For more than four decades, James has documented conflicts and disasters across the globe, including the 9/11 terror attacks, the European refugee crisis and the genocide in Rwanda. Here he discusses breaking into photojournalism and shares his thoughts on the current state of the industry and whether photography can truly make a difference.
