Angel and May
Angel and May are two worn-out private investigators from LA. Events take a turn and they embark on a journey which will take them across time and space to the asteroid colony "New London". They hole up in a dodgy pub run by a crazy drag queen. What could possibly go wrong! They say the skies are the limit, but here they're just the beginning!

S3-E23-THE TRICENTENIAL COMET
INT. FLUSH WITH CASH -1 - 2
LOCATION: Ganders Office
Some roughnecks are suddenly flush with cash and are
causing issues in the main bar. JACINTA reports a fight
which was broken up by COSTA's and her Shambock. GANDER
is suspicious as this is not normal behaviour.
JACINTA
(Communicator) GANDER come in?
GANDER
Yes hello!
JACINTA
GANDER sorry to interrupt. We've
got another fight in the main bar.
GANDER
Another, that's the second this
week. Trackamina. What's going
on, are we inviting savages? This
is not normal?
JACINTA
Its another lot of dock
roughnecks, spending big. I had
to get some of the RCBS to zap
them. They're cooling off in the
holding cells. COSTA's gave them
her special treatment.
GANDER
You don't mean the Shajmbok?
JACINTA
Yes, unfortunately.
GANDER
Are there many whip marks.
JACINTA
Well, (Pause) lets just say, most
of them will not be that
attractive, for some time.
GANDER
(Tutting sound) She does like
giving a good whipping especially
to men, always worried about her.
I think it was the way her father
treated her mother, it must have
caused some deep seated
physiological issues. She had a
misspent youth.
JACINTA
But she has been in the RCBS since
the age of five.
GANDER
Exactly! (Pause) Now how are they
really, do we need to call the
Doctor?
JACINTA
No! They are mostly just swearing
and rattling their chains.
GANDER
Charming. (Pause) I tell you
JACINTA somethings not right about
this whole incident, I can feel
it. I think I might give RUDI I
call. Dock workers you say? Do we
know which dock in particular?
JACINTA
Not yet but I'm sure we will!
GANDER
OK, then I think we also need to
get our detectives to have a scout
around in their dock. But first,
I think we need to have a chat
with these miscreants to extract
as much information as we can.
INT. MONEY BUT NO BRAINS - 1 - 2.1
LOCATION Retrograde - Holding Cell
RUDI starts to question the losers involved in the bar
fight to see if she can extract more information for
GANDER. She plays the SLIM and JACINTA card to put the
frighteners on the 'guests'. They discover a potential
connection to some very strange cargo being loaded on to
freighters go out of the belt.
CELL DOOR OPENING
LOOSER 1
Who the hell are you! You let us
out of here.
RUDI
Never you mind who I am, the
question you should be asking is
how can you can help me? If you
help me, your getting out of here,
understand.
SLAP
RUDI
Understand?
LOOSER 1
Ohww! That hurt.
RUDI
Well it was supposed to, that's
for causing a fight and some
damage to the bar incidentally.
LOOSER 1
It wasn't just us, it was that
bitch with the whip.
RUDI
Well, you should have been more
polite then shouldn't you! So we
have liberated some cash from you
wallets to pay for the damage.
SWEARING, CHAIN
RATTLING
On the subject or cash, how come
you're carrying so much. That's
highly unusual nowadays.
LOOSER 1
It's none of your business.
RUDI
Well, I thought you would say
that, so I have prepared a little
surprise for you. Now here at the
Retrograde we like to do things
properly. Usually there is this
good cop, bad cop thing dialog
typical of some many soaps.
However this time we didn't think
that would work. So as we have a
hell of a lot more bad cops than
good ones, we'll mix it up. We do
bad cop then really bad cop. What
do you think of that?
LOOSER 1
Well not on me lady, now f** off.
RUDI
Oh (sigh) goddam it, thugs aren't
what they used to be, so foul
mouthed. OK, guys get your asses
in here, we've got to raise the
level of the conversation.
PRESSURE DOOR
OPENING
SLIM
You called Marm (In a joking
voice).
JACINTA
SLIM do you want me to bring in
the 'tools' now?
SLIM
Yep, might as well get the large
trolley. (Calling as if from
outside the room)
LOOSER 1
Trolley?
SLIM
Oh yeah buddy, we have a good
collection of implements but they
get to be quite heavy, especially
the bone hammers and saws!
Jacinta wheels in very noisily a large tools chest with
multiple drawers, rattling metallically.
RATTLE METALLIC
TOOL CHEST
JACINTA
SLIM did you charge the batteries
for the drills and electro
stimulators?
SLIM
JACINTA, you ask this every time.
My answer is always the same.
They are fully charged and we have
those big new batteries. Lots more
torque. Means we can go more
slowly.
LOOSER 1
Ahh, now hang on there, isn't this
a little extreme?
SLIM
Extreme. No not really my friend,
just a workman's tools, for a
working man. They used to call me
the 'Carpenter' back in the day.
LOOSER 1
Back in the day, where? Who the
hell are you people.
JACINTA
Well I'm ex CIS, you SLIM?
SLIM
Oh I was in Special Circumstances,
black ops.
LOOSER 1
(In whiny voice) OK, OK, look just
ask away. No need for you to get
out the tools. Just ask away I'll
tell you everything I know. Just
don't hurt me!
INT. HEAD SCATCHING MOVES - 1 - 2.2
LOCATION: Retrograde - Ganders office
RUDI and GANDER are having a scotch with SLIM and JACINTA
and discussing what their next moves might be. They
decide to bring in ALEX and SHARROW to investigate the
dock area to see if they can find out more information.
LAUGHTER
SLIM
It works every time, I can't
believe it. (Laughter)
RUDI
What was in the chest?
JACINTA
Oh just some old spanners and
tools from space dock, plus a load
of old rusty nuts for sound
effects.
GANDER
Well, they certainly worked. He
was singing like a Canary.
JACINTA
Yes, the only pisser was that he
pissed his pants. I had to get
the mop.
GANDER
It's about time you did an honest
days work (Snigger) So you say he
was paid to load up some strange
cargo, for deep space transport?
SLIM
Yep, he said the boxes looked like
ion drivers plus nuclear power
supplies.
GANDER
Really? They are not cheap.
RUDI
Any idea of destination.
JACINTA
Ah, no Marm unfortunately, not.
RUDI
So we have no idea where they were
taking this specialised and very
expensive cargo, just that it was
trans asteroid belt, Jupiter
direction.
SLIM
Yeap that's about it. Its
definitely fishy, there is no way
that one of those old cargo
carriers has enough delta-V to get
to Jupiter or any of its moons.
GANDER
Well, this is an intriguing puzzle
for sure, but we are not going to
find out anymore at this stage. I
think we are going to have to sit
on this, see if we can't find out
more. Perhaps ALEX and SHARROW
will dig up more dirt.
INT. DOWN AT THE DOCKS - 1- 2.3
LOCATION: New London - Private Dock Berths
ALEX and SHARROW investigate the berths from which the
unknown cargo was transhipped. They find nothing on the
dock itself, but they open several of the storage
lockers. They find a load of empty shipping containers
from a STANK owned company. This is basically a dead end
as no other clues are found other than a strange shaped
metal spike.
ALEX
So SHAS tell, me again what
exactly are we looking for here?
SHARROW
Well, I'm not really sure, GANDER
said something strange was going
down at this bay and we should
have a good scout around to see if
we can find anything of interest.
ALEX
That's not helping! Did she give
you anything more?
SHARROW
Well, she said that there had been
fights in the bar and the drunk
guys had way too much cash. That
cash meant they didn't want it to
be traceable. They said they were
paid to load a trans asteroid belt
flight. That's all she knows.
ALEX
What about camera's.
SHARROW
Well, its New London, so no
camera's.
ALEX
Shit. (Pause) What about we check
out some of the nearest storage
lockers, after all there is
nothing on this dock, it's
completely empty. If they had
goods, maybe they had shipping
containers. They would need to
stash them somewhere.
SHARROW
OK, but they are sure to be
locked?
ALEX
Lets get ZED on the line. I did
bring his mechanical breaking
robot with me in my backpack.
SHARROW
ALEX you're so naughty.
ALEX
Yes I know, good isn't it!
(Datavise) Say ZED any chance you
could help us?
We need to crack some locks on
storage lockers in the docklands.
ZED
(Datavise) Yeah, OK, can't
guarantee anything, but if you
show me the locks.
ALEX
(Datavise) I can do better than
that ZED. I brought your remote
manipulator, the lock cracking
robot thingy.
ZED
(Datavise) Oh, excellent. That
obviously has camera's in it, so I
can identify the lock type. If
you just place the robot over the
lock, I will see what I can do.
ALEX
(Datavise) Thanks ZED, your
invaluable part of the team.
SHARROW
Don't butter him up too much his
head will swell!
ALEX
No I meant it, ZED's growing up
fast and he is really useful.
Look at the VR space and our IT in
general.
ZED
(Tinny voice) I can hear you, this
robot has audio sensors.
ALEX
Oh, shit! Well I meant it!
ZED
(Tinny voice) Are you going to
keep yammering on or will you
actually get to a lock at some
point?
ALEX
OK, keep your knickers on! SHAS
which one should we try first.
SHARROW
Look at the dust around the roll
doors, which one looks like it has
been used recently?
ALEX
This one here, definitely, oh and
possibly this other one.
SHARROW
OK so now you know which ones to
tackle first.
ALEX
What would I do with out you
SHARROW?
SHARROW
Probably a lot better!
ZED
Are you two going to get one with
breaking some locks?
SHARROW
OK ZED we have found two targets,
I'm placing the auto lock pick on
target one.
ZED
OK. Just trying to figure out the
make. Oh its a Brandenburg!
SHARROW
Is that bad?
ZED
No not really, they look big and
tough, but the insides are quite
easy to break. So my manual
recommends you insert auto pick C
on this lock. Just push in the
memory metal probe and when
inserted push button B.
SHARROW
Sounds simple.
ZED
It is!
METALLIC WHIRRING
NOISES THEN LOCK
CLICK.
SHARROW
Wow, that's cool.
ZED
Thank you!
ALEX
OK lets get the door open and make
out like we belong here!
METAL ROLL DOOR
ALEX
Its quite full. Looks like
shipping crates.
SHARROW
Yep my sensor says they are empty.
ALEX
Well, I'm still going to look.
This one isn't completely empty,
look there something down at the
bottom. Its a little metal clip.
SHARROW
What is it?
ALEX
No idea.
SHARROW
ZED, what do you think this is.
ZED
Can you hold it closer to the
camera?
SHARROW
Can you see now?
ZED
Yes, but I don't have a clue, its
like a metal pin or tent peg, with
what looks like a bullet type
thing down one end. Bring it back
maybe RUDI or GANDER will know.
SHARROW
ZED all these boxes say they come
from 'Keaton' Industries, perhaps
that could shed some light.
ZED
Just running search. OK. 'Keaton
Industries' Mars and Eros based,
mining supplier, doesn't look
dodgy. Let me see. Ahh, ha. OK
looks like they ultimately owned
by STANK, two holding companies
removed.
SHARROW
OK, but that doesn't really mean
anything. That bastard has so
many fingers in so many pies.
ALEX
SHARROW, I've just scanned the
last one of these crates. They
are all empty. Let take a look at
the other storage area.
INT. ASTRONOMY PUZZLE - 1 - 3
LOCATION: Angel and May's office
Scene opens with general office chit chat. Then SOPHIE
mentions that here friendly astronomy buddy CHRISTOPHER
called her and said that he was excited. SOPHIE being
smart investigates and finds that that a comet has
exhibited some strange behaviour because it slightly
accelerated. This is puzzling the scientists. This
behaviour is sufficiently strange to warrant a call to
GANDER.
SOPHIE
So ALEX did you get that coffee
when you went to the stores
yesterday?
COFFEE GRINDER
RUNNING OUT OF
BEANS
ALEX
Ah, I was wondering when you were
going to ask me about that?
SOPHIE
Is that a yes or no?
SHARROW
It'll be a 'no' SOPHIE, she's not
good at simple errands as you are
now finding out.
ALEX
Well my mind was occupied!
SHARROW
Well, its going to be having big
difficulty working shortly with no
coffee!
ALEX
Shit, sorry guys, I've been a
little distracted.
SHARROW
We noticed
ALEX
Well in case you haven't realised,
EVERYWHEN has been gone for quite
a few days now, and we've had no
communications at all. I hope he
is all right?
SHARROW
ALEX he is a planet sized alien
machine, with a built in wormhole
generator. Do you think there is
any threat in this solar system
which might really concern him?
ALEX
Well, I know, but somehow he seems
lost, a little venerable,
emotionally.
SHARROW
That's a first, your not
developing emotional intelligence
again? You know what happened
last time!
SOPHIE
Oh, do tell SHAS, it sounds
interesting?
SHARROW
Oh, it was fascinating really, she
got married!
SOPHIE
Oh, my god ALEX, your not going to
get married to EVERYWHEN, that
would be so cool!
ALEX
No, what are you on about. He's a
planet sized A.I.
SOPHIE
Yes but you said he needed you!
ALEX
I did not, your taking things out
of context.
SOPHIE
I know he likes making little
paper folded things. Didn't you
do that as well?
ALEX
Origami, you mean. Well he is
fantastic at it, and he does keep
making little horses and things,
but no!
SHARROW
You sure?
ALEX
Look you two stop ganging up on
me!
SOPHIE
I think she is going to cry!
SHARROW
SOPHIE, I think you might be
right!
ALEX
Look, its just caffeine withdrawal
OK, and well, you two back off,
your like the two witches. Also
feeling a little you know, young
body and all.
SHARROW
SOPHIE let me deal with the
quivering mass here.
ALEX
I'm not quivering!
SHARROW
Well, let me be the judge of that.
Look stop worrying. He will be
back soon, don't you worry. I
suspect he has just got into the
wines, its a massive rabbit hole
to go down, especially the old
vintages. Just taking a little
more time to process. (Pause
looking at SOPHIE and
gesticulating) SOPHIE why don't
you pop out and get some more
beans, get the strong ones! Now
ALEX, just sit down and chill.
Here, now look I know this is
unusually, but I'm going to give
you a hug. Now remember I'm not a
teddy bear with red eyes, OK.
ALEX
OK!
TIME PASSING SOUND
ALEX
Oh, that's better, thanks SOPHIE.
Got all weird there for a time.
SHARROW
Yes, you turned into a human
being!
ALEX
Less of that!
SOPHIE
I know its probably just the time
of the month. Actually I don't
suffer from that, you know the
plumbing and all.
ALEX
Oh, of course I forget. Hell your
lucky.
SHARROW
SOPHIE your crying now.
SOPHIE
Well, it's just because you treat
me like a women, it's lovely.
SHARROW
Look, you're all women SOPHIE,
absolutely no maleness in there at
all. ALEX has much more male than
you do, and she has PMT!
SOPHIE
Thank you, both of you. I just
love you guys!
SHARROW
Well, I definitely love you back,
and I think ALEX does too.
Probably only because you bring
her the coffee though.
SOPHIE
Giggle.
SHARROW
See that's better. Now both of you
cheer up!
SOPHIE
The thing that bothers me the most
SHAS is that I can't have
children.
ALEX
Well, you could adopt, plenty of
young Cherries kicking around.
But if I can give some advice,
you're too young. Enjoy life,
while you can! Plenty of time for
kids later.
SHARROW
Lets just change the subject Its a
bit heavy for a Monday morning!
SOPHIE
Well OK then! (pause) Soooo! I
have some very interesting
information on a completely
different topic.
SHARROW
OK, spill the beans then.
SOPHIE
Well, you remember CHRISTOPHER.
SHARROW
Yes of course, that French chap,
you were torturing!
SOPHIE
Yes, well, not torturing, just
chatting.
SHARROW
Torturing, phenomenally, its
painful to watch.
SOPHIE
Yes well, anyway, he had some
astronomical information.
ALEX
Astronomical?
SOPHIE
Yes ALEX he is a astronomer, likes
twiddling with his telescope.
ALEX
You sure he is not twiddling with
something else!
SOPHIE
No! (Giggle)
SHARROW
So to continue, without the
innuendo!
SOPHIE
Well, I went for a long luncheon
on Friday for my experience club
class.
SHARROW
No, but I wondered where you were?
So are you doing astronomy now
SOPHIE?
SOPHIE
Well, dah, yes, we live on a space
habitat. Get with the program
guys!
SHARROW
Well makes sense I suppose.
SOPHIE
Guess, who was speaking.
ALEX
David Bowie!
SOPHIE
Who?
SHARROW
Ignore her SOPHIE.
SOPHIE
Yes well, a certain young man was
speaking.
SHARROW
Oh let me guess, you're torture
subject!
SOPHIE
Yes, exactly, and he is so sweet,
his little glasses get all steamed
up every time we meet. He has to
keep taking them off to clean
them.
SHARROW
I guess its the effect you have on
most men SOPHIE!
SOPHIE
So if that's what I do to the men,
what effect do I have on you missy
SHAS?
SHARROW
Well, I think you know the answer
to that don't you?
SOPHIE
(Giggle) Sure do!
ALEX
When you two have quite finished!
Can we please have this story of
yours?
SOPHIE
OK Miss PMT! (Pause) Well, where
was I, oh yes, CHRISTOPHER came
down to say hi after the talk. He
apologised for being late but
interestingly he said there was a
bit of a panic over at Columbus.
ALEX
Yes?
SOPHIE
He said they had detected a comet,
changing its path, and that it was
impossible. Never been seen
before. The kicker is that its
going to come close to Earth.
ALEX
How close to Earth?
SOPHIE
Close enough for them to call the
CIS.
SHARROW
Say that again SOPHIE! A comet, it
can't change its path can it?
SOPHIE
Well apparently this one is doing
some very strange things. He told
me not to tell anyone because they
are keeping it a big secret. They
are reprogramming telescopes to
see what they can see, but the out
gassing is blurring the pictures.
What is strange also is that one
of the observers said they saw
lights.
SHARROW
Did they now!
SOPHIE
Yes! CHRISTOPHER also said they
are trying to figure out the
possible orbits and what it means
for Earth. He said they have
informed the CIS.
SHARROW
Well, that is interesting SOPHIE!
Possibly bad interesting! Say
ALEX do you think? Should we let
GANDER and RUDI know?
ALEX
Yeah I think so, somethings going
down. I also think we need to get
on the link to KRIS, after all she
needs to know about this, its
heading her way after all.
SHARROW
OK then, let me Datavise GANDER.
(Datavise) GANDER, do you have a
moment?
GANDER
(Datavise) Oh, Yes hello! Oh hello
SHARROW, how can I help?
SHARROW
(Datavise) Well, this may be
nothing but given the visit to the
docks yesterday, and your issues
with drunken dock workers, SOPHIE
has found out something, that may
be related. I think we need to
pop in and fill you in rather than
discussing it over a link!
GANDER
(Datavise) Of course. Ah do I need
to get RUDI?
SHARROW
(Datavise) Maybe, yes, I think
this may cross her area of
interest!
GANDER
(Datavise) OK, then see you in
half and hour.
INT. CONFERENCE -1 - 3.1
LOCATION: GANDER's Office
The team discusses their next moves and this comet being
moved. They decide to get SOPHIE to engage more fully
with CHRISTOPHER. They also decide to send DOILY in the
fast picket to get some more photos and any other
information directly from the comet, even though its a
long journey.
GANDER
So, you think that someone is
fiddling with a comet?
ALEX
Well, you must admit its a
possibility.
GANDER
Yes, but a comet is huge, you
can't just push it around.
RUDI
Well, you can but it would be
expensive and very slow.
SHARROW
How would you move a comet?
RUDI
Well, that depends on how solid it
is. Some are just a loose
collection of ice and rocks others
are more consolidated.
Essentially you strap on some low
thrust devices, that would mean a
hall thruster of some type. You
would power it with a small fusion
reactor and it would take weeks.
You would need several and it
depends on how its spinning. You
would need gimbals frameworks,
hydraulics, and support
structures. It's a lot of kit.
ALEX
You would need logistics, teams of
workers. It would essentially
have to be a military style
operation, especially if you want
to remain stealthy.
GANDER
Yes that's the interesting thing
for me. How would you disguise
all this specialist gear and
personal?
RUDI
Oh, that would be easy, you would
spread it all out across a number
of habitats. Each one is a
relatively small operation. They
then all meet up at the comet.
SHARROW
Sounds like all this would take
some time as well. Which implies
significant planning. This must
have a powerful sponsor.
RUDI
Exactly.
SHARROW
Sounds very expensive.
GANDER
So we have a secretive operation,
planned and executed over a long
period of time, with considerable
financial backing. Dah, To what
end, why move a comet at all. It
doesn't make sense.(Pause) Where
is DOILY?
RUDI
Supervising some much needed
maintenance on Ghost and Latitude
I believe.
GANDER
I wonder if she might recognise
the object ALEX and SHARROW found
down at the docks? I think we will
also need her to get a closer look
at this comet without kicking up
too much dust.
RUDI
Yes agreed.
GANDER
In the mean time I think that
SOPHIE needs to stay very close to
the astronomer fellow so that we
get the latest information. You
OK with that SOPHIE?
SOPHIE
Oh, yes well, if I can get some
time off from Angel and May agency
or should I say GIMBLE and ASH
(Giggle)
GANDER
It's all right isn't it girls, she
can she have some time off?
SHARROW
Of course. SOPHIE I'm just
wondering how are you going to
keep meeting this chap? It might
start to look suspicious.
SOPHIE
Oh that's easy, I'm going to
deploy my secret weapon.
ALEX
What's that?
SOPHIE
Its called a picnic!
INT. DOILY DISPATCH - 1 - 4
GANDER discusses with DOILY the need to investigate this
comet. DOILY calculates that she is not able to match
delta-V as the comet due to the orbits. GANDER suggests
that she take CHEN to work the scientific instruments.
GHOST is also dispatched as she can assist with flying
the ship and keep DOILY company.
DOILY
So GANDER, RUDI, to what do I owe
the pleasure?
GANDER
Well, I wanted to ask you about
this object?
DOILY
Oh, that's a vacuum piton, used to
secure something down to a rock,
stop it floating away.
GANDER
That's what I suspected, very
interesting.
DOILY
So I heard a rumour that RUDI has
BOY and some crew spraying gunk on
my lovely clean little picket
ship!
RUDI
Well, its good to hear that the
jungle telegraph still works in
these times of, (Pause) data
implants and electronic doodads
DOILY
Please, come on do you think I was
born yesterday? What's the
mission?
RUDI
Well, its a strange one for sure
and you're the best women for the
job!
DOILY
Oh, this is going to be bad!
RUDI
So your bush telegraph not telling
you what its all about then!
DOILY
Sadly no! So that's really
worrying!
RUDI
(Laughter) That's the spirit!
Look this is not an order, but it
would be really helpful if you
could sneak out and take a look at
something for us, OK?
DOILY
Yes, oh shit! Now you've got me
all intrigued. Oh go on RUDI,
what the hell do you want me to go
sneak up on this time?
RUDI
Believe it or not a great big snow
cone.
DOILY
What!
RUDI
Yes a comet, the astronomical
object.
DOILY
What! Have you lost your marbles?
How much delta V do you think we
have? You do know they have
highly eccentric orbits don't you?
RUDI
Well, yes. This one, as is
typical, is from the Kuyper belt,
and its moving fast. Anyway we
don't need to rendezvous, we just
need you to get close in. I'm
going to get Ghost and Chen to
join you and they will bring as
many camera's and telescopes as we
have. We just need to take a
really close look.
DOILY
Doesn't sound very difficult,
what's the catch?
RUDI
Yes, well we need you to be in
full stealth mode. I think there
will be others out there who are
doing the same thing. If they
detect you, they may want to ask
questions and they will not be the
sort of people you want to talk
to.
DOILY
What?
RUDI
Yes, the local CIS
representatives, cops, spies, who
knows. This comet is going to
come close to Earth, very close to
Earth, hence their interest.
DOILY
Shit, OK, I see the issue now. We
will have to keep our exhaust
shielded.
RUDI
That's about it, going to be ion
drive. Oh the other thing, this
comet is under thrust, its
changing its orbit.
DOILY
What, outgassing wouldn't do that.
RUDI
Precisely. That's why we want to
go and take a look.
DOILY
Going to be expensive on Xenon and
take a few weeks, why bother.
What's it got to do with us?
RUDI
We think it may be STANKS doing.
We don't know what the game is,
but we would really like to find
out, because it may be aimed at
us. He does see as an adversary
after all. (Pause) The plan is to
boost conventionally at the
beginning, then boost radially
once shielded, minimise Xenon
usage.
DOILY
What about TRACON, we need to file
a plan, any deviations, well you
know how it works.
RUDI
Yes well GANDER has paid good
money to have TRACON look the
other way.
DOILY
Two weeks with Chen, trying to
teach him to play basic chess,
that's going to be painful.
Conversations a little one
dimensional as well.
RUDI
Well, you need to get to know
him/her I think you could be good
friends.
DOILY
Well, he doesn't have many
friends.
RUDI
I think he has been hurt a lot in
the past, he or she doesn't want
to make himself venerable.
Just ask him about his foster
daughter. You know he has just
fostered PeeTree, possibly leading
to full adoption?
DOILY
Yes, I heard, she will be a
handful.
RUDI
Well, just ask him about how she
is, etc. He will talk for hour.
He really does care for her, a
lot!
DOILY
Yes I know, its really sweet.
Mind you she would test the most
patient.
RUDI
Perfect match then, lots to talk
about. You'll also have GHOST. I
understand she gives you a run for
your money on the chess board.
She can also run the ship whilst
you sleep.
DOILY
Who told you she can beat me!
RUDI
The bush telegraph!
DOILY
Shit! (Walking away to airlock)
You know sometimes you can be
really annoying RUDI.
RUDI
Yes, its why I'm the boss!
