Sermon Series: Between Two Worlds

Speaker: Pastor Josh Sherrell

__________

Description: In the last passage, Peter focused on our individual identity as children of God and our responsibility within the family of God. As children, we love one another earnestly and grow together diligently. Here he shifts to our corporate identity: the church as a dwelling place for God, built on the foundation of Christ the Cornerstone, for the proclamation of Christ as a living witness to the world. This passage also concludes the first major section and hinges to the practical aspects of living as chosen strangers on a journey between two worlds in the remainder of the letter.
