 Today we’re diving into a big one:
“Why do bad things happen in our lives, Let’s be honest—life can feel unfair. Illness, loss, heartbreak, injustice... we’ve all faced something that made us ask, “God, where are You in this?” And that’s not a new question. In fact, it runs all throughout Scripture.

Think about Job—a man who lost nearly everything. Or Joseph, sold into slavery by his own brothers. Or even Jesus Himself, who suffered betrayal, torture, and death. The Bible doesn’t avoid suffering—it meets it head-on. And that’s part of the comfort it offers: we serve a God who is not distant from our pain.

But Scripture also gives us hope. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” That doesn’t mean everything is good—but it means God can bring good out of anything.
