Plant in your garden:
1. Three rows of squash: squash misunderstanding, squash criticism, squash gossip. "Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips." (Psalm 141:3)
2. Four rows of turnips: turn up for worship, turn up with your Bible, turn up with someone - if possible, turn up ready to listen to the voice of God. (Read Acts 10 - the encounter between God, Cornelius and Peter.)
3. Five rows of lettuce: let us love one another (Romans 13:8), let us be faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 6:46 - 49), let us give liberally (2 Corinthians 9:6-7), let us worship our God (Romans 12:1), let us welcome strangers (Hebrews 13:2, Matthew 25:35).
4. Three rows of peas: Patience - the New Testament word describes the ability to get up under and bear the load. Persistence - a loving God waits to help us. Prayer - ACTS:
Some people sow "wild oats" Mon. - Sat. then pray for crop failure on Sunday!
