Marcus Rose joins us from Germany where he specializes in planting and growing house churches.

We said during the authority of the believer study that we've been doing that the two prayers that will never work.

[0:28] And to a lot of times we'll pray god would you save this person would you work in their life and I believe he he knows our hearts but the reality is he told us to go look at the person next to you and just say he's talking about you, Okay so he's just talking about the person next to you I'm not talking to you, But he's told us to go and and that's Marcus' heart. He there's no better person when it comes to equipping people.
Marcus is somebody that has the opportunity to speak all over the world. We are talking last night about some Middle Eastern countries.
That he goes and shares the gospel with and countries where you go to prison and can lose your life for the sake of the gospel and he has just no fear, Over the years he's been part of planting over you know 2000 or so, But god has used him incredible ways and you're going to be blessed today by his ministry by the way don't forget to give you'll see the information on the screen, Welcome Marcus.

[1:37] Are you good, If you don't see me with the big Bible it's simply because I'm getting old I cannot read the bible on stage anymore so I memorize it nowadays okay, I'm going to give you three bible verses in the beginning about our topic today.

[6:22] My topic is life, If you are like me and you read that you immediately feel pressure. You feel the pressure.
Should lead to an action, All white came last night or at least at home right? And it's lost late last night and Sunday morning I want to hear a positive message about love. I don't want to hear if I laugh Jesus I have to feed his sheep. It's not a message I need someone, Right?

[9:34] But the first thing nowadays is taught.
You have to laugh yourself first, You were simply faced with effect laugh got first and love your neighbor, But nowadays a lot of times I'm in a church and people tell me I I challenge them with this Bible verse and the first thing this is but I have to love myself first.
You can make out of this whatever you want to make out of it. I think that's not what Jesus said.
Like you love yourself. Come on. Be creative. You know how you want to be loved. Laugh them as well, right?
I don't mind you loving yourself please look until the mirror and think like, But suddenly oh I cannot laugh because I have to go to.

Shall I stop preaching or can I go out, That message is positive. You can laugh God. You don't have to be afraid of God. You can laugh, God, and if you laugh, God with all your being, it will transform you so you start loving others.
And you might not laughed and perfectly but, So, start with that laugh, right? But if you're like me, you read that scripture and immediately think like, And you might regret having come to church this morning. I know. So we go to the third passet.

[11:48] The greatest laugh is, Oh my goodness. Now laugh becomes even dangerous to your health.
It'd be even becomes dangerous to elf.

[13:51] I know you kids are different right, If my youngest comes into the room and he says daddy, Any idea what I could do this afternoon I know exactly what he wants to hear, I've been married for 20 years my wife is awesome but I never understand that my love is never enough, She always has ideas how to laugh her better and more.

My wife her name is Stephanie she's awesome she's really absolutely awesome, After I have worked since 4 o'clock in the morning.

I didn't know exactly why she should not ask me for one more sign of laughter today.
That's the problem with love right?
It never feels enough, If the way you show your love is it appropriate or not appropriate, My kids know exactly how I should express my love to them, My dentist would be happy if i would, It's not showing appropriate laugh, There are a lot of people especially as Adida who tell me all the time how I should laugh them.

[17:17] Eh in the inner city my goodness, No you don't get it, You don't know if the person feels love you don't know what it is if it is enough the way you love and you don't know if your love is appropriate, And that's how Satin gets you.
So first of all, Second thing, Certainly.

[18:16] Feel last year, If you approach laugh like that, It is still, And if you're smart enough you immediately think about the consequences and the consequences are, I get sucked into his life i stop living and I have no, That makes perfectly sense to me.

[22:02] Did you see he doesn't feel laughed so probably you didn't laugh in bell enough what's wrong with you are you really a good Christian, So instead of me being free to laugh and help he sucks me in the opposite direction I suddenly am slave, I would say it devilish definition of laughter, Really a devilish. Definition of love.
Anymore free to laugh. Suddenly there is a new legal system telling me how am I supposed to love?

[22:43] I'm going to give you two short stories of my own life.
Two stories I'm not telling you the stories because I think you should do what I did I just want to give you two random examples of how long to love, Now we give you a three short points really hoping that you will take it into your life so you become free to laugh in a way okay, This friend used to deal with drugs.
He got his first girlfriend pregnant, For the first time in his life he was getting his life under control for the first time in his life.
The father of the girl we got pregnant years earlier, Up until now I could hate you for what you did to my daughter.

[23:53] Because I would have liked you to stay out. That's what her father said. And I understand it, right? As a father, I do understand all these feelings. Oh my daughter's turning 18. I I feel it in a warrior in me all the time. Somebody shows up. Anyhow right?
We're talking about a guy who came out of misery came out of misery. So I saw to mentor him in the whole process, 1 day, Had just come to Christ they were distant, they kept safe distance, they were moving towards a marriage, they were holy, it looked very very good, He said, The mother of my child and my child died in their flat because there was a monocarbon, What are you going to say, Don't ever tell people who are in trouble.

[25:08] Don't ever dare to say something like that.
The week after he was he was in sales he came to Berlin.

[25:24] I said how how my friend?
Can I spend tonight with you, They probably have been electronic guitar, Set let us just worship, Four 4 hours and that hotel room, That was not worship. He just screamed. He told god everything he felt, Former girlfriends future wife and a mother of his child, Right? I would not tell you, You have to be that close.

I want to honest you. Came from a very broken family, He fell in love every 3 months.
Even though i knew he laughed god like crazy, So when I took him out of the team he said to me so you're treating me like everybody else, If I don't perform if I cannot perform in one area of my life I'm the bed one and take not, I know that this is the last item going to tell you.

[27:50] But from now on, I will have breakfast with you I will read the bible with you because I will not allow that seating gets you or that you believe the lie that you are not good enough I have to make sure the church is good, But I will show you laugh I give you 1 hour every Wednesday morning and whenever everything else I will be there but I cannot allow you to corrupt to church, Not again I'm not going to tell you you should do the same thing, But do you feel like that was love, I can give you the three things that I would like you to write down and you should, Annoy your pastas.

[28:51] But you can come back to me, right? I'll give you more ideas. But those are three things I really want you to deny.

You have to decide how you want to laugh.
No that is a spiritual, When I come to state college the first moment I feel after is i get this amazing basket that pasta sack personally Put together for me he went to the supermarket and he chose that salami and that drink and that banana I think he hadn't picked a bananas right sick, I I knew you always claim it's your wife but I think you just want to give honor to your wife I think you just are very humble person who handpicks it himself that's what I want to believe about you, Right that is a culturally appropriate way to show love right?
No Learn to decide how to laugh people.

[30:14] A lot of you have a very good with your schedule to know exactly how to be successful at work, How many, No I'm not saying spend less time in church I'm just saying how much sun you want to spend with people outside church. There's something you have to learn.
Once the in my opinion American church is much better than German churches and being generous with money, So please decide how much money you want to give to people cannot make it. But on the other hand be very clear about who you should not give money to. Because the people should work for themselves right?
All this kind of stuff, right? So, you have to, but do you get me? It's a spiritual decision.
It's a spiritual decision don't spend time with people because people want you to spend time with them you have to make a decision who you want to spend time with and how much time you want to spend time with, No I'm making the point so clearly because.

[31:23] Try and say that again, This afternoon I'm going tailgating.

[31:47] This drunk and doesn't remember me that's his decision I cannot be, I cannot feel hey I spend 2 hours of my valuable life to find you and visit you, The test decision I'm in charge for my decision he is in charge of his decision right.

[32:14] That's your decision. Make that decision. Be confident about your decision.
You're not in charge of it, right?
Deep down we want to be praised for the love we get friends we want to be acknowledged for the love we give, We know that this guy wants us to laugh him in a certain way so we might express our love in a way this person wants because we on the other side we like to be laughed we like to be praised we like to be acknowledged for the love we give, But honestly that is the laughter will not help that person, But if I show my love in the way that helps that person at least I'm convinced it helps the person the person might feel like, Sometimes tough love is the only laugh that matters right.

[33:21] How many people are happy if you tell them, It will not be affected by how you treat me back.
Yeah, I really hate it. I would like to live a different lifestyle. I would like you to sing giving me 10 rules like okay.
You get up in the morning, 8 o'clock, you meet your wife, you say, good morning, honey. Do you want a coffee? That's the only way I have to show laughter the whole rest of the day. I could say take laughter enough for today, It would be so happy. It would be so good. Would make my life easy. Right? I go down on the street.
I find the first person that I see and I say my friend I want to tell you about Jesus today.
The one evangelist and for today Dan, I need to unpack today 20% for the lord I don't need to think about money for anything else anymore because take short my love financially well enough, Ben.

[34:41] Go to state college where all white.

[34:54] Learn to be independent from if you get a positive reaction, You passer should be busy because they all come back and they complain I want to laugh more and they didn't like me for it you know that would be a good church you're coming back to you saying like.

[35:13] Yeah in this neighborhood and then I reached out and now this neighbor is on my porch every afternoon for 3 hours I don't know how to get rid of that neighbor, That is a luxury problem. That would be a church where, That's a good Bible study class too.
Decide, I said again, right? It was a long sentence decide. Who to learn how to laugh from?
Now, that point is very important. I meet a lot of pastors. I meet a lot of church leaders who tell me my congregation, It's lazy, Just to make sure you know that okay.

[36:27] Always assume that your people, Does that make sense? We live in a sinful world. We all have very limited resources. I don't know how much you work. I look at my schedule, my schedule is crazy. If somebody tells me laugh more, I first think when.
That's clear, right? I have very limited resources. I have three kids. I have a wonderful wife. I have to take care of it. And everybody around me is always knows how I should love them.
Do you never sit down with me and say Marcus can I look at your schedule? Oh, I see. No, compared to all the other people that in your schedule, I think I'm not dead needy. It's okay. You don't have to meet me.
The command is it?
We have to talk markets. We have to talk. We haven't talked.
Learn who you want to learn from.
Is there somebody in church that you can go with one afternoon a week for 2 hours and see how that person reaches out to people you will not reach out to, It would enhance your creativity.
I'm here to preach about evangelism.

[37:54] No Now can somebody, Just one anybody here who feels like I can learn from that other person.
Who are you thinking of, That's awesome right.

[38:34] I might look creative to you I still need a lot of other people to learn from, A lot, I suddenly just float along somebody else for whole day to just look at it.
Okay. So, please take time. Go and approach people. Right. Third thing because we're going late. Third thing, Decides that you want to be let by the spirits, Now I'm going to say something but decide to want to be led by the spirit, You cannot decide to work less a lot of times it's just your schedule, But you can decide.

[39:39] I need to have open eyes for the people in the supermarket.
I need to be open for the people that pick up their kids from the supermarket, I want to have this one extra question in. I wonder if that extra positive statement in this one thing.
I would always advice you to have a timer to lot in the morning and say look.

[40:38] I would like the holy spirit to leave me like that, Nah, Mate, Are you getting me, So

[41:18] That's not how he works with me.
No I said a lot I was still here, Awesome, Tell your neighbor one thing that you got out of this.

You can of course turn around. You can talk to the guys behind you.

[42:20] I would like us to really pray this morning, To know god's love in a way I cannot contain it anymore it has to break through to others, That is a spiritual thing, But this morning I would like you to expect that you really feel the love of God in a way you have to let it out, Is that a good prayer?
You want to get up, Hi And honesty, Some of you might have laughed people for years. You might have reached out to people but when you look at the outcome, feels like I invested so much, so beautiful.

[46:32] Tell the law today this one situation that Satan is having you with that Satan is nagging you with and he tells to see you cannot.
