Jesus Glorified - Transfiguration to Resurrection part 6 of 8 Mark 14:10-72

In this episode, Pastor Gary walks us through Mark 14 and the final hours before the cross. We will move from the intimacy of the Passover table, to the anguish of Gethsemane, the injustice of Jesus’ arrest and trial, and Peter’s heartbreaking denial. We see Jesus redefine Passover, not as a memory of deliverance from Egypt, but as the moment pointing to Himself: the true Lamb whose body and blood secure a new covenant.

As the story unfolds, we witness both the depth of Christ’s obedience and the weakness of His followers. Jesus willingly embraces the cup of suffering (a suffering which we will never fully understand) while His disciples falter in their faith by sleeping, scattering, and even denying knowing Him. Yet even in human failure, grace is already at work, reminding us that our hope is not in our faithfulness, but in His.

This message calls us to move from distance to devotion and to not merely observe the table, but to receive Christ by faith, walk closely with Him, and find restoration even when we fall.
