As we continue in Jacob's life we now notice how the One True God, speaks to Jacob's Father-in-law and warns him about mistreating Jacob. Laban is upset about Jacob's unannounced departure and the theft of his household Gods. What could have been possibly a very bad moment in Jacob's life, God uses the moment to demonstrate to Jacob His faithfulness and protection. God can be trusted. He is always faithful in taking moments in our life that are meant for harm and using them for our good. Why? Because HE is the One True God.
