WHAT YOU THINK MATTERS - 6 - Romans 12:2 - The Renewing Of Your Mind
A carnal mind comes naturally, but is enmity with God. To be born again means a new mind along with new thoughts! Directly from the word of God we find out that the renewing of our mind means we have the same mind from the same source; the will of God according to his word. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus! Get your Bible, listen, and be blessed…

My name is Lincoln. Thanks for joining me once again. You're listening to That's the Truth. Coming right up is the audio recording of one of our live stream services from the House of God here in Montreal. You can watch the video recording on our Facebook page, Linked with God. That's L-I-N-K-E-D with God. Or you can head on over to our YouTube channel, That's the Truth. If you have trouble finding that page, go to youtube.com, enter That's the Truth in the search bar, click on the filter button, which you'll see a little lower to the left of the search bar, then click on the channel button where you'll see the Bible icon that identifies our channel, That's the Truth. And that should appear right on top of the list. Click on the Bible icon where you'll then have access to all of our teachings on video. Please share these links with your friends and family so they too can be blessed with the word of God as you are receiving it right now. This is how you can help me preach the gospel of Christ, salvation for this generation. Well, let's get right to it. Get your Bibles. There's a lot to read because God has a lot to say to us directly from the Word of God. You're listening to That's the Truth. Hallelujah. Give the Lord a good hand clap. Everyone claps, everyone makes some noise. God's not done, I'm not done. Amen. The Bible says that everyone, everything that hath breath, praise Ye the Lord. I'm breathing, I'm alive, I'm well, I'm in the hands of God. Hallelujah, I'm where I should be. I'm in my right mind. Praise God. I woke up to do what God wants us to do, to be a praise, to be a glory, to be an honor unto Him. Hallelujah! Praise God. I trust everyone at home. Our pastors are with us all the way from Africa, but I trust everyone that is at home is rejoicing and making a noise. See, the Bible says to make a joyful noise. Amen. So that kind of kind of tells me that a joyful noise just doesn't happen. I can't go to Walmart to buy a joyful noise. Amen. I don't care how many times they roll back. What do they do? They roll back or something. The prices, Walmart, amen. It might might make my budget a little more joyful, but it doesn't matter. I can't go to a store. I can't go to a hardware store and excuse me, can I have a package of joyful noise? No, that comes from you and I. Amen. This is not manufactured artificially, and AI, I don't, it doesn't matter how um it responds to whatever we put out there. Amen. This comes from inside. Hallelujah. Praise God. A sister sent me a text this morning and she's online listening on YouTube. She said, The joy of the Lord is my strength. Amen. The more I meditate on that verse, the more I get it. Amen. The more I know that, praise God, we have to have a smile, we have to have something on the inside of us that is joyful. Praise God. See, the Bible says to serve the Lord with gladness. So we can't be serving the Lord with religion, with denomination. We can't serve the Lord with sadness. Amen. The Bible says to serve the Lord with gladness. So I thank God that we can enter into his courts, we can come through his gate, amen, with the thanksgiving and with the praise that we ought to have. Praise God. Amen. I thank God for our holy sister singing. That's not what makes me happy. Amen. It'll encourage us, it'll sit there and say, Well, it's music, it's a time to clap, it's a time to shout, it's a time to jump, it's a time to leave, it's a time. That gives us that indication. But I came to God's house already happy. Amen. I already came. You know, some people show up, oh, she's not singing my song, and then they get sad. Amen. Or it's the wrong person preaching or the wrong person drumming, then he gets sad. No, I come in, praise God, with a sacrifice already to serve God. When you read the last chapter in the book of Hebrews, we are taught, we are told, we are understood that it is the fruit of our lips giving thanks unto God as we offer the sacrifice, sacrifice of praise continually unto Him. Praise God. That's who we are in Christ. I'm gonna read the second to the last verse in Psalm chapter 40. It says, Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee. Let such as love thy salvation say continually, the Lord be magnified. Praise God. So if you're listening for the first time and you're wondering, saying, Well, what are they doing? Why are they making noise? Or why are they singing? Why is there uh I don't know, I I lost count of the clapping hands emojis that are floating up the comment section. Praise God. And I know you're doing the best you can in your household or in your kitchens or living rooms, wherever, wherever you're listening. By the way, I welcome every one of you. And for those of you listening, since most of you probably are not aware, but been working on this for a long time. But if you have a Google Android phone, the iPhone app is coming. But our app is we're live streaming on our app for the first first day in the history of the church. So if you have a Google iPhone, brother will send, brother, our pastor Kevin will put the link up in the in the Facebook comments if you're listening on Facebook. And I think the link can go to YouTube as well if somebody can get it up there. And you can download the That's the Truth app. So there's over three. I I can't look at it because I'm on an iPhone, I'm an Apple guy. So I need more patient. We need more patience. It's coming to an Apple iPhone soon. But today we're live streaming, and apparently it's up and running. You just go onto the app and you'll see whatever there is to see. And there's over 300 videos and 300 audio sermons in the in the archives that you can listen to. And apparently it sounds good and it looks good and it's all good. I've only seen picture snapshots. So the um, if you're happy on Facebook, if you like commenting, if it's too many distractions on social media, go to the app. That's the truth. You can download it in um where do they download it? The Google Google Play? Play store Play Store? That's what it's called now? The Google Play Store or something like that. Anyways, you'll find it. But if you're hearing me right now, you don't have to touch anything because you've got something that's working and we can go back to praising God. Hallelujah. So there that there's that announcement that I had to remember and get that get that over with. And you can share it too. Share the app. Some people don't do Facebook, they don't want to go on YouTube and such. Now you can go to the app and um and be blessed in that way. So it's one more way that our brothers and sisters and folks can be fed and that this ministry can be found. And you can help by sharing this link. You can help by sharing and thumbs up and get the algorithms and um working in our favor, praise God. Especially because we're gonna we're about to pray in about two minutes, and that's important. Amen. I know the preaching of the word of God, this is what feed feeds us, give us this day our daily bread. Praise God. So we need to be fed. And uh, for those of you, I think most of you are back for a second portion. We've already, we already, um we already were well fed, and we did eat well on the French side, praise God, and here we are in a different language, and but we're getting ready to go into the word of God, we're getting ready to receive. So I'm gonna pray as I always do, that your ears will be open to hear, that your eyes will be open to see, and that your heart will be open to receive and to perceive what the what the what God has in store for us today. Praise God. Just before I came out, I prayed, amen, that the Holy Ghost will lead us and guide us into all truth, amen. And the word of God that I will speak, it will find its way into good ground. Praise God, amen. Speak God's word, it's never spoken again in vain, amen. If we were to repeat what God has already said, amen. I've said this so many times, you can't go wrong. Open up the Bible and just repeat what God has said, thus say it the Lord. Read, amen. Whatever the prophets, holy men, holy women that wrote, amen, that were inspired to speak, were inspired to, yeah, rather inspired to act and do what um God uh ordained them to do. Praise God. Amen. We close the year 2025 going into 2026 with a series called Report for Duty. And uh for God, God gave us, um, I mean, God doesn't do something for nothing. So when God made Adam, he just didn't make Adam just uh run around the earth like a dog or like a cat or like a giraffe. I mean, he gave gave he gave uh God made Adam in his image, by the way, and we're gonna read some scriptures on this, but God made Adam, I'm starting with Adam because he was the first first man made. So and God made Adam to tend the garden. Amen. And when he gave his helpmate, helpmate rather, when he gave when Eve showed up, and he says, now the two of you you need to multiply. Amen. So there they were, they they had it, there was a responsibility for them to do, praise God, and that's why God created them. I'm here with the responsibility, and if I don't do it, well, Jesus said there might be some stones, it might be some rocks that will take your place, and I wouldn't want that. Praise God, amen. So I'm glad today that I have my health, I have my breath, because I already quoted, let everything that have breath, praise ye the Lord, and we can do, we can fill this place with praise, amen. We can serve God in such a way that it doesn't just bounce off the ceiling board, amen, but it goes past the ceiling, it goes past the roof, it goes higher than the heavens. Praise God. Whatever the whatever we are uh the Bible teaches us to do, we can do it. Praise God. So we have a lot to be thankful for, we have a lot to bless God for what for what he has done. Praise God, amen. As his creation, amen. There's expectations tonight to look up and um uh a few few minutes depending on what time zone you're listening in. But apparently after sun, about 30 minutes after sunset, we can look up and we're gonna see Venus in line with the moon, in line with some other uh constellation of stars and such. Apparently, it's supposed to be a good evening, but it's not yet sunset, praise God, and it's already a good evening, amen. It's already a good day, for this is the day which the Lord hath made. Amen. We shall rejoice, praise God, amen. I don't mind the creation, but I'm here to up to serve the creator, to uplift Jesus Christ. Amen. In him there is nothing made that was not made, and I thank God tonight, praise God to be made a new creature. 2 Corinthians 5 17. Amen. If you're you be in Christ, any man, any woman be in Christ, amen. You are a new creature. Praise God. Old things are passed away. Put your hands up, let's rejoice. Amen. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. And I thank God tonight, praise God, that we can we we can be uh we can acknowledge, and we can have this recognition, amen. There's people walking, hundreds, thousands, millions of people walking the face of this earth, and they don't know who they are. Amen. They can honor their mom and dad earthly, their earthly mom and dad. They can and some people even question why am I here? Amen. Why what are we doing here? Where'd we come from? Praise God. That's why we need the Bible, amen. That's why I can hold up, amen. This this is not just a reference, praise God. This is not some historical document and just some dead letters. Praise God, this is words of spirit and of life. Praise God. So let's be thankful, Father in heaven. All the praise, all the glory, all the honor, as we lift you up, as we lift up, praise God, the our creator, our maker today. For you so love this world that you gave your only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth, whosoever calleth on the name of Jesus Christ shall be saved. They shall not perish. And we thank God for your love which you have displayed, which you have shown us. We are thankful, praise God, today for the anointing. We are thankful that today, amen, knowing that you have uh set apart a generation, you have made a choice amongst the people, amongst the nations, and we today we can serve you and give you praise and glory and honor. That you made a way for us out of our sin. You made a way for us through your Son Jesus Christ and the work that was accomplished on Calvary. You made a way for us today, praise God, that we can there is atonement for our sins, that we can have, amen, a we can call upon a savior, we can call upon a redeemer, we can rejoice today because our lives have been changed. You brought us out of darkness over into your marvelous light. You took us out of sin, praise God, over into holiness. You took us out of, amen, the the whatever depression and anxiety, whatever sickness and sorrow that we have. Your son Jesus Christ took it and nailed it to the cross. And I thank God it's there to stay today. That we can we can testify of this like a living stone, like a that because there is life in us. We can make all the difference, giving you the praise, the glory, and the honor today, to show that the devil is a liar, to show, praise God, that there is one way which leadeth unto you, and that's through Jesus Christ, uh, through your Son, making intercession for us today. And we are thankful, praise God, not only for work accomplished on Calvary, but for what is being the work which is being done right now as our intercessor, as our mediator today, praise God. I thank God for the word of God which is about to come forth in the teaching and in the preaching. May it be anointed, may our eyes be open to see, may our ears be open to hear, may our hearts be open to receive and perceive what thus what you have to say to us, what thus saith the Lord, thank God for your Holy Ghost that will lead us and guide us into all truth, making a way for us, praise God, as we get ready, hallelujah, as we have been uh for years, uh, as we get ready to endure unto the end, for the same shall be saved. And I thank God it doesn't matter what our eyes see around us, your word is still true, your word is still immutable, your word is still immovable. And I thank God today that we can stand uh, amen, on such promise, praise God, we can stand on such a rock, then the gates of hell shall not prevail against it today, praise God. Amen. I thank God for the victory which belongs to my brothers and sisters, for the victory, praise God, to our uh to our brothers and sisters in Africa, in Porto Novo, in Kotonu, in Kindia, in Banco, in K in Kibia, in I I thank God today and others who are listening, praise God, across this nation, whatever province they may be in, whatever state they are in, south of the border, I thank God today that we are anxious and that we are ready to receive, to open up uh the word of God today and to receive as we ask, give us this day our daily bread. Father in heaven, I thank God for the blessing. Praise God that we're not only serving a risen Christ, a risen Savior, but he is also our healer by his stripes. He is also our peace because he was chastised. He is up, amen. We that he was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. And here we stand today, praise God, having having received not only Jesus Christ, but having received power to become a daughter and power to become a son of God today, praise God. In Jesus' name, I give you all the praise and I give you all the glory. So if there's anyone, whatever our health conditions may be, whatever the case is, we have the victory by his stripes. We are healed in Jesus' name, praise God. I pray for my brothers and sisters. They're not they're they're not walking in the freedom and the liberty that we have. They're in prison, they're behind bars. Touch Chad, touch uh my brother uh Jordan in Jesus' name, praise God, may they receive a mind to continue to serve you, the opposition that is rising up against them. I rebuke it now in Jesus' name. Touch their families as well, praise God, amen. Touch my brother Rupert, amen. All my brothers and sisters that they have a mind, amen, to be serving you. Touch Thomas, touch Lacey. And we're in the behind in the in the in the system that is that it that restrains them. But I thank God that there's in there's enough uh, praise God, for the time and enough. They have the ability to read the word of God and to be and to be lights that will shine in the darkness as well, praise God. If they be listening right now, may the Spirit of God find their way into your into their cell where they're at. Give them peace, uh, surround them, praise God, with peace. Jesus, you came to make peace, make peace where they are, make peace in that hospital room, make peace in that jail cell, make peace amongst the nations, make peace amongst our leaders. In Jesus' name, praise God. Hallelujah for the victory. Praise God. Pray for our new Quebec leader uh in Jesus' name. I'm not even sure of the name, but somebody somebody's new is our is our premier. Praise God. Amen. May they hand in a direction that will be favorable for you, favorable for the church, favorable for the to the household of God, for the nation of Jesus Christ, and not looking at everything else and whatever concerns and whatever influences that may be in this world. But may there be a man or a woman in the Senate, in the White House, in our parliament, in this, in this, in the systems, in the in the mayor systems, in the school systems, in the education system that will think just to say, maybe I'm gonna read the Bible today. Maybe there's something in store for me through God's word. Instead of wanting to take away, rip out some pages, open it. Praise God in Jesus' name and read what thus saith the Lord, praise God, and see God make a difference in your life. All the praise and the glory and the honor goes to you at this moment, at this time. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen and amen. Praise God. Blessed be his holy name. Thank you, Jesus. Praise God. If you if you agree with what I have prayed, say amen. All the saints of God, all the children of God, everyone says, Amen and amen. No matter where you're at, praise God, say amen. Maybe you're maybe you're halfway through supper. Put the fork down, put your hands up. Praise God, and say amen. Blessed be the name of the Lord. To God be the glory, amen. The praise and the honor goes to him in Jesus' name. Praise God. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Hallelujah. I'm not dead on my sins and trespasses. Praise God. Hallelujah. Thank God for what was accomplished on Calvary because God sent. Amen. Why did God send? Because God loved. Praise God. Amen. Blessed be his holy name. Praise God. Keep your hands up. I'm going to find something to read, which is a blessing. Praise God. It's going to be in the King James Bible, that's for sure. Don't stop praying on my account. Give you something to rejoice about. Romans chapter 5, the verse, the eighth verse. But God commendeth his love toward us. I just asked the question. Why did he send? Because he loved us. Amen. How or when? In that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Make it personal. Christ died for me. Amen. Praise God. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Amen. I'm so glad he didn't wait for me to show up, wait for me to do something. Or I showed up in 1962. Lots of stuff happened. Amen. From Calvary until 1962. But right now I can walk in God's goodness. Amen. I can walk in as a part as a partaker of the promises of God. Amen. So I thank God for that. Praise God. Amen. Put your hands together and clap unto the Lord. Make a little bit of noise in your kitchens, in your living room where you're listening. Maybe some of you are just like laid out in bed with the television on, watching. Move. Make some noise. Clap your hands. Put a hand up. Thank God for saving me. Thank you, God, for sending your son. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Rejoice in the Lord. Say again, rejoice in the Lord. Hallelujah. Bless it be his holy name. Hallelujah. All that is done. For me. Oh my soul. Father. Hallelujah. Thank the Lord. Everyone saying, thank the Lord for saving me. Praise God, amen. When I think of his goodness. Hallelujah. All that is done for me. Put a smile on your face. Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank the Lord. For saving me. I thank the Lord. Praise God. Be thankful. Amen. I thank the Lord. Hallelujah. For saving. Saving me, praise God. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Well, not just one or two. Everyone clap for you. Be seated in the Lord. At home, the same thing.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_00Amen. Amen. Some of you sitting there saying, We just finished clapping, and you're asking us to clap again. Amen. Is not the Lord worthy? Amen. I mentioned something, and I don't use that term lightly, but I mentioned something that took place on Calvary. Amen. That we that we that we that we recognize and we become um supportive would be a good word, uh demonstrative, demonstrat you know, to demonstrate what took place on on Calvary. Thank God for that. Praise God. But um, there's a lot more to it. Amen. I know some people deny resurrection, they deny um crucifixion or what took place in the grave, or but I thank God today that seated at the right hand of God, Jesus Christ makes intercession for us. So we need to be thankful, and we need to be grateful, and we need to understand that his work is not done. Praise God. I'm talking about Jesus Christ making intercession because the Bible teaches you and I that there is only one way to God. Amen. Someone say one way, and that way is Jesus Christ. So people think there's another way, there is no other way. Thank God for Jesus. Our intercession, not my Lord and Savior, thank God for that, my healer, my deliverer. Yes, all these things. Praise God. That Jesus Christ, by the will of his, by the will of God, by the will of his father in heaven, was was able to accomplish. And yet here he is today making intercession for us. Praise God. You got to get to know Jesus. Amen. And don't take my word for it. Certainly don't take the Pope's word for it. Amen. Get yourself a Bible, find out all about Jesus, amen. All about Jesus on your own. Praise God. I'm gonna read another scripture to you in um the tenth chapter of Romans. Sorry, Romans chapter 14, the 10th, uh, the 11th verse. Romans 14, verse 11. And uh it is written, as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Amen. As it is written, someone say, That's what's written. Amen. I want to say it, say it at home. That's what's written. Amen. I'm not making it up, this is not my imagination. Amen. See, and the Bible says that every every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. Amen. Praise God. We you need if you haven't done that yet, you need to do that now. Amen. See, this is Romans chapter 14. If you turn back two pages to Romans chapter 10, around the ninth and the tenth verse, it says you need to believe in your heart, you need to confess with your tongue. Amen. In in English, these scriptures are synchronized. I mean, you can't have one without the other. In French, there's a nuance, but not quite the same. When I quoted in French, you can see the difference in English right now. Confess, the word confess. Because this is a problem. Amen. People can curse and use that name on vain, but when it comes to confession, it's a whole different thing. I'm starting to lose some of my amens. Somebody better send up an amen emoji to replace the no amens I'm getting in front of me here. Amen. Sister Pam, I'll take an amen emoji from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Praise God. I'll take it from anywhere. Amen. Because it says, every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that he is Lord. But not every tongue is gonna confess he's Savior. Uh oh. See, when that day comes, and I mean it's not gonna end well for so many people, but when that day comes, Mohammed, the false prophet Muhammad, comes out of his grave and his knees will hit the ground, and he'll confess. You are the Lord. Amen. You are the risen king. Hallelujah. He hasn't done that yet, and he can't do it because he's rotting in the ground. All the dead popes, the same thing. Amen. When they go on their knees, there's somebody out, there's a there's a statue, there's an idol. You know, Mother Mary. You know, Joseph, whatever name they have. There's only one name. Acts chapter 4, is it verse 10 or verse 12, or those three verses? There is only one man, one name given to you and I. Amen. It's the devil that shows up with all these kinds of ideas. The religion of Islam, they don't have a savior because when you they they by reading or by believing whatever Muhammad wrote, or whoever wrote the the Quran, whatever versions you have, that God is not begotten and God does not beget. That's an English translation of the Quran. See, there's some problems here. Amen. Some problems with your God. Because I serve a God who has begotten his only son. Amen. His only begotten son. Amen. My God is a living God, and my God begot because he loved you and I. Amen. The prophet Ezekiel gave us the illustration where God looked down and he saw us in a field. We were polluted, still attached to our mother's nevel. We were reading scriptures last week. I'll read it again. I mean, this ought to get you saved and sanctified if you're listening and you're not. In Romans chapter 8, we're reading a lot of Romans, but Romans chapter 8 and the 6th verse 4 to be carnally minded is death. If you read the description online, a carnal mind comes naturally, it's natural. The Bible teaches us this. Amen. I was born with it. Thank mom and dad for the carnal mind. Amen. I was in flesh the day that the doctor, you know, grabbed me by the ankle and you know, put his laid his hands on my behind, make sure I'd start screaming. I felt it because I was in the flesh. That's how I was born in sin, short of the glory of God. Amen. But Jesus came, I already quoted the scripture in 2 Corinthians 5 17. I already quoted the scripture where Jesus came and so that we be made a new creature, that a change comes to pass. Amen. Jesus said ye must. This is not optional. He said ye must be born again. Amen. Well, I don't believe God made a hell to throw people in it. You're absolutely right. Amen. God didn't make a hell for his people, for you and I. God made a hell for the devil. Amen. He he was judged and failed, he's condemned for all of eternity, is what the Bible teaches us. So God made a place to chain those demons up once and for all. Amen. But if you don't do anything about it, coming on to the face of this earth, if you don't do anything about it, there is hell. People say, What do I need to do? If you do nothing, you go to hell. You need to repent. Oh, my pastor told me there's nothing for us to do. Oh, yeah, there is. You need to repent. You need to confess. Amen. You need to be. Jesus gave us a parable. He said, A man got down on his knees and he said, Father, be God be merciful unto me, a sinner. Amen. This wasn't very long. This is a short prayer, seven words, the seven most powerful words ever put together in a phrase, in a string. Be merciful unto me, a sinner. God be merciful. This is how, this is how when we recognize that we are in disobedience, in sin, and we need to come out of it. Amen. I already mentioned Adam when I was staying of the series from a few months ago, and you can find it online, where Adam was um, Adam and Eve, they were commissioned, they had a responsibility, and the devil came along, and Lucifer, the Bible says he was subtle and convinced them to do contrary-wise to what God had ordained. When God said, Don't touch. Not only did sin come into this world, but what follows sin? Death. And not only that, I picture Adam and Eve the next morning, they wake up, and I don't know if Adam asked Eve or if Eve asked Adam, hey, what's for breakfast? Uh uh. Uh we gotta make a garden. How long does it take for an apple to grow? Amen. How long does it take for what a tomato to grow? Whatever they were eating. Amen. This is the Garden of Eden was buffet style, except for one dish. Don't touch that tree. Thus saith the Lord. I don't know what they had to do to prepare, but they just walk around and partake. This is the goodness of God. This was God's intention from the very beginning, from the start. Now they find themselves outside of the garden, cursed because of their sin, the ground is cursed, because of their sin, the womb is cursed. Amen. God is held true to his word. And now the abundance of God is not there. They're looking around saying, Oh, well, there's some weeds over here. Wonder what it's like to uh chew on a dandelion leaf. A big difference from being in the garden where God would come down to the cool in the shade of the evening, in the cool of the evening to visit. And now we're out in no man's land. Filthy devil. Amen. Lying serpent. Amen. Don't blame God. Oh, well, God removed them out of the garden. God put them there in the first place. And there were rules and conditions in order to stay. You don't follow them? Well, God says, nah, you're not living here anymore. In fact, nope, not your children, not your children's children, not me, not my children's children, not nobody. There's cherubim standing guard. Nobody, nobody enters, nobody comes into this. Wherever it may be. Amen. So we've learned to survive on. I mean, God, there was God cut them off. He says, Noah, I'm shortening this there's a countdown to 120. And then 120 became threscore and 10. And God used uh the um the rains or the waters, I mean, from both directions, from above and from below. The earth was flooded and uh cleansed as far as that moment in time is concerned. And um, this is not just my Bible. Some people say, well, you have to have a lot of faith. No, I can read history books, and that will go in and sit there and explain things. Well, there must something happen here because we're finding you know fish skeletons on top of mountains. Yeah, something happened. Read the Bible. If you want to learn it first, go by his. This is not something. I mean, I walk by faith, not by sight. Doesn't matter what my eyes see, God's word is still true. Amen. I'm gonna say that again. It doesn't matter what my eyes doesn't matter what your eyes see, God's word is still true. Young people listening, amen. Say it, say, yeah, it doesn't matter, doesn't matter what what I what I read in the headlines, doesn't matter what it, God's word is still true. But there is historical geographical evidence that Jesus walked the face of this earth, amen. That Noah built what Noah, what the Bible says, Noah built. Amen. So this is more than just I believe and more than just faith. This is what your eyes are open to see. You're gonna see things that that the Bible speaks about that are unspeakable. But I thank God the best I can in French and in English, I try to speak of those things to encourage you, amen, to believe, to encourage the man and woman, the person listening, that they can turn to God and be blessed. Amen. To read to go back to what I wanted to read a couple minutes ago. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Amen. This is what I mentioned last week. See the carnal mind, uh, death. But the spiritual mind, you get life, a bonus, peace. I not only have life, there's a bonus that comes with the peace, and his name is Amen. Why do you get peace? Because Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Amen. He came to make peace, and so making peace, when you free when you read Ephesians chapter 2, you find out what Jesus was able, what Jesus established, what he was able to establish on the face of the earth. Even the next verse says, Because the carnal mind is enity against God, for it is not, listen, want two things, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be. So it's not subject, and it can't be subject. We need to get rid of the carnal mind. That's why this is part six and what you think matters. And I thank God today I can have a spiritual mind. Amen. When do you get a spiritual mind? When you're born again. Thank mom and thank dad for my carnal mind. But thank God, amen, there's been a renewal taking place. And this is how this is where we're gonna read two verses to back this up, the renewing of your mind. And um, we're gonna that's where I get my subtitle from. But I thank God today, praise God for his word. I mentioned last week that God is a keeper, amen. We keep truth and he keeps us. Amen. Someone say, My God is a keeper. Praise God. Colossians chapter 3. I want to greet everyone listening. I read all the comments after the after before I close my eyes tonight. I'm gonna read all the comments. So, whatever you have to say, whatever you have to comment, praise God, what message you want to get to me, praise God. Feel free to do that. All my listeners that are listening, all our listeners, I should say, on uh YouTube, praise God, be blessed. I welcome you. If there's somebody monitoring the comments and um the the that uh that channel, praise God. I know there's listeners right now. YouTube has almost as many listeners as on Facebook, so we're doing well. And if you're listening on the app, if somebody some of you have figured that out, be blessed, amen, for the first Sunday on the app, on That's the Truth. And um the Apple version, the iPhone version is coming shortly, and um the French version is coming as well. So I don't figure it out. Try the app. I don't know, I have no idea. That's why some people say, oh, Facebook at this quality, I'm over on iTunes. I know John and Linda, uh not iTunes, um uh YouTube. Amen. I know John and Linda, amen. Last time we visited, John says, come into come into our room here. And he says, Oh, sit down, make yourself comfortable. And I said, What am I doing here? And I look up, there's this big screen on the wall, and five seconds later, flat Lincoln was preaching. He says, This is where we watch you every Sunday, up on the wall. Praise God. So all I can I've I can stand here. I have not I can't control this technology. I'm thankful for it. And Mr. Who's who's the Facebook guy? Um Zucker Zuckerberg? Zuckerber Zuckerberg? Zuckerberg, thank you, sir. And whoever does, yeah, Mark Zuckerberg, thank you for allowing me to preach. Maybe by last Sunday. I don't know, but we're here, we're live. And YouTube, thanks for the text that got our the the app up and running. If you're listening on godly.tv, godly.tv, that's our main site. You can find our archives, the posts uh that get the verses that get posted every day. Uh, you can find that, you can find the radio station. I forgot so often I I'm gonna ask for, I'm gonna apologize so often I forget all you listeners on live 365 in Canada and in the U.S. Thank you so much for listening on our radio station seven days a week, 24 hours a day. It's just there's just preaching that just goes around and around the clock. Praise God. That's what you and I need. Amen. So if you're listening on live 365, that's the truth. I welcome you and thank you so very much. Praise God for being there. Colossians, Colossians chapter three, and I'm gonna read uh verse 10. Read with me, please. Colossians chapter 3 in the 10th verse. This is part six, what you think matters. I'm using a subtitle, The Renewing of Your Mind. And we read, Paul is giving us this understanding in Colossians chapter 3 in the 10th verse, and have put on the new man. Someone say new. Amen. I like things when they're new. Amen. Since we're talking about Facebook, I don't mind Facebook marketplace and um KGG, or you sometimes you can find things that are exactly what you needed, exactly the way you need them. And I thank God for that blessing. But when it comes to my soul, when it comes to my salvation, I thank God for new things. Praise God. It's the God whom we serve. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of him that created him, which is the new man, amen, which is renewed. I underline the word renewed in knowledge, after the image, what kind of what knowledge after the image of him that created him. How were we made? Well, if you keep reading, if you read it to the next read the next verse in verse 11, he says, There's neither Greek nor Jew, there's neither bond nor free, circumcised, uncircumcised, barbarians, with sip, they they name different nationalities. So this gives me an understanding that when God created Adam, God didn't create a Greek. I don't know if there's any Greek people, sister, if you're listening, nothing personal. I'm gonna bring this home. God didn't create a Quebec, all that stuff came afterwards. God didn't create an American. Don't take any of this personal. God didn't create a Canadian. To my brothers and sisters down east, God didn't create a new. Amen. God didn't create an African pastors, Michelle and Jeremy. So when you sit there and say, where did all this come? This was this broke down after sin entered this world. And when I went away, using the title that God, amen, the God is God has his way. And when when we look in the when I read the next passage in Romans chapter 12, we're gonna see that we're gonna find out what God's way is, amen. How it is acceptable for us to do what God wants us to do. But when men and women come up with the wrong ideas and the wrong thinking, I mean, you let them, we can see what has happened to this earth because men and women they've just got carried away in whatever whatever ideas they come up with. Going against God, and you say, Well, that's a society we live in. No, I can go all the way back to the book of Genesis, and they come up with an idea. God flooded this earth, we'll make sure that doesn't happen again, we'll build a tower of Babel, we'll build a high rise. So if God decides to rain, first of all, God said, I'm not gonna do it again, so you all just be wasting your time with your bricks and your mortars and whatever else plans and trying to build up higher and higher. You're not gonna you cannot escape God. Had I been God, I'd have just made it rain all over again, just to bury their tower. I know God made a promise that he wouldn't do it, but that's that's the difference between God and me. Yeah, yeah, I'll show you. Amen. Peter said this time, because there isn't gonna be a next time, and Peter said this time he says, God's not gonna use water because God made a promise. Thank God He's faithful. But here you have men and women running around saying, Oh no, we're gonna let's build this tower. Well, we're gonna escape God. No, there is no escape. Amen. Like I said, it doesn't matter who you are if you're a dead pope or Dead false prophet Muhammad, your knee is going to bow. Amen. Your tongue's going to move, it's going to say truth for once and for once, finally. Amen. Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Don't allow the devil to fool you. Amen. They they they speak well on certain terms, and you sit there and say, I just wonder. And then they show up with something that doesn't make me wonder anymore. When Tucker Carlson can sit there and say, All my Muslim friends love Jesus, hang on for a sec. Jesus said, If any man loved me, I went through all the comments and I went through the preacher that was criticizing or saying whatever. Then there are people that this side. No one said, if you love Jesus, Jesus said they will be keeping my commandments. People can say things, but you look at their fruit, what's growing on the branch. So I thank God today. We did stay out of, even stay out of the pulpit. You have all these people, they can broadcast the news, good for you, but stay out of the pulpit. And stop saying Christians should be like this, and Christians should be like whatever. Christians should be as you read it, as it is written. The Jesus they love didn't die for sins and for sinners. The Jesus they love, it's another Jesus. That Paul said they're gonna come, they're gonna preach to you this other Jesus, they're gonna preach to you this other gospel. Let them be accursed. If anyone confess that they have love for Jesus Christ, and we ought to, every person ought to love Jesus because he took nails through his hands, he took nails through his feet, he shed his blood because of our sin. And then they're trying to make some kind of religious story out of it so that it's so that it sounds good. Meanwhile, they do everything that is contrary to the word of God. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Like I said, maybe it's my last day on Facebook, but that's alright. Praise God. We've been we've been we've been doing well so far. We may as well may as well allow the the world needs to know. I've said this, there is a gap which has taken place. There's a hole in the wall, there's a hole in religion, there's a hole in our political system. This just and somebody needs to stand in the gap to make a difference to this world. Amen. A difference. This is not what the news is being broadcasting, this is not what you hear, you know, normally on a regular Sunday morning in Sunday school, but open up the word of God, find out what God's grace is for you and how to receive that grace, how to receive his mercy, to be a person that can stand up and say, I thank God for you for the forgiveness of my sin which I have received. Praise God. To be God's chosen. Going back to minister Tucker Carlson. No, amen. It's not we, it's God says he has chosen a nation. He is we are a chosen generation. God makes a choice. Read the Bible, don't sit there and say God doesn't choose because God chose. Amen. This is what I read in the Bible. Amen. So we need to be careful, as I as I said, to what we hear. Jesus said that. Be careful not only to what you hear, but be careful to when you hear it. Amen. Because the devil is there. Try the it's the devil's objective to destroy any chance or opportunity that you and I have to endure until the end. Whatever distraction, whatever influence, whatever will keep you from reading the word of God, whatever will keep you from truth, whatever will keep you from holiness, whatever will keep you from sanctification, whatever will keep you from the word of God. The devil is working over time, whatever time he has left, the devil is working over time so that we have something else on our minds. And have put a here, Paul is talking to a people that have put on the new man, sisters listening, you're included, the new woman, new woman, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. Praise God. I'm a son of God. Amen. If I have to renounce my nationality, well, so be it. Amen. As I said, all this was broken down. They dispersed after coming down from the Tower of Babel, they couldn't understand each other any longer, so they dispersed. Nations were made. All this began, the the what God had created began to corrupt races and nationalities and nations, intermingling, doing whatever they did to get to where we are at today. But there is an opportunity to become that new man. Amen. To go back, praise God to what God wanted, to what God created, to what God expects of his children. Read in Romans chapter 12. I beseech you, the first two verses, I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God. Someone say, Thank God for his mercies. Amen. That you present your bodies, a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. I don't know if you underline the word reasonable. I talk to people and they say, You don't sound too, you know, it's unreasonable. What you're asking, what you're not, this is what the Bible says. It's just a reasonable service. Amen. Second verse, and be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed. Here, here comes my subtitle by the renewing of your mind. That ye may prove, listen, what is good, one. There's three things I want you to underline. Romans chapter 2, the second verse, the last line. What is good, what is acceptable, and perfect. This is the will of God. Now, this is simple. These words are biblical. I know these scriptures by heart, but if you want proof, you know, is he really reading it or is he just making it up? You put a Bible in your hands. If it's not there, get your Bibles, turn like I'm doing, turn to Romans chapter 12. I'll read it off the paper. And the first verse, I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, wholly acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be it transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good. Everyone say good. At home, say good. Two, acceptable.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_00Everyone say acceptable and perfect. Amen. Now, did I read something wrong? Will of God. If I gave this Bible to the youngest, amen, my brother that's sitting here is eight. He's eight years old. If I gave in French and in English, the exact same words. He's gonna read good. Oh, and I was sitting in church today. Pastor said there's nothing good. Read because I'm reading there's something good, there's something acceptable. Doesn't matter who says what, what matters is what you and I are reading right now. Perfect. There's another word that is disappearing off the you know religious scene. Like I said, if I gave it to my brother who's nine years old, he's gonna read in all simplicity, he's gonna read good, acceptable, and perfect, will of God. No way around it. Doesn't matter who says what. That's why we need to be careful, amen. To know God's will and to know his purpose, this is why our mind is renewed. Amen. Because the flesh, whatever the flesh wants, whatever direction the flesh wants to drag you all the way to hell, that's not God's will, that's not God's purpose. We know that God is not slack concerning his promise, but it is the will of God that no man shall perish. 2 Peter 3:9. So this is God's will. That sounds good to me. Amen. God can look at you and say, I don't want you to perish. That's acceptable, I accept. And as many as received him to them, he gave power to become the sons and the daughters of God. Receive the gift. God has a gift, it's as if his arm is outstretched, it's all taken care of. It's not like you're on the list. The gift is it's it's done. Amen. When Jesus was on the cross, it is finished. Almost got myself into a debate this week. I just decided to stay out of it. And we're saying, Why did Jesus say I'm thirsty? And they had all kinds of, I'm listening to all these people, preachers, put in the comments. Not one of them said. He said he was thirsty because he had one more prophecy to fulfill before he drew his last breath. That's why he said, I thirst. Because there was a prophecy saying just before he dies, this is gonna be the cup that he's gonna drink from. This is why we have a scripture, so the Bible, the holy scriptures before us, so we can find out what God really requires of you and I, according to his purpose. You know, God has a purpose, and count yourself blessed if you can be found in the center of his will within God's purpose. Don't step aside and go say, well, I'm not too sure. I don't really know what's going on. I don't know. Just find out, wait, by the renewing of our mind, we're gonna find out what amen. Should what what's on our what we think about? The second verse in Psalm chapter one, that he who meditate on his law is a person who is blessed day and night. Malachi chapter three, just at the close of the old testament, I want to read one scripture verse. I've laid foundation and I want to read this one scripture verse before we go back in the New Testament. Verse 16, Malachi chapter 3. They then they that fear the Lord spake often one to another. Now remember what I preached about a month ago, and the Lord hearkened, underline that word, and heard it. Underline the word, heard. Remember the series? What you say is important, God's listening, God hears it. There's my proof. I just back it up. Man of God, prophet Malachi. The second part of this verse is one I want to look into. This want you to remember today. And that not only not only does God hear it, but then a book of remembrance was written before him for them that fear the Lord. Listen to this last line, and that thought upon his name. What are you thinking? It's important. Amen. What you think matters. Praise God. In French, we're run under the title, What You Think Is Important. In English is what you think it matters. It makes a difference. Amen. It makes a difference whether you be holy, whether you be sanctified, whether you fall back into sin. It makes a difference. What you're thinking. How that it makes a difference how you respond to your wife. Husbands, say amen. Thank you, husband, number one. Amen. Hallelujah. Wives, it makes a difference how you respond to your children, to your husbands. Amen. You got the picture, I can go through the list, but hallelujah. Amen. If you're feeling the heat, just look straight. Amen, Pastor. Even if your wife's sitting right next to you, amen, Pastor. Amen. What you think, Matt? Like I said, this comes down. It's from your thoughts, it comes down into our heart, and what's your heart, what's in your heart comes out of your mouth. Amen. This was the teaching. This is led us up to this teaching. All these months or all these weeks. What you are thinking on, what you are it says, a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord one, and that thought upon his name. Let's get into the New Testament. And I'm gonna now now the teaching comes down to our level. In the book of Philippians, we're gonna go back from Philippians to Corinthians, we're gonna back and forth, but in Philippians chapter 4, as I was saying, the teaching comes to our level right now that I've laid this foundation because Paul is gonna mention a couple of names. Now, our brothers and sisters, they are long gone. But all the names that I mentioned on the board, even if you're listening for the first time, Philippians 4, the second first, I beseech you, um, I beseech you, Euodis, and beseech synth syntax or syntheti, that they be of the same mind. Amen. There we go with the word the mind again. What what what thinks fires up your whatever whatever you've been focused on or whatever you've been meditating or thinking. Now, here were there's two people, two folks mentioned, and Paul says, I beseech that they be of the same mind in the Lord. And when I underline those last three, in the Lord. This is important. Why is this important? Turn back a few pages to 1 Corinthians chapter 1 and the 10th verse. Like I said, the teeth now the teaching comes down to our level. This is not just talking over our heads. As I mentioned, whatever name is on the board that I mentioned, whoever's sitting in front of me, amen. But the the the the the teaching now is at our level, it's between brother and sister. It's it's like it's as if I'm gonna bring it home or I am bringing it home. Chapter 1, verse 10. First Corinthians, chapter 1, and the 10th verse. Now I beseech you, same word. Philippians chapter 4, Paul says, I beseech in Corinthians chapter 1. I don't know which epistle came first, but Paul's still beseeching. Amen. We read in Romans chapter 12, I beseech you, brethren. Praise God. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing. I don't know what you can do with that letter A, the with the word A L L, those three letters. In my digital text, I made it all capitals so it stands out. All is there an exception or an exclusion? Uh let me read this again. That ye all speak the same thing. I don't like the word same. Like I said, this brings it down to our level. If I mention anybody sitting in front of me, praise God, we're we're at that, we're at that level. I beseech you that they be of the same mind in the Lord. Now to the Corinthian church, Paul writes that ye all speak the same thing, and then that and that there be no divisions among you. This is specific. This is talking to the church. Amen. I'm not in the club anymore, I'm not in the sportsple anymore, I'm in the house of God where judgment begins. But that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. I don't know if you can underline the word same. I'm just showing you how well, amen, our King James Bible has been written. What is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God? And here we read that we be perfectly joined together. You can't do away with it. I know certain passages are overlooked. Don't forget, Jesus said every word. We live by every word that has proceeded out of the mouth of God. You can't go skipping around. Amen. And now, Paul here is saying, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing. Someone say the same thing. May not be the same language, but it's going to be the same thing. Amen. When our pastors in Africa, when they buy Bibles to give out, amen, that they're not resold, we give them. I don't I don't sell the Bible. I've got to buy them, but I don't turn around and sell them. So when we give them away, they use the same. I when I read in the Louis Segon version in French, that's what Pastor Jeremy and the church, and that's what Pastor Michel and the church and the churches, that's what they read from. It kind of gets us going in the right direction to be reading the same thing. That we do mind the same thing. Praise God. To avoid any type of confusion or gray area that we could, you know, end up in. Because here we that we have not only we have to be in the same mind in the Lord, amen, we have to create a um, it's a good word I can use. We have to create a partnership or a relationship where there is no divisions amongst us. Amen. Now, if you think I'm gonna conclude by saying everybody thinks like Pastor Lincoln, well, you're wrong. Get that out. I'm not heading in that direction. Stick with me for another 10-15 minutes, and you're gonna find out what we are, you're gonna find out whose mind we ought to have. Let's get started. Go back to Philippians. Someone say the same mind. Blessed be the name of the Lord. This time, the third chapter in Philippians. Some of these words are gonna sound familiar all over again. Verse 15, Philippians chapter 3, verse 15. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect. Well, there was that word again, be thus minded. Think like this, think like this. This is what you have on your mind. And if anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. So we have two different minds. We have thus minded and we have the otherwise-minded. This is why the word of God needs to be anchored deeply rooted in you. Amen. Last week I said, show me when somebody comes to you with what like I mentioned, Tucker, and you gotta pray for him. He has a lot of influence. Show me the chapter, show me the verse, show me the page number in the Bible. Then you'll get a thumbs up from me. This is why we need to be, we need to be, this needs to be familiar. This needs to be internalized. They had it in their hands, they were able to read it. A portion or two passage here and there. Jesus said, It's not in your hearts. Because what's in your hearts is coming out of your mouth, it's coming, that's what's coming out of your mouth. And amongst yourselves, amongst the Sadducees and the Pharisees and the other groups that came to try to trick Jesus, they don't even, they don't even agree on doctrine. They can't agree in their own Sunday school, but they can all agree to gang up and go against Jesus Christ. Well, how'd that turn out? Once Jesus Christ was done answering them, they all went home. I'm never gonna ask him a question again. Can't fool him? No, you can't fool the words. Amen. Go back to your disputes and your bane philosophies and not getting along in your on your Sabbath day and in your synagogues, but the word of God which has been spoken from the beginning. Amen. I don't care who wakes up tomorrow and says whatever, God had the first word in. In the beginning was the word. Amen. The word was with God. This is how you get to know the mind of God, and the word was God. Amen. So when I begin to read the Bible, I'm reading God. Amen. Chapter 19 in Revelations, when I read the Word of God, I'm reading Jesus Christ. Amen. This is how I am a partaker, this is how I receive, this is how I fill myself up with what thus saith the Lord, because it has been written in the beginning. Anything else is post, anything else is secondary if that, if I allow it to get to second. It's like third and fourth, it's like tenth, and it's like a hundredth, especially when the devil is comes along saying the talking, too late. This is how Eve needed to respond. Saying, yeah, as God said, yeah, that's exactly what God said. Now get out. Was that half-hearted kick on the camera, or you can see it now? Get out because I went like this. Did he lose his balance? Is he no? Get out. Kick the devil out. Kick the naysayers out. Because they show up, Paul says they might even show up. They come hello. Hey, hey, this is an angel of light. What do you got to say? Oh well, not lining up. I don't remember reading that. Maybe I did. Show me the page. Show me the chapter. Show me the verse. And then I'll shake your hand. These folks, they want us to, you know, come along for a ride, and I know where I'm going. There's a way, amen, which leadeth. Amen. There is a prophet that prophesied. You can read this in Isaiah chapter 35. And there shall be a way. And that way shall be the way. It's capital, the capital T-H-E, the way. Amen. His name is. Amen. Because there is one way. His name is. Amen. There is no other way. The only way his name is. Amen. This is what? This is simple. This is the simplicity of Jesus Christ. This is the simplicity of his doctrine that he came and gave us. Praise God, where there's one way, one truth, one life, one baptism, one doctrine. Amen. One that this there's there's one source. And once we become attached, once we come tied into that source, we're all going to be thinking the same thing. Thinking the same way. Praise God. I get up in the morning, praise God, and the thoughts that strike my mind say, I'm alive and well. This is a day which the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad in it. Today, amen. Like Paul, uh rather David wrote in the Psalms today, amen. I pray unto you today, three times a day. I pray unto you, a little later on, seven times a day I pray unto you, a little later on in the Psalms. It just got better and better. Praise God. From glory to glory, from strength to strength. Amen. Paul's, then rather David again going back to David, he says, and then he says, I shall praise you continually, shall praise come forth out of my mouth. Amen. From one prayer a day. Praise God, just like reciting the scriptures from one recital, from one verse you recited, amen. Then you got the two, and then I don't even care. I lose track. Amen. I'm counting French and in English. Praise God. Because the word of God that is in us, amen, once it gets in you and once it gets stirred up, it begins to flow. There's a flow that takes place. Amen. This is not stagnant, this is not stale, because it is alive and well in me. Praise God. Because of what Jesus Christ has come to establish, not for his own self, but he came to establish this for you and I. Someone say for me. Are you glad? Nevertheless, verse 16, where to we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Amen. Something that is important as far as our mind is concerned. No schisms. I know this is a big place, but thank God we have thank God we haven't seen those folks for a while. I'm not just talking about one particular person, but you couldn't share a row or couldn't share a section of seats. I say this over and over again. When I see my brother, I see the blood of Christ. Because he be washed. Amen. I don't see a nationality or a color. We walk in the same spirit. Amen. We walk with the same life in us. Amen. We walk with the same freedom where with Jesus Christ has set us free. Amen. This is the mind by the renewing of it. I didn't come into the world like this. Like I said, the carnal mind comes naturally. You just let it grow and grow and whatever. It ends up to be racist, it ends up to be prejudice, it ends up to be a hater of the brethren or sister or of a nationality. Can't pray for a brother or sister unless you're unless you're burping them on the back. Come on. Often I dress what's on the outside, you know, calling up the smokers or thank God, amen. I'm not, um, I don't smoke like I used to. I never smoked, but I don't drink, don't curse, don't swear. We all have that testimony because of Christ in us. Oh, we can move some of that on the inside. What's on your heart? Jesus said, ah, you can murder with a sword and you can murder with a knife, but you all can be murdering in your heart with your thought. You can commit adultery in the flesh by whatever actions need to keep this G-rated, but you understand what I'm saying. But then Jesus said, You can commit adultery in your own mind, your own thought. Your flesh doesn't have to do anything but look. What you think is important. You know what you think matters. The more you read, the more you're gonna think biblical. Let us mind the same thing. Go back to 1 Corinthians chapter 2. Remember, I said, well, yeah, yeah, he's gonna say, just think like your pastor and everything's gonna be alright. No, hang on. We're gonna read who we're gonna think like. You mean think about? No, we're gonna think like 1 Corinthians chapter 2 and the 16th verse. The next two passages before I pray, you're gonna give us the right mind. Renewed mind. I don't know what was on your thoughts or what was on your mind when you tuned in a few minutes ago. But if you have been following carefully, have a good idea what's on your mind right now. Chapter 2, 1 Corinthians, verse 16. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? That he may instruct him. But we have the mind of Christ. Some of you can make this personal. I have the mind of Christ. Praise God. Thank God for the first part. Oh, this is this is really what God meant to say. No, no, no, God said what he meant to say. He said it the way he meant it. Well, if I reach out for a different translation or literation or whatever folks have on the go, different commentator. We need to be careful of what influences you and I. With knowing the mind of the Lord, someone say the mind of the Lord. Amen. We have the mind of Christ. Go back to Philippians chapter 2. I'm gonna read from I'm gonna read one verse in Philippians chapter 2. It's the it's verse number five. This is what renewing our mind means, especially when we draw from the same source, which is the will of God according to his word, the will of God by his spirit that leads us and guides us into all truth. Amen. And I'm gonna read this short passage that Paul wrote to the church in in um Philippi chapter 2, verse 5. He says, Let this mind be in you. This is how I'm gonna pray in a couple of minutes, which was also in Christ Jesus, and let this mind. I pointed you to the scriptures before. Get your Bibles, get your Bibles, get your Bibles. You this is how you know God. This is how you know Jesus Christ. You know him as a Savior, you know him as a healer, you know him as a deliverer. Amen. You know him in the forgiveness of your sins. You get to know God, his grace, his mercy, his forgiveness. These are his promises. And we need to partake. Amen. We need to have, we need to be a participant of these promises. Hallelujah. This is what we need. This is what needs to be on our minds, and this is how the the your families listening when we exchange or send some, when I send somebody a text and they send back a text of scripture verses. Praise God. This is keeping us like-minded. Amen. It is keeping us within the will of God. Hallelujah. Reminding us what the Bible has said, what the Bible has written, reminding me what God has spoken. Praise God. Amen. I'm not exempt from any verse or scripture, neither are you, neither is any of us. And Paul here is telling the Philippian church, he's saying, Let this mind be in you, which was, amen, which was also in Christ Jesus. There's something about when you read the same mind, there's something about those two words when the King James Bible, when God's word puts those two words together, there's something that connects with my spirit. There's something that connects with the Spirit of God, there's something that gives me every indication where I am to draw from. Amen. Like I said, there's something in me that that, because the Spirit of God is there, there's something in me that will flow, and this is what we need as we go into this world. Let us lay aside the weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us. Amen. Like I said before at the beginning of this broadcast, it doesn't matter what my eyes see. Amen. I know what God has written. Amen. I'm not gonna allow my faith to diminish because I see something. Praise God. So I walk by faith and not by sight. Amen. The devil wants us to have our eyes to be influenced by what we see, by what we hear. Well, Jesus Christ already gave us. He said, There's gonna be wars and famines and rumors of wars, there's gonna be the pestilence, there's gonna be the naysayers and the uprisers, and there's gonna be we read all this so it doesn't shock me and it doesn't surprise me. Amen. When I see it, when I hear about it, I sit there and say, Well, that's Jesus telling the truth. That's Jesus in a matter of the prophet that he was telling the truth to you and I. Praise God, and allow us, amen, to go forth, allow us to make the next step, amen. Father in heaven, order my steps, amen. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, praise God. We can take a step in the right direction, we can make, amen, our efforts, amen, be worthy, praise God, amen, of glory and honor unto our Father in heaven, because we have looked for his will, we have searched, amen, for the will of God, we have found out what God's will is in our life, and we be and we begin to accomplish it every step of the way. Hallelujah. This is what God's word is for you and I. A renewed, amen. The renewing of your mind. Praise God. I'm not done next week. Not sure where we're gonna be, but if we do live stream next week, I'm gonna be running under the subtitle, be part seven, and be running under the subtitle, A Sound Mind. Amen. It just came to me about 10 seconds ago. Yesterday, preparing my notes, was saying, What's for next week? I need a title for now. And I said, Ah, next week it'll come, but this is under the anointing. This is where we have a sound. My mind is renewed. I have a sound mind. I don't care what the world says. Amen. It makes no difference what my neighbor says. Amen. Praise God. Let's stand. Remind me. And I said we're gonna pray in a couple of minutes. Are you glad for the word of God today? Hallelujah. It's there if you want it. Can someone say amen? It's there if you want it. Everyone listening, it's there for you. On the other side of that camera lens. And there's a Bible, there's a Bible there for you. We're getting ready. We're counting the Bibles and looking at the weather. Saw some snowflakes this morning, so we're still and tonight. We go below zip below zero, below freezing tonight. Within the next few days, we should have our French trailer was out on Saturday. Thank God for that. Downtown here, Montreal. Some of you are making your holidays, planning to drive. The truck and trailer as well. People need the Bible, they need the word of God. Amen. They're starting to take, you know, make it sound like that they want to take away portions. When they start with one verse, you think they're gonna start, or stop rather, you think they're gonna stop with one chapter. Or two chapters. You think you're gonna get that back? Like I said, might be the last day on Facebook. Y'all know I have fun with AI. Call up, call up one of my sermons and ask AI. Summarize the sermon. Find that interesting. AI even call me Pastor Lincoln. He believes and he reads. Our hands are up. We don't have all the details, but you can see in the scriptures what's gonna take place. Amen. Some people say it's the Pope. No, it's Donald Trump. No, it's I don't know his first name, but Putin? Is he a president or Vladimir? Is it Vladimir? It's it's VP. It's Vladimir Putin. Visiting with somebody a few days ago, and he said, It's coming out of the Vatican. A few hours later, somebody said, It comes out of Germany. Talking about the beast or the antichrist or whatever's coming. When I was growing up, it was Gaddafi. The Russians always seem to have a stake in it, but Gaddafi's gone. It was the Ayatollah, he's gone. So we don't have all quite all the details. But they are starting to throw that word around, peace. And we have the prophecy on that when they start to say there's over here. When they begin to say, Don't settle down. Because the prophecy is once they use that word for a few times here and that peace, they show peace and ten leaders, ten kings, ten crowns, however you want to look at it. Peace here, peace there. Then sudden destruction. Thank God for his word. Amen. Don't go to China for help. Go to the Lord. Hands are up. We're going to go to God. Look up. Nobody's looking up. Look up. From whence cometh your help? Amen. Your help cometh from Amen. At home, everyone says your help cometh from Father in heaven. We are grateful for the time we have spent together. All my brothers and all my sisters, all of the same mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, your Son. Father in heaven, I thank God that we can be godly minded, we can be biblically minded as well. Because we read, and when we read, we read you. We read Jesus Christ. Since the beginning, a lot of people saying a lot of things, but we are thankful today that you established it. That your word was settled once and for all and forever in the heavens, settled in our hearts, settled in our minds, settled within us. Thank God that we have power over all the power of the devil. The enemy wants to come to rob, destroy what we have received today, wants to come to rob it. Lord, I pray for our friends, first-time listeners, brothers and sisters, maybe trying to get used to the sound and the accent, and but thank God that the word of God is predominant, preeminent in every aspect today, not only in the worship, not only in the music, not only as we testify, not only as we do recite it, but as we open up and we read it and we preach it. Pray for our pastors in Africa, Newfoundland, and in Winnipeg as well. Praise God. We all be preaching the same thing for the salvation of souls as you come to our need. Pray for my young brothers and sisters. They're gonna be on the school bus tomorrow. They're gonna be in a classroom dominated by worldly sentiments and doctrines, and but that they be protected in Jesus' name, strengthened in Jesus' name, a light in the darkness. Their ear will not be given to whatever their friends or teachers have to say, trying to build up a stronghold. These are holy and sanctified children in Jesus' name. I come against the works of darkness all around us, but the power which we have received, amen, to become a son, to become a daughter, that power keeps us saved, keeps us on the way which leadeth unto life in Jesus' name. Lord, I thank God once again for the opportunity given us, which we have had, where we can open up your word, read together, believe together, hallelujah, receive together to have that one mind, the same mind that was in Christ, the word, our Savior, our Lord. Thank God for a mind which was given to us, a sound mind, a mind that is solid, a mind where your word is anchored, deeply rooted, not to be taken away, not to be eradicated by the forces of hell, for the inimical forces of darkness. Because this is the world that we are in, but thank God that our light lights up the darkness wherever we go, whatever we say, as a living witness of your word. Father in heaven, we read it's important, it matters what we think. Give us a mind that is stayed upon you, fixed, not going to be shaken. Father in heaven, it makes a difference in our lives, makes a difference to who we are, it gives you glory, it gives you honor. In Jesus' name, Lord, as I pray these things for my brothers and sisters, I'm thankful for this opportunity. I'm thankful for this technology that we have that we can use up to this point. Praise God for those listening. I thank God, praise God that there is a uh there there's a difference in our lives. Because today we did grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The faith which cometh by hearing, amen. Faith which cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. That faith, amen, that word of God we did hear today, and our faith has increased. Amen. Hallelujah. From glory to glory, from strength to strength, Lord. I thank God today, and I give you all the praise and the glory for it. And I thank you today for what we have received. Well fed. Well fed. Amen. Within the storehouse of God. Well served because the table which is set before us. Father in heaven, all the praise and all the glory goes to you. Thank God for the work which was run on Calvary, made a difference in our lives. When we came to you and we received your grace, we received your mercy. We received your forgiveness. Lord, I thank God for this week which is upon us. You've given us this is the first day, a brand new week, the start of a brand new week. Protect us, keep us, praise God, within your hands and within your will. Father in heaven, I ask for those things in Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Amen. And amen. Praise God. Your decision time is right now. We read, Paul said, I beseech you, I beseech you, I beseech you. Now that's Paul's writing. Now I'm beseeching you, I'm begging you that you make your choice, make this day your day. Amen. I know some of my brothers and sisters, I'm very familiar. Some of us we've never met, and you haven't missed a Sunday for years. And I thank God for that. Pray that God will bring us together. If you're listening behind bars, once again, keep the word of God open. Amen. Don't don't don't give up on God's word because God is faithful to his word, so we read it, we apply it to our lives, and we see the will of God take place, come to pass in each and every one of our lives. Praise God. Pray for one another as the Bible teaches us. And it's important to have your mind upon God, have your mind upon God's word. We can read this. This sermon is probably worth a second listen and a third listen. Praise God. You can repeat it, you can find it in our archives. Amen. I welcome That's the Truth app. Amen. That is online, that is active. Praise God, to make a difference in the lives of whoever is listening. My wife and I we're looking forward as we probably get ready to um relocate this week to be on the move. We're looking forward to meeting so many of you once again. It has been a while, but in the meantime, remember what you think is important. Thank God for a renewed mind. Next week we're going to go into the scriptures for a sound mind. We're blessed because God has spoken. We're blessed because of the word of God in our lives. When everything else seems to be falling apart, God's word stands true in its very form that God has produced or it's that it has originated in. Doesn't move, it's unshakable. And here we are upon that rock. His name is Jesus. Praise God. You're listening to That's the Truth. My name is Lincoln. I love each and every one of you. Be blessed in the coming few days and thank God for his word. Thank God for his will. Remember, what you think matters makes a difference. Give God a good hand at home as well. Rejoice for the hearing of the word of God, for the preaching of his word. Hallelujah. God has given us a generous portion of our daily bread. All the glory be unto God. Someone say, Thank you, Jesus. Remember, you can see the video and audio files of this teaching on our YouTube channel, That's the Truth, as well as our Facebook page, Link with God.
