In this episode, Naomi chats to ACM Master Daniel Smith about people and culture. 

Daniel’s career path to over 15 years of organisational change management was via banking and finance. Repeated experiences of retrenchment were pivotal to his career.   During the final retrenchment, he observed a good change manager at work. It put on his heart a burning desire to advocate for those who are impacted by change and to help others through periods of career transition.  Daniel is an assessor with the CMI accreditation program.

In our conversation, he emphasises keeping talent within an organisation, because the cost to do otherwise impacts the very DNA of an organisation.
