This is part of my ultimate guide to racing the Megavalanche! The race itself has been classed as the longest downhill race in the world. For the planning to take it on expect chaos with some stories to tell the grandkids!

The Megavalanche begins up at Pic Blanc at 3300mts and drops 2600mts to Vaujany across a 22 mile trail.

The Megavalanche is based in Alp D' Huez, the town gets taken over by riders from around the world for a week of hard riding, racing and good times!
