A royal official comes to Jesus with a dying son and a desperate need. Jesus does not go with him, touch the boy, or perform a public spectacle. He simply speaks: “Go; your son will live.” And that word was enough.
This passage reminds us that faith is not trust in a method, a formula, or an outcome. Faith is trust in Jesus. His word still carries power. His word still heals. His word still works at a distance. And even when the journey is long, His word changes the way we walk it.
