Welcome PE Nation!

We I share five simple mantras that help us teach better, especially when PE gets tough with heat days, indoor constraints, and the constant need to stay upbeat. I connect each mindset to real moments from sports, work, and school so you can pick one weakness to target and get 1% better each day.

• embracing the grind when conditions make teaching harder
• building relationships by staying friendly and consistent with quiet or grumpy students
• using JFG to stop overthinking and act in students’ best interest
• spotting when “good” becomes a trap that blocks real growth
• keeping moving forward during mistakes, malfunctions, and sudden changes
• reviewing the five mantras to find one focus area

Happy teaching,

Dave
