I. Without the risen Christ, nothing makes sense. (24:13-24)   
II. Christ shows up and makes everything make sense. (24:25-35)

THEREFORE: It is our mission to know Christ and make him known. In the words of Luke’s gospel, we carry on the work of the first disciples, “that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations.” (24:47)
