S02-E08 THE BATTLE OF KETTONRIDGE
EXT. URSULA MINE OFFICE CAVERN
(HARTMANN, KOCH, SCHMIDT)
SCHMIDT
Sargent, the power has tripped, all
reactor feeds are showing red. We
have zero power.
KOCH
Do we have sufficient backup?
SCHMIDT
Not really Sir, we are still
waiting for the cargo carrier with
the containerised reactors. We are
running on batteries, we have five
minutes at most.
KOCH
Shitza, that's going to be a major
issue. Contact HARTMANN, tell him
to stop using the rail guns
immediately. Switch the troops
over to conventional weapons.
SCHMIDT
We are light on conventional
ammunition sir. We haven't
received the drop ship resupplies,
there was an issue at the docks.
KOCH
God dam it! The fools. We are
fighting with our hands tied behind
our backs. Go to plan B, make a
redoubt and go defensive. Tell
HARTMANN to go easy on the use of
the projectile weapons.
SCHMIDT
He is on line one sir!
HARTMANN
KOCH, what the hell is going on, we
can't fight a war with no power and
no ammunition!
EXT. URSULA RCBS LANDING ZONE
(BOY, CALVIN)
BOY
The enemies fire rate is well down.
Looks like JACINTA and team were
successful! (Pause) Sargent start
the auto pogos and send in the
drone swarms. Make sure the troops
set their pogo thrust vectoring to
random. Let's start to bite back
and make them pay. Activate the
flank teams Beta and Theta.
CALVIN
Very good sir, Corporal SMITH,
advance to position five and deploy
auto-pogos maximum random jet use
please. Get the forward teams on
line and tell them to start moving
forward.
EXPLOSION
BOY
That was close, Sargent tell the
troops not to get cocky, just snipe
away and defeat them in detail. We
don't need excessive casualties.
Tell them to pogo up at maximum
thrust, then fire and retro boost
down. Tell them we do not need to
conserve fuel, this will be over
very quickly. It might be a good
idea for them not to hang around at
perigee, we need unpredictable
trajectories. CALVIN Can we target
their radar?
INT. MINE TUNNEL BY POWER REACTORS
(ALEX, CHEN, COSTAS, JACINTA, SHARROW, ZED)
JACINTA
(Whispered) COSTAS I can't see any
troops in the mine offices
direction, what does the decline to
the portal look like?
COSTAS
(Whispered) It's as black as all
hell down there Ma'am. If the
enemy is in waiting, then they are
not close. We would surely hear
some noise. The infra red is clear
and the ultrasound scan is showing
nothing. If any troops are going to
come down it will be from the
office direction. It's only 40km.
JACINTA
Yep I'll bet there's a party
heading this way as we speak. CHEN,
can you make sure that they can't
fire up the reactor to provide
power. We need to leave now and
get down to the miners.
CHEN
No problem, I have taken out the
control electronics for the master
bus. I have the spares as well.
They can't power up the reactor
because there is no way to
dissipate the output. Spin them up
now and they'll blow for sure. I
have them running on absolute
minimum into a dummy load and thats
glowing red hot.
JACINTA
ALEX have you got our captives
comfortable.
ALEX
Yep, sleeping like trussed up
turkeys and locked in one of the
adjacent rooms.
JACINTA
OK, let's get out and weld these
doors up. That will buy as some
time. We need to get down to the
head end and snipe at the
barricades from behind.
ALEX
Roger on that. SHARROW can you
hand me that, laser welder, please.
RUMMAGING IN BAG
SHARROW
Is this it?
ALEX
Yep. Guys you go on, SHAS and me
will follow up on the rear, you
need to get down that tunnel and
support those miners.
JACINTA
Well OK, but I'm not happy about
that. I don't like splitting the
team.
ZED
I'll hang back and act as spotter.
I can go up towards the office
direction and look out on
infrared. I have a small drone as
well. I can send up the tunnel. It
has a range of about three
kilometres, so that will give us
some warning.
ALEX
Yes true, but if they crash into
it, they will know we are can
detect them. Could you fly it up
and then set it down so they go
speeding by. If its cold their
infrared will miss it. Can you put
it behind a rock, nestle it in.
Good thoughts though ZED thats
great! Thanks for the help.
SHARROW
Yes, good on you ZED!
WELDING
JACINTA
OK, then, off we go. COSTAS, set
the retro's for glide mode and use
the ultrasound to keep us to the
middle of the tunnel.
ALEX
I hate long goodbyes, now get
going!
WELDING
JACINTA
Don't forgot those fan doors, use
ultrasound! ALEX there are
fourteen sets of doors, every ten
kilometres.
ALEX
Roger that. ZED stay close to wall,
behind a rock if you can. Look
after yourself. Just poke any
sensors around the rock. Any signs
of echos, pings of any sort. Get
the hell out of there. Radio us
immediately, we need time to rig
these battery packs. I want to set
these to blow up with the heat. Oh
and ZED you go past us and wait by
the last fan door right we will see
you there.
ZED
OK, see you soon. I'd better get on
the look out.
SOUNDS OF GAS
JETS AND ZED
MOVING AWAY
JACINTA
OK guys, see you at the bottom of
this tunnel, don't hang around.
SOUNDS OF GAS
JETS THREE
PERSONS MOVING
AWAY
SHARROW
Well, that was unexpected from ZED.
I must say I feel that that boy is
really growing up.
ALEX
I think he is starting to feel part
of the team. At least I would like
to think so. Lets get with this
welding and I'll try not to burn
holes in my suit!
SHARROW
Yep holes in suit. Not a good look.
You know, ALEX, ZED is becoming a
real asset. Of course he has a
massive crush on SOPHIE, but then
who wouldn't. She's as smart as a
whippet, beauty and brains.
ALEX
Yep, its a deadly combination.
LAUGHTER
ZED
ALEX, SHARROW I hear noises and I
think I got a blip on the infra red
on the drone.
ALEX
ZED move now, they'll be coming
down that tunnel at a fair pace.
SHAS pack up we need to move. I'll
take the laser welder, don't want
them using it to cut back in. Lets
hope they didn't bring there own
cutters.
SHARROW
Come on ZED don't dawdle!
ALEX
I can see him!
SOUND OF ZED
ENTERING TUNNEL
ALL JETS FIRING
ZED
Hi!
ALEX
OK, buddy keep going. We will be
following behind you. Watch for
those fan doors! Come on SHAS lets
get out of here!
SHARROW
Ohhhh, these jets are tricky!
ALEX
Use your implant interface. Set to
auto avoidance, that will keep you
centred in the tunnels. (Pause) Oh,
my, how I have grown! (In southern
drawl) I never thought I would be
telling someone on how to use the
combat modes in implants!
SHARROW
Yep, I never thought I would hear
those words come out of you're
mouth Ms Angel!
SOUND OF JETS
TIME PASSING
LAUGHTER
ALEX
Wheeee, this is fun, I'm enjoying
the rush. Its like a huge roller
coaster ride. (Pause) So by my
calculations we should be coming up
on the last door. I recon about on
five kilometres to go. I'm hoping
ZED has stopped at that door and is
waiting for us. Go easy on the
trigger cow gurl. After that we
need to proceed much more
cautiously. We need to come up
behind JACINTA and COSTAS who I am
sure are shooting the shit out of
those Friedlanders from behind. We
really don't want to over shoot.
SHARROW
Yep, I thought I could hear
distant sound of gunfire. I'm
ready lets get this over with.
ALEX
I'm just going to squeeze down
another coffee, before the
excitement.
SHARROW
I don't believe how much coffee you
can get through with out peeing all
the time!
ALEX
How do you know I'm not!
INT. MINERS CAMP PORTAL
(BURAKOWSKI, GHOST, SUARES)
GHOST
Gentlemen I have been sent to you,
to convey the message that the
Royal and Cherry Blue Storms (Shi,
Shi Shieett) regiment has accepted
your contract and is at this very
moment, engaged in combat with the
owners mercenaries.
BURAKOWSKI
Well, you don't look like much of a
message. Whats with the rusty
Avatar and the broken vocodar?
GHOST
Looks can be (Shi, Shi Shieett)
deceptive. It's an old war wound!
BURAKOWSKI
Well, I'm not buying it. Why
haven't we received further
information? You are deliberately
keeping us in the dark.
GHOST
Gentlemen (Shi, Shi Shieett)you
must understand the need for
security in combat situations.
BURAKOWSKI
Securities one thing, but we have
received no information at all. Why
are you not telling us of you
plans?
GHOST
Well, I don't like to say this but
we strongly believe you may have
(Shi, Shi Shieett) owners agents in
your team.
MURMERING AND
UNREST IN MINERS
BURAKOWSKI
Impossible, we are all long term
members of the mining union and
have all worked in this mine
alongside one another. We are like
brothers.
GHOST
Well, (Shi, Shi Shieett) based on
historic information, the owners go
to some length to infiltrate your
union in order to cast fear,
uncertainty (Shi, Shi Shieett) and
doubt. Their aim is weaken the
miners stance against the owners,
whom ever they are. Its a well
known technique amongst you humans.
BURAKOWSKI
Well, thats bull shit, ain't it
brothers! What do you machines know
about humans.
SHOUTS OF
AGREEMENT AND
UNREST
GHOST
Well, whatever you think, I have
been instructed only to divulge the
bare minimum of information.
Suffice to say that you need to
keep sniping at the barricades in
the incline. Oh and get prepared
for full out assault against the
barrier when the time comes. I
have also been instructed to say
that there will shortly be a cut to
the power. You should prepare for
a few hours lower temperatures. I
will be joined by a colleague once
action commences. She will be
landing one of our troop carriers,
with a designation of 'Do you
really love me' on the transponder
return. It will be empty of
troops. You will need to defend it
as it is a possible fall back
should our plans not work out.
BURAKOWSKI
What the f***. I don't take kindly
to being ordered around by an A.I.
in a rusty tin suit. Why didn't
the Royal and Cherry.., What the
hell was your chicken shit outfit
called again?
GHOST
Just call us the RCBS its easier.
BURAKOWSKI
Well I don't take kindly to being
ordered around by you.
GHOST
Well, as far as I can see, we are
the only one's on your side. I
don't spy anyone else cueing up to
support you. So its either take our
offer, or starve to death here,
until the owners retake this
cavern. Now are you going to
continue shouting and raving or
will you actually do something.
BURAKOWSKI
Oh, I'm going to do something! Boys
secure this tin monstrosity. SUARES
get that wire rope and tie this
ROBOT up. Put it over in the
corner. Let me think.
SUARES
Yes boss, but what if it is right,
shouldn't we be at least be keeping
those company soldiers busy.
BURAKOWSKI
Look SUARES, stop complaining and
just dump the robot in the corner.
SUARES
What should we do?
BURAKOWSKI
Well, just in case this thing is
right, get all the warm materials
you can and get all the women and
children in one side room, with
blankets and sleeping bags. If the
power goes off its going to get
cold and very stuffy in here. Do
we have any oxygen?
SUARES
We have a small amount it will last
a couple of hours, but I'm more
worried about the carbon dioxide
and the scrubbers. If the fans go
there will be a lethal build up.
BURAKOWSKI
How long will the batteries last?
SUARES
I guess a day or so. If we only
use them for the scrubbers and a
couple of lights.
BURAKOWSKI
Well make sure the power doesn't
get wasted on non essentials. Get
moving. If that Robot thing is
correct we will see some action.
INT. SHIP CONTROL ROOM 'DO YOU STILL LOVE ME'
(BOY, DOILY)
DOILY
BOY, I'm nearing the Miners
redoubt. I'm going to land very
close to their lock doors.
BOY
Roger, your missing a hell of a
party down at this end, it's like
the forth of July!
DOILY
I always miss the good parties,
Major. You of all people should
know that! Dusting off now. Going
variable. I'll contact you on the
scrambler when I'm in.
BOY
Roger that.
AIRLOCK OPENING,
SUIT BREATHING.
INT. MINERS CAMP PORTAL
(ALEX, B, BECKER, BOY, BURAKOWSKI, CHEN, COSTAS, DOILY,
GHOST, JACINTA, SHARROW, SUARES)
SUARES
Boss, theres a women outside the
port lock, sounds very angry.
BURAKOWSKI
Put her on.
DOILY
What the f***, I've been outside
for five minutes, knocking on the
lock. Now are you going to let me
in or should I radio my boss and
call off the whole operation. From
this side it looks like you guys
are lacking in enthusiasm. Is GHOST
in there?
BURAKOWSKI
Identify yourself!
DOILY
I'm Captain Caroline CART'E pilot
of troop ship 'Do you really love
me'. I'm a member of the RCBS
Mercenary regiment. You may have
noticed that we are really trying
very hard to save your sorry arses.
Now are you going to open the door
or will I have to use the ships
heavy guns to force my way. I need
to speak with my soldier in arms
and friend. She informs me you
have rudely rejected the hand of
friendship by restraining her.
BURAKOWSKI
Ahh. Oh. We didn't mean any harm!
DOILY
Well, which way do you want to go.
The hard way or the easy way?
BURAKOWSKI
Hmmm. SUARES open the door, let her
in.
AIRLOCK OPENING,
SUIT BREATHING.
DOILY
Thats better. (Taking helmet off)
Ohh, its stale in here, looks like
you might choke on your own Carbon
Dioxide. Now which one of you
pricks, tied my friend up?
BURAKOWSKI
Ahh,
DOILY
Oh, its you! Is that all you can
say.
Why is it always the ugly one. Now
look buster, we don't have time to
mess around. Release my friend
immediately.
BURAKOWSKI
OK, boys do as she says.
DOILY
Are you really such a back birth?
What have you got against A.Is?
BURAKOWSKI
I'm sorry Captain, we just thought
it was strange that the robot was
so beaten up. She has a strange
leg as well and weird voice box.
DOILY
Well appearances can be deceiving.
Now if I'm correct the power will
be going off very shortly. We need
to up the anti against that barrier
in the tunnel. I have some charges
in my back pack, we need to place
them.
SOUND OF POWER
DOWNS AND LIGHTS
CHANGING TO
BATTERY POWER.
SUARES
Power is off boss.
DOILY
As expected, we have a team at the
power reactors.
BURAKOWSKI
What the hell are you doing? If
you damage them the mine is done.
The cost of replacement is
enormous.
DOILY
Look, we know what we are doing.
We have just turned them off. Jeez,
stop being such a pussy. We have a
battle to win. We need two people
to plant some demolition charges.
BURAKOWSKI
Demolition charges, what the hell
are you going to do?
DOILY
Look relax, don't you worry, let us
do the tactical stuff. Just get
your people ready to engage the
enemy at the barrier. I would say
we have about an hour to wait. Now
how about a cup of coffee or
perhaps something slightly
stronger?
BURAKOWSKI
Well, we have a camp kitchen and
pro-ration meals, but this is not
exactly a hotel. SUARES make our
'guests' comfortable.
DOILY
(Whispered) You OK GHOST they
didn't do anything to you did they.
GHOST
No DOILY they were just a little
impolite, but no harm done.
DOILY
(Whispered) Look sorry about these
rednecks. There is no telling some
people. Lets get some refreshments
and await the signal from JACINTA.
Bye the way how is your throwing
arm?
GHOST
Very accurate, (Shi, Shi Shieett)
but then its backed by radar and
precise servos.
DOILY
Good, thats what I thought. I
think you should have the honour to
deliver our explosive 'coo de gra'
to that barrier.
GHOST
It will be my pleasure, I'm looking
forward to it!
DOILY
What is the bosses name, I forgot
to ask!
GHOST
BURAKOWSKI
DOILY
BURAKOWSKI, where is that coffee
you promised!
TIME PASSING
JACINTA
DOILY, are you receiving this,
there is a lot of rock between us.
DOILY
JACINTA receiving you clearly.
Status is that we are primed ready
to go, on your command.
JACINTA
Good, I'm two kilometres away and
the rest of the team have joined
me. We are cautiously making our
way down to the barricades. Place
the charges and set for immediate
discharge, we should be up behind
them shortly. It will distract the
troops whilst we get positioned
with cover.
DOILY
Roger, that, see you shortly.
GHOST lets place those charges set
for immediate discharge. BURAKOWSKI
can you ready you troops to start
laying into the barricades as soon
as the demolition is done. Shoot
from the sides, not down the
tunnel. We have our own troops
coming up from behind. Look for the
Blue uniforms.
THROWING SOUND
GHOST
Charge one is away. Oh thats quite
good. Its rolled up to the base of
the barricade on the right hand
side. Preparing charge two.
THROWING SOUND
GHOST
It's away. Fallen on the left hand
side but not quite as close.
DOILY
Its good enough GHOST, much better
than I could manage. Well done my
friend.
EXPLOSIONS
BURAKOWSKI
Troops open fire.
GUNFIRE MULTIPLE
DOILY
JACINTA, the locals are firing at
the Freidlanders. They are a
little dumb, be careful not to get
in the way.
COSTAS
DOILY, this is COSTAS, JACINTA is
injured, she got hit by rocks from
the explosions. It's looking
really bad.
DOILY
Shit, OK, I will call medivac now.
It will take a few minutes for them
to get here. (Radio bleep) BOY, we
need medivac immediate dispatch
requested for JACINTA.
BOY
Roger, OK, I'll get them on the
way.
SHOOTING
COSTAS
We are in the middle of a
firefight. We'll get her to you as
soon as we can. ALEX take JACINTA,
she needs medical.
ALEX
OK, Coming. Guys we need to get
through that barrier now!
INTENSIVE
SHOOTING
SHARROW
Hold, I see I white flag, team stop
firing. DOILY stop shooting, we
have a white flag.
DOILY
BURAKOWSKI hold, we have a white
flag. Order a cease fire, we have
wounded.
BURAKOWSKI
Troops, cease fire! (Shouted over
gun fire)
BECKER
Stop shooting, we surrender, under
the codes of the independent
mercenary legion convention. We are
laying down our arms.
BURAKOWSKI
Come out you cowards, get over here
and stand by that wall.
DOILY
BURAKOWSKI I hope you are not
thinking of beating them or in any
way physically harming them. (Radio
bleep) COSTAS get JACINTA in here
immediately. (Pause) Look
BURAKOWSKI, they are just working
for their living, it's not
personal.
BURAKOWSKI
The bastards, we have women and
children in here.
DOILY
Which I note were not harmed in any
way. Make sure your troops are not
trigger happy, we have wounded
coming through the tunnel. Now I'm
going to speak to the Freidlanders
commander and formally take
surrender. (Puase, raising voice)
Freidlander troops, who is the most
senior officer. I need to accept
the surrender as the representative
of the RCBS.
BECKER
Over here, Lieutenant BECKER,
presenting our cease fire, are you
the most senior officer.
DOILY
Yes, CAPTAIN Caroline Cart'e of the
Royal and Cherry Blue Storms. I
will accept a cease fire and your
formal surrender under the
mercenary code.
BECKER
You have it. Well played Captain.
Troops stand down, present arms.
DOILY
If you will excuse me, we have
wounded. Do any of your troops
need medical attention?
BECKER
We are OK, we got off lightly, we
surrendered because we were running
out of ammunition, not because of
collateral damage. Our supplies
did not arrive.
ALEX
Make way, make way, coming through.
DOILY, we need help, JACINTA's in a
really bad way, unconscious, lots
of blood loss.
DOILY
BOY, status medivac, JACINTA is
unconscious looks like a chest
injury.
BOY
Medivac should be dusting down
outside now.
BURAKOWSKI
We have a first aider, perhaps he
can help!
DOILY
Thanks, but our medivac is just
outside. Can you let them in. ALEX
over here. Place her on this camp
bed we can use it as a stretcher.
Can we patch her suit to get her to
ship ITU.
CHEN
I have some spray seal, let me sort
out the suit.
DOILY
Move her closer to the air lock.
BECKER
I have our field aid kit, it has
some thermo patches.
DOILY
Thank you, but I think we will not
require it, med-vac has arrived.
BECKER
I'm sure you would do the same.
DOILY
Probably.
AIRLOCK OPENING,
SUIT BREATHING.
SHARROW
I'll go with her to hospital in
case she comes around.
DOILY
Good, thanks. That sounds like a
plan. (Pause) heads up guys, we
have a war to win and we are not
finished yet.
BURAKOWSKI
So what can we do?
DOILY
We going to mount an attack back up
towards the owners cavern. They
have troops breaking back into the
power centre. We have to run a
distraction, to stop that. How many
folks can you muster?
BURAKOWSKI
Around twenty, we don't have much
in the way of arms though.
DOILY
Thats what we expected. If you get
some men to come with me I brought
sets of combat gear and ceranimide
armour. What say you we tool up
and give those Freidlanders up at
the power hub a bad day.
BURAKOWSKI
OK, you heard the Captain, let's go
get um!
CHEERING
INT. URSULA ASTEROID OWNERS OFFICES
(BOY, FISCHER, HARTMANN, KOCH, SCHMIDT)
HARTMANN
Solder what is our status, the rate
of fire is well down!
KOCH
Sir, it's not good, we have almost
run out of conventional munitions.
The troops are now being asked to
conserve their fire. The pogoing of
the enemy make it very hard to get
a hit.
HARTMANN
Pogoing, thats a very odd tactic
solder, why can't we get them?
KOCH
We can't just spray fire sir, we
have to take individual shots.
They move around so erratically.
We also have to contend with their
kamikaze drone attacks. We have
lost five men. It's starting to
get expensive in men and materials.
HARTMANN
God dam it! I'm starting to regret
this campaign. Even the money is
not that good. What happened to
that resupply shipment.
SCHMIDT
Colonel, I have just heard we have
further engagement with the enemy
at the power hub. A large mob has
engaged with the crew attempting to
break back into to the reactor
building. They are preventing us
from cutting through the doors.
FISCHER
Sir, I have the enemy on the radio!
HARTMANN
Ask who is talking?
FISCHER
Enemy solder identify yourself!
BOY
This is Colonel Boy Williamson. I
am the senior commanding office and
are authorised to accept you
unconditional surrender. Is that
Colonel HARTMANN? (Pause) Look
HARTMANN, you know the situation is
only going to end one way. You
have no power, no munitions and we
can sit back and play solder for as
long as we like. You also now have
two fronts to contend with. Do
yourselves a favour. Save some
lives, its not worth loosing
soldiers for such a contract.
HARTMANN
Colonel Williamson, I wish I could
say it's good to hear from you. I
reluctantly accept your assessment
of the situation, but I will have
to discuss this with my senior
officers. How about we issue a
temporary Cease fire whilst we
consider our position.
BOY
Accepted, but don't take too long,
how about a half an hour. I have
troops on the surface, we don't
need to keep them waiting.
HARTMANN
As do I Colonel. Over and Out.
Colonel SCHMIDT, Sargent KOCH and
Sargent FISCHER to my ready room
immediately.
DOOR, AND CHANGE
IN AMBIENT.
INT. TROOP CARRIER TWO HOSPITAL SECTION
(MACALISTER, SEATON, SHARROW)
SEATON
Has any one administered any drugs?
SHARROW
No Doc, we just put in the I/V
SEATON
Nurse can we do an assessment
please. This will be a good
training exercise.
MACALISTER
Certainly Doctor. OK, the eyes are
not open, and there is no verbal
response, we have normal flexion on
the motor response.
SEATON
Good, any signs, of rupture of eyes
or abnormal haemorrhage?
MACALISTER
We have what looks like some
penetrating ballistic injuries in
the chest region.
SEATON
OK I'm checking with the micro
probe for blast lung, apnea,
bradcardia. There are some
hemorrhages. Checking the
hemothorax, hmmm, thats not good,
looks like we epithelial damage.
I'm getting a butterfly pattern on
the scan.
MACALISTER
I think that is typical of blast
damage Doctor.
SEATON
Very good nurse.
SHARROW
Look, this is all very well, but is
she going to recover.
SEATON
We are going to do a thoracotomy.
BLEEPING NOISE
SEATON
She is in arrest, nurse get the de
fib. Stand back!
MACALISTER
Charging.
DE FIB THUMP
SEATON
One more time
MACALISTER
Charging.
DE FIB THUMP
SEATON
She is unresponsive. I'm sorry
SHARROW, we were much too late, and
the damage is extensive. I'm
really sorry. I know she was a good
friend.
SHARROW
(Shocked and starting to weep) Oh,
shit. JACINTA, I'm so sorry, I
couldn't get you here in time. I
have let you down.
SEATON
Nurse please record the time of
death as 21.20 New London time on
the 30th Decemeber 2075.
SHARROW
Wait, wait a minute. There is a
long shot, it's worth trying.
SEATON
What do you mean?
SHARROW
We share the same blood type. I
will give a transfusion. I have
the magic nanities remember!
If we give her a dose of my blood
the nanities may help to repair the
damage.
SEATON
Thats a very risky path. Hmmmm,
but, we have nothing else to offer.
OK lets take it! Roll up your
sleeve.
MACALISTER
I will set up the transfusion
doctor.
SEATON
Thank you Nurse. Now we just have
to wait and hope you little
critters can do what they do.
INT. URSULA ASTEROID OWNERS OFFICES
(FISCHER, HARTMANN, KOCH, SCHMIDT)
HARTMANN
Well, you heard the call, what do
you think?
SCHMIDT
Hmmm, its not optimal at all, but
we can't fight a battle without
ammunition. Furthermore it doesn't
look we are going to get the power
back. Do we have any support ships
available?
HARTMANN
No, unfortunately, both of our main
carriers have been disabled by
sabotage at the New London docks.
SCHMIDT
Shitz, its a nest of vipers. Well,
unless we decide to charge with
bayonets, I think we are done. I
say agree a surrender whilst we
still have troops to surrender
with.
HARTMANN
Sargents, you're closer to front
line. What do you think.
FISCHER
It's a abticken (Tick nicht ab), we
were done as soon as the power went
off. To be honest its a massive
credit to the troops that they
continued fighting this long.
KOCH
Yes unfortunately I can only agree
with FISHER. Let us stop this
stinkt mir! Now.
HARTMANN
Then I think we are agreed. OK
lets get this unpleasant business
concluded. The battle for Ketton
ridge is over. Shitza, I'm
starting to really dislike that
Colonel WILLIAMSON and his regiment
of children!
