With the 2026 FIFA World Cup in full swing, Tom, Kev and Brian decided it was high time to take a look back at the Sega Dreamcast's own digital representations of "the beautiful game" that is football (or soccer, for you 'Mericans).

The lads rank the nine officially released football-related titles for the system, along with Premier Eleven, the long-thought-lost Atomiswave arcade title that was recently preserved and ported to the Dreamcast. The Dreamcast football games are a weird bunch, occasionally showing flashes of brilliance, while just as often scoring spectacular own goals. But which game takes home the trophy?
