1. There is a problem we have to overcome, v. 13

Four ways salt loses its saltiness…
a) it is absorbed by its surroundings
b) exposure to moisture
c) confusion about the purpose of the church
d) churches that try to make Christianity interesting instead of making Christians consequential
2. There is a responsibility to embrace, v. 14
a) identity- who God says I am
b) activity- what God commands me to do
3. True faith is distinguished by the number of people who are affected by it, v. 15-16
Mental worship…
1. How is your life distinguishable from the unbelieving world?
2. What environments have been affected by your faith?
3. Do you think you really understand the ramifications of your identity?
4. Does God leaving you here in this world make you think God is missional or mindless?
5. Is the life you are currently living causing others to think about heaven?
6. Which does your faith need more: flavor or illumination?
