The Song of the Redeemed (Psalm 107)

Main Idea—The LORD redeems his people from every trouble so they may join in the song of the redeemed.   

Introduction: A call to worship the Lord, for he is good, and his steadfast love endures forever. (1-3)

I. He satisfies the longing soul (4-9)   
Let those who are weary of wandering thank the LORD who fills them with good.   

II. He sets the captives free (11-17)   
Let those who are captives of their own rebellion thank the LORD who breaks their chains.   

III. He gives joy to the sin-sick (18-22)   
Let those who are overcome by shame thank the LORD who gives them songs of joy.   

IV. He rescues the storm-tossed (23-32)   
Let those storm-tossed thank the LORD who brings them safely home.
