Well, hey friend welcome to another episode of the Heather Sager Show. It's me Heather Sager and I'm honored to be your speaking coach here today in this episode. I've spent the last 15 years studying and building my communication skills to inspire and teach business owners and their teams from stages around the world. I've had the honor of speaking on more than a thousand stages on topics of leadership, premium brand positioning, sales, and of course communication. And now my focus is helping fellow online entrepreneurs become magnetic speakers, so they can make a bigger impact in the world while growing their income. This show right here was designed to give you a dedicated space each and every week to grow your skills, and keep your big goals front and center. And if you liked today's episode, be sure to grab a screenshot and share it on Instagram and tag me @theheathersager so I can give you a shout-out and celebrate the work you're doing. All right, let's dive in, friend. It's gonna be a good one.

Well, hey, friend, welcome to another Monday Motivator. It's maybe Monday, maybe another day you listen to this but the goal of these little mini five minute episodes is to help you enter your week a little bit more authentic, a little bit more brave, a little bit more present and in tune with you showing up as your best self in life and business.

Now I know best self, that sounds super cheesy but let's be honest here. I think we're all ready to stop kind of drifting and just surviving as many of us have been over the last year. We're ready, we're ready. We're ready to get back on a path of growth. We're ready to start making things happen in life and in business. I don't know if you've been feeling, I've been really feeling it. I've talked a lot about on the show. It's been a hot minute since I've recorded an episode. I'm getting really good at batch recording here.

I am in the middle of a challenge right now, 75 Hard which is an intense challenge. It's a mental toughness challenge 75 days where I am working out twice a day, reading 10 pages from a nonfiction book, drinking a gallon of water, taking a progress pic and oh, and then following a meal plan with no cheat meals and no alcohol, and holy goodness, it's been intense and wonderful. I feel so incredible, not just from a physical standpoint but because I am back on pace with habits and that makes a huge, huge difference.

I know habits are powerful. I've talked about on the show before around how I've struggled being consistent with a morning routine and I'll go through ebbs and flows. I'm feeling really good about the progress that I'm making. I want to share with you today, the conversation we want to have is not about my habits or morning routine, but I want to share with you, let's talk about giving yourself grace. Let's give yourself grace. I think as entrepreneurs are highly ambitious, especially women, I'm speaking to you. We have a tendency to constantly want to get better. We want our results to be better. We know we can improve. We're looking to level up as we say. There's always a next level. There's always something that could go better. We're in this constant toggle between striving to get better to improve because we want to. It's a choice when you're a high-achiever and you're always looking for that next. But then there's the other hand where we are very quick to give grace to others but not of ourselves.

Today as you're entering your week, I want you to to lean in and I want you to reach for bigger goals. I want you to ask yourself where have you been drifting a bit and where might you need to say you know what, it's time to get a little bit more intensity here and grow. It's time to get back on my health plan, or it's time to get back on my morning habits or, I need to start working more on personal development or professional development, or I need to really focus on quality time with my kids. I don't know what area of your life. I don't know your life, right? We talk every single week but you don't talk back you just hear me rambling on. I don't know, but you do.

You know what area of your life you've been kind of drifted with that you've been feeling like you need to do something with. I want you to make a decision and start. Start doing something. I don't care what that something is but put some energy into that something and start making some changes. As you do, I want you to have a heavy dose of grace. Give yourself grace that it's going to be messy. It's not going to be perfect. You're not going to get to the dream vision you have to be the perfect mom or the perfect business person, or have the million-dollar launch, or whatever it is, right? We come up with big crazy goals which I love and they linger over us like a dark cloud because we're constantly saying that we're not there yet.

You can be chasing big dreams while still offering yourself grace and being your biggest cheerleader. That's right. Yourself. You should be your biggest fricking cheerleader. Because if you have the audacity to do big things, and to take action, and to dream and back that dream up with action, that's a big deal, and you've earned the right for you to give yourself the same grace that you would give to your clients or students. It's okay to hold yourself accountable to want more while still offering yourself grace for not being where you want to be.

Wherever you're sitting today if you have a tendency to be hard on yourself, to second guess what you're doing, to question why you didn't do something, or why you're not there yet, or whatever other narrative that you're putting on that you know is not serving you. Can I make a recommendation? Could this be the week that you just frickin let that nagging go and say, damn, girl, you're doing a good fricking job! You're doing it. You are taking action. You're still showing up. You're still here and that is something to be celebrated.

Into your week, keep your vision big, keep your dreams high, keep your grace right along with it. Setting you in your week in the best way possible. I am cheering you on every step of the way. I hope you are feeling a little bit more motivated, blogging with a little more of a sway and you're ready to tackle your week.

And hey, might I recommend you give the same grace to others along the way and encourage them because I would imagine there's another business owner who might need to hear this message too so either share this message with them directly or just send them a little love note on Instagram and tell them you're thinking about them and that they're too doing a good job. I'll see you back here for the next episode.
