Good."},{"startTime":165.91,"endTime":170.11,"body":"This is where others quit"},{"startTime":165.91,"endTime":170.11,"body":"and you won't because"},{"startTime":170.5,"endTime":174.67,"body":"lots of people will start,"},{"startTime":170.5,"endTime":174.67,"body":"a few people will build."},{"startTime":175.06,"endTime":179.6,"body":"That's another thing I had to tell"},{"startTime":175.06,"endTime":179.6,"body":"myself is that building isn't easy."},{"startTime":179.6,"endTime":184.44,"body":"Walking into a threshold of a"},{"startTime":179.6,"endTime":184.44,"body":"beautiful home or a castle or a kingdom"},{"startTime":184.54,"endTime":186.04,"body":"man, that feels good."},{"startTime":187.48,"endTime":192.45,"body":"I recently read an article"},{"startTime":187.48,"endTime":192.45,"body":"around how the architects of"},{"startTime":192.45,"endTime":195.57,"body":"the Roman Empire, they"},{"startTime":192.45,"endTime":195.57,"body":"would build these bridges,"},{"startTime":195.8,"endTime":197.65,"body":"wildly famous Roman bridges,"},{"startTime":198.39,"endTime":202.53,"body":"and for them to testify that they can"},{"startTime":198.39,"endTime":202.53,"body":"handle the strength of the bridge,"},{"startTime":202.88,"endTime":205.17,"body":"what they would do is they themself,"},{"startTime":205.17,"endTime":209.45,"body":"the architect would stand under the"},{"startTime":205.17,"endTime":209.45,"body":"bridge while the Roman armies would march"},{"startTime":209.45,"endTime":213.69,"body":"across hot. But like quite honestly,"},{"startTime":257.91,"endTime":262.19,"body":"what if it never ended? What if"},{"startTime":257.91,"endTime":262.19,"body":"the journey, what if the meetings,"},{"startTime":262.19,"endTime":266.03,"body":"what if the headaches, what if the sucker"},{"startTime":262.19,"endTime":266.03,"body":"punches? What if the burning fires?"},{"startTime":266.06,"endTime":269.35,"body":"What if the accolades, what if"},{"startTime":266.06,"endTime":269.35,"body":"the success? What if the peaks?"},{"startTime":269.35,"endTime":273.47,"body":"What if the values? What if every"},{"startTime":269.35,"endTime":273.47,"body":"morning when you wake up and you're like,"},{"startTime":273.54,"endTime":278.45,"body":"I don't know the answer, quiet"},{"startTime":273.54,"endTime":278.45,"body":"yet. What if that never ended?"},{"startTime":279.24,"endTime":280.8,"body":"Would you still do it?"},{"startTime":281.63,"endTime":286.18,"body":"My answer that I had learned so"},{"startTime":281.63,"endTime":286.18,"body":"distinctly on the back of 2022"},{"startTime":287.04,"endTime":290.53,"body":"was I would, I'm crazy."},{"startTime":291.53,"endTime":295.86,"body":"I would do it all again and again. And"},{"startTime":291.53,"endTime":295.86,"body":"this is how I know I am an entrepreneur,"},{"startTime":295.86,"endTime":299.58,"body":"because those days are dark and"},{"startTime":295.86,"endTime":299.58,"body":"lonely. And I can't tell you,"},{"startTime":300.07,"endTime":303.3,"body":"there's one night in particular"},{"startTime":300.07,"endTime":303.3,"body":"that I'm thinking of,"},{"startTime":303.4,"endTime":308.26,"body":"and it was in September of 2022"},{"startTime":303.4,"endTime":308.26,"body":"where I could not sleep in the middle"},{"startTime":308.26,"endTime":312.14,"body":"of the night. And I got up not"},{"startTime":308.26,"endTime":312.14,"body":"wanting to disturb my husband,"},{"startTime":312.14,"endTime":315.74,"body":"and also on the back of"},{"startTime":312.14,"endTime":315.74,"body":"having conversations with"},{"startTime":315.74,"endTime":320.22,"body":"partner. And we saw the same situation"},{"startTime":315.74,"endTime":320.22,"body":"and we saw it different. My husband,"},{"startTime":320.22,"endTime":324.82,"body":"very linear, very"},{"startTime":320.22,"endTime":324.82,"body":"practical, very concrete."},{"startTime":324.92,"endTime":326.34,"body":"And I was like, no, no,"},{"startTime":326.34,"endTime":329.34,"body":"there's a bunch of things that you"},{"startTime":326.34,"endTime":329.34,"body":"don't see or you don't understand."},{"startTime":329.47,"endTime":330.62,"body":"To which she responded,"},{"startTime":330.69,"endTime":334.3,"body":"I see everything that you see and I am"},{"startTime":330.69,"endTime":334.3,"body":"telling you there is a different outcome."},{"startTime":334.3,"endTime":338.42,"body":"And I felt so misunderstood, and I"},{"startTime":334.3,"endTime":338.42,"body":"felt so frustrated. I felt scared."},{"startTime":339.06,"endTime":342.83,"body":"It's like two or three o'clock in the"},{"startTime":339.06,"endTime":342.83,"body":"morning and I get up outta bed and I walk"},{"startTime":343.22,"endTime":348.19,"body":"into the bathroom and in our bathroom"},{"startTime":343.22,"endTime":348.19,"body":"there was a door that you could shut,"},{"startTime":348.8,"endTime":352.72,"body":"which is where the toilet is,"},{"startTime":348.8,"endTime":352.72,"body":"and your girl has no shame."},{"startTime":352.99,"endTime":356.48,"body":"I shut that door and I sat"},{"startTime":352.99,"endTime":356.48,"body":"on that floor and I was like,"},{"startTime":356.67,"endTime":359.04,"body":"I feel so sick with the"},{"startTime":356.67,"endTime":359.04,"body":"decisions that I have to make."},{"startTime":359.04,"endTime":360.08,"body":"I think I'm gonna throw up."},{"startTime":360.93,"endTime":365.11,"body":"And I sat on that floor"},{"startTime":360.93,"endTime":365.11,"body":"and I cried and I was like,"},{"startTime":365.11,"endTime":367.95,"body":"please God, I don't"},{"startTime":365.11,"endTime":367.95,"body":"wanna make this decision."},{"startTime":369.22,"endTime":373.25,"body":"I don't want to decide. I actually said,"},{"startTime":373.48,"endTime":377.13,"body":"I want it to happen to me"},{"startTime":373.48,"endTime":377.13,"body":"that way I'm abdicated."},{"startTime":377.16,"endTime":381.01,"body":"I don't have to deal with it"},{"startTime":377.16,"endTime":381.01,"body":"instead of me happening to it."},{"startTime":382.76,"endTime":385.51,"body":"So when I look back at that moment,"},{"startTime":386.25,"endTime":390.75,"body":"the lowest of my lows"},{"startTime":386.25,"endTime":390.75,"body":"in 2022, I ask myself,"},{"startTime":391.18,"endTime":395.88,"body":"what if it never ended?"},{"startTime":391.18,"endTime":395.88,"body":"What if there were, oh Lord,"},{"startTime":395.88,"endTime":398.84,"body":"please wait baby Jesus."},{"startTime":395.88,"endTime":398.84,"body":"No, I don't want it to be."},{"startTime":399.22,"endTime":404.0,"body":"But what if there are 27 other moments"},{"startTime":399.22,"endTime":404.0,"body":"where I'm sitting in front of the"},{"startTime":404.0,"endTime":407.86,"body":"commode crying? What if there"},{"startTime":404.0,"endTime":407.86,"body":"are 270 of those moments?"},{"startTime":408.37,"endTime":411.46,"body":"What if there are 2,700 of those moments?"},{"startTime":411.46,"endTime":416.18,"body":"What if there are 27,000 more of"},{"startTime":411.46,"endTime":416.18,"body":"those moments? They"},{"startTime":447.93,"endTime":449.21,"body":"why? And they were like, Hey,"},{"startTime":449.47,"endTime":451.65,"body":"I'm not gonna give you any"},{"startTime":449.47,"endTime":451.65,"body":"space for your limitations,"},{"startTime":451.85,"endTime":453.49,"body":"although if you would like"},{"startTime":451.85,"endTime":453.49,"body":"to share them, go ahead."},{"startTime":453.58,"endTime":456.01,"body":"If you would like to die on"},{"startTime":453.58,"endTime":456.01,"body":"that sword, go right ahead,"},{"startTime":456.27,"endTime":460.05,"body":"but we want more for you, not from you."},{"startTime":461.13,"endTime":463.59,"body":"And on the back of what"},{"startTime":461.13,"endTime":463.59,"body":"happened last year,"},{"startTime":463.66,"endTime":468.09,"body":"I realized that there was a"},{"startTime":463.66,"endTime":468.09,"body":"quote by Nipsey Hussle that"},{"startTime":468.23,"endTime":470.29,"body":"and it went something along the lines of,"},{"startTime":470.34,"endTime":472.61,"body":"if you don't hang out with"},{"startTime":470.34,"endTime":472.61,"body":"people who are challenging you,"},{"startTime":472.61,"endTime":474.29,"body":"if you don't hang out with"},{"startTime":472.61,"endTime":474.29,"body":"people who support you,"},{"startTime":474.29,"endTime":476.25,"body":"if you're not hanging out with"},{"startTime":474.29,"endTime":476.25,"body":"people who want the best for you,"},{"startTime":476.39,"endTime":478.89,"body":"you don't have a circle, you have a cage."},{"startTime":480.39,"endTime":485.08,"body":"I realized that there were"},{"startTime":480.39,"endTime":485.08,"body":"people in my life who,"},{"startTime":485.08,"endTime":488.52,"body":"for all intents and purposes, I"},{"startTime":485.08,"endTime":488.52,"body":"know they loved me and I loved them,"},{"startTime":488.7,"endTime":490.96,"body":"but their doubt, their playing small,"},{"startTime":491.0,"endTime":495.12,"body":"their game was keeping me"},{"startTime":491.0,"endTime":495.12,"body":"in a cage next to them."},{"startTime":496.36,"endTime":501.06,"body":"And I had to come to the point in my"},{"startTime":496.36,"endTime":501.06,"body":"relationship with people who were around"},{"startTime":501.06,"endTime":502.58,"body":"me. I was okay."},{"startTime":503.25,"endTime":507.02,"body":"I was okay letting go of relationships"},{"startTime":503.25,"endTime":507.02,"body":"that no longer served me."},{"startTime":508.12,"endTime":510.58,"body":"And I knew that to be"},{"startTime":508.12,"endTime":510.58,"body":"the case for a while,"},{"startTime":511.4,"endTime":513.74,"body":"but I actually said it out loud."},{"startTime":515.07,"endTime":517.9,"body":"It was not easy,"},{"startTime":519.73,"endTime":524.07,"body":"but I did it because I realized that"},{"startTime":519.73,"endTime":524.07,"body":"who I wanted to be and who I needed to"},{"startTime":524.07,"endTime":527.47,"body":"become in 2023, I had to openly own that."},{"startTime":527.75,"endTime":530.27,"body":"I am no longer that person"},{"startTime":527.75,"endTime":530.27,"body":"and I will no longer hide."},{"startTime":530.54,"endTime":535.15,"body":"I will speak my truth even if it"},{"startTime":530.54,"endTime":535.15,"body":"causes me to lose a relationship."},{"startTime":535.9,"endTime":537.44,"body":"But that right there, that decision,"},{"startTime":537.44,"endTime":541.28,"body":"it actually served for something that was"},{"startTime":537.44,"endTime":541.28,"body":"a little bit more for me because I had"},{"startTime":541.28,"endTime":545.56,"body":"to ask myself, not just in relationships,"},{"startTime":541.28,"endTime":545.56,"body":"I had to ask it in business,"},{"startTime":545.56,"endTime":548.24,"body":"I had to ask it in life. I"},{"startTime":545.56,"endTime":548.24,"body":"had to ask it of spirituality."},{"startTime":548.24,"endTime":549.64,"body":"I had to ask it of investment."},{"startTime":549.64,"endTime":554.28,"body":"It's are you willing to sacrifice in"},{"startTime":549.64,"endTime":554.28,"body":"the short term for what you want in the"},{"startTime":554.28,"endTime":559.09,"body":"long term? And I have to tell you"},{"startTime":554.28,"endTime":559.09,"body":"that like a child, you know, \u003claugh\u003e,"},{"startTime":559.09,"endTime":561.53,"body":"I'm like, oh, millennial,"},{"startTime":559.09,"endTime":561.53,"body":"like I want it now."},{"startTime":561.56,"endTime":566.01,"body":"I want everything and I want it now. And"},{"startTime":561.56,"endTime":566.01,"body":"it's like veruca salt from Willy Wonka."},{"startTime":566.12,"endTime":568.45,"body":"It's like Veruca sweetheart."},{"startTime":566.12,"endTime":568.45,"body":"I'm Shalene Peanuts,"},{"startTime":568.45,"endTime":571.09,"body":"the old school original Willy Wonka."},{"startTime":571.15,"endTime":575.65,"body":"And I was veruca salt saying I"},{"startTime":571.15,"endTime":575.65,"body":"wanted everything and I want it now."},{"startTime":575.99,"endTime":578.37,"body":"And that does not work in life."},{"startTime":580.02,"endTime":584.23,"body":"I distinctly in 2022, I just look"},{"startTime":580.02,"endTime":584.23,"body":"back at that year, I was like, dang,"},{"startTime":584.23,"endTime":585.91,"body":"that year just kind of was like a it."},{"startTime":585.91,"endTime":589.71,"body":"It was the golden boot that gave me"},{"startTime":585.91,"endTime":589.71,"body":"a arse kick in that I'll never forget"},{"startTime":590.03,"endTime":594.43,"body":"\u003claugh\u003e in all good ways, because I"},{"startTime":590.03,"endTime":594.43,"body":"realized I had to get in control and say,"},{"startTime":594.43,"endTime":599.39,"body":"I am sacrificing not, oh, I don't"},{"startTime":594.43,"endTime":599.39,"body":"have, I don't have enough time."},{"startTime":599.39,"endTime":603.95,"body":"I don't have enough money. I don't have"},{"startTime":599.39,"endTime":603.95,"body":"resources. No, that did if I so chose,"},{"startTime":604.02,"endTime":607.75,"body":"I just decided to spend my"},{"startTime":604.02,"endTime":607.75,"body":"money, my time, my resources,"},{"startTime":607.75,"endTime":611.71,"body":"my energy in a much perceivable smaller"},{"startTime":607.75,"endTime":611.71,"body":"game into playing something bigger"},{"startTime":612.36,"endTime":614.29,"body":"that I had to ask myself,"},{"startTime":614.29,"endTime":618.45,"body":"are you willing in the short term to"},{"startTime":614.29,"endTime":618.45,"body":"sacrifice for what you want in the long"},{"startTime":618.45,"endTime":620.01,"body":"term? My answer was yes."},{"startTime":620.31,"endTime":624.89,"body":"And all of a sudden it put me"},{"startTime":620.31,"endTime":624.89,"body":"in a place of power of owning"},{"startTime":624.89,"endTime":628.56,"body":"that decision. And I think"},{"startTime":624.89,"endTime":628.56,"body":"that when I look back at it,"},{"startTime":629.25,"endTime":634.05,"body":"the thing I would tell"},{"startTime":629.25,"endTime":634.05,"body":"myself was how thankful I was"},{"startTime":634.22,"endTime":638.77,"body":"to have the courage to let"},{"startTime":634.22,"endTime":638.77,"body":"go of what is good for what"},{"startTime":639.17,"endTime":642.78,"body":"could be great. Now, we"},{"startTime":639.17,"endTime":642.78,"body":"don't know. It will be great."},{"startTime":642.78,"endTime":646.5,"body":"There have been plenty tough times that"},{"startTime":642.78,"endTime":646.5,"body":"I have let go of something that was good"},{"startTime":646.5,"endTime":648.94,"body":"for the hopes that it would be great."},{"startTime":646.5,"endTime":648.94,"body":"And when I was in the middle of it,"},{"startTime":648.94,"endTime":652.34,"body":"I was like, oh no, this is not the"},{"startTime":648.94,"endTime":652.34,"body":"path to greatness.
