In this week's Still They Speak message, we looked at the remarkable life of young King Josiah and the witness of a heart that sought God. Even though he inherited a nation consumed by idolatry and came from a deeply broken family legacy, Josiah's life reminds us that God is both willing and able to use anyone who sincerely seeks after him. Together we heard Josiah speak 4 enduring truths through his witness of faith: God always keeps His promises, the greatest works begin by seeking God, our identity is found in Christ rather than our past, and we must tear down anything that competes with God for the throne of our hearts. Above all, as we have done each week in this series, we saw how Josiah points us to Jesus, who is the truer and better Josiah because he perfectly fulfilled God's promises, sought the Father's will, gives us a new identity, and frees us from the idols of our hearts.
