Mary Murfitt, along with Betsy Howie, conceived and wrote the music and lyrics for "Cowgirls," and performed in the original off-Broadway production in 1996. Murfitt visits with PTC's Matthew Ivan Bennett, and talks about how "Cowgirls" came to be. "Cowgirls" opens at PTC on March 25 and runs through April 9, 2016.
