Meditation is practiced in one of three modes according to LiveandDare.com:

  • Concentration: focusing attention on a single object, internal or external (focused attention meditation)
  • Observation: paying attention to whatever is predominant in your experience in the present moment, without allowing the attention to get stuck on any particular thing (open-monitoring meditation)

  •  "The ability to be present, to rest in the here and now, fully engaged with whatever we’re doing in the moment." - Headspace.com

WHAT IT ISN’T

  • "Isn’t about becoming a different person, a new person, or even a better person. It’s about training in awareness and getting a healthy sense of perspective. " - Headspace.com

WHAT IT IS

  • Deep Relaxation 
  • YOUR Time
  • Time to be selfish
  • Putting your thoughts/ego on standby

HOW TO

  • Breathing
  • Guided Meditations
  • Body Scans
  • Be the observer of your thoughts
  • Don't react
  • Smile
  • Talking to your self via self-love
  • Surrender
  • Stop trying so fucking hard
