This week, we begin a new sermon series focused on the Holy Spirit, the third member of the Trinity. While the word “Trinity” does not appear in Scripture, we still find evidence that God is revealed to humanity in a multitude of ways. We learn of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. As we begin this series, we will contemplate and discuss the Triune God who appears in the Bible, and we will encourage one another to awake our attention to the presence of God among us in the Holy Spirit. We will not ignore God working among us, but instead will be encouraged to live faithfully and to seek to worship this God.
