Life is waiting for you each day, and you have to prepare for each challenge along the way toward success. It's not simple, but it can be done. Welcome to my common sense motivation episodes. I'm Chris FantasticPow. Years ago, I heard a line on an old motivational cassette tape that stuck with me. It read The porch light is on, but no one is home. It made me think about the older I get, the more I realize how true that is for a lot of people living today. They're present, but they're not aware. They wake up, go to work, pay bills, scroll through their phone, watch social media, and repeat. Their body shows up, but the mind checked out a long time ago. And here's the truth most people don't want to hear. Life doesn't respond to attendance, it responds to awareness. You don't get results because you showed up. You get results because you're engaged. But many people don't realize that they're sitting in opportunity every single day. But they're asleep inside their own life. The porch light is on, but no one's home. And the scary part, nobody comes to wake you up. No alarm, no warning, and no announcement. One day you just realize I've been busy, but I haven't been living. And that's when you can make the decision to start the real work. Awareness is the moment you walk back inside your own house. It's when you stop drifting and start deciding to become more conscious, to become more intentional about how you're living. Only then does everything change. So today, ask yourself one honest question. Am I really here or am I just showing up? Because your life doesn't need more motion, it needs presence. So stop existing and get into action.
