Some women may experience excessive menstrual bleeding. This sometimes could defined as soaking a pad or tampon every two hours or less, bleeding that lasts longer than eight days, or Anemia from excessive blood loss. One effective and quick-recovery procedure to help excessive menstrual bleeding is called endometrial ablation. We met with Ogden Clinic OB/GYN Dr. Daniel Ferguson to talk about this procedure and its efficiency in helping women stop and reduce excessive heavy menstrual bleeding.
