This is how you can help me preach the gospel of Christ, salvation for this generation. Well, let's get right to it. Get your Bibles. There's a lot to read because God has a lot to say to us directly from the Word of God. You're listening to that's the truth. Hallelujah. Praise God. Are you glad for truth? Amen. Whether we read it in the Bible or we put uh you know apply the Bible to song, I thank God. Amen. The word of God can make a difference in our life as we as we apply God's words. Praise God. When the devil wants to remove it or take it away or push it to the side, I thank God we we can hang on to it and we can even use it and to and to make it more evident and to sh in in the in the display that men and women need to see today. Praise God. So I thank God it's not based on a certain date on a calendar, it's not a date on a day or a month. Rather, it's not based on a date or a month or a time period or or a day of the week or day of the year, even. On the French side, I was talking to my brothers and sisters, and I was saying, God is eternal. I mentioned this last week. This gospel is timeless. Inside of time, outside of time, with time. It doesn't make it this makes no difference to God. If it's one day or a thousand years, it makes no difference to God. So I thank God today that we can do our purpose, we can fulfill our purpose where we are, where you are right now. Praise God, where you are, where God is in his presence. Thank God, amen. For one or two people that came back from the uh from our French side. But here we are today, as I look online and I welcome those listening on YouTube and those listening on Facebook, those listening on godly.tv. I bless you for taking the time out of a busy schedule or a busy weekend to be with believers. And this is what makes a difference. Praise God. I'm not assembling a month uh with mockers or sitting in the seat of the scornful or standing with sinners. I thank God today. I can I see my brother and my sister, whether it be from Canada, from the US, from Africa, wherever you are listening, I am gathered together with someone that makes a difference. Praise God. I thank God for your text you sent me this week. Amen. Five minutes ago, I got a text from a brother. He said, Brother, I love you and I'm praying for you. Amen. Praise God. So that's text number two. Hallelujah. And I thank God. This is what I like. I said, believers, praise God, amen. Uh, people that are um have a love and a compassion to do what the Bible says. Praise God, amen. And this is something we we made this confession last week where this test we had this testimony before we sat down last week, looking at a sister, looking at her brother, saying, I love you and I'm praying for you. Praise God, amen. Our sister's singing that prayer will fix things, prayer will make a difference. Amen. I'm glad that someone is praying for me. I need people to pray for me. Praise God. In a couple minutes, we're gonna pray, but share this link with your friends and family so that they too can be in on it. Amen. Preaching is good, it feeds me, it elaborates on the word of God and what we need to read and what we need to understand, but praying makes all the difference. Praise God, especially prayer from a righteous man. Amen. And I thank God for this. The the last verse in Psalm 21, the 21st chapter of Psalms, it says, Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength, so we so will we sing and praise thy power. Praise God. Be lifted up, is how it went on on the French side. Be thou exalted, and this is what we're here to do this afternoon or this evening, to exalt God, to lift him up, to let the world know that there is none other. Amen. They may think there is, or they may are, they may have been told that there is, but I thank God, amen. In the beginning was the word, so I'm gonna go all the way back before there was anything else, amen, to teach me to allow this is what I believe on, depend on, to allow me to understand that there is no other God. Amen. I don't care if they block traffic, if they if they're on their knees with a magic carpet or a flying carpet, it makes no difference to me. Amen. Their prayer is not being heard because they're sinning, because they don't have Jesus Christ to get to God. Jesus said, No man cometh unto the Father but by me. So without Jesus Christ, you don't have that intercessor, you don't have that mediator. And I thank God today this is who we lift up because Jesus Christ came to do a work for you and I. Amen. Someone say for me. Praise God. Last week we read where they where religious groups uh they could they couldn't sit in the they they couldn't gather in the same synagogue, amen, because they didn't get along doctrinally. But they had one thing in common, and that was let's get Jesus, let's corner him, let's try to uh uh fool him or get him uh get him uh mixed up or whatever their intentions was, they can't they were able to come together against Jesus Christ, but they didn't know who they were up against. Amen. The Bible says they tried it, and when they went back, they said, We're not gonna try it again because it doesn't matter what we ask him, he always has the answer because he is the answer. Amen. Someone can say for you and I praise God. And it's the same thing today with the word of God in my hands. Amen. I'm not afraid, it doesn't matter who I've I've spoken to, like seminary graduates with one degree, two seminaries, two degrees. I've uh can face to face with an um with an imam from Iran with his bodyguards, and the word of God was always exalted, the word of God was always uh put forth, and the word of God was always uh the authority above what anybody else and what anybody else had to say, what anything else was written, what it doesn't matter. I don't care if it comes from seminary, if it comes from Google, the word of God today that's in my hands, amen, cometh from above. Praise God. The manna on the French side, what I was able to uh what what I was able to receive and to and to read and to partake, and my brothers and sisters that were here that recited scripture after scripture this afternoon, praise God. This was feeding me and it was manna from above. Praise God, amen. I know when you talk to Google it comes from above, but it's around the satellites kind of circling the earth. My above is way above that. Amen. My above, praise God, a name which is above all other names, praise God, the spirit which is above the satellites or the drones or however else, the cloud, where wherever uh the information comes from today. But what is in my heart, praise God, not just in my hands and before my eyes, but what is in my heart comes from above. Praise God, hallelujah! And this is why when I read the last verse in Psalm 21, it says, Be thou exalted, be thou lifted up, praise God, Lord, in thine own strength, so we will sing and praise, praise God, amen. And this is what you've been doing for the past few minutes. Now we're getting into the word of God, but before we do that and do anything else, we're going to be thankful. So put your hands up, praise God, as I look at those. I welcome everyone on our YouTube channel. There's names uh before I came out. I was looking at names on Facebook page and you put YouTube channel, which I haven't seen. I trust you're still listening. I trust your Bible is close on hand because we're gonna get into the word of God today, once again. But before we do that, let's be thankful unto God. Put your hands up and begin to pray. I want to hear you. Praise God. And it's a couple of people that we need to uh that that have requested their for uh for prayer today. But thir first of all, thank God, Father in heaven, thank God for this place, thank God for this day which you have given us, thank God for this opportunity to come to you, thank God for this opportunity to be found in your house. Praise God today, to gather together where there are two or three gathered. We have the promise that your son Jesus Christ shall be in our midst. And I give you all the praise and the glory for that today. For we are standing not without, for we are standing not within an empty old building, but like we say on the French side, amen. We we are in a house of treasures, we are in your storehouse where there is in store for us what we need today, praise God. The shelves are not empty, the table is not bare, but you have prepared a table for us, and I thank God, praise God, that we have come with expecting an abundance, not a famine, but expecting everything that we need. Come to our need according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, praise God. Anoint the word of God as it comes forth this afternoon. May it be a blessing in the lives of every single person listening today, praise God. May it be a blessing to our young people, may it be a blessing, praise God, to the to the oldest and to and to the youngest, and to everyone in between, praise God. We are in need as we ask, give us this day our daily bread. I thank God for which we received on the French side, and now for my English brothers and sisters, I thank God there will be an anointing that will break the yoke, an anointing for signs and wonders to follow, an anointing to come to the need of whatever is required, whatever is being requested of my brothers and sisters. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name, praise God. Whatever we are asking, whatever you hear I request in the name of Jesus, may it come to pass. Right now I pray that every single person listening come against the headache and the foot ache and the back ache and the knee ache and the arm ache and the elbow ache and whatever else aches. We're gonna have 60 minutes of the word of God being sowed into our lives, the joy of the Lord, which is our strength, the peace that we have, because we are serving you, the God of peace. I thank God it is a blessing in Jesus' name, praise God. Anoint this vessel as the word of God is about to come forth. I thank God, hallelujah! That the word, amen. There's ears open to hear, there's eyes open to see, there's a heart that is open to receive and perceive, and the word of God will come forth and make its way into good ground in Jesus' name. Praise God. There will be a root, it will be a good root, it will be a root that brings forth fruit unto your glory and unto your honor. In Jesus' name, Lord, I thank God. Praise God for the meetings and the gatherings, the assembly which we had today for the uh for the the support of the orphanage, orphans in uh Africa. I thank God for that blessing. Lord, those who saw again, amen, our billboard that created a stir, that created people commenting. A hundred comments went to a thousand comments, went to 1,500 comments, Lord. I thank God that they can recognize and realize that what they saw, Jesus Savior, they saw truth. They saw truth that they if if if they come to that knowledge, they shall know the truth, they shall know Jesus Christ, and that truth shall set them free, shall make them free in Jesus' name. Praise God. As the word of God comes forth, anoint it, prepare our hearts and minds for we for what we are about to receive. In Jesus' name, I pray these things. Amen and amen. Praise God. Hallelujah. The name of our Savior is the name of our Lord is praise God. At home, everyone, shout it, Amen. Create a disturbance, praise God. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Amen. Your hands are up. I don't care if you're on the golf course or if you're around a campfire, it makes no difference to me. Praise God. C9 hasn't been passed yet. Amen. So nobody's gonna toss you in jail for praying. Amen. I'm not blocking traffic, praise God. I'm minding my own business. Praise God. Hallelujah. And some of that some of that just happens to be our father's business. Praise God. Pray for my brothers and sisters. They're behind, they're in jail, they're but they're they're uh behind lock bars. In Jesus' name, I pray for them. Praise God. Whatever the situation there's going through, each one of them has different situations and all positions. Pray for Jordan, praise God, that his mind be renewed in Jesus' name. Spirit of the living God, find him where he is right now. Whatever cell where he is in, his mind is being changed, praise God. Life that is within him gives him the will to live and the will, praise God, to to to uh to to spend the days that needs to be spent, and then once you walk out in freedom, the name of the Lord shall be justified and glorified, praise God, as it is with Justin and his family. Touch him right now, praise God, amen. Give him that the power that he needs to make a difference in the streets, uh, the streets where he first knew corruption, he can bring and introduce a savior, Jesus Christ. Uh, praise God, amen. Unto those uh that are remain in darkness, unto those that are still struggling to find their way in this world. It's not too late for them to turn around and be found on the way to heaven. Praise God. In Jesus' name, Lord, I pray. Not to be howlbound any longer, but to be on the way to heaven. Thank God for this opportunity once again that we have. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to those who believe. Thank God for the believers, amen. Jewish, gentile, doesn't matter who they are, where they are from, who's listening today, praise God. We have an equal opportunity to call upon the name of the Lord, and ye shall be saved. Lord, I ask for these things in Jesus' name, amen and amen. Praise God, hallelujah. Let's give our Father in heaven a great hand, a good hand. Amen. Applause, serve it with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, praise God. Make a jumper noise unto the Lord, praise God, hallelujah. Serve the Lord in a dance, leap for joy if you don't have it, praise God, hallelujah. Use your hands, let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord. Hallelujah. Bless his holy name. I'm going with Jesus all the way. Praise God, amen. Someone say I'm not there yet, but I'm on my way. Praise his holy name.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, thank you, Jesus.
SPEAKER_01Someone say the name of Jesus once again. Amen. His name is Praise God. You may be seated with a Bible in your hands. Lost track of one of my big Bibles, but then I realize we're in English, I can find it here. I want to read something. Since in this world it is a special occasion. That type of long weekend. I don't want to read something that's in the Bible. Someone say it's in my Bible. Amen. So find it in Matthew chapter 12, verse 40. And not only is this in your Bible, but it is in my Bible, it's red letter. So that means Jesus is gonna do the talking. So Jesus said, and the reason why I'm reading this because today is Easter Sunday, or they call it Resurrection Sunday, the first day of the week. If something doesn't line up, and I need to decide whether man is doing the things the way they should, or if Jesus gets the credit for what is what is the truth. Amen. So don't put all your Easter eggs in the same basket. You can't do that. Because Jesus said, for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of Man be three days, someone say three days and three nights. In the heart of the earth, in the depths of the earth, amen. In the heart of the earth, that means he this wasn't just a subsoil, he went down pretty deep to knock on the devil's door. Amen. So now someone say three days. I know some of you that are reading this, I know we we've probably all read it. I'm not gonna take that, I'm not gonna discredit anyone in that way. But if you're associating what Jesus said to a this holiday that we're celebrating, that we celebrate every year, it's the wrong month, anyways. Three days and three nights doesn't add up to Good Friday, Friday night, then Saturday, Saturday night, and then resurrection Sunday morning. Something's wrong somewhere. And I know some people say, oh, the date and the day and the time, it doesn't matter. Well, it it does. Because first of all, the Bible's not teaching us to have respect for this day or holy day. And if you want to do it, you can go ahead and it doesn't matter to me. You show up in church once a year, but that's fine. I was raised in church, and I know that today is the busy, unless somebody's somebody's unless it's a funeral, uh, today that it's it's a it's a good day for churches. But celebrating the way they are celebrating, see, whatever the devil can use to discredit what is holy, to discredit Jesus Christ. Amen. As I said, you read you you f fast forward ten chapters and you read where they came to Jesus to try to to to uh well discredit one to try to trick him. And um whatever the Satan will use, and and he can use uh Hollywood in uh their retelling of account, biblical accounts or retelling stories, however you want to, whatever entertainment is what it is, but I really want to say all these all these um details, and I'm using this word carefully, but all these details, and the Bible calls it every jot and every tittle, every word, every syllable. And I cannot attach myself or endorse something that has been man-made. Come up. And you can blame the the whatever council you want to blame, you can blame the Roman Catholic Church, where wherever this came from. What's wrong is the people following suit. What doesn't help is they taking a little bit of scripture so that the flesh can feel all right, so that the flesh can feel dressed. I mean, you read in Daniel chapter 5 when what was holy was brought into the presence of sinners, and what was holy was made profane, there was a a a hand that appeared and began to write on the wall. Amen. Here was King Belshazzar. He's sitting on his throne, and the Bible says, after he drank a little, probably a little bit too much, he said, Get me the vessels of gold and silver that my that my dad or that my father uh is um uh conquered, if you would, out of the synagogue from the Jews. And they brought these vessels were used, he's I'm he's sitting on his throne, that's why I'm sitting down. These vessels were used in service unto God. These vessels were holy. Another word is sanctified, which is meat for the master's use, meat for God's use. You don't play around with what is sanctified, you don't play around with what is holy. This is a standard that comes from God, this is a standard that comes from his word, and God has not changed, nor his word changed. You should have stuck to brass and to iron and to stone and to clay, rather and to yeah, and to your own silver and to your own gold. Read it in Daniel chapter 5. Rather than to take, and this is why I was listening to last week and the week before, and I've already mentioned C9, and people tell me, you know, keep that stuff, don't talk about that stuff. I'm not the one walking into Parliament onto Parliament Hill. I'm not the one for my U.S. brothers and sisters listening. I'm not the one walking into the White House. They are walking into my church. Amen. I'm not the one that's engaging. I've been preaching, I've been minding my own business. But now when you want to take a page out of what is holy, of what is perfect, amen, what is entirety in its form, and they want to take out some verses. Well, now this involves me because I'm the one who turns the pages. I'm the one that's responsible to live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. And if the devil can uh obtain a slight, you know, mi uh minuscule sort of victory by taking out a word or two. Well, the Bible says, if you'll do that, your name will be taken out of the Lamb's book of life. Read the last page in your Bible. You don't add to the scriptures because the plagues will be added. Amen. And this is not the time to play around with plagues because we've all gone through some plagues, and there's more to come according to what you read in Matthew 24 and Matthew 25. This is why we need, I mentioned this last week. There is a gap that has been produced, and the church is at fault. This is not a gap that's in the wall that's protecting the city of Montreal or the city of Grand Forks or the city of wherever you're listening. This is a gap that has been formed. Again, the church is at fault. There's a hole which is allowing the enemy to come in, which is allowing darkness to infiltrate. I mentioned this last week. If the devil manic can manage to penetrate your mind, his next step he'll make his way through to your heart. And then you're at a whole different level, you're at a whole different combat. Because now you've lost control of your thoughts and you've lost control of your heart. We've been I've been reading scriptures or we have been together. Thank God. I welcome every one of you listening today. We have been reading scriptures for the past two months on what what you say is important. Was a series of four uh broadcasts, I think. This is number four of what you think is important, and it doesn't matter if we seem to be talking about the tongue or our thoughts, the heart seems to show up in these scriptures that we're reading. There is an association that needs to be considered when we are to take control of our flesh. You get into Galatians chapter 5, where it says that there is a comp, there is a war, a warring, there is a conflict that takes place between the flesh and the spirit. Now the flesh has nothing to lose. It comes from the dust of this earth and it goes back to the dust of this earth. So it has nothing to lose. So the flesh is demand, it'll demand more pleasures, more sports, more more uh more gambling, more lying, more women, more men, more what? More perversion, more addiction, more until the day it dies and it goes back to dust. But what the what you need to realize is that what the flesh leaves behind is your spirit, your soul. And this is what we are looking at so that when the when we do when we do say goodbye to this corruption as we get ready to put on in corruption, that we are able to make that transition with Jesus Christ, by Jesus Christ, through Jesus Christ, and unto Jesus Christ, because it is Jesus Christ that will present his church. It is Jesus Christ that will present his bride to his father, and if the father needs to accept a bride that is without spot, a bride that is without wrinkle, a bride that has gone through, yes, we're going to go through the tribulation. We are spared from the wrath of God, but there will be tribulation, the Bible says. And I thank God today that we are able to make our way through what this earth, whatever the situation or the circumstances that may arise. Amen. Thank God that we have an answer, and his name is Jesus Christ. Praise God. We have an answer, and all we need to do is open the Bible answers itself. So we open up this book, we open up the word of God. If you're listening to me on radio, I'm walking with my King James Bible in my hand right now. Yes, it's open to Matthew, where we have been reading, but I thank God, amen. The point I'm making is that the Bible needs to be opened. Our eyes, amen, our eyes need to be uh, you know, fixed, need to be fascinated. Amen. This is that this word is not a King James Bible word, but it is a word that we're gonna look at when we read a scripture from the book of Acts. How the the uh the the folks of in the in this New Testament day and age, how they were able to have a mind uh, amen. My subtitle today is a willing mind. So I am gonna be making all kinds of uh suggestions uh biblically and scripturally and spiritually, that your mind be found willing, that your mind be found uh uh focused and concentrated on the word of God and not to have distractions uh or influences that come from this world. As I said, we there we can and and and the the technology that we have. I mean, you can come comment all day long and all night long and get into vain discussions and get into uh uh debates and contentions and arguments that does not feed the soul. Amen. And there's all kinds of things that reinforce uh you know people's thoughts and minds, and we don't even know who we're listening to. They look good, they're dressed well, their hair is combed, they have a nice background, they have a nice title, they have a nice that you know, they're wearing robes and they have chains around their waist or a chain around their neck or whatever they're wearing. And we I I as as I think the program was over on the French side, or maybe we were still running, I'm not sure, but now I I know I'm live streaming. Get used to identifying the spirit that you face. Amen. Because when first of all, here I'll start with this. We walk by and not by sight. See, I know a lot of people, and they'll come and go, and they look good. They dress right, they're they're they're their their they get their their hair is you know, they their their hair is combed right in the right direction. They got they they they they look they they look holiness and they sound holiness, and they know how to act and how to move their hands and how to position themselves. But I thank God that I I make myself or or I I ensure that I am blind to these things as I walk not by sight, but I walk by faith. Be careful, Paul teaches us, the Bible teaches every one of us. Be careful for the devil who is able, and I like the French word, disguise himself, amen. Into he the he is able to appear even as an angel of light. So if you're looking, say, Oh, this is an angel of light. And the same thing happens when we when we scroll and we listen to be ready to identify the spirit, know the word of God, amen. So this way you won't be fooled because the devil sure knows how to wrap things up really nice. Amen. Put a pretty bow around it with a fancy ribbon, and all of a sudden it's accepted. A nice tune with a nice lyric, and all of the devil writes the music, the devil writes the song, and it's behind the pulpit and in the churches, thinking they're getting to God, calling it worship when you need to get into the Bible and find out how God wants to be worshipped by true worshipers. It's not a big screen and it's not flashing lights. This is not what Jesus came to give us. Amen. And this weekend falls into that category where you know big events uh were done and uh people are uh leaning towards a scriptural reference or leaning towards whatever the grave or to resurrection. I understand the grave is and I understand all this, amen. But again, when it comes time to to uh to confront the devil, when it comes time to lay aside the weight and the sin which doth easily beset us, amen. This is weight which I don't have to carry, this is weight which I don't have to deal with. Amen. If you're tuning into this broadcast saying there must be a celebration today because it's Easter Sunday or palm, whatever you want to call it. No, amen. God is spirit, the Bible teaches us. I receive from God if I am spiritual, if I'm carnal, I get nothing. I give in the flesh and I receive man's reward. I fast, you know, my plate gets turned upside down. I fast in the flesh, I receive man's reward, reward rather. Amen. This is why it is important for us, they who walk after the flesh, do mind the things. Read Romans chapter 8. I'll finish the verse. They who walk after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they who are after the spirit, amen, they mind the things which are after the spirit, the things which are spiritual. Amen. This is Romans chapter 8, and that chapter starts. I mean, there is therefore now no condemnation to them, to those, to you and I who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit, for the law of the spirit of life hath made me free. See, I'm free from these things. I don't have to wait once a year to to for in in in in commemoration. Amen. Praise God. If you were, if you tuned in last week, and last week was good preaching. I listened to it several times, and I've got a number of points. I usually have toothy things that I remember, but I've got a number of points that I want to remind us of before we get into the word of God. And the the the the the word of God which which needs to have preeminence in our life. If you were listening last week, God was glorified. Jesus Christ was glorified. I didn't have to wait to a day on the calendar. Like I said, this has nothing to do with God. Amen. God's not limited or not confined to a month, He's not limited or confined to a date, to a day of a week. He's not even limited or confined to a year. Amen. This is what we have in your hands, it's timeless. In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God. The same when you read the second verse in John chapter 1. Praise God. This is what we need. I don't have to uh circumvent around traditions or around trends. I mentioned this last week. I don't have to show up and this is what's acceptable or this is what the world likes to see in 2026. No, as I said, not walking by sight, amen, but while walking by faith. And the faith that I need today is faith which cometh, amen, from the word of God. This is what I'm hearing as I quote these scriptures. I trust that your faith is on the increase. For without faith, it is impossible to please God. Amen. But they, amen. If you search, if you diligently search for God, you know that God is, you know what this word is. You'll be able to identify this word of God. This is not just a book or a historical document. These are words of spirit and of life. Someone say, Amen. Praise God. And this is how, praise God, this is how we live. Amen. So when you go back to what I read, Jesus said, three days and three nights. Praise God. Amen. Hallelujah. My other reference, I think I made note of it or I gave you to mention to you in Daniel chapter 5. Amen what they took from the temple. We need to be careful of who we listen to. That might be the next series. What I hear is important. Praise God. Might have to lower the volume on some things. Change the channel on other things. Amen. Oh, Lincoln, what are you saying now? I'm just repeating what Jesus said. Jesus said, be careful what you hear. He also said, be careful when you hear. Amen. Taught on this before. We need to be taught again. We need to be reminded of these things again. Amen. And I thank God, praise God for that blessing that we do have. Turn into your Bibles, if you would, in the Old Testament, the first book of Chronicles, chapter 28. And as we read this text, I want to bring to your attention how David is exhorting his son Solomon. I mentioned last week that God is a keeper. And I live with the peace of God in my life, and I live with the God of peace. Praise God. And when I say, when I use this word, God is a keeper, for he, the um second to last book in the Bible, for unto him that is able to keep you. Someone say me. That's near the end of the book of Jude. It's only one page, only one chapter. Unto him that is able to keep, I wrote in the sidelines in the margin of my Bible, God is a keeper. He is able to keep me. If I depend on something else. Amen. We've got um I don't know. I I mean I fact-checked this as best as I could, but the here in Canada was the the um the president of the Bank of Canada, which decides our interest rates or decides sets inflation, and the president of BMO and our prime minister and whoever else, they flew to China for help on the economy. Uh-oh. No wonder gas hit over$2 a liter here in Montreal. Going in the road. I don't care if they go east, west, north, or south. Look up into the hills from whence cometh our help. We can't depend on what men and women, what this world has to offer. Amen. Especially a communist country that hates the Bible. Amen. This is just one more nail, you know, in that is that is being uh used or utilized in the devil's attempt to uh to to get rid of us, children of God. Amen. Thinking that his way will be, I know he's prince, and he has and the the power, the dominion, that's whatever's happening upon this on this earth, his kingdom, small little K. That is being taken place, temporary as it is, and he's trying to do his thing, and we are the ones that need to cause the interference. I said somebody this week they wrote me trying to, they sent me a newspaper article to read, elaborating on C9, and be careful where you pray, and be careful, you know, you can't play and pray in public. I said, Well, they can throw a rug down and on the center line and get on their knees and touch their head to the ground and pray. Nobody does nothing about it. Amen. I was talking to somebody, I began to mock the devil. I said, Yeah, I said, I have a picture, you know. She said, When you pray, you know, Pete, you pray because I've I've prayed in. I mean, call me in Facebook parking lot, I'll pray. I won't pray in the store because that's private property. But anywhere outside, the uh and I have prayed in stores before when I've had to, when it's been an emergency, but under normal circumstances, I'm outside. So what are you smiling at? I I big smile, big grin, because I picture my neighbor picking up the phone 911 and um state your emergency. Uh my my uh my neighbor's in his driveway and he's got his hands up and he's calling upon the name of the Lord and he's casting out a devil or he's casting a sickness or something. Uh state you are please state your emergency. That's the first thing that hit my mind. I don't care how C9 ends up on the table or what how it's gonna end up. I know where it's making the church folks really nervous. Somebody who sent me the article by text and whatever, I wrote back, and nothing against the person. I thank God I'm informed because apparently it's got like one step left, or whatever. My uh my response was I will pray like Daniel. Before C9, Daniel prayed with his windows open on his knees, looking up to his father in heaven, and after C9, Daniel prayed. See, there was no C9, Daniel had his version of C9, it was a giant statue that the children of Israel were forced against, and then they were making laws, trying to stop prayer. And uh, I don't know if they were praying in the in public. The religion of Islam had not been invented yet, and I choose carefully that word because that's all it is. It's a man-made invention by somebody who's a literate, couldn't read or couldn't write. Amen. Came up with some fairy tales, mixing, you know, whatever folklore with with a couple of names from the Bible and coming up with that had not been invented yet. So, whatever was going on in Babylonian times, they they the same devil that is operating today on Parliament Hill, the same devil trying to stop prayer in public. You took the they they again, you're playing with the vessels that are sanctified meet for the master's use. You're better off to have in the state of bombs falling here and there in different countries around the world, you're better off to have a man of God or a woman of God intercessing or praying unto God than bullets flying around and bombs falling on your head. But the devil doesn't make any sense. He wants to make take what's good and make it look like it's evil. Takes what evil makes it look like. Like I said, this is a gap. This is a a hole in the in a in a solid foundation that should be solid, but a hole that has been made a gap that somebody needs to stand in the gap and say the church has messed up over the years. The church let this allowed this to happen. The church backed down when it was time to pray, the church back down when it was time to fast. The church back down when it was time to rebuke divorce and remarriage, the church back down when it was time to rebuke a little social dripping and wine sipping. It seems to be all right as long as it's done in moderation. Amen. I've said this before. What they kept silent, what my parents' generation and my grandparents' generation kept silent on, it's celebrated today. I would expect, and while I worked in the industry for a little over 20 years, I expected my unsaved friends and colleagues, folks I was working with, hey Lincoln, have a beer. Hey, Lincoln, have some wine. I would expect that from them because they're sinners. But at the same time, I'd be somewhere else and a church pastor would come along saying, Did you get some beer? It's light. A church pastor would come to me, it's all right, just try some drinking. A church ordained Baptist minister stood in his in the rectory and where his desk was, and he said, Cheat on your wife, you'll see, God will still love you after being married to my wife for 25 years. This is what is, I'm not talking, I can stand here all day and bash the hockey game or bash what's taking on the dart game in the clubs, but I'm not. I'm talking about what's taken place behind the pulpit, so-called. This is when it this is when it affects me, but thank God, as I said, to be able to discern the difference between what's taken place in the flesh, to be able to identify an unclean spirit. Amen. Whether it comes in the form of gambling, drinking, whatever addictions, whatever is whatever the the the whatever the flesh feels comfortable with. The moment the flesh feels comfortable, this is a wake-up call. Amen. Hey spirit, where are you? Amen. It's time to kick the flesh, amen. Time to hit the it's time to show up with some it is written. Amen. This is what is spiritual, this is what is the word of God, amen. We answer for ourselves. When the devil showed up in Matthew chapter 4, hey Jesus, you're hungry? See that stone? See that rob? Make some bread. Oh, let me call Peter. You see what Judas has to say. Jesus knew what to say. It is written. Amen. There's my example. There's the truth that we can that you and I can go by. We I mentioned this last week. We answer for ourselves. It becomes your responsibility and my responsibility. The devil's standing there knocking. Devil wants your mind. Wants your soul, wants your heart, wants your hands. Devil needs your hands. I've said this before. Devil can't smoke. He needs you to inhale for him that spirit, that quest. The devil can't see, the devil can't look through you know pictures or perversions or addictions or gambling or buy the ticket or whatever. The long list. The devil needs you. The slave to sin. Thank God we've changed masters. Hallelujah. I'm losing some of my amens. As I said, it's up to you last week. I said it's not because you know it's people go around saying the devil made me sin. No, I think a sinner is somewhat a sinner wants to sin, wants the occasion to sin. I listen to the preaching sometimes from this channel, and I'm sitting there, my my flesh is my flesh will sit there sometimes. The way I think, I'm listening to the preaching, going, you know what? It'd be easier to change churches. Go somewhere else, which is where gospel is where where the ears are being tickled, is what the Bible says. Amen. Where we where the flesh can sit and be comfortable, comfortable, conformed to this world. Amen. But I'd rather make somebody uneasy and see them endure unto the end, see them get to heaven. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Hallelujah. Thank God from our other Justin this week. He sent me a sent me a text, RSVP, heaven. Amen. I'm glad you have, amen, the the mind and the mindset. Praise God. You're determined. Hallelujah. To make the place for Jesus. Said, I've gone to prepare a place for you. Who that's me. Praise God. Let not your heart be troubled. Again, scriptures where the heart is involved. When I I mentioned this last week, when I read this Bible, I get an upgrade. When I read this Bible, I'm updated. Hallelujah. I know some folks are sitting there saying, Well, that's not scriptural, that's not KGB. Renewed is. Because I'll pick, you know, we and we all have this experience. Every single person listening. I don't care if you're 85. You got one of these, you got a computer, you got some kind of some sort of technology, it just stops working. Needs an update. And you need, I'll talk about myself. I'm so desperate to get my phone working. I'll push any button. I don't see anything. Amen. I just push the buttons, upgrade, I accept, I agree. I read all the terms. No, I didn't. They're this long. I see, I agree. Update my phone, I gotta make a call, update. I don't see nothing happening. It's in the cloud, it's invisible, and my phone is getting an update, an upgrade. And every single person in this world that is involved with technology, that's acceptable. But then we get mocked or scorned, or I'm told, you know, saying there's something wrong with you folks. When we come to church, we don't see anything. Invisible as God is, invisible as the Spirit is, I come here, Romans chapter 1, verses Romans chapter 12, verses 1 and 2. I get my update. Give me this day my daily bread. Praise God. I need my nine my mind to be renewed. Amen. I need, I need uh I need my up update, I need my upgrade. Praise God. Hallelujah. I am today where I was not yesterday. Amen. The sin which easily besets us and the weight which we're to we're too beset, that means we're we're surrounded by all these objectives that the world has. And if we get if we allow ourselves to be involved, we'll be accepted of the world, but we will not be accepted of God. That's why holiness needs to be preached, that's why sanctification needs to be brought forth. That's why we need to sp uh to we let the world know that hell is real. Hell is not God's rehabilitation center. Amen. You're not going to hell to come back out a better person. You're going to hell and you stay in hell. Oh, yeah, but in church today, they said we don't think hell is eternal. We don't think God would allow somebody to suffer eternally. Well, then God's backing down, God's flip-flopping on his word. Because when you read the scripture that tells us what hell is, including the lake of fire, you can get in, but once you're in, you don't get out. And it's not, you know, when you read Luke chapter 16, it's not a desire, it's not a desirable place to read, to end up, rather. It's not a desirable scripture to read, but it's part of our reading. It's part of what sets the fear of God before my eyes. Get to know God by reading the Bible, get to know God by reading what thus saith the Lord. Get to know God by these scriptures. Get to know Jesus Christ for who he is. Amen. Last week I mentioned Jesus Christ, not only King of kings, but the Bible teaches us that He is our He became the high priest. And this is not because of some sort of Levitical lineage or some sort of bloodline that's traced back to Levi or traced back to the sons of Aaron or to the grandsons of Aaron. This is not, this is not some sort of birthright that comes uh because Jesus was born under the sign of a certain Israelite or Jewish or Hebrew tribe. This is because who is, this is because of who sent them. For God so loved this world that God gave his only begotten son. Hallelujah. And this is what defies, amen, what the scriptures, it defies what the the the it accomplished. It defied the first of all, it was it was found strange for the Jewish people in the Hebrew. They couldn't accept it because it went against their law. But at the same time, it accomplished what the law could not do because it was weak in the flesh. God sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin condemned sin of the flesh. That the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. Verses 3 and 4 in Romans chapter 8. This is why Jesus came. Praise God. And I thank God that we have these examples that have been set forth, these examples that have been given us. Praise God. So now with all this foundation that I have laid, 1 Chronicles, and I welcome all my brothers and sisters, everyone listening. Praise God on YouTube, on Facebook, and on godly.tv. Praise God, whatever social media platform, if you're listening on Spotify or iTunes or anything else. I know we have listeners listening on, especially on radio. I thank you so much for the um everyone listening on radio and live 365. I trust there's a Bible in your hand, but I welcome you. Praise God to the teaching that we have today. This is part four, and uh I'm still under the title What You Think Matters. We're reading from 1 Chronicles chapter 28 and the ninth verse under the subtitle A Willing Mind. And we're gonna read this in the Chronicles, first book, chapter 28, verse 9. And thou, Solomon, my son, know thou the God of thy father. It's a small little F. David is speaking to his son, and serve him with a perfect heart. Once again, just a reminder. You mean see how the heart is always very closely involved. Serve God with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. This is where I got my subtitle from. Amen. See, we have to. How can I say this? We have to want to. We have to we have to be willing. Amen. When they come in criticizing, and sometimes it's not their fault. This is why I'm patient. Just because of misteachings or false teachings that have been put forward, and people believe what they're being told that is not possible. But as we read this, this makes a difference because this is inspired. And again, serve him with a perfect heart, with a willing mind, and again, the Lord searches all hearts. Again, we see how the heart is involved. Praise God. The Lord searches all hearts and understandeth all the imaginations of the thought. This verse is like heavy duty. It's got the right words. And uh to launch the teaching this afternoon for the new next few minutes. I'm gonna be thinking of the mind and the thoughts, and uh rather we're gonna be reading of reading on what we should be thinking of, our minds and our thoughts. It's gonna put us into the right frame of mind, is a an expression which we can use for who we are and how we are to serve God. Because when we read this, the first line that we're reading, it's God here is saying, Um, rather, David is saying here that God the Father serve him. And as long as Solomon served God, I mean the structure, the temple that he built, it was being talked about for countries and different nations. I mean, it was it was all the talk. And as long as Solomon was able to continue to serve God in such a way, uh, when he became involved with, and the Bible uses the word, it's not not me coming up with it, strange women. If that was not bad enough, the strange women showed up with their strange gods that defiled the house of God and defiled the temple of God. See, and some of you have noticed the the Bible scriptures on our walls here. When people walk into this building, when people walk into this house of God, it they you become instantly word of God mind minded. Become instant, instantly mindful, because you can't take off your eyes from the book of Psalms. And um, we have a lot of psalms because it describes a lot of what we do here as far as our worship and as far as the glory and honor that God deserves. We also have from the book of Ephesians, from the book of Kings, from the book of um, up on top here from the book of Haggai, in in um different scriptures that that were um that are that are meaningful. The book of Deuteronomy up here. Um this Isaiah is up in that corner, and up in this corner, the book of Psalms is over there. Praise God. And uh, which is just a few passages to through the Spirit of God, because they're words of spirit and of life, to lead us and to guide us into who into serving God the way God wants to be served. Amen. And here we're being told serve God with a perfect heart and a willing mind. I've been teaching this for the past two, three weeks. They go together. Amen. What's in my mind, what's in my heart, what's in my heart, what's in my mind? Praise God. What's in my heart? You know what's in my heart, because I open my mouth, and this is what's coming out. Amen. So we need a willing mind. If thou seek him, the last verse. Well, let me go back to the center part of this verse. For the Lord searcheth all hearts and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts. If thou seek him, he will be found of thee.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01Remember what I said. This is your responsibility, this is up to you. But to lose all my amens. But if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off forever. I underline the last two words forever. Keep the fear of God before my eyes. Amen. So if something else shows up, I can change the channel, amen, or change the situation with what I have just read. Praise God. Number 16. I want to combine these two verses. Numbers chapter 16 and verse 28. And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works. And underline this last part, Numbers 16, verse 28. For I have not done them of my own mind. Amen. I think that's a good idea. Well, let's look into this. Amen. See if something needs to be rethought. Or just literally just trashed. Start all over. As I said, the devil comes knocking, and he'll just like he did to Jesus. Amen. They did it to Jesus. You and I were not gonna get away with it. Amen. Devil showed up, he knew Jesus was hungry. After 40 days, anybody would be hungry. You're hungry? Make some bread. Who's talking? Does it sound like my God? Does it sound like my King James Bible? Does it sound like what thus saith the Lord? Or does it sound like you know the enemy? We need to decide. Jesus didn't call his lifeline, he didn't call 911, call his disciples, he was ready. Amen. And I'm gonna read, I think, one or two more passages, and then I'm gonna ask you the question: are you ready? I can ask it now. Let's go in the New Testament, the book of Acts. I may as well ask the question now. Are you ready? Is your mind ready? Is your mind willing? I'm trying to generate some amens, but if I gotta preach another half hour to get those amens up and running, I'll do that. Make sure that we are all ready, and I appreciate everybody listening. Our pastors are with us from Africa. Praise God. There's new names on the board. Thank you so much for tuning in. Trust you, I have a Bible. We're about to read from Acts chapter 17. And I'm gonna read the 11th verse. Are you ready? Talking about a group of folks. These were more noble, Acts 17, verse 11, than those in Thessalonica, in that they received, someone say receive, they received the word with all readiness of mind. In other words, let's consider what was just read. In other words, when I'm done preaching, whatever, a few minutes from now, we don't turn off the broadcast and say it's about time my chocolate bunny is melting. Go ahead and enjoy your chocolate bunny or your whatever, your chocolate, because it's chocolate Sunday, basically. I'll call it chocolate Sunday. But consider what was read for the good of your soul. Consider what the being led of the Holy Ghost, consider what the what page the Bible was open on and mark it. Earmark it, I think that's what they call it. Make an earmark, fold the corner over. It's the word that's holy, not the paper. So if you need to underline things or highlight things with different colors and texts and put a star on the margin, go ahead and do that. Like I said, underline forever. What are we talking about? God will cast you away forever. I'll underline forever. Make sure I consider that. Are you ready to receive what God has for you and I today? In all readiness of mind, I come to church, I need to be ready. I don't sit there while the pastor's preaching, thinking tomorrow I can't forget, I gotta write eggs on my grocery list. Gotta get the little yogurt packs for school tomorrow. Can't go on the way home. I gotta remember. Preacher's standing there yelling till he's blue in the face, and you're figuring out your grocery list. God forbid that's not any of you. Amen. If you're guilty, well, say pray for me, Pastor, and I'll pray for you. Amen. I catch myself doing it. I'm not saying my mind's better than your mind. Same gray matter. It has to do with how we I second verse, Psalm chapter one. Meditate day and night, be blessed. That's like the short version. Blessed is the man, and he shall meditate upon his God's law day and night. Be blessed. No room from the devil. Amen. Devil comes knocking, no vacancy. Amen. Go somewhere else. Praise God. This I want you to get the vision of what these people had. They're they are being um, what's the word I'm looking for? This group of people they're being mentioned in a good way. Amen. They're they're being brought up. They are a subject of verse 11 of Acts chapter 17 for how they would receive the word of God. This is cue for Sister Linda who's listening. To go, I'm so happy it's Sunday. I love Sundays. I'm getting ready to receive. Amen. Praise God. Make sure my ears are open so the word goes in and it sinks in and it stays in and makes it way, makes its way to my heart. Praise God. This is not just something that isn't passing. And I thank God for this technology because I go home, and in about an hour from now, I'm gonna be on my way home, and I'd have forgotten most of what I said in French because now I'm in English, and I'll have by the time I get home, I'll forgotten most of what I preached in English. I need to play this program again. I'm gonna do it because I wouldn't do it if you were sitting in front of me, but I'm gonna do it for the folks online. By show of emoji hands, how many of you have never replayed a preaching program? You can be flustered, or well, I can't see a thing, I can't see nothing. But if some of you are on and say, Yeah, I listen to you on Sundays, but then I don't tune in for another six and a half days or seven days until the next Sunday. I don't know about you, but I need the preaching. This day. I need the preaching of the word so that I may be a vessel that is meet for the master's use. Man of God stood before, he stood before a man, highly decorated war veteran, stood before him, and God said, next. Okay, God, yeah. Man of God is standing there. Okay, somebody else. Meat for the master's use. God is sitting there, next. Number three, next. Next. Who is meat for the master's use? They may have shown up with intention. Oh, I can wear a crown, I can decree, I can write a law. Not exactly what God intended. Not exactly what God's folks, what God's people needed to hear. Thank God today we're not found on the reject pile. Where God, God's messenger, are passing you by. It's not gonna end up well. God is looking for someone to use. And here, when I finish the verse, they're in readiness of mind, they search the scriptures daily whether these things were so. They it was their responsibility. Is he preaching right? Let's check. Hey, did he just read that right? Let's check. You've got every page. I don't have more pages than you have. And I don't have less. So when I call out a chapter and call out a verse, you can verify. Is it worth going back to? For the saving, for the good of your soul, yes. Amen. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily. Whether these things were so. Second Corinthians chapter 8. I'm gonna read the 19th verse. Praise God. Sorry for my throat that's not surviving, but praise God. Verse 19, chapter 8, 2 Corinthians. And not only that, I'm gonna ask you the question before I read. Are you ready? And not only that, and not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord and declaration of your ready mind. Paul is saying here, we can preach to you because your mind is ready to receive it. We can send the man of God who is assisting, who is helping, who is on his way because your mind is ready to receive it. You declared, say, we're ready, send the man of God. We're ready, start the preaching. We're ready, let's open up the word of God. We're ready, let's let's thank, thank God, my ears are open to receive, my ears are open to hear something. All we need is a preacher to be sent. Amen. Are you ready? This is the question I'm asking. Are you ready? Is your mind ready? The mind which was also when we when we can when we can read what God has given us as far as our um our source is concerned, what we need. If you you're on your way to the library, you go to the library because you you want to find do some research, you're looking for some books. When I open up the Bible, I'm looking to find out. I wanted I need to discover what the mind of God is for me today. I need to find out what is the will of God in my life. And then I look at examples. The Bible doesn't hide anything. Some folks are messed up, some folks get their life right with God, some folks perish in their mess. The Bible's not hiding, the God is transparent. Amen. It gives us a good idea of what of God's expectations for you and I. Amen. And this year the apostles writing saying, Well, we come and we preach. Remember, Paul said, I preach unto you Christ and Him crucified. You have people today trying to figure this thing out on their own, looking for a um for some counseling or a piece of advice that is going to tickle their ears or satisfy the the longing of their flesh. Amen. God, for this is what this is what we we cannot back ourselves away, or we can't back down from sanctification from a gospel from a message of holiness. Amen. Last week we ended in Philippians chapter 4, verses 7 and 9, which talked about the peace of God. And then two verses later in verse 9, we have we received the God of peace. Amen. When you go into the book of Hebrews, the writer in Hebrew said, follow peace. Who's doing that in the world today? They lie to you. They sit there and say Islam is a religion of peace. No, it's not. You're mistranslating the word Islam itself. May sound in your language, it may sound close to the word peace, but it doesn't mean peace. There is no peace without Jesus Christ. Because Ephesians chapter 2 said he came to make peace, so making peace, for he is our peace. And then he preached peace because he is peace. And without him, we do not have peace. So when the writer in Hebrews said, Follow peace with all men and holiness, for without such no man shall see the Lord. This is a commandment. And this commandment is written to those that have eyes to see, and they're reading. And then I'll summarize. Peter writes 2 Peter 3, 2, that ye may be mindful of the words. Underline the word mindful. You may um, I want you to understand exactly what the meaning behind this is. You consider the words. You pay attention to the words that we that we have read so far, that we are reading. Amen. You are uh you are observant, amen, to the words. Show some respect. Amen. People show up, say, well, this was not translated, it's not written properly. This is old English, this is all the show some respect for the authoritative word of God. When I read three days and three nights, show some respect to what Jesus established prophetically, it hadn't taken place yet. Jesus was prophesying as a son of God, prophesying resurrection. Because there's so many religions today, including Islam. He may have died, but that was it. Did Jonah make his way out of the the whale, the great fish's belly? Or did he die in there?
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01He made his way out. It's not a trick question. Read Jonah, four chapters. Quick read this week. He made his way out. So when Jesus was taking care of a business in the heart of the earth, he made his way out. Walked out of the grave and he said, I have the keys of death and hell, for I have defeated Satan and Lucifer. I have set it just like he said he would. I have come to set at liberty. He walked out of the grave after three days and three nights. He walked out of the grave and says, I have set at liberty the captives. And some folks were captive for a very long time. Being recognized in the streets in that those few hours of darkness because the sun began didn't shine. Who's that walking? Didn't we just lay him to rest? Didn't we just lay her to rest? And the devil, because he's a thief, stole, but thank God that Jesus set at liberty. Amen. Again, prophesying what thus saith the Lord. Pay attention to what you read. This is not a bedtime story. Amen. This is not a script for a new Hollywood film, a new Hollywood movie. This is not a script for a play that's going to take place on the stage in your church. All these things, they tickle the ears of the flesh. And then when someone is holy enough, manned of God enough to stand in the gap, he's disregarded or she's disregarded. They're taking it too far. Yeah, you better believe I'm taking this. I'm taking this all the way to heaven. If you think it's too far, well, good luck with where you're going or where you're gonna end up. You make fun of me, oh, you're taking it too far. You better believe heaven's a long way off from where I stand right now. And I'll take this all the way as far as I've got to take this because Jesus is in me, because Jesus is with me, because Jesus is my shepherd, and he leads me to where I need to go. He makes me lie down to where I need to lie down. He brings me to a pastor where I need to eat. And this is good pastor where I am today. With what we are being served with today, that you may be mindful. I pay attention to what I'm reading because it's for the good of my soul, it's for my eternal salvation, it's so that I may know Jesus Christ in the forgiveness of my sins, because his blood was shed as a redeemer. Hallelujah. Someone say thank you, Jesus. That ye may be mindful, 2 Peter 3, 2. I'm gonna pray in a couple of minutes. That ye may be mindful of the words. I underline those of the words, someone say the words. This is what's important. The words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and you know I have to underline the word holy just because it's there, holy. Amen. Ah, there is only one holy, Jesus Christ. Well, where'd the holy prophets come from? Inspired by the Spirit of God, written by holy man, where'd the holy man come from? Careful what you read. Live by every word which proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Some folks they don't mind John 3.16, but when you keep reading, either way, either direction. They don't become the favorite or most often used passages in religion. I threw some scriptures out last week, trying to remember what I've said first uh first John 2.1, first John three, seven and eight. Um the last verse, Matthew chapter five. Uh, first Corinthians seven is it, having therefore this ministry, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Two back-to-back words, perfecting in holiness, omitted. They're in the lost and found box in the church. Actually, I should say lost but not found. Lost sight of things which pertain unto godliness. Doesn't matter where they have graduated from, it's not so complicated to open this book and begin to read and say, God, I need to. Sometimes we call it implant, but in an impartation is a King James word. Planting is a biblical word as well, it's a King James word. In my heart and in my soul. So that I can, with a readiness of mind, I can be verifying the scriptures because I get told all kinds of things, especially the technology that we have these days. You can Google something and get 53,700 and whatever answers in 0.45 tenths of a second. Now comes the fun part. Okay, what is true and what is not true? What do I believe and what do I not believe? Amen. I asked ChatGTP, I think it was last week. I said, as a Bible-believing Christian, should I worry about C9? She wrote back and said, No, nothing to worry about. It's gonna protect you. So I started another argument with ChatGPT. She's well, yeah, there are certain clauses that Christians may be concerned about. I said, Okay, here we go. I'm gonna dig into this, see what side, you know, what side Chat GPT is on or not. And even though at the end she goes, You really don't have to worry about it too much. She's almost starting to sound like she was human. I'm sitting there leaving the conversation, saying, You know what? I can depend on God and God alone. Thank God for his son, thank God for the Holy Ghost. You know what I mean. Praise God. The word of God. Because, like I said, we can be told things today in readiness of mind. When we read in Acts chapter 17, we need to be as those folks, more noble than the folks in that other church in Thessalonica. Bible in their hands. I was given a statistic this week saying in the in the New Testament era, there was only a 3% literacy rate. And I'm going, don't know how you figure that out. Because when I read the book of Acts, there's a lot of folks that are doing some reading. Where do they come up with these figures? Again, trying to discourage them. Oh, I got if they weren't reading, well, what do I have to read for? I'm here rebuking the devil, saying, no, no, no, no, no, no.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01I'm not going to argue the stat. But the fact is, when we read here, I mean, we're talking about multiple people that are using the scriptures in a readiness of mind. Maybe they learned to read in a hurry. Spent their time investing in the eternal blessings of God, investing in God in the God's eternity which He has offered you and I. That ye may be mindful. Show up. Be attentive. As soon as this program's over, hit the replay button. I don't know how much French you know, but some folks, I see their names on the French side. I don't know if he's on the board. Peter was listening. I see Barbara listening on the French. Sister Emily. I've seen her name on the French. Side listening. Randy. I've seen Randy. How much do you understand? Thank God for the spirit of the living God. Slightly different language, but I can follow along in English. I get so much time in English, but I could use a little more, even if it's in French.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01The word of God is the word of God. Allow God's Spirit to do a work in your mind and in your heart. And see, praise God, like I said, don't when they sit there and say, well, yeah, you've taken it a little bit too far. Well, yeah, I've got a long ways to go yet. Not there yet. Like my brother White say, before he went to be with God, with the Lord, my brother White, he would say, There's no prize for the halfway runner. Now in Christ, he's waiting for recompense. He's waiting for his prize. Amen. As far as I could see, he ran, he ran his race, finished his course, and now there is set for him a crown of righteousness. Because he could stand. Couldn't read like you and I, but he could stand in the presence of God, in the presence of his brothers and sisters, and sit there and remind me when I was just a teenager, no prize for a halfway runner. So I kept running till I was no longer a teenager. Kept running till I was no longer in my 20s, no longer in my 30s, still running, no longer in my 40s. Ran throughout my 50s. Now I'm running in my 60s. Because a man of God could stand, I mean, just for he would sit where Kenny is sitting. That's where he'd sit, right? And he'd stand up. No prize for the halfway runner. Soft voice, you'd have to be attentive. You'd have to pay attention. Couldn't be distractive. Couldn't be distracted rather when he would speak. And because of that, because of the reminders which we are given, which we read to, I'm gonna pray in two minutes. I know I think I already said that, but stand, that will remind me that I'm gonna pray in two minutes. Amen. The words which were spoken, be mindful. This is not just in and out. Is he done preaching yet? In and out. Be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior. Praise God. I I know you probably read this verse before I was able to finish it. Thank God for the apostle and the preacher that was sent to preach. The teacher that was sent to teach. Amen. If you don't stand, I'm just gonna keep preaching. So go okay, go ahead. Okay, nobody's standing yet. Amen. Just somebody remind me. I just like to, when I say two minutes, man. Two minutes. I don't want to go into discussion saying, Do you know what two minutes is? Yeah, I know what two minutes is. 120 seconds. Sometimes I need a little more time. So Peter is writing here saying, Here we are, the apostles, and there's things that have been written. There's epistles, there's um God's word, which is before our eyes. And Paul is saying here in 2 Peter 3, verse 2, he says, I want you to be mindful of what has been spoken, the words which have been spoken, the commandments which you have received as from the apostles. Praise God. Next week, we're gonna, we didn't, I didn't make it, I had a note to make it. Next week we're gonna look into how our mind is fixed, how my mind is made up, and more than likely that's gonna be the subtitle a made-up mind. And this is going to again strengthen us and fortify um who we are in Christ, having received what is anchored in our souls, in our hearts, and in our minds. Sufficient for the day. Praise God, to make it unto the end. Praise God. You may as well stand because I'm gonna pray. Father in heaven, Lord, I thank God for the word which we have received today. Lord, I thank God for ears that have been open to hear. Some of it was chastising. But I thank God for your love. Amen, which you have proven for each and every one of us today. Because we felt the chastisement. Thank God for my young brothers and sisters. They may have a day off, some time to spend in the Word of God, but once they hit this, it's like the last semester of school, I believe it is. The last few weeks of school, praise God, pray protection, pray that their mind they may be protected. Whatever is being discussed, whatever is being taught contrary to the word of God. We know we'll men are students as well on this side. We'll sit there and say, That's not what I heard preached, that's not what I read in my Bible, that's not what thus saith the Lord. Man can go on and say whatever they want. To say, but thank God God said it first. Amen. There was no man, there was no devil spoke a word before God spoke it. God's first, preeminent. Amen. The prompt the the prominent in our lives. Above all, above all things that we have received today, and we will be mindful. Lord, I pray this into the hearts and minds of every single listener today. Mindful, we will meditate, we'll recite, we'll repeat. We'll learn it by heart. No pun intended. We'll learn this by it'll be in our hearts, it'll be in our minds. Because we will consider the importance of your word, we will consider the importance of obedience. Jesus' name. At the same time, we'll consider the severity of disobedience, which we have received, which we have even touched on today. If there's someone today looking, seeking for you, that you be found of them by them for all of eternity. This is not just a trial run. This is not just something that lasts for a weekend or for a day or two or for a season. Praise God. May each and every one of us listening today make this an eternal decision in Jesus' name to serve you with a pure heart and a willful mind. As we have read with the examples of those who did and those who didn't. But today I pray that every single person within the sound of my voice has that heart which is pure, has that mind which is willing, so that your will be done, so that your will be established upon the face of this earth. Father in heaven, in Jesus' name, Lord, I pray that the blessings of your word, the blessings of your promises be in our lives this week. Well, until Jesus comes, despite the legalities of whatever law they want to pass, whatever government sits and structures, whatever issues they have to deal with, we are serving you and serving you alone. Father in heaven, I bless my brothers and sisters listening on the other side of this technology. Praise God, Nova Scotia, south of the border, the saints in Newfoundland, the church in Renby, north of Lake Ontario, sisters joining us here in Quebec, Saskatchewan, wherever you may be, in Alberta, North, South, and Central, praise God, right here before my eyes. I bless each and every one of my brothers and sisters. And those listening are brothers and sisters in Africa, the same thing. Folks listening, maybe didn't comment. I don't know where you may be listening from. On radio, you're listening to different states: Ohio, California, Kentucky, New York, Connecticut, um, Washington, different states in Canada. Praise God. Carolinas, that's where it's North and South Carolina, folks listening. Father, in Jesus' name, whoever's listening right now, our arms uh, our our arms are outstretched, our hands are being raised, and we pray, praise God, for the the blessing which belongs to our family, to those calling upon you right now, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Lord, I thank God for the words spoken, the words read, your word spoken, your word read, making a difference in our lives today and forever. We have we're we are enriched, we're well fed, we are we are well, we are nourished. Praise God. The word of God spoken as seed has found its way into good ground, and it's making a difference in our lives. Father in heaven, in Jesus' name, a root that grows downward as fruit grows upward. Thank God for that holy man of God that prophesied this, and it can be seen in our lives. There's not a shortage, there's not a famine of the word of God. We stand in your storehouse, and there is meat, and we are thankful for it. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen and amen. Praise God. Hands are up. Say, God, amen. I want to be mindful. Let me tell God I want my mind to be ready. Praise God. Thank God I was ready to receive today. I'm ready to continue by reading, by replaying. It's up to you. The decision, as I said again, are you ready? If you're not, get ready. Do what you need to be ready. It's your responsibility. I can encourage, I can ask, I can push, I can yell to the best of my ability today. Trying to get your attention, but you need to decide. And as I prayed for your mind and as I prayed for your heart, this is what can make a difference in whoever you are listening. No man, no woman shall perish. This is God's will. God doesn't want to see you in eternal damnation. There's a place prepared for you. You just it's your decision, your call before it's too late. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Thank God for his forgiveness. Thank God for his mercy. Thank God for his grace making a difference in your life. Thank God for the blessing that we have today. We know what to think on. Give us a willing mind so that we can meditate. Think on those things, praise God, which are lovely, honest, true, good report, praise God. Pure. Amen. The one I forgot. If there be any virtue, lovely, I was missing pure. If there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think upon these things. And the God of peace shall be. There's the promise. Amen. Whenever we are given a commandment, it's always followed by a promise. So when you read Philippians chapter 48, verse, think on these things. Why should I? And the God of peace. You want the God of peace in your life? It's right here. Open up the word of God. Be mindful to what you read. Uh, rather be um uh yes, be mindful, keep in mind what you're reading, read it with caution, read it with um respect and observance, be attentive, be careful, read it to the saving of your souls. Praise God. What you think matters, praise God. Give yourself something really, really holy, pure, lovely, honest to think about. Praise God. Thank God for his word today. My name is Lincoln. You're listening to That's the Truth. Thank you so much for your time that you spent with us here today from Montreal.
