Cheryl Robertson found herself having to carry the responsibility of helping to raise her eight younger siblings when her mother suddenly died just after her seventeenth birthday. After already having experienced several traumatic experiences, she soon became completely overwhelmed with life. The pressure only increased after she was married at 20 years of age. However, she eventually discovered that freedom in the journey of life can be found if we are willing to go down the pathway of pain with some trusted mentors.

Today's podcast is story of resilience and the faithfulness of Jesus to help us through the most difficult of circumstances. Cheryl still finds the desire to minister to everyone she meets with the hope that they too can find freedom as they confront life's trauma's head on with the help of others.
