The Medical Society of the State of New York invites you to listen to Dr. Matthew Weissman talk about the importance of Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Td and Tdap) vaccines for adults. Dr. Weissman discusses the nature of these three viral infections and the importance of vaccinating against them. Dr. Weissman posits that it is especially important for adults to receive at least one vaccine containing Pertussis, as it protects newborns and infants from whooping cough which can be much more deadly to them.
