Whoever is listening, and I welcome each and every one of you, whoever is listening, that you that you may be blessed, praise God, with what with the word of God, with what we have um been singing about and what we have been uh talking about and testifying about for the past uh I'm not sure what time it is, but I I'm sure we're two hours in, pretty close to uh what's that? 10 to 2. 10 to 2. We're more than two hours in. Somebody has been long-winded. Amen. But now I'm getting I'm ready to preach. Praise God. Thank you, my brother. Amen. So I welcome every one of you on on you on our YouTube channel, on our Facebook page, on the app. If you're listening on the app, be blessed. Praise God. If you're listening on godly.tv, well, again, I welcome you from wherever you may be listening to this live stream. If you're listening after the fact, whatever social media platform, if you're listening on radio, amen, let's put our hands up. As I mentioned, the listeners, we're gonna pray for them and bless them. If you're listening on radio, live 365 to That's the Truth, I welcome you as well. Some folks are listening right now from their hospital room, from a residence, from a retirement home. Some folks are listening and they're incarcerated, they're behind bars, but there's a Bible in their hands, and they're blessed to hear the preaching of the word of God that gives them an exhortation, that gives them an uplifting, amen. For a good day, no matter what the circumstances are or where you may be. Father in heaven, I bless my brothers and sisters today that are listening, those sitting in front of me that have driven, some have driven two, three hours to be here, but here we are in your presence. We've come through your gates with praise, we've entered your courts with thanksgiving, and I thank God, amen. We've come to glorify you, and we've come to bless you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I thank God for this blessing once again to have our Bibles open. We're getting ready to receive. Give us this day our daily bread. Praise God. Whoever's listening, wherever their circumstances they may be in, they call upon the name of the Lord, they shall be saved. Amen. They come out of their dire circumstances, some situations don't look good at all in the flesh, but thank God today we can look up from whence cometh our help. Thank God today the Spirit of the Living God, your spirit can be upon us, can be upon my brothers and sisters as they make the request to be known. I thank God we can ask and receive. We can supplicate, knowing that you're faithful to your word, and we can offer thanksgiving because of the faith that is in each and every one of us. In Jesus' name, praise God. Those that have their eyes upon the billboards, those that have received the Bible this week or they've been testified to. I thank God, amen. A difference is being made as the word of God has been sown into their hearts and into their minds, Lord. Bless the preaching of the word of God as it comes forth. I pray that there is an anointing that will be upon us as we listen, that will be upon me as I deliver the word today, which has been placed in my heart by your spirit. To know that the Holy Ghost will be our guide as we get into the Bible, as we open up the Word of God today, as a blessing to our hearts and our souls. I thank God for this day that you've given us such a beautiful day in central Newfoundland. But we are here not for creation's sake, we are here for our creator, Father in heaven, in Jesus' name. We give you all the praise, all the glory, and all the honor. In the name of Jesus, I pray these things. Amen and amen. Praise God, hallelujah, praise God. Anyone else praying with me? I want to hear your voice. If your hands aren't up, put them up, amen. And talk to God, praise God. Blessed be the name of the Lord, hallelujah, praise God, praise his holy name. Thank you, thank you, Jesus. Praise God, hallelujah, amen. Thank you, Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah, amen. Bible says to shout unto the Lord with a loud voice. We're not this, we don't have a voice that is defeated, we have a voice that is triumphant. Praise his holy name. Thank you, thank you, Jesus. Praise God, hallelujah, praise his holy name. His name is Pra. Are you glad for those who are listening? Amen. By faith, I don't I can't see the screen, so I don't know who's online, but by faith they're listening, they have joined with us. Praise God. We're gonna be seated in the presence of God. Amen. Find your seats with a Bible in your hands because this is important. Praise God. Hallelujah. At home as well, make sure the Bible is in your hands. Praise God. Hallelujah. Someone say the name of our Savior. Praise God. Hallelujah. Are you glad for the word today? Amen. Thank you so much for the inspiration, the motivation. Amen. Coming off the organ as we get this live stream. This is the first of three live streams today. The next one's gonna be in French, and then we're gonna have our regular live stream, 6:30 Newfoundland time, which is five o'clock, where I come from in Montreal, Eastern Standard Time. So share the link. Help me preach. Praise God. It's that easy. Back in the day, Jesus said go into the highways and the byways, into the hedges, and now it's a we still have to do that. Don't get me wrong, we still have to do that. But today there's other opportunities that we can use. There's other opportunities that we can uh and I thank God for this technology. Praise God. I said a couple of things last week. Thought maybe Mr. Facebook or Mr. YouTube would take take us off, but we're still on. Praise God. Hallelujah. And if you've noticed the title online, this is I didn't intend this to be a part two, but this this is uh this this is a continuing with the theme from last week, Countdown to Destruction. And I'm we're gonna go into the book of Jude. I'm gonna read one verse in the book of Jude, and uh before I begin reading, as I mentioned, share this link. It's that easy. You can share this link, and maybe someone who's never heard the gospel preached before will be listening for the first time. Praise God. I'm not sure how technology works, but you can you can post it, you can get the algorithm working by subscribing or saying thumbs up or however you folks do it. I'm so glad that I can press a couple of buttons and um knowing that it's we're connected and that it is working, and I'm so glad for each and every one of you who are listening right now. I trust you have get your Bibles, I trust you have the Bible in your hand. If not, get your Bibles, get your Bibles, get your Bibles, because we're gonna read directly from the Word of God. I'm gonna be reading from the King James Version, and um, if you have a King James Version, then we'll be able to read. Uh we'll be able to read word by word. So I'm gonna read the second to last verse in the book of Jude. The second to last verse is gonna be verse 24. I wrote down in the margin, I had I've just been written in my margin for a while. When um, and I know there's some people, this this verse causes controversy sometimes. Because they they uh even though you read it word for word, some people, well, I don't know. And we're gonna read this verse, but I don't want it to be controversial. I want it to be uh I want you to partake of it. And in the margin, I'm this is what I'm using for a title. God is a keeper. Amen. And I thank God for that. I want to make sure you're still with me. Everyone say, God is a keeper. Amen. Now I'm gonna ask you a question: who's he keeping? Amen. Thank God some of you didn't even hesitate. Amen. You didn't even sit there and wonder about oh, what's he talking about? Who is God keeping? Amen. Read it with me, verse 24. Now, unto him that is able to keep you. Bring it home and say, He is able to keep me, God that I serve as a keeper. You say, how does that tie into last week? Well, last week we were looking at you know the day and the hour which we don't know, and there's like a countdown. Amen. You're saying, well, what's being counted? Well, last week was last Sunday. A week later, this Sunday today, we're seven days further on that countdown. Amen. Some of you are blessed that God didn't send his son Jesus on yesterday because you're still not saved. Amen. How many are how many of you are glad that Jesus didn't come back the day before you all got saved? Amen. Come on, put your hands up. You're nothing special. We're all the same. Amen. God has no respect, we're all the same. And what if God had pulled the plug on whatever's going on on this earth the day before you got saved? Amen. When you're still messed up in sin and had to go to God to repent because that's the instructions that Jesus gave us. Amen. People don't like when I use that word, but this is what this is, this is what the Bible is. Amen. And I'm not, I'm not preaching a gospel of works. It's just when I read the Bible, once you get saved, your works change. You're not gonna smoke, you're not gonna drink, you're not gonna be clubbing, you're not gonna, there's so many things that you're gonna stop doing, amen. And you're not just gonna be laying at home just having stopped doing, they are going to be replaced. When you read in Romans chapter 6, amen, works that were considered by God. I'm not the one judging, you can read it. When it's considered the judgment that God has, it's considered the works considered by God that were unrighteous. Paul said, You used to use the same members that you still have, but those members did unrighteousness. But now that we've changed masters, amen, I'm not walking in slavery anymore. I'm not walking bound to what the you know, to the shots that the flesh will call. Amen. I am yoked with an easy yoke amen to Jesus Christ, following a good shepherd on my way, which leadeth amen to eternal life, because Jesus Christ is that way, and there is no other way. Can someone say thank you, Jesus? So along the way, I need to be kept. Amen. Our sister just sang, and I don't think you did had no idea what verse we were gonna read. And she was just singing, don't stop me. Amen. Sometimes people ask me, See, you do you get mad when you preach? I get not only sometimes, sometimes, but not only when I'm preaching, but sometimes in life, because I plan on making it, amen. As Jesus said, if any man, if any woman, he that endureth until the end, amen. See, that's where my that's where the same vision Paul has that when he wrote to the Philippians in his day. He says, I pressed toward the mark. That mark meant he saw something, amen. You may not see what I see exactly the same thing in the spirit, but I see something, and that's that mark where my aim is for that mark. Amen. And I need to be kept along the way, and I thank God that I serve, as I said as I'm running my title, I thank God that God is my keeper. God is a keeper. Amen. God just didn't turn us loose into this world, he gave us a way, and his way is some of you forget? His way is come on, open up your mouths, amen. Let the folks at home hear you. His name is Praise God. Amen. Before the broadcast came on, I was talking about you know, people are trying to predict the events. Well, Jesus is coming back in the middle of the seven years, or Jesus coming back at the end, or Jesus coming back before we don't know the day, we don't know the hour. So I'm not gonna try to guess, I'm not gonna try to predict. What I am going to do is I'm gonna read my Bible. Amen. I asked the question before I gave you the answer, I asked the question to my brothers and sisters here. I said, So what am I gonna do? And a couple of people said, Read your Bible. Amen. That's the answer that this world needs today. Amen. Rather than to depend on whoever's crossing your newsfeed or whatever channel you're you may be watching, we've got something that directly connects us to God, it directly puts us in line with his word, and not only just by being a reader, but as we read it, we put it to work, we become a doer, and the Bible teaches us that it is the doers that are justified. Amen. If you're listening to the main program, but last week we ended on a verse that Peter was teaching us, and I'll elaborate on this in the next in the next sermon, in the next preaching in English, and um, it's gonna be the last of the series. So if you've been with us for two months already, what you think matters, what's what's on your mind, what do you meditate on makes a difference. Today we're gonna bring it, I bring it to a close. It's gonna be the last in the series, so you don't want to miss that. I know you're listening, listeners are different time zones, so I won't put the time out there, but it's it's coming, and I'm trying to do the math in my head, but I can't. Three, four hours, five. Anyways, we'll see you later. Put it that way. So, for the last in that series, and uh and I don't want you to miss that either. So the that go, and and as I'm saying, the what I'm meditating on and what's upon my mind comes from God's word. Amen. I don't want to let or or I don't want to allow anybody to get in the way. Amen. I planned that so when I was saying sometimes when I when my um I'm gonna try to be because I don't want to use the word angry because people throw a verse at me. So it's not I'm not angry, my blood pressure gets up. When my blood pressure begins to raise, it's because there's people, beginning with the devil, the enemy of my soul, there's people that are that block me, that stop me. They're trying to change my mind. They're trying to, the devil is a thief. So when he comes my way and he sees what I have, what I've been given from God, one, he's jealous because he's been jealous and envious since the first day. That's what the Bible says. So when he sees what I got, he doesn't want anybody else to have it. I've said this before the devil doesn't want to go to hell all by himself. Amen. We've looked at these scriptures. I've said this before. God did not make hell for his creation, for you and I, made it for the devil and his angels. Those are the people who depart to his left on the day of judgment. It's unfortunate that people are following the devil. People are following we there is a better way, the writer in Hebrews has given us, and his name is Jesus Christ. That's whom I follow. Amen. Where do you want to go? Praise God. Asking you the question, where do you want to go? Amen. Now unto him, Jude 24th verse. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Amen. God is able. Amen. I just stated that God is a keeper, but God is able. Hallelujah. I don't lack confidence in my God. Amen. As I said, I'm not here to predict a day or predict an outcome or to to do anything that people have, they have no right, as far as I'm concerned. Amen. Oh, this is what God's thinking, this is what God's gonna do. I don't I don't try to second guess God. Amen. I read my Bible. Praise God. And I'm glad to see your Bibles are open today. Amen. Turn in the book of Romans. We're gonna keep reading what God has for us this morning. Well, I guess it's afternoon. We were here this morning, but the morning has turned into the midday. Praise God. Romans chapter 14. Now, I want you to remember what we read. God is a keeper. Him that is able to keep you, Jesus Christ. We have power in his name. We are to be in Christ. This is not just anybody, but those who are in Christ. Amen. Are you in Christ? Amen. Anybody can be around Christ. Amen. Church is not salvation. It's quite now. I don't want to lose my amens. But folks, because this is Sunday, folks went to church today thinking, well, I'm alright. I went to church. Preacher shook my hands. That's not salvation. Amen. I said, just we need to be, if any man, if any woman be in Christ, hallelujah. You can be you can be around church, folks, you can be around me. Folks were around Jesus, but there was only one woman who got healed. She pressed through the obstructions, the people that she could have allowed to be in her way, but she refused, I mean, because she was pressing toward the mark, and his name is Jesus. Amen. She had a vision, say, all I need to do is touch. Maybe I don't have to touch him, but just the hem of his garment. Amen. Fulfill prophecy. The last page in the Old Testament. There's healing in his wings. Amen. And she was a woman that proved one of the biblical prophecies, amen, to be true to his word. Amen. Prophet Malachi that prophesied. Hallelujah. And she touched the ham with the wings of his garment, the edges of his garment, whatever she touched, knee high or below the knee or whatever. Jesus felt something. She felt something. A lot of folks were around Jesus. But your effort has to be a little better than just being around Jesus. Some of you have been listening to me for a few years, and you have to, your effort, you need to increase your effort. Amen. Listening is good, listening is a start. And I appreciate that. But in order to get to heaven, you need to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. I can beg, amen. Our beseech is a King James Bible word. I beseech you, brethren, I beseech you, sisters. Amen. Let's do something before it's too late. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Lots of people around Jesus, but only one woman was healed. Now, Romans chapter 14. As I said, Amen. We have to do something. She reached out. Praise God. Verse 4. Who art thou that judges another man's servant? To his own master, he stands or he falls. Amen. Now listen to the second part of this verse. Yea? He shall be holding up. For God is able. I underline those three words. God is able to make him stand. Amen. God is the keeper. God is able. That's the God that I serve. Hallelujah. As I said, sometimes this verse runs controversial. What do you mean we can stand? And he's able to uh when we're when we're reading in Jude, he's able to keep us from falling. Well, because he's able to make him stand. Amen. I believe when God does something, he does it well. Amen. So when I allow the work, some of you are thanking God right now. Amen. Knowing, say, God, I need healing in my Bible. Heal me, amen, better than any doctor can. Amen. Do a work in me better than any man can. Amen. The hands of man or the hands of women. Do something, praise God, so that I can be a glory, I can be a living, a lively stone, a living witness, somebody to bring glory and praise and honor to the kingdom of God. Hallelujah. Look a little different, sound a little different because it's the gospel of Christ. Amen. I've said this before. Don't look at your brother and start talking. The Bible says, Um, John, is it first John chapter 4? Amen. If any man love God, if any man says he loves God and hates his brother, he is a liar. Amen. Read Revelation 21 in the eighth verse. Where do liars go? You do not want to be the liar. Amen. You do you don't want to be bashing on a brother or a sister. That's why when I look at my sister, I see the blood of Jesus Christ. And I have nothing to say. Amen. When I see my brother, I see the blood of Jesus Christ. Praise God. And I have nothing, I have nothing bad to say, I have something good to say. Praise God and hallelujah. Somebody called upon the name of Jesus. There is precious blood that washed away their sins. Praise God. Amen. We're wearing a robe of righteousness. My garment, amen. My sackcloth and ashes have been left behind. I have a garment of praise that I've received from God so that I can be on my way to heaven, find out what my new name is. Amen. And I get there because my name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. God is able. Amen. Praise God. Amen. God is a keeper. Praise God. Hallelujah. You don't want to be caught, you know, badmouthing or trashing a brother or a sister. You need to be careful. If you love God, amen. Brother can't hate his sister, brother can't hate his brother. Amen. Hallelujah. This is what John wrote. Amen. Hallelujah. Except when I see my brother. Amen. John says, You can see your brother, how can you not love him? Rather than God who we serve, who we don't see. Amen. How can he love God that he hath not seen? Because I'm walking not in the flesh, but in the spirit. Keep myself spiritual, the teachings of the last couple of weeks that you've heard. So the second part of this verse, Romans chapter 14 and the fourth verse, yea, he shall be holding up, for God is able to make him stand. Amen. Praise God.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01Are you glad for that? Amen. Is John 1 John chapter 4? Get you a little quiet. Maybe some of you are analyzing, say, uh oh, do I need to go to a sister and ask for forgiveness? Amen. Some of you, you might have to look outside of this building right now. I'm not just talking, you know, we have a clear conscience for those we see. Might be your neighbor, might be someone who used to come here and they're having trouble coming back. Quiet now. I'm going to keep the the the and today, just to give you a little foretelling of the message, today it the subtitle for the last in the series is Keep Your Mind on Christ. Amen. See, the gospel, the gospel which we read, the gospel that's in your hands, doesn't point you to another man. Oh, we're really quiet now. It doesn't point you to another woman. Amen. Every single word in this in my Bible that I'm holding up, if you're listening on radio, my King James Bible is in my hands. Every single word, every single verse that is in this book points. I don't care if you're reading Old Testament or New Testament, it points to Jesus Christ and Him crucified. We were out with the trailer in a parking lot. Gentleman came to me and he's mumbling and grumbling. The Old Testament, this, and the Old Testament that. You're telling me about Old Testament stuff. Old Testament, we don't go by the Old Testament. I said, Did you know Jesus Christ was an Old Testament preacher? He stopped his mumbling and his grumbling right there. He's realizing something for the first time. I'm not making fun, I'm just saying the expressions. You could read the body. Well, that's because he didn't have a New Testament. I said, You're wrong again. No, there was no New Testament. There certainly was. It was in his blood. When Jesus Christ was standing there before Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John wrote what they wrote, and James and anybody else. When Jesus Christ was standing there preaching the Old Testament, New Testament was flowing in his blood. Amen. You could say he was, or you could say he is, the New Testament. But Jesus Christ was an Old Testament preacher. Without the Old Testament, the Bible teaches me, teaches you, there would not be a new. So I thank God today. We need to. This is a a uh culture, a society that cancels things so quickly. Us folks with gray hairs, we used to fix things. When the toaster would break, you'd see your husband would take it apart and fix it and get it going again. Now we just toss it out and buy a new one. Amen. But this is not this is not something that we toss about. This is not something that we go by lightly. Amen. Society may have changed, but the word of God has not changed. Amen. As I said, the gospel of Christ points to Jesus Christ. Amen. Galatians chapter 5. Continue reading. Share this link. When you look around us, you can. I got brothers and sisters in short sleeves, so I'm the one with t-shirt, shirt, and tie, you know. Suit jacket. Sorry for the 30-second interlude. Galatians chapter 5. See, when I read Jude, and it's for God who is able to keep, that blesses me. Because when I look at the society that we live in, and not only that, when you when we read Luke chapter 17, Matthew chapter 24, Matthew chapter 25, since we're getting close to those end days, the final times, and Jesus said, as it was, this is Luke 17, as it was in the days of Lot. So when I go back and read Genesis chapter 18, 17, chapter 19, read about Lot and Abraham and the days that they live in, I need to be kept. Because if we're heading back towards those days, and I know some of you saying, hold on for preacher, we're not heading back, we're already there. When they can't sleep or eat without thinking evil, when they've given up what God made us, how God made us and what God made for us naturally in the flesh, when they've given that up, turned themselves over, the Bible says in Romans chapter 1. For those of you who don't mind the New Testament and the Old Testament, in Romans chapter 1, where Paul was writing them in that what God, how God created us for a natural use, a man and a woman. And when the Bible says, when you look back into the days of Lot, they had already given that up. The Bible says, and they would burn in their lusts, one for another, contrary to what is natural, contrary to what how God made you and I. And this is the day we live in. If you don't know where I'm where I'm from or where this broadcast is coming from, Central Newfoundland, which is in Canada. And we have a prime minister that loves us, it's it's in his family. So he loves all this kind of stuff where the devil destroys the creation of God, trying to modify what God has created and made wonderfully. The devil has come, he's not only come to kill, he's come to to uh as a thief, he's come to steal and he's come to destroy. And what works for the devil, I don't see that being destroyed. That's not what he's after. He's after what God has made, what God has given us, but I thank God that my God is a keeper. I thank God that my God is able. And I want to read something in Galatians chapter 5, because I'm not talking about everybody. There's a category of folks that can stand and say, I'm saved and I'm sanctified and I'm filled with the Holy Ghost. I've repented of my sin. Galatians chapter 5 in the 24th verse it says, and they that are Christ. I underlined that portion of that verse. So if you have a highlighter or a pen at home, they that are Christ. It doesn't say everyone. Hey man, who do you belong to today? They have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Amen. When I say God as a keeper, God's not keeping sin. God doesn't keep disobedience. Amen. He'll take you in, he'll clean you up. He'll wash that stuff, he'll wash that sin away. Someone say thank you, Jesus. So that you can be kept as a vessel that is sanctified, the Bible says. Meet for his use. Meet for the master's use. And this is where our society, this is where we fall short today, because there's something missing in a man and a woman. They don't belong to Christ. And this is where I'm going to change the direction a little bit in the next two, three passages that we're going to read. And they that are Christ have crucified the flesh with the affliction with the affections and the lust. Let's find out what Paul, this is what Paul wrote to the church in Galatia. Let's find out what Paul wrote to the church in the Colossians. Turn if you would. First chapter. I can keep reading. Well, since two people said amen, I'll keep reading. Yes, my brother. Thank you, Jesus. Verse 28 and 29, Colossians chapter 1. Whom we preach, his name is. So I'm gonna read it, then I'm gonna come back. Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Someone say in Christ. Remember what we read in Jude chapter 1 in the 24th verse? It used the word, he shall be kept from falling and to present and be presented faultless. Amen. Now we're reading here different words, different writer, same Holy Ghost. Whom we preach, underline the word preach. Warning every man and teaching underline the word teaching. Amen. I was told the shore a while ago saying you shouldn't be preaching, and you shouldn't be teaching. There's none of that anymore. And ended in the days of Acts. Sorry you think it ended in the days of Acts because here I'm standing preaching, and here I'm standing teaching, just like Jesus said, go you into all the world and teach. Preach. Hallelujah. Baptize. Amen. This is who we are in Christ. Someone say in Christ. Galatians chapter 5. They that are Christ. Now we're reading in Colossians chapter 1. They that are in Christ. Praise God. Is that where you are today? The next verse says, Whereunto I also labor. And I understand I underline the word labor. Amen. May look easy, but it's not easy. Amen. May have received it, may have gotten it freely, but when you go to give it, praise God, there's a sacrifice that we need to make. Amen. We cannot be the one or the two or the people sitting at home waiting for God to do something. Don't play the waiting, the waiting game with God. Hallelujah. You read there's an account in the book of Kings where nothing much was being done until four leprous men stood up and they said, Well, we may as well go to the camp of the enemy. They kind of analyze things. They say, Well, back home, they won't let us back in because we're leprous. Can't go home. If we see what's happening in the camp of the enemy, there seems to be an abundance of food and whatever other partying is going on, let's go there. And I read where four leprous men got up, and God looking from the if from the throne of glory looks down and saying, Four leprous men, now I have something I can use. I can make four leprous men sound like an army is approaching, sound like the army of God, even the Lord of hosts. Hallelujah! That's just to encourage you to get up whereunto I also labor. Verse 29, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. What's that word mightily mean? In full control, hallelujah. God is a keeper, God is able. It's working in me mightily, amen. That means that there is success, there is results. Amen. God is able. Praise God. Can someone say amen? Paul writing to Timothy in the second epistle, find the second epistle of Timothy in the second chapter. We have got to belong to Christ. Amen. Do you belong? I'm asking you a question. Do you belong? I'm not asking you if you belong to a church. I'm asking you, and not asking if you belong to a group or society. I'm asking you, do you belong to Christ? Let's read what Paul wrote to Timothy. I'm gonna pray in a few minutes, so let's get ready to to make a if you haven't yet done this, make your commitment to God so that we can belong to Him and none other. Verse 19, 2 Timothy 2 and verse 19. Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal. The Lord knoweth them that are his. You can underline those four words. And let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Who belongs to God? Who belongs to Jesus? No hands going up. Who belongs to Jesus at home? I want to see some emoji hands. Some thankful hands. This is the foundation of God. I'm not asking someone if you belong to a church. Maybe there's one church that has the exception. Jesus said, Upon this rock I build. This is Jesus talking. This is not my church. This is Jesus talking. Upon this rock, amen. I build. This is Jesus talking. My church. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Amen. Solid rock. What was solid? What was the name of the church? I don't remember a name of the church. Well, the name I like to put on it is the name Peter used. Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Church. Flesh and blood has not revealed this name doesn't come from this earth. I know people argue. And debate. And they sit there and say, Well, we're of the oneness. We're of the Jesus only. We're of the, I know, three and one, we're of the trilogy. And it's just my mind starts to get all mixed up. Jesus said, Why are you upset with me? Because I said I am the Son of God. Is that not what Jesus said in the book of John? What did Jesus say? I am the Son of God. How many times does Jesus have to say that before you can understand what Jesus was saying? He is the Son of God. You got churches full of people, hundreds of people. They have trouble saying these things. Oh, we don't see it that way, we don't believe it that way. Even devils hit the ground. Thou art the Christ, thou art the Son of God. Why are you coming to bother us? Don't torture us before our time, thou son of God. This is who I belong to. I don't want to belong to confusion. Amen. I don't want to belong to something that is contrary or that is outside of this word. That's why I said, I don't guess. I don't second guess. I read my Bible. Amen. When I need help, the Bible says, call upon the Lord. Amen. God, I need to understand this. And by that, with the help of the Holy Ghost, who's helping us today read what we're reading? So Holy Ghost. You hear me pray? The Holy Ghost, help us, lead us, guide us as we open up. Make sure we turn to the right page. Get the right chapter, get the right verse. Outside this book, everything but right. Thank you, my sister, for that. Amen. Amen. Outside of the word of God is everything but right. Amen. It's everything and anything the devil can and will use to distract us, to take us away from the truth. Amen. If he can get you or me sitting there going, well, maybe if, but uh, you know, start naysaying a little bit. And it doesn't take much. How many of you sisters bake bread? I think every sister is gonna go up. I say all the sisters got their hands up because they all have baked bread. And you ever added what'd you say, brother? Oh, you pay for the flour. Okay, hallelujah. Well, that's good, right? You give and you receive. My brother, you give and you receive homemade bread. Amen. What I want to zero hone in on is the leaven. Amen. I don't break, I don't bake the bread either. But I've seen leaven, and that's some small little seeds, if you want to call it. Small, but it's very, very small. And so when the Bible uses leaven, I think the size of leaven is plays a role into why it's being uh pointed out in the scriptures. In other words, um, well, my brother, since you and I are having this conversation, the the lump of flour is like that big, and you pour compared in size or compared to the amount, very little leaven to get it to a dough. Is it dough? You all can tell I've never been in the kitchen. So the lump of dough is not very big. Then you add the leaven to it, and what happens?
unknownIt rises. It grows.
SPEAKER_01And the Bible teaches me, this is not cookbook, this is not Google, this is the Bible teaches me a little leaven. What happens when there's a little leaven lingering around? The whole lump gets leavened. Amen. It doesn't take much. That's why we need to be careful. That's what I was saying a few minutes ago. Saying, do you get mad sometimes when you preach? Yes, because the devil is there in my head as I preach it, the devil's saying, Don't say that. Don't walk down that street. You're gonna lose some amen, so you're gonna lose some people, you're gonna lose some offerings because people and offerings always go together. The devil's always there battling my side. So when I get angry, I'm not getting angry at you or the people sitting in front of me. Amen. You see me pacing back and forth, you think I'm the only one pacing back and forth? I know when I've Worn out the devil because all of a sudden there's a freedom that is unleashed 100%. Say the devil's given up now, he's gone on his way. Said everything I needed to say today to the glory of God. Because a little leaven. Don't stop me, don't block me, because I have I'm fully intentioned to endure until the end. Hallelujah. That's why sometimes, and I'll use the expression again, my blood pressure rises a little bit higher than normal. Amen. Because there is something that is worth all of eternity. Amen. My eternal life. The place where Jesus Christ has come to make for you and I. Heard a young man say that Jesus Christ, after all the work he did on the cross, he went and he's taking a break, he's on like on a holiday. Excuse me, sir? Make an intercession for you and I? I wouldn't call that a holiday. Amen. Not from where I've been come from. Some of you sitting there like you're really, really holy. Come on. Amen. Jesus did a work on the cross. But since then, having said, I'll never leave you and I'll never forsake you. Amen. I know a God who went on holidays. Prophet Elijah was there saying, Shout a little louder. He's down on the beach somewhere, you gotta shout. Cry. Make a fuss. When Elijah called upon the God that I serve, the God whom we serve today, the Bible says, God answered with fire. God answered, amen. How the man of God called upon God, God answered. And you and I today, we need to have, we need to have made that call. I'm gonna read one last passage before we pray. Go back to the book of Colossians. You're either his or you're not. And in Colossians, the last, the third chapter, sorry, the third chapter in Colossians, when Christ who is verse 4, when Christ who is our life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him. That's what I underlined, with him. Because he knows. We have just what Paul wrote to Timothy, he says, the Lord knows, he knows them that are his. Amen. And asking the question, are you you're either his or you're not? Young man in the old testament asked the question, are you with us or are you against us? Joshua standing looking at someone who is unknown, and he's saying, Well, this can only go two ways. You're either with us, you're either for us or against us. That's how the truth works. That's how the truth has been established. You're either for what we're reading, you're either with this gospel or you're not. You're either his, read what Paul is writing to the church. Someone say, I am with him. Amen. And when he appears, I am with him. Amen. When he comes to when he comes to receive us, the Bible says to be caught up in the air when he comes, I will be with him. At any moment, amen. Hallelujah. I'm with him now, I'm with him forever. Say it. I am with him now, I am with him forever. Well, how can you say that? Because God is a keeper. Because my God is a keeper. Praise God. I'm not going anywhere. Let's stand. We're gonna pray. Thank God I'm kept. Hallelujah. God is able, God is a keeper. Amen. In Christ, someone say in Christ. Praise God. Put your hands up, be thankful for the word. Hallelujah. Let's give God the praise and the glory for this beautiful day. Some of us will be leaving in a few minutes. I'm talking to the folks standing in front of me. You online, amen. Be blessed. Some of you will be leaving, but we're not, we may quit this place, but we're not going to quit the word. The preaching that we've heard. Hallelujah. Praise God. Talk to God. I want to hear you talk to God. At home, the same thing too. Amen. Everyone in front of me, they're standing with their hands up. Time to talk to God. Well, I don't know what to say. Begin by saying thank you, Jesus. Thank you, God, for you so love this world. That you gave your only begotten Son. You sent and he went. And whosoever believeth upon him shall not perish. But have everlasting life. Praise his holy name. Keep talking. No way you've run out of things to be thankful for in less than 30 seconds. At home is the same thing. If this is the life you want, you don't have it yet. I'm going to pray with you. And I'm going to pray for you in a few seconds. We're just getting warmed up. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Are you thankful for the word which we have received today?
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_01Hallelujah. Father in heaven, we give you the praise and the glory for where we stand in Christ. I'm not looking at a building, I'm not looking at a civil address. I'm looking at your son Jesus Christ to be in him. New creature. Old things having passed. All things having become new. Thank God you are able to keep us where we stand upon this rock. Hallelujah. Gates of hell can prevail, do what they feel like doing. We stand. I shall not be moved. This is my testimony today. Because of what we have heard, because of what we have what we have received. Confirmation from your word. Jesus' name. Thank God for my brothers and sisters standing with me. Maybe all the way to Africa, whoever is listening, across this nation, across Canada. For we stand not alone. The promise that we have, you will never leave us, you will never forsake us. We are not abandoned. Despite the circumstances and the situation, whatever's taking place across this land, I thank God today is your day. It's the Lord's day. Praise God. And we can come into your presence and worship you and serve you. Receive the teaching and the preaching of the Word of God. In Jesus' name, Lord, I thank God for it. Thank God for every word which was read, which has proceeded out of your mouth today. For we live by those words. Words of spirit, words of life. Now I pray if somebody is repenting right now, looking for a better way, a better life, there is only one way, one life, that's in Jesus Christ. He is that way, he is that life. And that's the truth, because he is the truth. Call upon the name of the Lord, you shall be saved. You believe it in your heart, you confess it with your tongue. Romans chapter 10 gives us that teaching. In salvation, you get to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You get to know him as in salvation. This is what you need to do today. You heard a message if it has convicted you to turn from your old ways, then do that right now. I don't know who I'm talking to, but if I'm talking to somebody that wants their life changed, it begins with what we read right here in the Word of God. The truth of the of his word. In Christ, there is therefore now no condemnation to them who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit in Christ. You either belong to God, you either belong to Jesus or you don't. You are his or you are not. The message is simple, and I beseech you to take it to heart and do what you're do what you need to do. It may be contrary to the flesh, maybe contrary to your family, maybe contrary to the lusts of men and women. Rather to be contrary to God, rather to be in enmity with God, because that's where the carnal mind lies. In enmity with God. Rather to be an enemy of God, take a hold of this word today. Call upon Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. Father, I pray there's one person somewhere, anywhere, as they repent, as they ask for forgiveness. You said you will forgive. As the east is far away from the west as the west is far away from the east. It doesn't matter what they did this morning, what they did for the for their life up to this point, life changes. Give them life and give it to them more abundantly. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. And amen. Praise God. God is a keeper. Praise God. Don't lose that. Don't lose that message. Don't forget what we heard today. Praise God. And I want you to know God in that way. Praise God. Hallelujah. Praise God. I don't know who's listening. I don't know how many people are online, but I'm sure my brothers and sisters here in Newfoundland, we are so happy. We have joy that you joined with us today, this morning. We are blessed. All of us, we're going to give God a good hand. Give God a good hand. Those visiting with us. My name is Lincoln. You're listening to That's the Truth. Be blessed. We'll see you in a few hours in French, a few more hours in English. Be blessed until the next time. Praise God. I love each and every one of you. Amen. Our sister's gonna play us out. Praise God. Hallelujah.
