David is so confident in God because he saw firsthand how God delivered him from his enemies. It's easy to forget, isn't it? How God has saved us in the past. We talk about how understanding and believing that God can hear our prayers leads to confidence in Him... knowing that He really does care about what each of us is praying. He is good. So good!
