Emily Bateman, a millennial woman who never got into Game of Thrones, finally sits down to watch and analyze each consecutive episode of the popular HBO show. With the help of her sister, Kate Koballa, and sometimes a guest, Emily tries to figure out what the heck is going on in the show, why it was so popular at the time and who is actually going to win the game of thrones (if there actually is a winner at the end).

This month on Game of Groans, Emily and Kate talk about Episode 9 of Season 4, The Watchers on the Wall.

They discuss Air Bud, Jon doing nothing, OSHA violations, Sam's character development, Die Hard, Jon's father figure body count, Chekov's bow, spoilers for Midsommar, Styr's really weird walk, and rock climbing.

Additionally, Emily wants to know if Winter has come, Kate admits she should remember what has happened in the show since she has seen it, and they both felt bad for Jon in this episode.
