Kelly shared her story of freedom from addiction and how she encourages others who are walking a similar path.
Kelly is an alcoholic, who has not had a drink since May 29, 2004. She is a philanthropist with a desire to serve God by serving others. Born in Omaha, she holds a degree from the University of Nebraska and spent several years as a Corporate Event Planner before focusing her efforts on charitable endeavors while raising children. As a wife, mother and volunteer in the community, few people knew of her struggle with alcohol. As a follower of Jesus Christ, Kelly has been an active member in her church, and has led various Bible studies where she now shares openly about her addiction and recovery. A long- time resident of Northern Virginia, Kelly and her husband support various worldwide ministries targeting diverse and critical social issues. They have two grown children and split their time between homes in McLean, Virginia and Naples, Florida.
