1. Following Jesus means responding to the gospel. (14-15)
   • What is the gospel?
     • The gospel is good news rooted in a particular moment in the past.
     • The gospel is good news that demands a particular response in the present.
2.  Responding to the gospel means following Jesus. (16-20)
   • Jesus calls us from a life of disordered priorities.
   • Jesus calls us to a life of discipleship.
