Amy’s professional journey includes pivotal roles such as the Director of Innovation and Head of Global Division and Online Programs at Lab School in Washington, DC, where she spearheaded curriculum development, instructional design, and the growth of online programs. Amy’s expertise spans instructional theories, e-learning design, and educational technology. Her leadership in strategic planning, special needs education, and community engagement underscores her dedication to creating inclusive and innovative learning environments.
Amy is deeply interested in ways assistive tech, including AI, can augment learning for our neurodiverse humans. She believes anyone can do anything if given the right tools – and so is pursuing her own research into constructing the first ever human prehensile tail.
