In an alternate 17th century European setting, a plague ravages the people of the continent. Players must travel to a magical island to navigate politics, monsters, and the supernatural in hopes of finding a cure.
The Tip and the Top:
- Fascinating world building
- Excellent soundtrack
- Narrative has some interesting elements
The Flip and the Flop:
- Facial animation and lip syncing are sub-par
- Typos and grammatical errors in the subtitles are a chronic problem
- Building interiors and NPC faces are reused too frequently
- Unbalanced combat
- Too expensive at $50
