Speaker 4The malls are really nice . Yeah , there's a casino lies . It's pretty , it's better than Newark Sorry .
Speaker 5Shots fired . He said you live in the hood and there's shoot again every night .
Speaker 4I parked my car and a homeless man asked me for a cheeseburger .
Speaker 2I wasn't even out of my car . Wait , wait Time out . Where would you have pulled that from ?
Speaker 3No .
Speaker 2I told you not to park . I told you to park on this block . Now , if you park on any other block , you're on your own .
Speaker 1Wait , wait , wait . Did a homeless man ask him for a cheeseburger ?
Speaker 2Yes .
Speaker 4I could go for a cheeseburger . He parked on the next block .
Speaker 2I told him to park on this block .
Speaker 3Where did he think ? The cheeseburger was coming from .
Speaker 1He just got out of his car . Devin , you have to follow instructions when you come to Newark .
Speaker 5I'm parked on car in the lane .
Speaker 2He's on the next block . He has to cross the street to get his car . That's the next block where riff-raff happens . The police fill up their police cars here . Ain't nobody coming .
Speaker 4I was like sir .
Speaker 2I don't want no problems .
Speaker 4I don't have no burgers .
Speaker 5I'm just trying to walk down the block .
Speaker 2I'm just trying to go to my friend's house . I'm sorry . Well is , since when are they starting for cheeseburgers ? No , there's a group home here . If he's probably coming from the group home probably .
Speaker 4Cheeseburgers , though he had , like , a Chinese food bag , so I feel like he had Chinese food and he wanted a burger .
Speaker 5You should have been like well , can you give me some Chinese food ?
Speaker 3You got an egg roll sir .
Speaker 2Let me ask a question why is it a church , a Chinese restaurant and a liquor store in every corner in Newark ?
Speaker 5Because people need to pray about eating cheeseburgers . Oh bullshit . And Chinese food .
Speaker 2That's a good question , right , think about it If you drive through Newark is a Chinese restaurant , is a church and is a liquor store on every block .
Speaker 4It's like the Holy Trinity . That's all you need , I guess .
Speaker 3You need , Jesus , a good egg roll and some vodka . No , but you need the vodka first . Right , and then you go to China . No the Chinese . Then you go to church , right , you pray it out . Yeah , I can see that .
Speaker 5Yeah .
Speaker 1They know how to make money in the hood . Basically , you will always make money in the hood if you got those three establishments .
Speaker 3Absolutely Period and I feel like any hood you go to it's not just Newark , but any hood you go to there is a holy trinity .
Speaker 1Yeah .
Speaker 2Jersey City too .
Speaker 1Newark is just a microcosm of the rest of the hoods .
Speaker 3You're using big words . That is a huge word . That's kind of sexy . Say it again that's your one word . Can you spell that for me , daddy ?
Speaker 2No spell it . I want you to explain what it is what .
Speaker 4I want you to explain what it is what is that it was on his SAT Word of the Day app .
Speaker 5It's one of those things where you don't need to explain it , you just have to keep saying it .
Speaker 2But how we know it's a word though .
Speaker 5It doesn't matter , say it slow .
Speaker 1Okay , microcosm .
Speaker 5No , like you did before .
Speaker 1No sexily .
Speaker 5Sexily .
Speaker 1Sexily .
Speaker 3Okay , good .
Speaker 1That's not a word . He's like , I promise you Well so here's what I need to tell you about myself .
Speaker 3I have my own dictionary of words . Did you say dick Shinary .
Speaker 2Oh , shinary , yeah , but you paused on the dick question . You really did pause on the dick .
Speaker 3You guys are such liars . Because you accused me of pausing before when statement I had to plug in my cell phone .
Speaker 2No , you said I had to plug in . I had to plug . No , no , my cell phone , I did not pause .
Speaker 3Nor did I pause in between my dick and shenary you just did it .
Speaker 2Now I did . All right , guys , let me ask a question . I got a question for you . You know I always got this what if ? Or these random questions , all right , so you , I need you guys to delete two things in your life . Right , you want to delete two things in life ? I'm gonna give you , I'm gonna give you a list of two things . I mean , I'm gonna give you a list and you got to pick two things to delete . Number one is alcohol , money , food friends , friends and sex bye friends , you know what ?
Speaker 2J Boog , I'm gonna go with you why do I have to start ? So you got alcohol , money , friends and sex and two have to go two have to go . I feel like there was another option yeah , no , but it's five alcohol , money , foods and friends food and sex and well alcohol , money , food , friends and sex .
Speaker 3I'm sorry , yeah , sex so I also feel like bi friends spy friends , so jay boog is getting rid of her friends I love y'all , but I need sex and money word so you're getting rid of food and alcohol and I think I might get . I might getting rid of food and alcohol and I think I might get rid of alcohol and keep food and sex .
Speaker 2So food and sex , yeah . So you just gonna eat and fuck . That's what .
Speaker 3I'm going with .
Speaker 5No , you have to eliminate two right .
Speaker 3You have to eliminate two , so I have three .
Speaker 2Right , so you getting rid of food and sex .
Speaker 3Food and sex ? No , no , no , she's keeping you . Keeping food insects what ?
Speaker 2the fuck , you're confusing me because you know you delete . You gotta get two out of your life , so I'm getting rid of friends and I'm getting rid of alcohol .
Speaker 3Alcohol , okay , that's good so I'll stick with money , food and sex money , food and frecks .
Speaker 4Yeah , that is kind of boring very boring all right , devin , what are you getting rid of ? I think mine's will be the same , but because I'm in a weird place in my life too , where most of my friends revolve around alcohol anyway .
Speaker 2So you kill two birds with one stone .
Speaker 4Yes , I'm gonna get a nice detox cleanse my skin and lose my bad friends .
Speaker 3Honey , we're gonna be good so you're getting rid of your friends and alcohol but wait , I have a question if you get of sex , can you still have sex toys ?
Speaker 2No , Ooh , that's a good question , but I say no .
Speaker 1Because , you can't cum .
Speaker 4Exactly , but that's not sex . Having sex toys is not sex .
Speaker 1Can you delete that , please ? No .
Speaker 2What is it ? Is it ?
Speaker 1your alter ego .
Speaker 2So wait , so no , sex is sex .
Speaker 4Whether it's toys by yourself with someone . It's toys by yourself with someone . No , it's not how you figure . Everyone has different definitions of sex . Like to me , oral sex isn't really sex . That's bullshit .
Speaker 2So like so then in that case , so you , so you . That's a sexual act . It's a sexual act . But oral sex is sex , because if you do it on to somebody else and you're not in a relationship with them , that's cheating right no , oh true , but there's a lot of things that you can do in relationships that would be considered cheating emotional yeah
Speaker 1emotional here we go no , you cannot emotionally cheat on somebody I've been in emotional relationships before and with no sex .
Speaker 2How is that cheating ?
Speaker 5that's that is cheating thinking about somebody else if yeah , if you do something else that you wouldn't want , but if you don't touch them .
Speaker 2No , that's bullshit , that's like window shopping . So if you window shopping , are you really shopping ?
Speaker 5You're not spending no money If you talk to the mannequins .
Speaker 1Why are you ? Calling it shopping , then if you're not shopping , but wait , if you see a nice , like in my case , if I see a nice looking woman and I like no , seeing I said to myself oh my God , I would love to have that , but that's not emotional .
Speaker 2I'm talking about emotional interaction , like talking , flirting , all that stuff . That's pretty dangerous , but is it cheating though ? Is it different ? I ?
Speaker 3feel like it is . I think it is cheating .
Speaker 2Okay okay okay , now I need to uphold that . Well , anyway , let's get back to that . We'll get back to that , let's finish going
Survival Skills in a Zombie Apocalypse
Speaker 2on .
Speaker 4Okay , okay , we're going to get back to it . I mean , don't speak of the .
Speaker 2English . Okay , so peaches , what two are you getting rid of ?
Speaker 5The same .
Speaker 2What money and friends .
Speaker 5Or alcohol and friends .
Speaker 2Alcohol and friends .
Speaker 5I don't really drink that crazy anyway , so I could live without it and I could buy new friends word she got money like that okay I don't think I could
Speaker 3ever be poor it's a rough life to live I could end up in newark or something would you ever ask for a cheeseburger ? Right , I could be the one asking for the cheeseburger .
Speaker 5I'd be like , can you have like pickles and ketchup on there please , Because I'm so hungry .
Speaker 2Okay , mac , what are you doing ? What ?
Speaker 5are you ?
Speaker 3getting rid of Alcohol money food . Well , he's clearly getting rid of sex , no .
Speaker 4I was like I don't get that . Anyway , it's fine Wait no-transcript .
Speaker 5You didn't break down the sex part no , sex is sex .
Speaker 2I mean it's nothing to weigh around it . So food is kind of like weird because you you take away food you don't live . So it's kind of maybe they mean that's your choice . But maybe what they mean by food maybe they mean by like , like pleasure food .
Speaker 3A pleasure food like ? Oh , then I take my answer back no , I'm just saying I'm not .
Speaker 2Don't take your answer back , I'm just saying I can live off of vegetables I can't , so I take I can totally live off of that so you know what . We're gonna put a clause on it . Okay , so the food when they talk about food , they're talking about because we need food regardless . Right , let's talk about pleasure food . So you got to have the basic nutrients it's gonna be okay .
Speaker 4Give me my basic nutrients it's like pledging , give me alcohol so you'll keep food no , I would get rid of food get rid of food and get rid of friends , because actually so you're keeping alcohol , but just getting rid of food , I'm keeping alcohol so you would , so you would have .
Speaker 2So you want to have alcohol , money , money and sex .
Speaker 3No , I would have to say no , I agree .
Speaker 2I agree with .
Speaker 3Devin that alcohol and friends go together , so I think I keep my answers the same .
Speaker 2Okay , so Mac , what about you ?
Speaker 1I'm getting rid of food and I'm getting rid of alcohol .
Speaker 3Oh , so you think you want to have sex ? Oh God , yes , yeah , I'm not .
Speaker 4Yeah that's kind of of yeah , I don't know about that fly boy . What are you talking about ? He's like I don't got friends anyways , exactly no friends , no friends .
Speaker 2Uh , I have friends . I don't want to anyone that's listening you're my friend .
Speaker 5I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings . He's shaking his head right now , you guys behind behind the scenes , but I secretly don't have any friends and alcohol .
Speaker 4I don't drink as much as you do so , you're getting rid of friends and alcohol .
Speaker 2Yeah , I don't really drink as much as I used to and I don't hang out with the people it's associated with drinking . I used to go out and drink and party with people , but I don't really do that anymore .
Speaker 1What are you doing ? Tase Okay .
Speaker 5Wait , let us answer for you .
Speaker 2This is your guess . This is your guess , guess mine money this is correct and friends no no , no not true , wait .
Speaker 5So what are the options ?
Speaker 2alcohol , money , food , friends and sex he ain't giving up sex ?
Speaker 4no , no , I damn sure ain't giving up sex you can hang that shit up food
Speaker 1giving up yeah , food and alcohol food no , no .
Speaker 2Food first and then alcohol well , he had a problem with the scale , so he's giving up food I will give up money I will give up . Okay , so I will give up food and alcohol .
Speaker 3Yeah no wait , no , no , no . No , I'm sorry .
Speaker 5You said you were giving up sex no , I'm not that's I damn sure he said it's food food and food and money .
Speaker 2Food and money I would give up .
Speaker 4I would give up food and money what would you do in life without money ?
Speaker 2you need money I don't need money , I really like just how are you gonna pay your rent honestly , honestly I would say fuck the rent . To be honest , I live with my mother .
Speaker 3I'll be all I'm okay you're gonna . Money is not never .
Speaker 2It's like I don't know money never been a thing to me like it I did . I like money to get the things that I want , but other than that I don't really don't want no money . Like you need money to get things that you want , but I really don't want much .
Speaker 4You can live off the land but like excessive money . I understand not wanting , but you need money . You do need money but I see some of the Not necessarily .
Speaker 2You can live off the land , so you're going to be a farmer , I will farm .
Speaker 5Oh , I would love that you have the land for it .
Speaker 2I will farm the shit out of something and the dirt .
Speaker 3I to get my nails dirty .
Speaker 2Oh , here you go , the dirt underneath the nails .
Speaker 3Yeah , I'm not a fan of that .
Speaker 2Oh my God , you guys are so shallow .
Speaker 3I'm a city girl .
Speaker 2I'm not a New Brunswick is not city .
Speaker 3Bullshit . New Brunswick is a city .
Speaker 2Well , they call it Concrete jungle . Yeah , concrete jungle , it is a city and I have never had to farm anything . They call that little new york you know that .
Speaker 3Well , it's a city sir , okay . Well , I mean , and frankly , I'm a city girl and I have my nails and my toes done and I don't want dirt and under them .
Speaker 4I'm there with you so you work . Love living together , right yeah , with our money down to it . I just want to make it on the record that I would be able to like farm or do something like that . She's still trying to get on the apocalypse .
Speaker 2Yeah , that's a lie .
Speaker 5You done fucked up with the apocalypse if y'all do want to accept me about the apocalypse if you do want to accept me and your apocalypse crew .
Speaker 3I can make a mean pot of rice well what ?
Speaker 5yes , I can cook too , excuse me , we were very clear we wanted doctors when the doctors you needed a chef .
Speaker 3Well , um , what about procreate ? Don't you need to rebuild ?
Speaker 5I can make babies we have wombs that's true . I have a baby .
Speaker 2Everybody kept sex in this group , so there'll be a lot of fucking in this group okay , maybe not but I can make you some mean babies like on the outside the group we'll be like .
Speaker 4So if we were in a zombie apocalypse , what would be your thing like ? What would you contribute ?
Speaker 1Oh we already said that we actually had that on our last cast .
Speaker 2But we can bring it back up . We can bring it back up . Fuck it why not .
Speaker 1So I'm the connoisseur here , right , Because I study this Like I'm all about the underground bunker . I'm the doomsday prepper . The underground bumper . I got 14 cases of water stashed away . Oh , because that makes you a doomsday driver . Water , kind of the water I got , water , I'm good , but I'm the architect , so I'm , I'm an architect , so I'm , I'm planning for our . You know everything that we do as a group together , I'm responsible . Okay , so I'm the alpha male . Oh , okay , oh wow .
Speaker 3Oh wow , oh alpha male Wow .
Speaker 2You know we're going to discuss alpha male and beta males and omega males soon , Not in this podcast , but it's going to be a really good one , but okay . But I think in a doomsday apocalypse I'm more of a maybe I'd be the person that makes sure that the human race lives on . I'll do a lot .
Speaker 4of sperm lives on I'll do a lot of probably I'll do a lot of uh sperm sharing I'll do a lot of sperm sharing .
Speaker 2That's my maybe , that's my , that's that's my job . I'm gonna make sure that the human , the human population , lives on . So you count me in on that one let's see what special skills do I have .
Speaker 4I'm a great conversationalist , oh shit girl bye , she would make beautiful babies though . Well , thank you . Well , I can offer my womb . I'm a great conversationalist . Oh shit , girl bye , she would make beautiful babies though .
Speaker 3Well , thank you . Well , I can offer my womb Mm-hmm and I can make a mean pot of rice .
Speaker 2Well , your womb will be used three times a day , five days a week .
Speaker 3I feel like this is like the handmaid's tale .
Speaker 1Handmaid's tale , I was just about to say that God only rested one day , so it would be six days a week .
Speaker 5So that's basically life , basically .
Speaker 4So do women get a free pass in the apocalypse for their wombs ?
Speaker 2I feel like we should .
Speaker 4I think you should . How else are you going to repopulate ?
Speaker 5I mean , I could do that . I can also like cook , I can organize everyone like make sure everyone stays in line . I don't have to do the who do you , unless you would like me to like every once in a while , but I can make sure this shit runs properly because you need a woman can you say ? You know what I mean . You say absolutely useful I also . Yes , my womb is amazing . What do you ?
Speaker 2say wouldn't me .
Speaker 5You got amazing I can give you a kid , probably a drop of a dime we can certainly repopulate the earth right we can repopulate because you know that we you know I got beautiful children , so we know they're not gonna be ugly well , yeah .
Speaker 2So what does ? Does that mean something ? Yeah , what ?
Speaker 5no , I said it and it works like right . So I could give you , give some more . So repopulation , right so ?
Speaker 1anyone that's ever watched the Walking Dead know that there's a lady on the Walking Dead called Nashawn . Oh she's that girl , she's that girl . You like that , you and my crew immediately .
Speaker 5So are you going to rethink this whole ? Letting me in your crew .
Speaker 2Yeah , probably not .
Speaker 5I'm not that's fine , if you don't want me to be in your crew , I can just say it now .
Speaker 2Now , is that what you're saying ? It's about survival with me .
Speaker 1Let me hear your hooty-hoo real quick .
Speaker 2Hooty-hoo , do you guys hear airplanes ?
Speaker 5Those are the police choppers . Oh shit , Because we're in Newark .
Speaker 2All right , whatever Heartbeaches we need to spill out this uh topic . What's going on ?
Speaker 5okay , let's start . Um , so we'll start off with the topic about the parents . So , in light of you know , rest
Choosing Between Parents and Spouse
Speaker 5in peace . Kobe and his daughter and they had the whole uh tribute on tv and I know a lot of the talk has been something like the parents . Kobe's parents weren't acknowledged during the tribute , so it made us think . So in what situation would you choose your parents over your spouse ? Because I know the whole backstory to that has something along the lines to do with the parents weren't too supportive of their marriage just from the beginning . They , you know , publicly kind of just didn't support it . So in that situation maybe they weren't mentioned in the you know the tribute . So it made us think in what situation would you choose your parents over your spouse ? So it appears that you know Kobe chose his spouse over his parents , right ? He chose to be married and live and have his children and kind of put his parents on the back burner . So what do you think ? Is there ever a situation where you would choose your parents over your spouse ?
Speaker 2Okay , who wants tag on that ?
Speaker 3first , let's unpack this now can the married people speak first ?
Speaker 2okay , that's fine . Um well , since I guess I'm the only two , there's only two of us here .
Speaker 3But okay , it's very difficult to consider , I guess , as a as a single person . I'm not , I'm not married'm not there , and it's very hard for me to consider that aspect because right now my parents to me are the closest friends bond that I have and I don't . I don't have like another bond to say I'm going to put you guys to the side to take this right now and and I imagine , I guess as a single person , that once you make the decision to be married , your life kind of transitions and your I mean your family is your family and who you were raised with becomes your family but your immediate household your spouse and your children .
Speaker 3that is your primary concern and that is your family .
Speaker 5And so it's you basically forsake all others .
Speaker 3Right . So it's just difficult for me to consider that at this point , because to me my closest bond are my parents . I'm I'm the reliable one , I'm there to make sure that I take care of them . If my dad lands in the hospital , I'm the one making sure everything is there . But I I imagine being married it would . I would still have those roles , but I can't imagine a circumstance right now wait , so you want .
Speaker 2You can imagine a circumstance where you choose your spouse over your parents because I'm not like I'm not married . You know what I mean .
Speaker 3I can imagine as as a single person again your , your spouse , your children . That becomes your immediate family and they are of most importance and everything else is kind of forsaken .
Speaker 5But I , I just , I guess I can't visualize it right now , right , well , I don't know the story behind his parents , right well I think that's basically just pretty much the surface , like they just weren't , and it had something to do with like maybe he met her like at a video shoot or something , so they were assuming , so they didn't like her . Yeah , like the worst of her kind of , and they just never supported it from the beginning and it was publicly , like it was . In public it wasn't , like you know . So that was . You know that .
Speaker 4So you , that was , you know that , so it , you know , led us to say something oh yeah , I I think it just there has to be something more to that , though . You know what I mean . There has to be a backstory , because if you're close with your parents , like you are , um , and you get married , like even if your parents disapprove of them , like your parents would still play a big part , vital role in your life .
Speaker 4You know what I mean . You wouldn't just kind of not disown them , but like separate yourself from them just for something so little as being married with someone well , that's .
Speaker 2I definitely think it's something more to it there has to be more because they had like how many kids they got together , like four , three , four like five , no four .
Speaker 2They had four they had four kids together and they just had one and it still seemed like whatever was going on between it was still going on . So usually when you , when grandkids come in , involved things , whatever issues , you had kind of go away , but they seem like they still had the issues . So , whatever it is , it had to be more than this . I mean , it's probably something that we probably never know maybe money money .
Speaker 2Could have been money , maybe had nothing , maybe possible maybe they know something about the , about her , that they didn't like . I don't know , but do I think it's a point where you pick your spouse over your parents ?
Speaker 5I do think it is a point where you , oh , of course your parents have your spouse , which way right or vice versa .
Speaker 2In my situation , I probably would pick my spouse over my parents or my mom .
Speaker 4I should say it must be easier , because you're you choose your spouse you don't necessarily choose your parents , right you know what I mean , as much as we're groomed to be like oh , that's your mom and dad , you have to love them , right ? You don't have to love your spouse right , exactly so you choose that person to love you know , what I mean .
Speaker 4So they kind of should hold a special place in your heart right versus your parents , where you're kind of for lack of better term , you're obligated to kind of love them . You know what I mean .
Speaker 2This is true so no , don't get me wrong , I love my mother to death . But it just seems like . It just seemed like when , when they bring you into the world , just like my kids , when I bring you to the world , I bring you out to be , I want you to be in a relationship , I want you to find love and I don't want you to choose me over your spouse . And and to me , you know , even with my mom , I love my mom to death . But I mean , my spouse is like who I'm . I said my vows , I'm supposed to protect her . I'm supposed to protect her and the kids . So I can't like listen , I'm pushing you to the side , I'm going with my mom , because then it just defeats the purpose of being married . So , yeah , my mom brought me in this world , of course , yes , but she brought me into the world to be something and and I'm the natural leader of my house , so I would have to pick my spouse and you know , or my mom .
Speaker 4Unfortunately she lived a life . I gotta live my life , and you know . And as a parent , don't you think that's kind of being a successful parent is raising your child to go and raise their own family ? And yes , definitely kind of do their own thing . You know what I ?
Speaker 1mean , but I , I would say , being somewhat of the devil's advocate , I would say it's really situational right .
Speaker 4Oh , I agree 100% .
Speaker 1Because if your spouse is doing something that's really detrimental to either your family or your broader family or extended family , and you know it's detrimental and your parents are upset about that , then they're always going to like your parents , are always gonna have this , this affection for you being their child , to always want to see what's best for you , right , and if you both recognize that your spouse is doing something detrimental to that , then it's kind of hard to just automatically take your spouse aside just because she's your spouse , because they're wrong .
Speaker 1Sometimes they're wrong , you know right and vice versa , like it could work either way .
Speaker 4So I think it's more situational , but in the grand scheme , right if everybody's sort of equally right or equally wrong , or it's a big gray area , then I agree with you guys , you should always so but circling back to kind of the question what would , what could , what could your spouse possibly do that would be detrimental to your family ? Oh man , finances . The biggest thing is probably finances .
Speaker 1Right , if she's if she's the type of young lady that is not sustaining the household financially and bringing you guys down , or just lavishly spending , not concerned with the greater good for the children or whatever .
Speaker 5Those are the kind of things that parents can get involved with right , because they see that sort of thing , so I know that happens quite a bit , but wouldn't that be a situation where you also would deal directly with your spouse , like your parents shouldn't be involved in your marriage but wait , what happens if you're going to your parents ?
Speaker 4for help but you shouldn't , but . I'm just saying this is an extension of that issue , If they have a relationship with their family they might go to their parents , like what do I do ?
Speaker 5but in that situation you you're , when you say your vows , you're saying that your spouse is the end-all , be-all , so you shouldn't be going to anybody else outside of your relationship for anything else .
Speaker 1So but listen to this . What happens so your ?
Speaker 5spouse could be like hey , you're going outside of our relationship to go talk to your parents about this , so your mortgage is due marriage counseling yes , your spouses , you guys have overspent let's say you have a budget , your spouse is due .
Speaker 1Marriage counseling your spouses . You guys have overspent . Let's say you have a budget , your spouse has overspent which he does frequently , and your mortgage is due and you and the kids are about to be thrown out , so you have to go to your parents to get money to sustain . You have no other choice I'm making this up .
Speaker 1Let's say that's the type of situation that happens consistently . That happens consistently . Your parents eventually are going to say wait a minute , what are you guys doing ? And then you're going to have to admit I talked to my wife over and over again , but she's not living up to her part of the financial picture I get as to why you would go , but that initial conversation and the remedy for that needs to happen with the spouse right .
Speaker 4So I have a friend and a friend of mine . So she's been married . They have two kids . They've been together
Family Involvement in Relationships
Speaker 4a long time . Her husband ended up losing his job . He lost his job or he quit , I don't remember . One of the two lost his job and was pretending to still go to work for like a full for like a full year still paying for child care , not pretending to go to work . Didn't have a job where was he going was racking up these , those , I don't know .
Speaker 1God only knows where he was going ?
Speaker 4yeah , I don't even know , but like so that's that situation that you're kind of speaking about . Yeah , the debt that she was and she still she stayed with him .
Speaker 5God , I don't know how you don't even talk to nobody . You talk to your parents . You can talk to him anyway . I'm out right if you lie like that for a whole straight up year .
Speaker 4There's no conversation right , I mean not with saying normal people like no no , I'm not gonna pay .
Speaker 5It would depend on you . She might be staying for different reasons .
Speaker 2See , that's a class that d must be good dick , dickmatized .
Speaker 5He's like bitch , I don't have a job , but let me give you some pipe .
Speaker 4No , but like the duke is better , like if you don't have a job , like if someone tells me they don't have a job I'm like ooh baby come stay at my house .
Speaker 5I know you fucking lying .
Speaker 3They know what they doing . They got time .
Speaker 1Oh my God , what is happening right ?
Speaker 2now . Yeah , we just we done went off track again . Sorry , let the best the D , the D but .
Speaker 2I mean it's just kind of weird because you know you have . I mean you say your vows you're in love , especially when kids are involved . When kids are involved it's kind of hard , no matter . I tend to believe okay , you have your spouse and your spouse is whatever . Let's just say your spouse is ratchet . I believe that you should keep everything in the household . So when your parents get involved , they're involved because you made them involved and I don't believe that they should be involved because what goes on in your household should stay in your household . So some , a lot of times , you know you have these situations where you get the . You know the man and woman they confide in , their mother , their father , and then they get involved into and then then the whole family don't like you right and they become not .
Speaker 5They're not neutral anymore like they're completely . Everything you do is wrong from that point on , like it causes a rift in the relationship where it didn't need to be right .
Speaker 2So I'm just in my opinion . That is a lot of times . I just believe when things happen you should supposed to keep your family outside of it . Um , just because you don't get to the point where you know people don't like each other and you know , especially when you're ready to lead the person , then you done gave it everybody in your family , your business . So they sitting around talking about like why is she still with him ?
Speaker 4you know that type of thing , and then it's weird when you bring them around , because your parents have a negative opinion about someone , even though it's not . They don't really , they shouldn't , because they wouldn't have known the things that you're saying , right exactly exactly but let's be honest and I'm not married .
Speaker 1but let's be honest , especially to married people Tell me that when things go south with your mate , I mean depending on it it can't be just a regular argument that your mom or your dad or your closest confidant doesn't know something about it .
Speaker 4Because everybody needs somebody to talk to outside of that .
Speaker 1And so just by doing that , that's the outlet that most people need just for their own emotional sanity like you need that outlet . So I mean many times it wouldn't be the mother or father , but maybe it is . If you have a really close relationship it could be the best friend , it could be whatever , but either way you're tainting that person's opinion of that other spouse . That's correct regardless .
Speaker 2I think when , at least in my case , if I intentionally tell my mom something , then I , I basically the relationship is over , because my mom would never let it go . So I mean honestly , when I have situations , I , if I confide in somebody , I confide in other people and I wouldn't confide in my mom because yeah , my mom , she gets a hold of it , she does not let it go so judgmental .
Speaker 2Yeah , she yeah , I would never tell anything . So , but I mean , it's to each his own , but I would never tell my mom anything , because that's just into my relationship now , because every time something happened , like you sure , oh , I don't know what you're gonna do , but she was with this person and you know . You know she probably won't do it again , like I don't want to hear that for the rest of my life . So if if I do confide in somebody's probably won't be my mom , at least I don't know what you guys .
Speaker 3You know , I wonder if that's a guy thing , because like I could go to my parents house and my mom could take one look at me and she could be like what's wrong ?
Speaker 1what's wrong ?
Speaker 3something is wrong and I could be like no , mom , I'm good , everything's okay , and she's like you're lying to me , something is wrong . Like she can read me my mom knows me yeah now my mother .
Speaker 2I don't think she's oblivious to that . Do you think it's because we meet males , or do you think it would like ? I don't know , I feel like it's different from my brother .
Speaker 3Like he , I feel like my mom can probe him and he's just like ma , leave me alone . I don't want to talk about it , but my mom can probe me and it's like I start like she knows exactly what buttons to push for me to just be like . You know what this is , what's going on . I don't talk about it , but you know what I mean . Like back off a little bit , I don't want to talk about it , but you know
Sibling Relationships and Affectionate Dynamics
Speaker 3it might be .
Speaker 2It might be situational because we're not my family's not really affectionate . We're not affectionate . Are we affectionate ? No , we're not like affectionate . We're not like affectionate type of we . Our affection is is a little different . We crack jokes . That's our affection . Like I would you know , we we crack with each other . We we say jokes about you . That's our affection yeah .
Speaker 4So I remember when I first met your family , it was like y'all could not have a single conversation without it being like what you doing ? Bum , yeah , right , it's like bitch , yeah , literally nigga you're like .
Speaker 2It's just like it's like . So that's our affection . Our affection is , I like we we kind of like crack jokes . We crack jokes my , you know , my sister talks shit about my mother every day every day I'm talking shit . I'm like why are you sitting here being fucking lazy ? But that's our way . So if we stop saying that , then you's like okay something's going on , right because we , we , just , we just never .
Speaker 4I don't think we really hug , we don't really hug her yeah , when I met , when I went met antoine for the first time , I was like I don't think your sister likes you , like she real mean . And oh , my sister learned , like that's , that's , that's how they are exactly that's my sister .
Speaker 2My sister , her way of showing how she feels about um , I guess the wolf of us she's , she might . She used to smack me in my head and just do . Really , she beat me to a broom . One time she's gonna get mad .
Speaker 2I'm telling the story she beats you but she , like , is lovingly loving it right , she used to watch me um all the time my sister , me and my sister , eight years apart . So she , she was always in charge . I was 16 , she was eight , um , she used to beat me with the broom . What else she used to do to me ? She used to um like I would look under her door . She'd be in her room under listening to like um elder barge or the debar .
Speaker 2And she would stick a broom under the door and hit me in the face with the broom .
Speaker 4Just like weird stuff like that . She's like love you , yeah , well , you're going to meet my sister .
Speaker 2Well , this is a text I sent her yesterday . I said , hey , stupid bitch , what was the name of the store you told me about she's like it's called at home , you little dumbass . So that's our way of showing that we not care . That's the second part of our topic .
Speaker 5Wait , so your sister is eight years older than you . My sister is eight years , so she's 60 ?
Speaker 2Oh , wow , that's a low blow . No , no , boo-boo , my sister's not 60 years old .
Speaker 4Because you're like 52 .
Speaker 5Huh , you're 52 . No , I'm not 52 .
Speaker 2I'm like Peter Pan , so you're like 52 . Huh , you're 52 . No , I'm not 52 . I'm like Peter Pan .
Speaker 3So you're like 100 . Yeah , no .
Speaker 5Yeah , kind of sort of Whatever .
Speaker 2He's middle-aged . Whatever it's fine , it's fine . Whatever it's fine . You look good for 52 , boo , whatever , okay , it's nice .
Speaker 4Whatever it's like nice , wait till I get the shape up . Y'all bitches gonna be hating . You're right , they're gonna hate you boom , get the blackout .
Speaker 2So what is the second part of the topic , the siblings ?
Speaker 5oh so , if you could make $3,000 a week . Now you said $5,000 no , it's $5,000 , oh shit okay , $5,000 a week , I'll do it for three years for the next 15 years , would you stop talking or associating with a sibling Word , a sibling or all of them ?
Speaker 2All of them I got seven . All of them . No , all of them , all of them .
Speaker 3So check , sign the check .
Speaker 4Oh my God , I could not , would you do it ?
Speaker 5No , I just can't live without my brother . I can't , I'll be fine .
Speaker 2Oh , you as a bastard , because I was going to say no .
Speaker 5Oh shit , no new friends .
Speaker 2He lying , he lying his ass off . He say that now he would still have us .
Speaker 5We can pretend Basically .
Speaker 2He lying .
Speaker 5See , I'm like so me and my siblings .
Speaker 3We're close but we don't even check in with each other .
Speaker 5We all kind of like live lives basically that's what I'm saying each other , we see each other and it's okay .
Speaker 2So I feel like you take it for granted . Show me the money . You didn't have them .
Speaker 1He's full of shit my brother's full of shit you're going back to it , you're circling back ? I think so he's full of shit I think he's a little upset are you mad sir .
Speaker 2No , I'm not mad , but he's full of shit tell him why you're mad .
Speaker 3No , I think . No , I think it's full of shit .
Speaker 2Trust me , my brother , he needs he . He needs us just as much as we need him . He's full of shit .
Speaker 3He's full of shit . Give your brother a hug . He was like still right behind .
Speaker 5Chuck , I'll still take the money you said .
Speaker 2No , I'm not a money guy , I'm not a money guy , so I'd rather have my brother than money . I'm a loner , so I'm good with the money .
Speaker 4He says he's a loner .
Speaker 2He's not a loner , he , I'm a loner , so I'm good with the money . I'll be by myself . He says he's a loner . He's not a loner . He likes to believe he's a loner , I'm a loner , loner of how , when I have two roommates , they be sitting here . They be like watch TV with us .
Speaker 5Beeline to the room . Close the door .
Speaker 2So you think you could live without your siblings , Me and .
Speaker 4Jamal , you full of shit .
Speaker 2I'll be fine 15 years Because it's 15 years , right , yeah , that's fine , I'll see you in 15 years .
Speaker 4No , he full of shit 15 years without your siblings 15 years without your siblings .
Speaker 2I'm still a spring chicken , I'll be fine . Well you're almost 40 years old .
Speaker 3You'll be okay .
Speaker 2That's quite alright and I'm okay with that .
Views on Money and Happiness
Speaker 5I couldn't do that I'm gonna just go to them for some money . Listen , this boy right here , because they're getting five thousand .
Speaker 2This boy who needs to go to them for five thousand a week ?
Speaker 5shit , what the fuck this boy , this boy right here , he could buy new siblings . He needs . He needs us trust me new siblings . He needs us he looks so hurt . Right now I need you to like say something .
Speaker 2I'm not hurt , I just know he's full of shit can you guys have a brotherly hug no , he's full of shit . Can you do ?
Speaker 5something that makes you like , even just like a brotherly dab dab it out 15 , it's just not .
Speaker 215 years is not worth . I'm not a money guy , so 15 years is just not worth it .
Speaker 4I haven't spoken to one of my brothers in like five years , so I'm good on that . My other brother I haven't spoken to him in who knows how long either , so the rest of them , we're gonna be good if I'm making the money they're gonna come to you .
Speaker 2Be like hey , remember us but but money , but think about I think kind of caught the concept of money , though money is , money is good , everybody needs it . If you don't have it , you want it .
Speaker 4But just think about as much as you like to say you don't like , you don't care about money , money rules the world . What you gonna do without money ?
Speaker 2it does rule the world , but I know but I don't money , don't bring me happiness all the things , because all the things that I have , that I want , it doesn't involve money right , but you know what makes you , what makes me happy when my bills is paid .
Speaker 4You know what pays my bills , bills , money .
Speaker 2Has your bill ever went over ? Have it been late ? Have you been discharged ? Let it discharge . Let it go into foreclosure . Foreclosure no listen , let your car get repoed .
Speaker 5He was like you talk a basic bitch language .
Speaker 2Think about it . If it has been done to you , did you survive it ? That's what I'm saying .
Speaker 4He's like I want you on the corner asking for cheeseburgers .
Speaker 2But think about it , I mean maybe just me .
Speaker 4I was always so crazy as a kid Like I never grew up with money . I didn't have money at all . Growing up , we lived off government assistance , like we were going to to like food banks to get food . You know what I mean . So I think that's why I have such a crazy relationship with money . But at the same time it's like I'm so crazy now where it's like I have to make sure all my bills are paid . I'm good way in advance . I could never be that person . We're like oh , my bill's overdue , now I have to spend another $75 ? I don't know , I'm just too crazy .
Speaker 2But think about it he was at zero . At one point he was at zero . Was it miserable being at zero ?
Speaker 4Yeah , no , but I was also a kid well , so that's what I'm saying .
Speaker 1Like it's not that miserable being at zero so , guys , let me , let me offer this right . So I think you guys are looking at money the wrong way . If you look at money selfishly , money won't mean as much . But if you look at money as an opportunity to , to leave a legacy for your children , or to give , to give away to , to give to other people in need , if you look at money more broadly , then it should become a lot more important to you . Because , first and foremost , most people try to leave a legacy for their kids , right ? They try to leave . I don't care if it's real estate or whatever , just something that their kids , so their kids don't have to struggle like they did , right ? And so if you look at it inwardly and say I could have the finest car , the finest clothes , blah , blah , blah , then you may like it for that or you may not like it for that , but that , that is a very inward kind of view of money not even having nice clothes are nice things .
Speaker 4So for you , he's talking about his bills . Exactly so for you , like for me , I have serious anxiety about not having my bills paid . You know what I mean . Like I couldn't imagine . Like not having a place to live , not having a place to sleep , not having food , you know what I mean ? Those are just basic necessities that I couldn't imagine living without . And you're saying go without paying those bills for a little bit , it'll be fine , it's cute . I do it all the time .
Speaker 2No , I don't do that .
Speaker 4But okay , so do you personally know what it's like to not have to like miss out on your mortgage payment .
Speaker 2Yes .
Speaker 4And you're okay with living that life .
Speaker 2I'm not okay . Like I was , I didn't feel like I was dying . I didn't like to not have it . It's just honestly I had . There's been times I didn't have it and then this time I had too much of it and I didn't see the difference . It didn't . To me , there was no different . Like you , make your own happiness If you , if you poor , you make the best even matter . If I have it , I'm happy , but if I don't have it , I'm also happy .
Speaker 5There's no fun in being poor .
Speaker 2No To you maybe I'm just saying to me it doesn't matter .
Speaker 5There's fun times when you're poor , but overall you're like fuck this shit .
Speaker 4Making the best of a situation is one thing , but glorifying being poor .
Speaker 2I never said glorifying being poor , no , I'm . No .
Speaker 5I never said glorifying , I'm just saying I don't see , like if I , if I was , poor and I've been poor and I've been poor and I don't want to ever do that again .
Speaker 4Exactly right that's exactly so we work so hard , because it's like I don't want to be in that point where it's like my credit sucks , I can't afford food . I have to live off food . You know , nobody wants to live now .
Speaker 2I feel like you're a slave to that situation . I don't want to be asleep . I don't like to be a slave to anything , I think . What do you mean ?
Speaker 5gmac was on point with what he said . It's all about what's coming after you , right ? So it's about being able to set something up for your children . Take your kids away . Take your kids away I'm .
Speaker 2I'm talking , I'm basing it off of just me , just me , me being me , and I'm not talking about kids , because kids I'm definitely like I'm not trying to be poor , because my kids are not gonna be poor . I'm saying if it was just me and I was had no money , I think I would be okay . I'm really like five thousand a week , please , that's a nigga right there , what's no money to you ?
Speaker 4because you're saying if you had no money you'll be fine . What is no money ? No , money is um like living on the corner no money , or just barely scraping by no money , because that's too .
Speaker 2Living check to check is no money to me , that's not no money , though .
Speaker 4If your bills are paid , you got money .
Speaker 2No living check to check . I'm talking about living check to Meaning that if I mess up a check , then I'm done . That's what I'm talking about . I'm not talking about like you work in , your check comes in and once the check comes in , you have nothing else like , so you basically just live in the world just living the work everyone right struggle I'm not trying that .
Speaker 2That's okay to me . I'm now y'all talking about poor , poor , when I , when I say poor and I don't , I'm not trying to be that poor I'm not trying to be like you don't have nothing , like I'm panhandling , type of thing . I'm just talking about like I don't need excess money .
Speaker 5I don't need extra money .
Speaker 3I don't need that 5,000 a week is a lot do you ?
Speaker 2do the math 5,000 a week times 52 weeks that's not a lot .
Speaker 5That's a quarter of a million a year you can do so many investments .
Speaker 2You can do so much good with that . I can give the guy on the corner a cheeseburger $5,000 a week is what is that ? That's $20,000 a month .
Speaker 5It's $260,000 a year , that's not really a lot of money .
Speaker 3That's not a lot of money it's really not , not today .
Speaker 2It's great , at least five of us in here is not making $200,000 a year .
Speaker 4No One day .
Speaker 3I mean y'all need to do better than us . I'm just saying we're not . So , that's a lot .
Speaker 4You're right , we're not making it , but it would be nice . I want to know which one is . So I'll take that $5,000 .
Speaker 2Maybe Mac making that , I'm not making that . Well , yeah , I'm not making that .
Speaker 1I'm here doing podcasts , that's what software engineering will do for you .
Speaker 5That's what coronavirus will not do for you , so back to your siblings , then you guys are willing to give up . I said I would not do that , I wouldn't give up my siblings .
Speaker 3Yeah , I stand by my answer .
Speaker 1I changed my mind For 15 years , I wouldn't do that . You wouldn't do it . I have two older brothers and there's no way I would do that . Wait . So how ?
Speaker 4many siblings do we have ? She's like I wouldn't give up my sibling . She probably has like one sibling .
Speaker 1Mm-hmm .
Speaker 4No , do you only have one sibling Mm-hmm .
Speaker 2And you . So you got seven at you . Bye , oh shit . He's giving , he's throwing up the deuces .
Speaker 5And so so , jay bull you saying you won't give up because you have I mean you have two siblings .
Speaker 3Wait , you said yes first , but now you're no I said yes at first because I know that we , we kind of all live our lives . We barely talk now but for 15 years now that's that's not worth it it's not it'll go by like that yeah , okay .
Speaker 2And then I'm like hey , guys want to go to Paris , so think about it . How old are you now ? You say you're 25 ? 25 .
Speaker 415 years , I'll be what 40 .
Speaker 2So take away 15 years . Do you remember when you was doing it , when you was at 15 ? You was 15 years old , right ?
Speaker 4That's they were doing at 10 years old .
Speaker 2I remember nobody I know I remember , so that's what I'm saying . So 15 is a long time .
Speaker 415 years is a long
Siblings, Fighting, and Friendship in Miami
Speaker 4time .
Speaker 2I'm okay with that but you might not okay , how's your relationship with your siblings ?
Speaker 4I don't really . I mean , I love my siblings , we get along but , I we like I haven't spoke to my brother in years .
Speaker 2My sister okay , so it's easy for you to get rid of , exactly like when we see each other , it's like we can catch up know what I mean , but it's not like we have that relationship where we talk every day . You know what I mean . Same here , I'll be fine . So Mac , so Mac . What about you ? You're pretty close to your brothers .
Speaker 1Very close . Can you give up 15 years ? Absolutely not . I mean , we play in a band together . They're musicians .
Speaker 2He does everything . Whack-ass brother would give up his . He would give up me and my two sisters and me and my brother .
Speaker 1I'm ashamed of you .
Speaker 2I'm ashamed of one of you Not me , because I'm good . I wouldn't give him up .
Speaker 5I think that you have to be nicer to him maybe , than he wouldn't give you up . I'm nicer to my brother .
Speaker 2I was about to move to Florida and my sister would not allow me . She got on the phone and started it's them , it ain't me . I'm good , I was moving to Florida . She gets on the phone , you can't do this . Blah , blah , blah . I was like I'm still going . She hangs up on me , calls him , makes him call me to try to talk me out of it . Also , I'm good , I can walk the fuck away . He can give us up , but we can't give him up .
Speaker 2He don't explain that you know anything , he gets in trouble , I make sure . For $5,000 a month , I'll be good . I won't need you , I'm not even talking about financially , Like I'm always like if somebody's messing with him , I'm like right there , $5,000 a month , I'll hire somebody .
Speaker 4He's such a liar we need to deep dive into this . Okay , beat twice because , of him .
Speaker 5He did not . I believe it . Huh , I believe it , he did not Okay .
Speaker 1He had a situation , he got in a fight once . For me he wouldn't lie about that , twice .
Speaker 2Twice , twice .
Speaker 5What was the second time ?
Speaker 2Recently Was it last year .
Speaker 5Oh shit , Last year you got your ass beat . What was ?
Speaker 2it Bethlehem I bath .
Speaker 4Okay , see , I got so twice , so twice . Who beat you up in bath ? There ain't nothing but like three people in the bath . Nobody beat me up in my ass , so what ?
Speaker 2happened was .
Speaker 5You want me to bring it up ? No wait , I want to know .
Speaker 2We can talk about it all . So I've been in two fights because of him .
Speaker 5You got your ass beat both times .
Speaker 3No .
Speaker 4I didn't get my ass beat I can't even picture you fighting .
Speaker 3I didn't get my ass beat , he's middle aged , he doesn't fight anymore so one guy I beat .
Speaker 2He's a felon .
Speaker 4I had to fight a felon is he a felon ?
Speaker 3he's a felon . He did time . No , I don't think he did . He didn't do no time behind it , so it was one guy .
Speaker 2I got in a situation , then it was another time . Shit , it was like a year ago . I got in a situation .
Speaker 5That was a long time ago , though that was a long time ago , oh no , not a year ago .
Speaker 2I was drunk , so I called him , of course , and I came . I was home with my family . I'm 40 years old .
Speaker 5That's a good brother . I'm 40 years old .
Speaker 2That had to be like 10 years old . Well , my other brother's in North Carolina , I can't call him . So I'm 40 years old and I had to come out my you know I came all the way . I had to drive what 35 minutes to come up there .
Speaker 4Girl . About 35 minutes Was not that long .
Speaker 2It's not that long , but my son , my son helped me too . My son had to come with me . No you ?
Speaker 3didn't . Oh my god , yes , my son , he had a broken foot and I did it with a broken foot . He had a broken foot . He was in a boot and I was in a boot and I fought him in a boot . You can't even listen , I can't even see you fighting .
Speaker 5I have a whole new respect for you .
Speaker 3I can't see this you should re-see her would .
Speaker 2Believe it or not . I'm not who you think I am . Would you tell him I don't got a bad like . My temper is kind of bad .
Speaker 1Okay , wait , I have personally seen Tyson in a fight .
Speaker 2Yeah , my temper is I'm not who you think I am , so you're an angry elf , he can bring it . I could go high . He's mean to me sometimes at work , no , I go kind of high sometimes . He can bring it me . Sometimes at work , no , I go kind of high sometimes .
Speaker 3He can bring it , so you're an angry elf .
Speaker 2No , my mom used to say she think I got an anger issue , but over the years since I had kids , I've been able to calm it down .
Speaker 3I think that should be your new name . What Instead of Perfect Scenario ?
Speaker 2But I didn't call you when I beat that guy's ass in Miami in the hotel room Because he's not going to driving to Miami . That's the only thing .
Speaker 5That's why I'm serious right now .
Speaker 4He is he real mad he's so proud .
Speaker 5He's like I didn't call you that time .
Speaker 2No , but all I'm trying to say is- $5,000 a week , I'll be fine .
Speaker 4For 15 years . When it comes to my siblings I won't get into any trouble .
Speaker 2When it comes to my siblings , I'm there when they Miami .
Speaker 4I wasn't coming to Miami . I had to fend for myself . I wasn't coming to Miami .
Speaker 2I come 35 minutes away . I initiated the fight , so I shouldn't even say I had to fend for myself . I initiated it . You slow walked somebody again yeah someone sat on the bed and I was tired of him talking so I hit him in the eye .
Speaker 3Oh , Jesus Lord have mercy .
Speaker 1What's happening right now ?
Speaker 2He ain't never going gonna listen to this podcast , but I was in in miami okay we got , we gotta start this is . This is another flyboy story , so everybody listen up . Let's hear your story . Okay , what happened ?
Speaker 2I was in miami with jay and some other friends don't name drop , go ahead , they don't know who the fuck he is . Uh , I was with another friend , a straight friend , and it was a bunch of gays , and this particular person was , I guess , jealous of the relationship , the friendship that me and my friend had , that I came down with us so he was trying to push up on my friend and my friend was like I ain't trying to hear none of that gay shit . Right .
Speaker 1Wait the straight , I'm losing the straight guy . I can't say names , Okay let me .
Speaker 5Make up names , make up names , make up names . Kyle , kyle . So Kyle came down .
Speaker 3Is .
Speaker 2Kyle the straight guy .
Speaker 3Kyle is my straight friend .
Speaker 5I need .
Speaker 2Raul , well , before you start the story , you said there's a bunch of gays this is your quote Bunch of gays . And then you have a straight friend .
Speaker 3Kyle is a straight friend .
Speaker 2Kyle came with me down to Miami . He's my best friend , so Kyle's straight .
Speaker 3Yeah , he's my best friend . I never heard of Kyle , we just made up that name . He's my best friend . Oh , I forgot never . I never heard .
Speaker 2I never heard , no he's my , he's made up that name .
Speaker 5He's my best friend oh , I forgot , it's a made up name .
Speaker 2Okay , okay , so continue I have straight friends so they are cool with me being gay , like it's okay . I mean , I get that .
Speaker 3But okay yeah , okay , all right , y'all are going off on attention . We got kyle , who is straight , and then we got Larry Curly and Moe .
Speaker 2Well , anyway , some dude was there . Okay , he was a friend of a friend of a friend .
Speaker 4Okay .
Speaker 2I didn't know this motherfucker .
Speaker 3Was he straight or gay ?
Speaker 4He was gay .
Speaker 2Okay , he said gay .
Speaker 4We'll call him Billy Billy .
Speaker 2Billy the badass . So well , billy the badass , the whole freaking trip that we were down . This was during Hurricane Sandy and we got stranded down there and stuff like that . The whole trip . He was just talking shit .
Speaker 5Like what kind of shit ?
Speaker 2Just talking shit , underhanded shit , just talking shit to me . So I brushed it off . Because I was invited to the trip , this is their trip and shit like . Because I was invited to the trip , this is their trip and shit like that I was invited in . So I brushed it off . I didn't want no problems , I'm like whatever , whatever , whatever . So one day we went to the club . I was drinking . I had Hennessy , you know Hennessy .
Speaker 5He tears you up , you know makes you a little angry .
Speaker 2You know he comes in the room talking shit . Had nerve to sit on the bed next to me .
Speaker 3We're talking about Billy . You're talking about Billy , or ?
Speaker 2Billy sat on the bed next to me , okay , or Kyle , no .
Speaker 4Billy .
Speaker 2Billy okay . Kyle came in with Billy . They were out running the streets and stuff like that , and you know , billy comes in and starts talking shit I'm , I'm drunk , I'm tired , I I want to sleep . He comes , sits next to me , still talking shit , so all I did was sit up and he fell off the fucking bed and hit the nightstand and hit his face all up and then we started tussling and then kyle had to come and break us up and shit like that and pushed billy into the bathroom .
Speaker 2It was just a , it was just a whole mess . And then billy shoots out of the bathroom and grabs the iron and takes the iron and , yes , throws the . I'm blind . I didn't have my contacts in nothing .
Speaker 3So you didn't see any of that .
Speaker 2I saw him grab something and I saw something coming towards me so I went this way and the iron went like that . I said , oh no , this motherfucker didn't Blah , blah , blah . I'm like I said I hit him with my fist and he going to throw a fucking iron . So I get up and try to push my way into the bathroom and Kyle wasn't letting me get into the bathroom . He was like yo , chill , chill , chill . I said no , I was like how ? You fucking defending him , you , my motherfucking best friend , because he knew I was going to whoop his motherfucking ass again .
Speaker 5And that's what it was I think Billy was jealous of . He liked Kyle , Maybe . So what was the issue ? No , he did like .
Speaker 2Kyle ? No , we all knew he liked Kyle . Kyle knew Billy liked him . Wait , kyle was straight though . What's that have to do with Billy liking ? Him , I just want to follow the story . Okay , so Kyle was straight . I didn't say nothing about Kyle liking him back , so Billy .
Speaker 4Why was Kyle hanging out with ?
Speaker 2him . Kyle is a . Kyle went to go find girls . Now Billy decided to follow him because Billy was crushing . Kyle didn't give a fuck . He was like , well , I don't give a fuck , but I'm going to go find some bitches .
Speaker 3That's just what it is . All of these details are irrelevant .
Speaker 5What is relevant is that he fucked Billy up .
Speaker 2Because clearly straight people can't hang with gay people . I don't know , I guess that's what it is . It's just for us .
Speaker 1We're just trying to process how that works . I think G-Max is uncomfortable .
Speaker 5You know what it is . You know what it is .
Speaker 2Whether you believe it or not , we just Us . I mean because I'm straight , because sometimes it's just funny you find out like okay , most straight guys , just don't hang with it .
Speaker 3I mean maybe I'm his best friend what the fuck is that it ?
Speaker 2might be different . That might be different yeah , I mean , I could see that we had our own room , like we had our own room but him running around with billy no , no , billy was running around following him like a little puppy dog oh , I need to know who tyler is , or whoever he's talking about kyle , it's kyle , well after after we , after we turn off the mic .
Speaker 4So , kyle , likes Billy .
Speaker 3No , Billy likes Kyle Billy .
Speaker 2Badass is the one I fucked up , yeah .
Speaker 4Billy Badass .
Speaker 2Because he was talking shit to me the whole time he was jealous of the friendship me and Kyle had . Keep up . Are you still with him ? I mean , do you still chill with him ? I don't understand . Yeah , I can been here and there . I'm talking about Billy Badass . Billy is who I fucked up .
Speaker 4I don't know him . I don't know the motherfucker .
Speaker 2You know what I'm saying but do you still see him ? Oh , I haven't seen him in years . He's not my friend , he was a friend of a friend , you know so .
Sibling Loyalty and Family Dynamics
Speaker 2You and your stories . You know what we're going to have a segment . We're going to have a . So your nephew started calling me Sharkisha . Wait , my nephew who Tarek .
Speaker 3Yeah , I thought we were name dropping Well he ain't saying nothing bad about him .
Speaker 2Well , I mean , I wasn't saying nothing bad about anybody .
Speaker 2But I mean because this is just your side of the story I don't want allegedly Right . Well , I said a name and y'all were like oh , don't name drop . I didn't say nothing bad about my roommate . Oh my God , we're going to have a segment where it's just going to be your stories . Ask my roommate , he was there . He'll tell you the whole story . Okay , you're going to have a whole segment of your little stories . So I guess the point of the story is when you love your siblings to me you would feel like you do , I would fight for my brother as well .
Speaker 2No , you just said you would give up $15,000 . I mean $5,000 . I would do that too , but if I didn't have that option and I had to fight for you , I'm going to fight . I'm going to fight for you . But , you not talk to me for 15 years ? Yeah , that's fine too , but you would still fight for him not talk to me for 15 years . Yeah , that's fine too , but you would still fight for him , oh for sure , okay , oh my god , this shit don't make no sense .
