This lesson is geared to help your kids see the world as opposites rather than negatives and positives. It hinges on the scripture that there is opposition in all things. This is a gift. This is how we understand JOY, Happiness, Accomplishment, Love and Peace. All of it is only possible if we have experienced it's counterpart SADNESS, FAILURE, HURT, and CONFUSION.
When our kids embrace this topic taught in a whole new light, they will be more likely to feel the negative emotion intended for them, without layering on emotions like shame, guilt and frustration.
