but this is the life which Jesus Christ has come to give each and every one of us to them and to those who receive him. We have the power today to be a son, we have the power today to be a daughter of God, and I thank God for all these blessings, praise God. We can count them one by one, but we'll lose count in our hurry because there's so much, praise God, that we have been blessed by in Jesus' name. Lord, there's folks that need a blessing. The prayer list is long today. Praying for our sister Bork, praying for Chantel, sisters Chantel Martineau, praying for my little brother Zion, praise God. What is in his body will be made right. Praying for Charles, he has an appetite and he's doing well, whether in that hospital room or at home. Thank God for Robin. Some of these people need to come to the truth, praise God, but that their liver, amen, come to um come to uh perform the way it ought to perform. Lord, I pray for this young man by the name of Garrett. May he recognize a source of peace through my sister Kina in Jesus' name. And I thank God, Lord, that we have, I mean, she she has your protection, praise God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. But the but in the flesh won't see anything, but the spirit will recognize where there is truth, where there is spirit, where there is power, where there is authority. And this is a blessing on these names which I am speaking, which I name right now. Touch my dear sister Lorraine, what has come against her body, Lord, as we prayed and agreed a few hours ago. I thank God for her faith to call and to find someone to agree with her. And two or three did agree, and I thank God there's healing in her body right now. Touch my brother Sean, whatever's causing him in the vision to fail and the headaches in his body. I thank God there's a difference that is being made right now because his faith makes him whole. Praise God. Him and his wife, they two that agree, praise God, and ask for it, they shall receive it, praise God, and have it, amen. Come their way. Pray for our pastors in Newfoundland, in Winnipeg, in Kotonu, in Kindia, in Banco, in Frigoj Bay, in Kibia. Praise God. Touch our pastors, may they be anointed. Today today, most of the meetings are over with uh by now, but if they're listening, praise God that they receive this anointing of the word of God. Touch our brothers and sisters, Lord. We pray for peace in the land, the military, which is anxious. The the the 40 days of Ramanan fasting didn't do much uh in these Muslim-oriented countries. The military is still anxious, they're still agitated. So, Lord, we pray peace because peace is in us, because Jesus Christ came to make peace, and I pray peace upon these territories now in Jesus' name. I thank God, Lord, for the vision which uh my brothers, uh Pastor Michelle, Pastor Jeremy have in the next couple of weeks. What we're gonna put together to be a blessing for the orphans, for some folks, for some young children, some folks have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. But in Lord, in Jesus' name, when they come, they hear the children sing, they hear the children of God sing and the man of God preach and bring forth the word of God. We're gonna change lives, not because of what they receive or what they go home with, as far as their flesh, as far as their fleshly need is concerned, but the needs that we have, each and every one of us, in our spirit, by our spirit, well, Lord, because we're not walking after the flesh, but we are walking after your spirit. Praise God. I thank God today that that our need is met by your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, Lord. Each and every one of us, this is what I pray into our lives again. Once again, pray for um Daniel. Was it this afternoon? Was Daniel pray for Daniel, whatever is ailing him. Lord, I thank God, amen, that there's a difference. We prayed a few minutes ago. I thank God today. He knows that the God of his parents, amen, that we need these people need to look for their salvation, the God of their parents, pray of his parents, praise God, making a difference because of their faith and because of their prayer in Jesus' name. I'm gonna pray for my mother-in-law today. She fell and uh not was not in a good position, praise God, come to her the strength, the need that is in her body, renew her mind, make her sharp as can be, praise God, when she was my age. In Jesus' name, Lord, I pray that there be a renewing of her mind in Jesus' name. Touch my brother Jordan where he is at. They don't have the liberty and the freedom which we have, but within the confines of their of their little areas which they may be. Thank God that your spirit can go and touch them and make a difference in Jesus' name. Praise God. Rupert, the same thing, and Lacey, the same thing as well. Praise God and Robert, amen. You can touch them and bless them. Praise God. Thank God for Justin. Touch him, the ministry which he wants to uh evolve and become stronger and more profitable for the kingdom of God. Make a difference in his life as well. Our billboards that are up across this province and throughout uh the city of uh Toronto area, people are seeing the name of Jesus Christ. May they awaken to righteousness and sin not, praise God. Bless my sister who is allowing this gospel, amen, allowing the name of Jesus Christ to be to be on top of the rooftops where folks can look at and see the name of Jesus Christ. And who is that and see the answer, praise God? Jesus is Savior, Jesus is Lord. I thank God, Amen, for the blessing that we have, amen. To be able to use our strength and our resources and to make a difference, praise God, in this kingdom of darkness. Let our lights shine at work, in school, at home, praise God, in Jesus' name. Anoint the word of God as it comes forth. Praise God. I thank God for the word which we heard in the French language. Now we are about to get ready. I mean, prepare our hearts and minds to be ready to receive it in the English language. I'm praying for eyes to be open to see, ears to be open to hear, and our hearts to be open to receive and to perceive. In Jesus' name I pray these things. Amen and amen. Praise God. Blessed be the name of the Lord today. Someone say thank you, Jesus. Amen. For whatever you need. Amen. Thank you, Jesus, for my healing. Thank you, Jesus, for a sound mind and the mind which was also in Christ. Thank you, Jesus. Praise God. Amen. For my brothers and sisters, praise God. Touch our neighbor who was listening a few minutes ago on the French side. In Jesus' name, praise God. Hallelujah, those who received pamphlets yesterday, evangelizing downtown the streets in Montreal. Lord, I pray, praise God, that they recognize and realize what the Bible is, and what the Bible can be for the saving of their soul, praise God. Truth that they shall know and they shall be made free in Jesus' name. Praise God. Keep your hands up, 10-15 seconds. Let God know how joyful you are, how thankful you are at home. Do the same thing in Jesus' name. Praise God. We I pray these things. Amen and amen. Praise God. Hallelujah. Amen. Someone say his name. Praise God. We're gonna get ready to receive the word of God. Amen. Make sure there's a Bible in your hands before you be seated. Amen. If you're already seated and you don't have a Bible, Get up, get your Bibles, get your Bibles, get your Bibles, praise God, praise His holy name, praise God. Someone say His name. Amen. Someone else say his name. Praise God. Blessed be the name of the Lord. But I thank God for the word which we have received on the French side. Praise God. Fed my souls. Amen. I'm ready. Praise God for the word. Brothers were evangelizing, and I saw a little video clip that they posted online, and the pamphlet, which this is the French version, but we have it in the English version. It says, The Bible, what's it for? Because most people don't know what it's for. They think it's just a document or they think it's a religious book or something along those lines. And the video clip showed a lady just shove it away, like the the the uh brother was handing out, you know, here words of eternal life. And uh she just looked at it, and as soon as they see the Bible, as soon as they see that word, it just gets pushed away. And and um, but I thank God for those who have received. Can you bring me down, please? I thank God for those who have received and those who have um uh acknowledged or accepted the word of God and acknowledged it as truth. Praise God. Let me get the Bible in my hand. If you're listening on radio, I got my Bible in my hands now. I'm walking with it back and forth. Praise God. We've got uh a shade bit too much, just a not a barely a half a notch, a little bit higher. Praise God. There we go. Amen. I've got my Bible in my hands, and this is what it makes it makes a difference. Praise God, amen. People try to hide it. Amen. I asked Chat GPT, it says, Where's the Bible? How many I said, where in the Bible is is uh banned in or restricted in how many countries? I think that's how I asked it. And she comes back, North Korea and Iran. And I'm going, are you sure? And I asked Chat, I started to argue with AI, and I said, Is it not is there more restrictions? Oh, well, there's parts of China, oh here we go. Amen. She says, There's certain um uh I not countries but states. China has what? Provinces. It's provinces in China, thank you. There's certain provinces, and she named a couple. The Bible's banned here, it's banned in North Korea, and then there's other areas where the and I said, Oh, I said, well, tell me how many countries it's restricted in. She starts listing the countries. It's like I had to like twist, you know. I I I call her a she because when she talks, it's with a lady's voice, but it's like I had to twist her arm. Tell me how to, you know. Then I asked the same question about the Quran, and says the Quran is is banned or restricted in uh North Korea and um one other province, I think, in China or somewhere. And I'm like, are you sure? Are there any other countries? No, that's the the the Bible seems to be more banned and restricted in countries than rather the Quran, since there's more people that believe in Islam, she's explaining to me why the Bible is under more persecution than the Quran. So that's the country we live in, and be careful for AI that wants to take, you know, wants to take over, praise God. Jesus Christ, if you read uh in chapter 19, so it'll be like the second to last page in your Bible. If you read Jesus Christ's bears, or we are given one of his titles as the word, capital W, as the as the word, so capital W. And um we we have there's there's going to be um, I mean, the the the con the final battle, the final conflict is gonna come down. We're worried, you know, of a thousand-year reign and Armageddon and and Magog and Magog, and we have all these terms. Uh the the there is going to be a conflict, or there already is, but there's going to be a major conflict concerning the Word of God, concerning this Bible. We are living in Canada, which is a free country. I have the freedom to say what I'm saying right now, but that freedom is under persecution because we have a we have leadership under the liberal party that wants to limit a few passages in the Bible, Leviticus 18, Leviticus chapter 20, Romans chapter 1 especially, and take away any kind of protection which I have now. If I was to quote uh from or read from Romans chapter 1, verse 21 through 27. If I was to read in that area, right now I am legally protected. They want to remove that. Once again, what's at stake? Like, what are they fighting over? The word, the Bible. And I mentioned this last week. I mean, we have wars and bombings and economics and potholes and uh food prices that we people can't afford anymore. We have all these issues. Oh, but let's spend some time figuring out if we should rip this page out of the Bible, out of a holy book, out of out of a out of what I esteem above all other authority. So we pray for our leadership that they get their priorities set. Amen. Right. Praise God. And this country was founded by folks that had a belief. Their doctrine may have been maybe a little bit different, but they was founded on people that had principles that were based on every word. And then for my American brothers and sisters listening, it's the same thing in your country as well. Amen. If you back up 200 years earlier, praise God, but we see what is uh, I mean, people ask me, how do you know the Bible is real? Because the devil wants to get rid of it. Amen. They're not trying to ban Sophocles or any other, you know, um uh philosopher that may have written whatever they felt like writing in their day, whatever their thoughts came up with, and then they, you know, they wrote it or they spoke it. And the you know, the debates and the contentions that were taking place in the marketplace by men of God, amen. And and um men of men of God that that refused to back down, praise God, after a night or after or overnight, after spending the night in jail, Peter and John come out and they said, and they're told that you can go, just stop talking about Jesus. Amen. That's in Acts chapter 3, if I'm not mistaken, or chapter 4, either or. But I'm so glad that they did not hearken unto the the uh the counsel of men because there would be no Acts chapter 5, there would be no Acts chapter 6. All of a sudden, the disciples they would have gone back to church and you know had a had a little board meeting around the table, like the deacons do in churches these days, and they fight and argue, and you know, well, we're not spending$50 for pizza for the young people, we can't afford it, and they have all kinds of debates. But, anyways, they would have sat around the table saying, Well, if we talk about Jesus, we go to jail. So let's take a vote. All in favor, all not in favor. They'd be sitting around the table. Thank God, these men of God, they were first of all, they were anointed, second of all, they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and third of all, I mean, they knew not to listen to a a voice of from human nature. Praise God, listen to so that God would have his way. So therefore, we have Acts chapter 5 and 6 and 7 and 8 and 9, and all the way up into the 20s. Praise God. And we still have the Acts because these men of God refused, praise God. And we looked at Peter last week, and he forgot what Jesus had told him. He needed to be reminded by a by a rooster crowing, you know, look at the look at your watch, look at the time it is. Uh-oh. But in the meantime, until he until he had remembered is what the Bible says, and then it came to his mind what the word that Jesus had spoken to him. In the meantime, he found himself in trouble. I'm not like one of them, and you know, what if whatever you know came out of his mouth trying to uh disguise the fact that he was a follower of Jesus Christ around that fire that he was warming himself in. So he denied Christ once, he denied Christ twice, he denied Christ a third time. The rooster crowed, and he said, and the Bible says, Oh, now I remember what Jesus said. Hallelujah. And this is what this program is for. Some people they don't agree, they don't say, uh, you shouldn't, you know, you know, don't have a stage, or you shouldn't say what you say, or you shouldn't do what you do as far as these meetings are concerned, or whatever. No, this is a reminder. This afternoon, when on the French side, before I came out, or as I sat off to the side this afternoon, amen. Every single verse that was quoted, this is three years plus that we're quoting scripture, and we all began quoting a quoting a scripture, and now we're three years in, and we're quoting two, three scriptures from different in a in a in a row, or we're quoting from different chapters, we're quoting some scripture in English, we're quoting a scripture in French. We're getting better at this. Amen. And the better we get at handy, this is how we arm ourselves. This is how we we are weaponized, and I hope they don't take this down because I'm using these words. I'm not talking about Iraq or Iran. I'm talking about the what amen, the warfare, the combat that we have in the spirit. And as we weaponize ourselves with the word of God and able with with uh with with with fluidity, and fluently and and naturally say, hey, it is written, praise God. Whoever, you know, whoever comes to uh along and and to say whatever they they need to say. And and uh two days ago when we were in, I was downtown Toronto, and I took a picture of uh our billboard, which was up uh up over the um uh on top of a building, and um our our sister located it. She goes, she goes, I love it on top of that building because right under it is a cannabis store. They sell cannabis. She goes, That's of the devil. And she said, so I put the sign up on the roof. Well, what she doesn't know, because I haven't spoken to her yet, she doesn't know is right beside the cannabis store, there's a orthodox Jewish some kind of activities that they have. And here I'm taking pictures of Jesus Christ and these two Orthodox, they were young men, they came to me and they said, Is your mother Jewish? And I looked at them and said, No, my mother's not Jewish, but my father is. And they looked at me, your father's Jewish, but your mother isn't? I said, Yeah. And I said, My older brother, he's Jewish as well, Hebrew of Hebrews. I said, Do you know what that what and what my older brother did? Whatever he did, because I wasn't, I didn't want to say the name and scare them off, but I said, Whatever he did, he allowed me to be circumcised of my heart. Not just circumcision of the flesh, but circumcised of the heart. So I said, I'm not gonna hold up my hand because my mother's Jewish and you're gonna wrap around, you know, a scarf around my hand. I said, I respect your your traditions that you have from the Old Testament, but right now I'm living under a new covenant by the blood which was shed on the cross, his name is Jesus Christ. And by that time, I'm chasing them down the street. Amen. Until they got to the door and they said, We we've heard enough, we went in. And I spoke until the door closed so that they can hear as much as possible. Amen. One person seemed to be intrigued, the other person seemed to be troubled by what I was saying and tried to cut me off. But I thank God that I was able to identify with Jesus Christ. I said, if you don't believe me, just look up. Look, look up. I pointed to the billboard, it says Jesus Savior. That's who my my elder brother is, and I thank God he would be if we and we're gonna look at this this afternoon. Um genealogically speaking, we can trace him back to David, but we need to go back a little further because the Bible says in the beginning. Amen. So I thank God today that the the the allowing giving us or allowing us a spiritual mind, it keeps us in the word of God because every word is spirit. I'm holding the Bible in my hand again. Every word is spirit, and every word is life, praise God, that we have. And I thank God this is not based on the traditions of religion or the traditions of man or a woman. This is based uh on what Jesus Christ was able to accomplish when they nailed him to the cross. Praise God. Amen. Hallelujah. Then that's where some religions stop, especially Islam, the religion. They're they they they believe that, oh yeah, Jesus, yeah, we know his historically as a figure, as a as a person on this earth. Yes, they agree with that. And and and they go as far as to, and they're yep, he's dead, let's bury him. Amen. In the flesh. I'm talking about folks in the flesh. Took him down off the cross and buried him, and they allowed Jesus to, and not knowingly, they said, had they known, they wouldn't have done it. This is what Paul, this is the conclusion that Paul came up with. But they laid him in the grave uh in the in the in this in this tomb that they that they that they found for him, that somebody donated, generously donated uh the uh the space for him. But while he was laying there in the flesh, in the spirit, he went down into the depths of this earth, the Bible says. And when he walked out, when he we when he when he walked out from the tomb alive and well, he held the keys in his hands. Amen. He came out with the keys of death and hell. And I thank God he's not the he's the only one who went into the depth, but he's not the only one that came out. He set at liberty the captives who needed to be free. Praise God, amen. And the devil was robbed on his own property within his own house. Jesus went in amongst his own devils and demons, and and and I thank God that Satan was able to be defeated upon at that during that time period who they thought he was where they thought people said, Well, he's dead. It's we're all said and done. And we're gonna look at people. These groups that came, when you read the chapter, which I'm gonna give you in a couple of minutes, when you read that entire chapter this this week, you'll see that these groups religiously they they there was conflict, they didn't agree. On the Sabbath day, they were split. Amen. The Sadducees would believe one thing, the Pharisees believed the other thing, the Herodians believe something else, they were split on the Sabbath day, when they were that their religious day. And but when they when they were going to um uh oppose Jesus Christ, or when they went to oppose Jesus Christ, well now they all agreed. Now they all came together, shoulder to shoulder and holding hands, amen, because they had one thing in common that they were against, and that was Jesus Christ. Amen. It's just like today, praise God, where we the the the where when you stand on Jesus Christ and Him crucified, you have all these different religions and such, they all disagree on baptism on Sabbath day, on whatever, uh whatever other contentions that they'll come up with. But when it comes to Jesus Christ, there is you you can see the the general uh gathering or the general mindset of people, they can't they cannot confirm who Jesus Christ is. And this is the same unclean spirits that Jesus fought against in his day. Praise God. Last week we read where the word of God was in their hands, the word of God was before their eyes, they could see it, but Jesus was looking at them and say, What's in your heart? It's not the word of God. What's in your heart is of no, it's it's it doesn't count. Amen. And we have these same doctrines that are that are pervasive in modern religion, modern secularized religion, religious institutions today. Praise God, because they say it doesn't matter what you do, doesn't matter what you say, none of that counts. Well, I'd like to read I mean I mean to use the scripture to back me up, find Ephesians chapter 2, and I'm gonna read three verses, verses eight and nine, which so many people know, they can quote by heart and such, but then it seems as if Ephesians chapter 2 ends after verse 9. But we're gonna read verse 10. So as we read, I want you to see, and I want you to read about the before and the after. So it says in verse 8, for by grace are you saved through faith. Amen. I want everyone to say I'm saved by grace. Praise God. This way, nobody will you won't be able to take what I'm about to say out of context. You won't be able to twist it around. Amen. Because I just said, I am saved by grace through faith. And as I keep to read, amen, and that not of myself, amen. I didn't do it, I wasn't even around when salvation came. Someone say thank you, Jesus. Praise God. It is the gift of God. Thank God for his gift. Someone say, Thank God for the gift. Thank God for the gift which you have given me. For the wages of your sin is death, but the gift of God, amen, is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That's verse 23 in Romans chapter 6. Amen. So let's read verse 9. We're not changed yet. Not of works lest any man should boast. So for by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man shall boast. Okay, so now we've come to repentance, because there's going to be a line that is going to be drawn, and I'll draw it for you if you can't see it spiritually. We've come to repentance. We've asked God to say, I'm tired, I'm sick and tired of being a sinner, I'm tired of disobedience. However, you've come to God in repentance. I'm not saying a sinner's prayer with a hand half risen in the back pew of a church somewhere. That doesn't count. Amen. The Bible doesn't say anything about this, the Bible doesn't say about anything about receiving him. I receive him in my heart. Well, good luck with that. Because that's not scriptural, that's not biblical. If you've gone through that prayer and if you think that's all there is, that's why it seems that salvation just stops at the prayer. Churches may be filled, they may have their seats filled, it doesn't make no difference. Amen. The God is going, you are going to be identified when you stand before God. God is going to want to see the blood of his son Jesus Christ, precious blood which was shed on Calvary. This is what, this is how you are going to be identified. Not because you put your hand up, not because you bowed your head, not because you signed a contract, not because you joined a church, because you said my sins need to be cleansed, and the only cleansing for my sin is by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed on Calvary. And I thank God for the cleansing of my sins right now, today. Praise God that my name is also written in the Lamb's Book of Life, and I have ears that are listening for the sound of the last trumpet. Praise God. Now we're talking about repentance. Repent for the kingdom of heart, God is at hand. Amen. This is scriptural. Now read verse 10. For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. What? Amen. See, after salvation, your works do matter. Amen. You're your your oh, maybe that's a good title for the next sermon. Amen. Your thoughts matter. What you what you say matter. Amen. Maybe your works. Amen. I gotta make a note. Can you text me that so I don't forget? I'll hear the sermon during the week, so I'll get it. But anyways, you keep listening. Amen. I listen to the preaching every week, make sure the preacher's preaching right. So I listen to the preaching, but maybe that's a good one. Your works matter. Amen. Right here, this is what it says. For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, after salvation. You can't, I a sinner just wants to sin. That's why when you see people define, oh, we're all sinners, that's because you want to sin. Amen. That's all a sinner, the sinful nature of a man and of a woman, that's they just want to stay in their sin, they want to keep their sin, they want to stay in darkness because their works are dark. Evil is what the Bible says. When you want to get out of, when you want to get out of your sin, well, in to if any man be in Christ Jesus, that's 2 Corinthians chapter 5, the 17th verse. Now we're reading here in verse 10. Um, in Christ Jesus, we're reading the same terminology to the church in Ephesus, to the church in Corinth, but it's the same doctrine. For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus. In Christ Jesus, I'm a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Praise God. Let's keep reading Ephesians chapter 2 in the 10th verse. Amen. In Christ Jesus, we are what? Unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Amen. The steps of a good man, they're ordered of the Lord. But in the meantime, I'm walking in good works. Allow God to do a work in you. Amen. If God is working in you, shaping you and molding you and talking to you and dealing with you, praise God, convicting you through his spirit, through the preaching of the word of God. Amen. You are that creation in him, you are that creation in Christ Jesus. Praise God. Amen. I mentioned this last week. We're seeking, we are see we are seeking differently than the world. Amen. Than the nations. In the King James, it says nations. I'm going to lean a little towards the Louis Segov teaching work. They call them pagans. It said the pagans, this is what they look for. Amen. But I thank God, I mean, what the pagans are looking for, I look for the opposite. Amen. I'm not looking, I'm not wondering who scored last night, who got the most goals, who kept the most goals out, or who sang here, or whatever entertainment that's going to be showing up this week, or whatever. Amen. My my search is different. My meditation is upon different things. My my my the my the the approach, the way I react to what I hear, it's on so it's on different things, the things which pertain to eternity. Someone say eternity, praise God, because this is what's this is what's at stake. It's your soul. Praise God. My flesh doesn't give a hoot. If you have I can say that, if you understand what I'm saying, it doesn't care. Praise God. Amen. That's the flesh that we have been given. It's all gonna end up to dust. Amen. And I thank God that Jesus Christ, the Bible says, through Jesus Christ and his resurrection, that can be, amen, this corruption will put on incorruption. And there's going to be a difference made because of who Jesus Christ is in you. Someone say, in me. Amen. So I thank God that we can have, we can make this difference and we can be this difference because we are we are not, we are seeking the things when Jesus said, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Praise God. We can't forget the middle part of that verse. And all these things shall be added unto you. My priorities are different than the priorities of this world. Praise God. So we're gonna get into the teaching of Jesus. I wanna lay a simple foundation today coming out of Proverbs chapter 12. I trust the Bible is in your hands. Praise God. And you are the Bible is open to Proverbs chapter 12. We're going to get ready to read one verse. And before we move into the New Testament, praise God. So get your Bibles, get your Bibles, get your Bibles. I'm going to read. Amen. And we're going to see heart shows up. Heart, heart has been a very important word in the past six weeks. And Solomon, in all of his wisdom, he gives us this intelligence. He says in verse 20, Proverbs chapter 12, verse 20, deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil. I'm going to read this again before I read the second part of the verse. Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil. The imaginations, we're talking about what you think matters, what you think is important. And what you have, what you meditate on, it's important. And as we read this, but to the counselors of peace, there is joy. Amen. Someone say, I want joy or I need joy or I love to be joyful. Amen. The deceit, we're going to look at these hypocrites that came tempting Jesus. They came with deception when we get into the New Testament in about two minutes. But here with Solomon is telling us again by his wisdom, he says, deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil, but the counselors of peace is joy. Those looking for peace, the counselors, those who have advice is to say, uh, this is how you're going to overcome, or this is where your joy is, or this is where your happiness can be found, or this is where your peace is developed, or your peace, the the uh the the origins of the peace which we have, which is Christ Jesus. We know the answer to all this, praise God. But there's a difference. It sets like a second uh or two different moods or two different trains of thought, if you would. And it looks like the heart is connected again to the tongue and to the imagination. It makes a difference what's in us. If you don't have a heart of flesh, allowing God, amen, to write, praise God, upon the fleshy tables of your heart and write whatever, you know, the ordinance or the commandments that we need. Praise God. I thank God I'm not carrying, you know, the engraved stones of the commandments or the ordinances of God upon my back, uh, or even like a visual representation of such a thing. No, praise God. Amen. This becomes personal, this becomes God in me, this becomes Jesus in me. This becomes the three Jesus said, I come, my father comes with me, the three of us become one. Praise God. Because we have the same spirit, because we have the same heart, amen. Because we are able, praise God, to think the same, to communicate the same, to pray the same, to have this, to carry the same burden, if you would, to be the same witness, amen, to have the same light within this world of darkness. This is who Jesus is, this is who this is what he came to establish. Then you have these naysayers. So be careful, deceit is in the heart of then that imagine. If you have deception, opposition, um, contention in your heart, uh, what else? Uh, fruits of the flesh, gifts of the flesh, emulations, uh as well, jealousies. Well, I mean, we can the list goes on and on. If this is what is in your heart, well, Jesus is about to do some clean cleaning up. Amen. Find in the book of Matthew, the 22nd chapter, in the New Testament. Now, it'd be nice if you read Matthew 22 this week, the entire chapter up. I'm only reading, we're gonna pick up the story where we're told these are hypocrites that have come to tempt Jesus, and they're tempting him under um the three specific specific details or doctrines, if you would, as far as should we give tribute to Caesar? And uh again about the resurrection in the in the end times and how we live in the afterlife, if you want to, if you permit me to use that term very loosely, and also the great commandment. So when we pick up, I mean, these, like I said, these folks uh on on the on the on their Sabbath day, they would be all in, they'd be in different synagogues or different groups or different gatherings because they didn't believe. Well, there is no resurrection, so they tried to tempt Jesus on resurrection. And there is no, we we owe man nothing, so we don't pay our taxes, and what should we? This was tribute to Caesar. So these these groups where they would differentiate in their doctrine, but they but commonly they came together and tried to deceive up Jesus Christ. They were uh called out by being identified or by being exposed as hypocrites, and they came to Jesus, but thank God for Jesus. Amen. Thank God that Jesus can he can stand on his own. I mean, he is the word. Amen. And Jesus in verse 29, Matthew 22, Jesus answers them, and we're somewhere in the middle of this account of this passage, and uh Matthew 22 is a long chapter, so make it required reading tonight. And and um read right now, read verse 29. If you're reading any other verse besides verse 29, stop reading. Amen. Let's read together. Praise God. So verse 29, Jesus answers and said unto them, I mean, he's part way the the debate is not over, the discussion's not over, but Jesus says, wait a second. You know why you folks are wrong? You know why you do err? You do err? Amen. Not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Amen. So when I sit when I insist every Sunday, get your Bibles, read, follow, uh, memorize some scriptures, quote the ones that you know, amen, until you know them by heart in your sleep. These are the scriptures that, I mean, this is Jesus. He says, you do you ye do err and not knowing, and he's he's letting them know where their mistake is, and he's also letting them know how they can make up for their mistake. Amen. See if we all, if we're if there's something that we need to correct, if something that we need to sanctify, if you're not reading the Bible, you know, if you're not spending enough time in the Bible, then sanctify. Amen. Less time watching the boob tube and more time in the Bible. That's called sanctification. Amen. Or maybe I watch too much TV too. Well, power to turn it off in Jesus' name. And maybe I spend too much time with the Game Boy or with the whatever you call the P state the PlayStation or whatever. Anyways, too much time with that. While you're doing this, there's no Bible in your hand. You got the remote or the controller, I guess is what it's called. You got the controller in your hands instead of the Bible in your hands. Amen. Make a covenant with God. This is what I tell people. If you can't get off it, then sit there and say, God, it's two for one. Every hour I play, I'll give you two hours. After all, what did God give us? Eternal life. Amen. And don't be too hooked on your PlayStations and on your controllers and that, because when you get to heaven, no TV. Oh. Did I hear? Did I barely hear an amen? All I said was no TV, and then all of a sudden everything is just like just like stopped. Hello? Is this working? Amen. Thank you, my brother. Amen. I'll get into in a few minutes. We're gonna read this because Jesus here in the next couple of verses, he starts mentioning not some of your mind, which we're talking about, our thoughts. He's not mentioning just some of your strength, just some of you. Amen. It's gonna be all of us. So let's not make this mistake. Because Jesus Christ, look at what he's saying. He says, You do your make your mistake is you don't know the scriptures, nor the power of God. And those two, those two go together. Amen. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. That's the scriptures. Amen. The gospel, praise God, the Bible which I'm holding in my hands, that's the scriptures. Romans 1:16. I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God. See how they work together? They come together. Amen. Unto those who believe. Amen. Their power of God unto salvation, unto those who believe. The Jew first and then the Gentile. Amen. Praise God. So Jesus said, You make a mistake because you don't know the scriptures and you don't you can't you don't know the power of God. Amen. Power of God was standing right in front of them. They needed to identify Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, that's power. Not only in his name, but when he was walking in the flesh, this was power, this was miracle power, this was deliverance power, this was casting out devil's power, this was resurrection power. That's power over the grave. That's power over hell. You can fight, as far as devils are concerned, you can fight over Moses all you want. Amen. When you come, when it comes to Jesus Christ, that's power because you didn't you didn't get one second with him in the grave. You didn't get one second with him after death, so-called. Praise God. He went, defeated you, rendered you, rendered that that that captivity powerless. This is who Jesus is, and this is who this is what the world needs today. This is how they need to identify Jesus. That's why my subtitle is What Think Ye of Christ? Now that's a King James version. I took it word for word for what we're about to read. But in 2026, I guess you say, What do you think of Jesus Christ? That's how it would be in a modern vernacular, that's how it would sound like. What do you think of Jesus? Ah, he was a good man. Keep going. Amen. My Muslim friends, they can go, he was a good man, he was a good prophet. We believe he did miracles. Some of them even say, Well, he's probably born of a virgin, but you know, we're not that's debatable, we're not too sure on that one. But when it comes to he, yeah, he he died and he's dead. No, amen. Muhammad's dead. Amen. Dig up his grave and you'll get nothing. Dirt and dust dust. That's all that's that's all that's left. Jesus Christ in the meantime, he is whole. H W H O L E. He's not in the hole, H O L E. He's not in a hole, H-O-L-E. He is sitting whole at the W-H-O-L-E, at the right hand of his father in heaven. This is who Jesus Christ is. Amen. And he's in his place until he stands and comes back and receives his saints and comes back and his feet touch this earth. Two different occasions I'm speaking of, but until right now, he's sitting at the right hand of his father, interceding for you and I. Can someone say thank you, Jesus? Praise God for making a difference in my life. Hallelujah. For when I stand before God, amen. The only way Jesus said, the only way to the Father is by me, through me, and his name is Jesus. Muhammad, not gonna help. Praying Mary to your to your dead is not gonna help. Amen. She's also in a hole. Amen. Sorry, say, are you mad at Islam? No, I'm mad at any kind of religion that deceives people. Amen. You have people thinking that like we can pray Mary, we can pray Joseph. You can say their names all you want, but that's not the name that's gonna get you to God. That's not the name which is above any other name. His name is Jesus Christ. It's not Mary, it's not Joseph, it's not Peter Saint, or whatever you want to call him, or Paul, or Veronica, or whatever other name you want. It's not any Pope. Amen. It is Jesus Christ and Him crucified that needs to be preached. This is what the people need to receive Jesus Christ in their life, not a bearded man on a cross on a crucifixion somewhere, but Jesus Christ, uh, amen, seated at the right hand of the Father. Amen. Stephen got a glimpse. When you read in the book of Acts, amen. Moments before he died, becoming the first martyr in post-resurrection uh time or in history, amen. Stephen got a glimpse, praise God, of what the of what the the Godhead with what the divinity of God the Father and Jesus Christ, amen, look like. And I thank God today, praise God, this is whom we serve. Amen. Well, I'm not trying to resurrect or to raise somebody up from the dead, amen. That was taken care of 2,000 years ago when Jesus came out of the grave, as I said, victorious. Amen, having defeated Lucifer. I'm not trying to make up some religion. I'm not Muhammad who would like who used to ride a camel, illiterate as he was, just picking up fairy tales along the way, and not he couldn't even write it in a book. Somebody else wrote it, and we have all these people today that are causing problems within this world because of some man's vision. This is not copper plates from Joseph Eddie, Mary Baker Smith, neither. That somebody said an angel appeared to me in the in the forest. I'm sure an angel did, but it wasn't an angel sent from God, it was an angel from hell to let people know to curse people with another religion, with another man-made saying, with another man-made concept, and people are going to hell because they're neglecting Jesus Christ and following a man, somebody with copper plates. Look at what Jesus said. Amen. Now they changed the subject. Verse 29, we read, This is why you're wrong, and they kept going. Verse 36. Matthew chapter 22, verse 36. Master, which is the great commandment of the law? Amen. Remember, they're hypocrites. Verse 37, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart. Where is there's heart again? Heart just showed up. There it is. It's important. Now, the little word before in all thy heart, someone say all. With all thy soul, someone else can say all. And with all thy mind, amen. What you think matters. Hallelujah. What's in your mind matters. Amen. And here Jesus is saying, all someone, someone else say all. Amen. All your mind. There's no room for doubt. There's no room for unbelief. A couple extra amens would be nice. Amen. There's no room for conflict, for vain philosophies to show up and maybe get you know contentiously involved and can't serve God properly. Amen. Folks that used to they used to there's folks that used to hold this microphone, this same mic I have, and walk back and forth and pray. Gone. Because of the flesh. Amen. Folks serving God, offerings, gone, no longer sent to the house of God. Offerings, tithes, gone. Because of some debates. Like I said, this week, read Matthew 22 and read it over and over again. Amen. Decide who you want to side with. Amen. Praise God. I'm on my way to heaven. Amen. I pray for these people that I have that it positions me like Lot. Thank God my wife is still beside me after 40 and a half years. When we get in these debates, I look at her and I ask her, Say, how is it you're still, you know, sticking with me? Amen. I know I'm not the easiest, I'm probably one of the hardest guys to live with. Amen. But here she is. I think I just heard an Amen. Here she is. Amen. 40 years later, my wife is still by my side. Thank God my name is Link. It's not Lot. Amen. Lot went running to save his life. And halfway then halfway to where the angel was taken, then he lost his wife. Thank God my wife is still with me. Fellow laborer in the truth. Fellow laborer of love. Amen. In the gospel. Praise God. Thank God my sister, praise God, are with me. My brother's with me. Amen. Blessing online, the names I went through on the board. You're still with me. Week after week, praise God. The vision, when we come up with a vision of how to sow. And this week speaking, just as a side note, this week speaking with Pastor Michelle and Pastor Jeremy, the um the in two weeks, the beginning of March, which I think there's the the we have the schools, these kids still get time off for Easter, for the Easter break. They still have time off coming in March or that Easter weekend, that long weekend, April. Oh, sorry, this is March. April, thanks for correcting me. In April, and um I I mentioned the brothers we should put something nice. And they both said, well, there's a long weekend that the orphanages are gonna be doing whatever. So we're putting we're putting together something um a little bigger than usual with Pastor Jeremy. So if you there's still time to get in on it to be a blessing to these children, amen. They're gonna have um um different uh singing. They're gonna get Pastor Michelle says, I'm gonna get the young children to uh, we're gonna make a choir with the young children that are saved, and they're gonna sing before the young children. They're gonna sing before their comrades, their their colleagues, and their friends of the same age, and um, and we're gonna bring them into the church to do that. So you so if you want to be, you want to partake of that, we still have time, amen, to um put together your offerings and the finances, and they've got like 10 days or two or almost a couple weeks to um to plan this and to organize this. So this is gonna take place. I think that's the first weekend in April, if I'm not forsaken, uh not for um uh um for forced uh for uh mistaken. Sorry though, mistaken. My mind is still on what I got to get out for the word of God. So I just want to throw that announcement in, praise God, and uh we can we can continue to move on. So pray and believe for that weekend and do what you uh know to do to bless. And I know some of you have some offerings came in this week saying this is for Africa, this is for the orphans and such. So we already, amen, have a um a certain amount, praise God, to be to bless them with, but we are ex in Christ, we are expecting more. Amen. So going back to Matthew chapter 22, verse 36, master which is the great commandment of the uh in the law, and Jesus said unto them, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. So they they still they're they're not receiving. I mean, so often folks show up, they're not looking for the answer, they want to give you their answer, you know, they want to give you their thoughts, and so they do. I thank God, amen, that I've already read what God has said. Praise God. And I don't live by one verse. Amen. I don't know how often, uh, and and um I understand it's the work of the devil, but so often I get an email, and thank God I got a couple of good emails this week saying, Oh, we love the billboards, you know. We're praying he put more of them up, amen. We'll put more of them up, praise God. Takes finances, takes organization, but we'll put more up in Jesus' name. But they're blessed, so thank God we're blessing folks. Amen. Somebody came, knocked on the door of the church, asked for a Bible. Praise God. That's how we know it's doing a good work, not just making people happy. Amen. We got to make people like the reporter that asked me, he said, You trying to fill your seats, trying to get members? I said, Nope, we don't have members to begin with. What I'm trying to do is fill up heaven in Jesus' name, praise God. Hallelujah. I don't care. I don't care if we meet down here on this earth. I mean, I it's a blessing to fellowship, don't get me wrong, but I don't care if I don't meet if I don't meet somebody or or just in passing, here's a Bible, I don't see them and meet them again. But if I spend all of eternity together in the presence of God, amen, work well done, amen. Profitable for the kingdom of God. And you know, because you've given Bibles, amen. You've given Bibles, you've spent time, you've given Bibles, you know the work that is required to sow into the lives of people. So we're talking here, Jesus Christ. Now, uh a few, I'm gonna skip a couple of verses for the sake of time, but remember, required reading this week is Matthew chapter 22. Praise God, amen. Somebody say I'm gonna read Matthew 22, amen, tonight before I go to bed, praise God, or tomorrow morning, amen. A little further, we read, oh, let me finish verse 38. This is the first and great commandment. Someone say great, amen. All the heart, all the soul, all the mind. Amen. Thank you for three amens. Praise God. And I mean three amens after three, amen. I'm trusting for more than three amens, but I got all thy heart, there's the first amen. All thy soul, the second amen, and all thy mind, amen, the third amen. Praise God. Thank God for three sets, three groups of amens. Amen. Verse 42. Um, here's my subtitle. And so I didn't make it up, I didn't ask the question. I'm I'm kind of like re-asking it, but Jesus receives the credit. Amen. Someone say thank you, Jesus. Saying, um, and before I say it, we're we're getting down to the I'm trying to look for a good word, but the only thing coming to mind is like the nitty-gritty. We're getting down to the the important stuff, the core. Thank you, my brother. Amen. That's a pretty good word coming from a French brother. Amen. The core. Praise God. I'm getting down to this is my my text, my subtitle. And as my brother said, this is we're getting down to the core of things where Jesus says, What do you think of Christ? Read it in the King James. He says, What Think ye of Christ. Now, because my title that I'm running under is What You Think Matters. I mean, I underline the word think, I have it highlighted in my digital text, lit it up green in between the red letters of Jesus, because what you think matters. And Jesus says, What think ye of Christ? Whose son is he? And they say unto him, the son of David. Now, in the flesh, genealogically speaking, or if you trace back, you know, the family tree, the the answer as far as the son of David, which is Old Testament as well, it's it's true. It's it's a good answer in the flesh, carnally speaking. But Jesus, like he what I'm about to read is where Jesus says, okay, son of David, now can now consider this. So Jesus continues in verse 43, he says unto them, You need to consider how then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand till I make thine enemies thy footstool. If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? This puts another this is the second question that Jesus is asking them. So the I mean Jesus has come to introduce I'm gonna change that. Well, to introduce it's a good word, but he became, he is the New Testament. So not only did he he introduced himself as the New Testament, and Jesus Christ is come. Here we are in the in the book of Matthew, he's he's come, uh as I said, to usher in the new covenant with God, the New Testament in his blood. So Jesus is saying, well, you've gone back to David, so here's Jesus, here's the in his day, Jesus. Jesus said, You've you've gone back to David, or I guess if you're watching this way, here's you've taken me, you've you've traced me back to David, but you need to consider something. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. And a few verses later, the word became flesh. Amen. The word was God, the word became flesh. Now the word, now God is able to manifest Himself in the flesh, is what the Bible teaches us. And so Jesus is saying, David, it's all right. And if you go further back, you can take me back to Jesse, you can take me back to uh I forget his name in uh anyways, you can take me back and trace back and further and further. But once you get to Adam, you're kind of stuck. But then before, amen, in the beginning, I mean, Jesus said, you need to consider. It's not just what you think um the where where time would stop in his day. If this was whatever year this was, 30 AD or 29 AD or whenever this was, 28 AD, whatever year, it would it would have all it would have all come to a to a uh a demonic halt, if you would. That's as far as the devil would want to take the Son of God. Amen. When Jesus asked his disciples, thank God for Peter, he says, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Amen. Jesus said, Amen. Hey, Peter, he said, flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but thank God today, praise God, this revelation which you have received, amen. Peter Cephas, upon this rock, amen, shall I build my church? And it's not a Catholic church that was built, it's a church of Jesus Christ. And Jesus said that after building this church upon this rock, he said, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Can someone say thank you, Jesus? Praise God for a church, uh, amen, with the gates of hell, whatever. Like I said, I mean, you have every foul demonic spirit uh from the depth of hell that has been unleashed uh in every single way to to decaracterize Jesus Christ, to uh to decrease uh the value which uh we need to place uh in the scriptures, into in the word of God, which we have received, which has been given us through the Spirit. Thank God for that Holy Ghost which leads us and guides us into all truth. Amen. Today, praise God that we can have uh, amen, our steps, we can have the reading of the word of God to be anointed because of the Spirit of God that is in us. We can have the word of God, we can keep looking at the Bible, we're not looking at our watches, we're not looking at the snow that's following, amen. We're looking at one thing that is important that you and I need today, and that is what thus saith the Lord. Hallelujah! Amen. Are you glad for that? Amen. This is what Jesus said. He said, You make a mistake not knowing the scriptures. Okay, I don't want to make the same mistake. Who's he talking to? Well, better known as hypocrites. So if I make that same mistake in verse 29, I don't know the scriptures, or I'm fumbling or bumbling on something that is scriptural, something that is doctrinal, oh that'll be then I'm the hypocrite. This is what this is what Jesus is dealing with.

Amen.

Verse 46, when you read, he questions it's like you're asking me questions, and Jesus said, I'm gonna ask you a question. What think ye of Christ? The Messiah? Like my two Jewish friends that I met two two days ago, I had to you know make it clear to them the Messiah has come. You all be still waiting while you're waiting for somebody that's already come and gone. Your your belief structure needs to be restructured, it needs to be changed. Praise God. Hallelujah. Had I had more time, praise God. I asked him, I said, Are you a Levite? And one fellow says, No. And I said, You're a Levite, and he goes, Yes. I looked at the other, I guess, you're a Benjamite, and he looks at me, he goes, Yeah, I am a Benjamite. Point, I don't know why. The spirit looked at him and says, You're a Levite, and he goes, Yes. I said, You, he goes, No, you said you're a Benjamite, he goes, Yes. And that's that this this knowing so close. They have the traditions, they have the knowledge, the hypocritical knowledge, if you want to call it. That's what the Bible is calling it. They have this knowledge. We don't mind David, we don't mind Abraham, we don't mind amen, Isaac, we don't mind Esau, we don't mind they they know they Jacob, we don't mind, they can use these names. Amen. Muhammad will use the name of um Ishmael and Hagar, amen. Different origins, different countries, different nationalities. Amen. Moses, they don't mind Moses, amen. They they don't mind from from the Old Testament. Praise God. Amen. For for for for being close but still not being not being saved. Praise God. You've heard me say, I'm I'm trying to because I'm gonna I've been hesitant to say this, but I'm I may as well just say it. Because I say it when it comes to Islam, I say in freedoms. When they call upon, they they name their in their language, they say Allah. And uh so so that I understand that word means God, but according to Islam, their Allah, the Islamic Allah, has no has no child, has no son. And for my Jewish friends, like I pointed out, I said God, I said the God of Abraham has a son, and his name is Jesus. And they didn't like that. The Jewish God, you look at the state of Israel and the state that they're in, you can pray for Jerusalem that the city will have peace. And the only peace that that city is gonna have when Jesus comes back. That's the peace. But in the meantime, they don't believe in Jesus. So I don't know. When they sit there, and I know they sit there and say, We serve that just like my Islamic, you know, my Muslim friends, oh, it's the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Okay. But the true God has a son, Jesus Christ. And my Jewish friends, it's the same thing. I've called, amen, the state of Israel is antichrist. Amen. You can go online and look at street preachers preaching Jesus Christ in Israel, and you can see rabbis spit at them. Online, you gotta look sometimes, not AI, it's the real thing. So you sit there and say, Well, I'm gonna back up that rabbi's genealogy, because rabbis stick to family, the Levites, they stick to their family. I'm gonna back them up to the times of Jesus, they spit on him. So we can't be the the uh, this is not replacement theology, this is not dispensationalism either. This is the word of God. You Jesus Christ said, You believe in God, believe also in me. Who's he talking to? Talked a few minutes ago about arguing with Chat GPT. Sometimes we get into some good arguments. So I asked her, I said, How do you define dispensationalism or discipline dispensationalist theology? So she gave me the definition. I said, Yeah, okay, that's pretty well what I thought. Then I said, How do you define replacement theology? And then now she starts as if she's gonna teach me. So then, and this is this is Israel, this is and she goes through the breakdowns. You want me to break it down? I said, Yeah, go ahead and break it down. So then I replied, but when you take, when you bring Jesus Christ into consideration, dispensationalism and replacement theology is moot, it disappears because of what Jesus Christ did and the work he accomplished on Calvary. I know it was a lot to type in, but I typed it in. And she wrote back in the chat TP, which is she to me, she wrote, she writes back, she goes, You're absolutely right. With Jesus Christ, you don't need replacement theology and you don't need dispensationalism because of the work that Jesus Christ did. She goes, You and I were on the same page. Well, I'm glad you think we're on the same page. It took you a while to come up and say, Well, you've got every other religion, sect, believers, unbelievers, uh, doesn't matter, Catholics, doesn't matter. The list goes on and on and on and on and on, a whole long list. But right somewhere in the middle, somewhere in all this mess of religion, you've got Jesus Christ and Him crucified, and it makes everything else, nothing counts but Jesus Christ. Nothing counts but his blood which was shed on Calvary. Nothing counts but the blood of Jesus Christ that has washed away my sins because he is my redeemer. Hallelujah! Praise God. This is Jesus Christ. He's able to able to shut them up. Verse 46. And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. We can't trick him, can't fool him, can't deceive him. And no man was able to answer him a word. Why? They couldn't think of an answer. Amen. Jesus Christ. We use the expression, oh, I blew my mind. The Bible says that while they were they were astonished at his doctrine, and they marveled at his doctrine. So those two words astonished the marvel. And today we have the trouble, oh, that blows my mind. Here Jesus said, He says, the first commandment, you got to serve the Lord with all your mind. So it's like it's not that Jesus blew their mind, He just emptied it out. Nothing left. He ain't got nothing left to say. He got nothing left to think about except what I have, Jesus talking, say except for what Jesus said. And that's how our minds need to be. Our minds need to have the word of God. Amen. If you turn the page of Matthew chapter 24, I'm just throwing this in because it's something, you know, something else we think of. In verse 44, Matthew 24, 44, therefore be ye also ready for any hour that ye think not. Amen. We have all kinds of people thinking all kinds of things. This this leads me to believe some of you listening to me, and every week I you know at the end of preaching, and I sit there and say, Time to get saved. Today's the day. Make your decision right now. And the fact that you keep putting this off and you're putting it off and you're putting it off, and don't put it off today, but you have been putting it off. By faith, you have been putting it off. You have been putting me off. And it leads me to believe here that you're thinking that he's not coming anytime soon. You're putting it off. Oh, maybe tomorrow. Might not have tomorrow. Maybe next week. Again, you might not have next week. Matters what you think. He says, listen, in the hour that you think not, you think he's you think you've got time. It matters what you think. Think, think correctly. I'm out of time. Lord, I'm dis I'm a I'm ashamed of my sin. Disgraced that I am, disobedient that I am. Call upon the name of the Lord and thank God for his grace and thank God for his mercy. Thank God for his forgiveness. Go ahead right now. Thank God for his grace. Thank God for his mercy. Thank God for his forgiveness. Amen. This point, everything I'm looking at today, it points to Jesus Christ. I'm gonna read one last passage of scripture before we pray. In John chapter 6, near the end of the chapter, verse 68, then Simon Peter, he's asking, rather, he's he's responding to, he's answering, that's what I meant to say. He's answering another question. And the answer is John 6, 68. Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Why? Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe, someone say, I believe. But that's not it. So I run into a lot of people who say, I believe. What do you believe? And then they then have try they have trouble defining what they believe. Amen. So believing is good. You need to believe, that's for sure. I'm not taking that out of the equation, but there's more to it. We believe, and we are sure. Someone say, I'm sure. I believe. Say it, I believe. Amen. I am sure. See, Jesus said the error that you're making, you do error, because you don't know this don't know the scriptures. We need to be sure. Amen. I know that I know. Amen. I know what I know is what I know. Amen. Some people know what they don't know, and they don't know what they should know, but I thank God that I know what I know, and I know what I know is what is coming from the word of God, is coming from the scriptures. That's what I know. Amen. Because if I if I confer or refer, confer to something else, another book or another, you know, something else, without knowing the scriptures, I'll make a mistake. I see that so often. People come to me. Sometimes they know some scripts, they'll take us, you know, they'll read a scripture. And and there's no contradiction in the word of God, but I'm just saying there's more than one verse that we live by. Amen. Like I said, the debate that I kind of had at the beginning of the program, thank God for Ephesians chapter 2, verses 8 and 9. But there is a verse 10. This is who we are in Christ. Amen. Someone say that's who I am in Christ. Amen. I'm in Christ. Amen. This is who I am. So, like I said, I thank God for verse uh eight. I I remember one time a um uh a person was not accepting what I was saying, and um the person went in to um quote the uh to the best of their ability, Ephesians chapter 2, 8 and 9. And here's me, um this is the this was me how I was reacting. I'm going, I don't know if they thought I was having an epileptic fate or something, and I'm going, because I and they looked at me, they go, I said, I'm waiting for verse 10. I said, You got me Ephesians 2, verses 8, verse 9. It's like, and and next, next, and and so close. The first step is there, but there's verse 10. Manchin I'll live by bread alone, but by every word. Don't mind the breakfast I had this morning. I'm looking forward to you know, eating supper at the end uh uh uh of today. But in the meantime, thank God for every word which has proceeded out of the mouth of God. Hallelujah. Consider it and to meditate upon it. Amen. This is what Peter said. Amen. Look, I'm gonna pray in a couple of minutes. Simon Peter answers, Lord, to whom shall we go? Where are we going? I have the Bible in my hands for you listening on radio. Praise God. Amen. I'm going, I am where I need to go. I am where I need to be. Amen. A few years ago, I needed to do some going. Amen. Get saved, come to repentance. Amen. Now I am where I need to be, I am where I should be, I am where God wants to be. Like I'm still holding my Bible and I'm walking back and forth with the word of God in my hands. Praise God. For everyone of you listening on radio, I thank God that you're I thank God that you're listening. Praise God. Become a part of this ministry, amen. So we can do greater things and further things. Verse 69 says, and we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ. Amen. The Son of the Living God. It reads a little differently in French, but in English. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ. Praise God. I believe and I'm sure, and I know, I know what I'm reading. Amen. Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Amen. What do you think of Jesus Christ today? From this day forward. What are you going to, what's what is going to be in your mind? And we need all your mind. We don't need, well, maybe this, if, and a button. I'm sure he was a good person. Can't keep going. I'm sure he was a prophet. Keep going. He did a lot more than prophesy. He did a lot more than a few good deeds. Amen. Let's stand. I'm going to pray shortly. Put your hands up. We're talking about Jesus and what he did for you and for me, for I, you and I. Some of you could say it for me. Hallelujah. Hands up. Amen. For the thank God for the work which was wrought on Calvary. Hallelujah. On the way to Calvary, on the way to the cross, he multiplied loaves, multiplied some fish, straightened out a decrepit arm.

Amen.

Healed a leg that was being dragged. Leg was halt. Couldn't walk. Put that leg into motion. What else did he do? Cleanse. Amen. The skin of some lepers. Walking by a funeral. Put an end to the funeral. Touch the body that was in that coffin, whatever they were carrying. Life touched death, and death became alive. This is Jesus Christ. And then as we turn to Calvary, as we look at the cross and the work that was accomplished on the cross, someone say, Thank God for forgiveness. Thank God for redemption. Thank God for atonement through his blood. Father in heaven, we stand thankful today. Praise God. Not only with the right thinking of who your son is, but with the mind of Christ as well. Thank God for this teaching. Thank God for these verses that we read today. We're in motion, we're on the way which leadeth unto life. And I thank God, praise God, that we can be found in a whatever situation we're not lacking. We're in the fire, there he is with us, not forsaken, not abandoned. We're going through the waters, there he is going through with us. Praise God. Whatever the situation is, health, human, physical, financial, mental, spiritual, economical. God is God, faithful to his promise. And Father in heaven, I thank you. Praise God for being who you are. Providing what you have, the provisions which we have, providing which which we have received, and your word today making a difference in our lives. Doesn't really matter what other people have to say, if they're hypocrites or they're just ignorant or not read or the Bible is not part of their weaponry, part of their arsenal. We pray for them, Father in heaven, they're our family, depending on Masonry, depending on Latter day Saints, depending on witnesses of all sorts of all kinds of reasonings which exist. Well, we pray that their eyes, amen, be turned towards. Your son Jesus Christ. Some of the billboards, or all of the billboards that are up that are still up, we pray that just that with one name, just those two words on that sign, along with the Holy Bible, but those two words on that sign will awaken, awaken the mind, direct the mind, the heart. So this is not just a vain cuss word and passing, a vain uh historical figure that we talk about, cartoon character, Hollywood movie character, all these ideas and concepts that eradicate who Jesus Christ really is because of the flesh, because of the works of the flesh. But that they see and be able to walk after the spirit, be able to walk by faith, not by sight, looking at a crucifix, looking at a rosary, looking at beads, looking at a picture, looking at an image, looking at a movie, looking at a whatever else. I mean, may they look, I mean, turn towards the Word of God, the Bible today. Get to know you for who for who you really are, get to know your son Jesus Christ for who he really is and what he has really done for each and every one of us today, Lord. I pray. If someone be listening, it's time they make their decision right now. Say, God, be merciful unto me a sinner. You say those seven words, very powerful words in the English language. You say those seven words, your life changes. The heart of stone comes out of you, it is replaced by the heart of flesh. Jesus writes on the fleshly tables of your hearts, his words, his commandments, his ordinances, gives you direction, gives you a all your heart, gives you a heart full, gives you a all your mind, it gives you a mind full. It gives you, amen, what you need to endure unto the end, for the same shall be saved. Lord, we thank God for salvation, tribulations that we go through. Thank God we're not alone as we go through them. Thank God we have salvation from your wrath. We're not, amen, exposed. We are we're we have salvation from your wrath, which will shall be poured out. But Lord, we pray for the nations that there may be peace. That men and men and women with their children, their families, look around them, saying, Um, there's nothing to the left, there's nothing to the right, there's nothing from politics, there's nothing from the conqueror, there's nothing from the warlords, there's nothing we need Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray for our brothers and sisters in Africa and saints, people coming to Christ this week. Praise God in Jesus' name. Thank God for the testimony of this woman. Amen. Where the maribou, that false demonic teacher, amen, told a woman that you'll you'll never be able to, you won't bring your child to a term. Your child will not be born. Thank God, amen, that a child was born two days ago in Jesus' name because that woman got saved, because that woman received the Bible in her hands, because that woman heard a man of God say, You give your life to Christ, and you will have a child that will be born. Praise God. Thank God for that testimony, living proof that Jesus Christ is not dead, but that he is alive. And I thank God for that truth, praise God, that we do have today. Praise God. Bless my brothers and sisters, wherever they may be listening within the sound of my voice, Lord. I thank God for this technology that allows us, amen, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise God. When some folks would have me sit down, I thank God today that the strength that you have given me and the health that you have given me was able to go open up the word of God, turn some pages and read, having the Holy Ghost as a guide and having my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a shepherd. Thank God we were able to exhort, to edify, and to comfort one another with these words, giving you all the praise and the glory for a great week we're gonna have in school, a great week we're gonna have at work, a great week we're gonna have serving you as profitable servants for your kingdom. In Jesus' name, Lord, I pray these things. I thank God for the blessing, praise God, which we have to have come together, to have assembled together, and to receive what you have given us today. Praise God, amen. A biblical understanding, a biblical um comprehension that we that we we are able to go forth with the mind, amen, given us through your spirit, and we won't be making mistakes, but we we will be serving you in Jesus' name, Lord. I pray these things, praise God. Thank God for my brothers and sisters. This week, as we read, as we search, as we read the scriptures, it will be a blessing unto each and every one of us. Praise God. And when the questions come our way, we will have the answer. For Jesus is above all other names, praise God, the answer. Praise God, his word, the answer that the world needs today. Praise God. God, amen. Father in heaven, you have all the answers, and you gave us the answer that we needed for our sins, Jesus Christ, Lamb of God, sacrifice of all sacrifices, and we are so thankful for the cross. In Jesus' name, Lord, I thank God for the message which we heard today. I pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Praise God. Well, in my prayer, I already kind of invited, insisted that you turn to God. So if you made that decision, it's the best decision that anybody can make. Amen. I've said this before. Some people don't like when I say it, but I need to say it. The smartest people in the world are the people that have made a decision to serve Jesus Christ and to become a son and a living God. Best decision anyone can make. Praise God. Amen. Psalm 119. Amen. You can read. Yeah, but my wife is saying in Psalm 119. I know it's a long chapter, 170 some verses to read, but you read through there and you can see where the, you know, where we're where spiritual, godly, biblical, eternal life, you know, intelligence lies. Amen. So make that decision today. Praise God. I don't mind you being here every Sunday. I want to just see you saved. I want to see you joining your husband or husband joining your wife or children joining mom and dad. I want to see you on your way to heaven. Praise God before it's too late. Washed in the blood of Jesus Christ before it's too late. Today's the day. Now is the time. Amen. Time to get saved. Praise God. Amen. This is how we think of Jesus Christ. Amen. I'm just dropping these seeds into your mind, into your thoughts, into your heart. Amen. Because Jesus said, Hey, what do you think of the Christ? What do you think of me? What do you think of the Savior? Who do you think I am? Amen. Who do they say I am? Amen. Call me a prophet. Call me Isaiah. Praise God. But thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. You're listening to That's the Truth? What verse? Psalm 119. Okay, required reading. Matthew chapter 22, and by my uh my faithful companion in the gospel, Psalm chapter 119, verse 98, 99, and 100. That's the required reading for this week. And more. Praise God. Don't be afraid to read more. Search the scriptures daily for in them, praise God. In them, praise God. In that Bible, in that book. Be blessed. My name is Lincoln. I love you all. Praise God. You're listening to That's the Truth. Until next time, praise God. Remember, what you think is important. What you say, it's really important. Your works, it's really important. We're gonna get to it until next time. Be blessed with the word of God. Hallelujah. We can clap if you want. Amen. Thank God for our listeners, for our guests, our friends. Praise God. Amen. Hallelujah. Love you all. Till next time.
