STOP RUNNING FROM WHAT BUILDS YOU- Episode 3 OF 4
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Stop treating discomfort like an emergency. That’s the line we keep coming back to, because so many of us are chasing a “better life” while also trying to avoid anything that feels hard. But when you build your days around comfort, you don’t just dodge stress, you dodge growth.
Welcome And Core Message
SPEAKER_00Welcome to my four part episode Built Through the Struggle Episode 3. Stop running from what builds you. Here's the mistake most people make. They think a great life means avoiding problems, and that's the trap. We live in a world that teaches comfort, avoid stress, avoid pain, avoid anything that feels difficult. But here's the problem with that. Everything that builds you is difficult. So when you spend your life avoiding difficulty, you're also avoiding growth. You're avoiding strength, you're avoiding understanding, you're avoiding the version of yourself you're capable of becoming. Think about it. How many times have you walked away from something because it felt too hard? How many opportunities have you passed on because it required more from you? How many times have you said I'll do it later just to avoid the pressure? That's not protecting you, that's limiting you. Because life doesn't reward avoidance, it rewards action. It rewards the person who steps forward when it's uncomfortable. It rewards the one who chooses growth over ease. The challenge you're facing right now, that's not in your way, that is your way. Because you've got to change how you see it. Stop seeing difficulty at something to escape, and start seeing it as something to engage. Because every time you face it, you gain something. Strength, clarity, confidence. And every time you avoid it, you lose something, opportunity, growth, momentum. So the question becomes simple Are you moving toward what builds you or away from it? Stop running, turn around, and face what's been waiting to build you. Make it happen. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. Thank you for listening.
