Bink Tank

Bink Tank podcast features good friends Bink Baxter and Garrett Wilson. They have known each other since they were about the age of five as their dad’s were and still are best friends. They took several family vacations together, a mission trip to Haiti, a father-son hunting trip, and Garrett even interned at the company Bink works for(SouthStar), but it wasn’t until Garrett joined the SouthStar team a year later that they became brothers. Since then, similar, to their dads’ (Glenn and Mac) relationship, a friendship full of banter and brotherhood formed. Through their friendship the idea of doing a podcast together arose. Their goal with it is to bring a little entertainment and a lot of light with their love for Jesus. Their hope is that any listener will relate in some of the conversations had and feel as if they were a part of the friendship of Bink and Garrett.

In this episode Bink and Garrett are joined by guest Kevin Stoffer, who is a medical school graduate and now emergency medicine resident. They start by talking about whether Lord of The Rings or Harry Potter is the better story, Bink shares his awe of the Bridgestone arena lights, and even talks about his dislike for chacos sandals. Kevin then jumps into his story and talks about dealing with anxieties related to his allergy to nuts, and how he had to learn to trust God with this anxiety. He decides to pursue medicine because of these anxieties and talks about the challenges he faced during medical school, as well as how God has used his story to affect his career path and his patients.
