George speaks with Chad Hall, founder and CEO of remodelmate, a marketplace for buying, selling, and managing home renovations online. Remodelmate is a local business whose main focus is bathroom renovations. Homeowners get quotes, plans, permits, materials, and book labor all through their site and the entire process is managed by a project concierge to make sure renovations finish on-time and on-budget.
Born to first-generation Jamaican immigrants in New York, Chad has been an innovator and an entrepreneur his entire life. Hall worked in sales and growth in DC-based, online daily deals company LivingSocial and as a product specialist at regional general contracting powerhouse Long Fence.
