Jasmine Star 00:00:00 The truth of the matter is, is the markets always right if they're not buying? The offer isn't what they desire. My main objective was to say, how do I figure out what people want? What do people really, really want? Want to know how I went from million dollar years to million dollar months? Even after struggling for years to create a business that actually made money. I'm talking about any money. Does this sound familiar? You've built a business, you've tried the strategies, you've implemented frameworks, even hired coaches and invested in courses. But deep down you still wonder, am I the reason it's not working? I recently taught a free, no pitch live class that showed why your next level of success isn't about working harder, it's about thinking differently. I revealed the three money beliefs that helped me go from struggling entrepreneur to building multiple seven and eight figure businesses so you can unlock the mindset and do the same. So why? Why did I teach a free no pitch class? Well, I wanted to hear from you.
Jasmine Star 00:00:53 Yes, you. At the end of the live class, I asked people to complete a one minute, three question survey so I could learn what classes to teach in the future, what topics would help you build your business and what you'd find valuable? But I'm not going to talk about that right now. First, I want to explain more about this live class and why I loved it. I'm going to cut to the chase and let you know that I'm going to share a recording of that class right about now, but here's what you can expect from it. The exact money belief shift that I made to go from million dollar years to million dollar month. Why Failure is Your Greatest Growth tool and how to reframe setbacks and strategic breakthroughs. Science backed ways your mind can literally make you more money, and how to release the pressure and adopt a mindset. Beliefs that lead to real, sustainable business results. This just wasn't a mindset fluff or woo woo tips. It was a proven framework rooted in personal transformation and real world results that made me millions.
Jasmine Star 00:01:42 So now let's dive into the video. Welcome to the three money beliefs that made me millions. I am so happy you're here, and I'm so happy that you chose today as the day that you begin to start changing your life, your mindset in the millions that you are going to make as a byproduct. My name is Jasmine Star and I am teaching this live masterclass from Newport Beach, California. Wherever in the world you are. Thank you. I appreciate you being here. So for those of you who don't know, my name is Jasmine Star and I love to read. I will read cereal boxes. I will read the morning newspaper. I love spending my weekends reading books, and I'm the kind of person that will go to the store. And then I'm reading magazines while I wait for people to check out my food. So just imagine my surprise and delight when I read about the spaghetti problem. So professor and researcher Peter Spellman set out to answer the question, who solves problems the best? And I thought this was so fascinating because he took large groups of people, so large groups of lawyers, large groups of students, large groups of CEOs, of engineers, of dentists.
Jasmine Star 00:02:51 And he wanted to know who solves problems the best. So what he did is he got hundreds or thousands of lawyers and put them all together and thousands of students and put them all together and dentists all together. And then he gave them 20 pieces of spaghetti, a meter of tape, a marshmallow, and a piece of string, and he asked who could build the highest tower. That was it. So to me, when I read the story, the end was better than fiction because I wanted to know, okay, of all these people who did it best. So I will tell you who did the worst. The MBA students and the lawyers did the worst because they spent most of their time arguing or trying to decide who was going to be the leader. Okay, engineers, they did very well, which when you might expect it because they build towers for a living. But just imagine my surprise and delight when, during his G.L. conference presentation, Peter Stillman revealed a photo of kindergarten students taking the grand prize.
Jasmine Star 00:03:57 So that led most of the people to ask, how did a group of five year olds beat professional engineers? And he said, by a simple process of experimentation and iteration, the five year olds just kept on experimenting and changing. And I read the story, and I was completely fascinated because what he says, and he stood on a stage speaking to people like you and me, people who are interested in growing our lives and growing our businesses. And he said that the kindergarteners won because they weren't afraid of failure. They just simply said, we have a goal. Let's make it happen. We believe we can build the highest tower. And I found that so fascinating because the kindergarteners didn't assume they knew the rules. They were just the only group to ask for more spaghetti. They didn't waste time learning how to build. They didn't study how to build. They weren't talking about what to build. They weren't writing a mission statement about what they were going to build. The kindergarteners just started creating, making mistakes and learning.
Jasmine Star 00:05:04 Think about who else can do this. You and me, as entrepreneurs, we're going to create and we're going to make mistakes and then we're going to learn. So what he said is he stood on this conference stage and he said the people who were planning weren't learning. The people who were trying and failing were. So if you are here and you're watching this and you are feeling like you're trying and failing, guess what? You have the possibility of building a very tall tower. As long as we did what? Well, what could we learn from kindergarteners? I have a five year old daughter, and I have to tell you daily, she is reminding me to apply the right mindset to success and failure. Could I approach building a business the way that my five year old would create a tower? There's no failure. We just have to continue to build. And so in order for us to get on the same page about building a mindset for millions, I want to come here and be like, this is the mindset, but we can't build the right mindset unless we share the three agreements I made with myself in success and failure.
Jasmine Star 00:06:23 I am going to share with you everything you're going to need to do, and the things that I did to help me build a business. Tens of millions of dollars in my business. But there were three agreements that I made in preparation of that. So if you would like to have a mindset that builds tens of millions, then what I'm going to invite you to do is to agree to the set of agreements. Because if we're on the same page, then we can excel and expand. So three agreements that I made in success and failure. These are the three agreements I made before I could change my three mindsets. Agreement number one if I don't quit, I can't lose. If I don't quit, I can't lose. So I'm going to be very honest and let you know that I wasn't. And I am not the best, the most talented or special. But what makes me different is I simply don't stop when other people do. I didn't stop when other people did, and I kept reminding myself if I didn't quit, I couldn't lose.
Jasmine Star 00:07:24 So let's go back to 2007, where I first came to this agreement. And so I had this dream. I had dropped out of law school, my mom had brain cancer, and I decided with my life, she was 50 and I was 25. And so I promptly had a midlife crisis. And I was like, if I die when I'm 50, do I want to die a lawyer? Or do I want to take a chance on this dream that I have? So I decided in 2007 to become a photographer. But I didn't even own a camera. And that sounds crazy to most people because it was. And so when I started taking pictures and putting my photos out on the internet, these are the very things that people wrote about me. That I was talentless, that I was uneducated, and that I was doing it wrong. And that alone is very mean and hurtful. But the worst part was that it was true. I didn't have talent. I wasn't educated, and yeah, I'm a self-taught photographer.
Jasmine Star 00:08:24 I was doing it wrong. But then I reminded myself most people quit right there. If I if you put something out on the internet, if you. So jackets, if you clean teeth, if you sell digital courses. And I said you're talentless, you're uneducated, you're doing it wrong. Most people would say, you know what? You're right, I can't. This is not for me. But if you told yourself. Agreement number one, I am not going to quit. Because if I don't quit, I can't lose that first year of photography. I made over $100,000 my first year in business. And guess what? Over time, I became talented. And over time I got educated. And over time I figured out how to do it my own way. If I had quit, I would have not earned the right to do those things. So agreement number one, as we pan ourselves to making millions of millions and a millionaires mindset, well then we have to say I'm not going to quit no matter what people say.
Jasmine Star 00:09:28 Agreement number two, that I made with myself before I expanded into a money mindset. Number two, I don't know everything, but I can figure out anything. I don't know everything, but I can figure out anything. So I don't know about you, but remember I said, you know, the first iteration of my career? I started off to be a photographer, and I needed to build a website, and I didn't know how I needed to learn marketing, and I didn't know how. I'd never done sales before. And I thought to myself, oh my goodness, there's so many things I don't know. Guess what? We all face that and we don't know the answers to everything, but we can learn anything. And so as you're writing notes, I want you to write that first agreement. First agreement number one. If I don't quit, I can't lose an agreement. Number two, I can learn anything. Let's break this down. In 2009, I started creating digital products for an online store.
Jasmine Star 00:10:27 I had a service based business, and then photographers were asking how I was building my business. Most photographers in their first year would not make $100,000. And they said, you know, you're really not that talented and you're really not the best, but you seem to be making a career out of this. They said, how are you doing that? What are the things you're doing? And so I had never done this before. I had never created an online store. I had never created a short form videos. I had never created a PDF. I didn't even know how. So I created this online store, and I put it like a $19 PDF, and I made these short video tutorials for $3. And I have to tell you, it was scrappy and it was imperfect and I didn't know how, but I decided I can learn. I believe the same for you. If we don't have the agreement that we can learn anything, it's going to be very hard for us to have a money mindset that will get us millions.
Jasmine Star 00:11:18 So what happened? I didn't know what to do, but I believed I could figure it out. I believed I could figure it out, and it resulted in making over $100,000 in my first year, selling a $19 PDF and $3 video tutorials. So if what we're going through here are a series of agreements. Agreement number one is if I don't quit, I can't lose. Agreement number two, I don't know everything, but I can figure out anything. And the last agreement before we move into how to create a money mindset is number three. Everything is happening for me. Everything is happening for me. And I mean this in the good and the bad and the oh so painfully ugly. I had to tell myself that even when I fail, it's happening for me. You see, back then I didn't read Peter Spellman work. I didn't know that failure was the cost of success. I didn't know that in order to build the tallest tower, I had to fail more than other people. And so I want to ask you that question.
Jasmine Star 00:12:26 Does it feel like you've had a series of missteps or things you've started and you couldn't complete it all the way? I am here to tell you that there is no such thing as a misstep. Everything is in preparation of the thing that you are sent ultimately to do. Because even when I fail, it's happening for me. And so on. Your notes, I just want you to have an agreement with yourself. Everything is happening for me, even when it feels like it isn't. Now let's go to 2014. In 2014, I have to tell you, this is when everything fell apart. And what I will tell you now is that it fell apart then for everything to come back together better and stronger. Because I will tell you, in 2014 I made some really epic mistakes. I lost contracts and I had a lot of sponsorships that were pulled. And I will tell you, it was the darkest time of my career. So in 2014, I had generated $400,000 of revenue, but I was exhausted and I was hurt, and I was angry because the other contracts and sponsorships were supposed to be $200,000 in my business, and I felt so exhausted, hurt and angry.
Jasmine Star 00:13:39 I don't know if you've ever been there before. Were things outside of your control are happening and you just are like, why? Why? Why is it happening to me? And that was the year that I decided to say everything is not happening to me. It's happening for me. So it's at this time that everything's coming together, asking me to change my mindset. But on three agreements. Number one, if I don't quit, I can't lose agreement. Number two, I don't know everything, but I can figure out anything. And number three, everything is happening for me. So what happens this year that radically begins to change my business? In 2015, I created an Instagram for business course in. I charged $197 for it. Here's the thing. When other people try to tear you down, you're going to say, I'm going to come back stronger. If you, like me, have never created an online course and you're like, I don't know where to begin. Welcome to the club.
Jasmine Star 00:14:39 We don't know everything, but we can figure out anything. And if I don't quit, I can't lose. So what happens on the back of $197 course, I need $255,000 in five days. That was more than the contracts and the sponsorships I lost. That would have taken me a year and I made more in five days. I continued to launch that course and in that year made over $1 million. Everything was happening for me. And I don't know what you're going through today, but let me promise you, everything is happening for you if you believe it. So here are the facts. I needed to accept three agreements before I can make the three money mindset shifts. So are we on the same page? I would love to hear from you in the chat. Could you make similar agreements in yourself and your business because Peter Spelman, I wish Peter Spelman, I wish I would have read his work early on to say the more I failed, the faster I am getting to success. If what I don't quit, if I figure out what I don't know, and if I believe that everything's happening for me.
Jasmine Star 00:15:51 So if we are having that agreement, let's now move into our money mindset. Because once I believed I could make money, I have to pause here for a second and let you know I'm the daughter of an immigrant. I am a first generation Latina. My father is from Mexico, my mother is from Puerto Rico, and my dad came to the United States and he was working up to four jobs at one time for his family of seven. I have to tell you, I didn't grow up thinking that I could make money. I thought the greatest that I could ever was hoped for was a corporate job with a W-2 and insurance. That was my biggest dream. And then all of a sudden, the internet came around and I realized that digital offers could be part of a future for me. So once I believed I could make money online in success and in failure, what did I need to believe about money? So I'm going to explain how we went from million dollar years into $1 million month, and you're going to learn about the three money beliefs that made me tens of million dollars as the business expanded.
Jasmine Star 00:16:57 So what I just did in those early agreement years was focus on one part of my career. But after I started creating courses and memberships and masterminds, everything began to extend on the back of that, and it became bigger than I ever dreamt. But here's the thing I would not have been able to hold the space for tens of millions of dollars until I changed my money mindset. And that is what we're going to get into right now. And so my goal here is I hope that this has been valuable so far. I have to tell you, I created this because I'm like it came to me and I'm like, Jasmine, just teach this class about things that have helped you in the past, and I have a lot more to share. And I'm going to keep, you know, talking and you're going to keep taking notes. And we're going to have that survey at the end, because I still would like to continue to show up and serve you well. So here we go. The three money beliefs that made me tens of millions.
Jasmine Star 00:17:43 Money belief number one you're rewarded for results. You're rewarded for results. So if you tell me you help me lose weight and I lose weight, I have a result. If you are going to tell me how to bake the world's best cake, and I create this cake, that's so much better than I could have ever created my own. That's a result. If you help me how to become a better parent or improve my tennis serve. And then I get results on what it is you teach me. Oh, what do I do? I brag about you. I tell you about my friends, my family. I might even post about you online. Why you're rewarded for results. Very few people are rewarded for just an idea. So I want to tell you that if you look at your results that you're getting for people and you're getting them. Bravo, Travolta. Because when you get results, more people will pay you more money. That's it. That's it. What shifted my mindset first was results above everything else.
Jasmine Star 00:18:44 Because the best marketing will never be better than real results. So in 2017, my husband and I decided to launch a membership helping business owners create marketing for their own businesses. So we launched and we just had this dream. We're like, oh my gosh, if 500 people can join us in that first week that we launched, it would blow our minds. But what was the main goal here? I'm going to change my money mindset to bring in the changes that I want. We welcomed 2444 members in five days, and we made $1 million that year from the membership, and that was in addition to the other courses and digital products we had been launching. All of a sudden, I said, in five days, 2444 people come in. How do we get them results? Because if we can get results for 2444 people, game over. So we said get results, get results, get results. And so we had people in the community come in and say, I used the content that you taught me.
Jasmine Star 00:19:51 I had a real go viral, 5 million views, 20,000 followers, and we had one of our biggest months in sales. She put that in the community and other people were like, I want her results. So they started doing things and getting these amazing results. So we kept on saying the better results we get for people, the more people are going to find value in the offer, results are rewarded. So now I get the honor and privilege to tell you that we have served over 40,000 business owners to create, plan, and schedule. Their marketing results are Rewarded. The second money. Belief that made me tens of millions was that the market is always right, the market's always right. So customers are the market people who buy from you. That's what we call the market. Now customers will buy what they desire. If no one is buying, your offer isn't what they desire. I want to pause here. If you have an offer and you've sold it once or twice or just a couple times and you're like, why are people not buying? The truth of the matter is, is the markets always right if they're not buying, the offer isn't what they desire.
Jasmine Star 00:21:08 And if I knew the market is always right and people will buy what they desire. My main objective was to say, how do I figure out what people want? What do people really, really want? So I had this idea and people might say, okay, Jasmine. On the outside, it looks like you put things out and there's always they're always successful. I'm here to tell you. In 2024, I wanted to launch a live event. I had this idea. I convinced the team. I'm like, it's going to be incredible. And I said, it's going to be this, this and this. And we started testing it with a group of people and nobody thought. And so I said, well, maybe we just need to show it to more people, right? We just need to show it more to the right people. And then maybe like two people said that they were maybe the market's always right. The market didn't want the live event for me at that time. Okay. The market's never wrong.
Jasmine Star 00:22:05 In 2025 we debuted and offer called the consistent 10-K. It's a 90 day program where we teach people how to build consistent 10-K months from digital offers. In the beginning, it started off as a tiny little test, but immediately product market fit Like we started telling people about it and people are like, yes, I'll sign up. Yes, I'll sign up. Yeah. The demand was so much that we actually had to limit how many people could invest. We're like, this is growing too fast. There's too many people who are getting results. The market is always right. Oh my gosh, this is absolutely incredible. The market wanted this offer. Market didn't want that other offer. The market's always right. In fact, here is a testimonial from somebody who in less than 60 days got a 2.5 return on what she invested. And she's like we're just getting started. We focused on results. She got all of her money back in less than 60 days. She's doing the things she wants. She said, yes, the market's always right.
Jasmine Star 00:23:09 So we're talking about the three money beliefs that made me tens of millions. But before I share the third belief, it would mean the world to me. If you did a 22nd Second survey. I am telling the team that if we have enough people, fill out the survey and tell us what we want and like, I can continue to do more of these. It should take you to 20s. So it's like, help me prove to the team that these are worth our time and energy. I love hanging out. I love empowering entrepreneurs. This past weekend, somebody had asked me, so Jasmine, what do you sell? And I said, belief. And then she like kind of rolled her eyes and she's like, okay, but really what do you sell? I said, I sell belief, I sell tools that help people. But guess what? Everybody in the world has a tool that helps people. It's true. But I sell the belief in oneself that this will be the thing to get the result that they want.
Jasmine Star 00:24:06 I have a question for you. What do you sell? Truly. Not just an offer. What do you actually sell? The third money belief that made me tens of millions. The first one. What do we know about the first one? Like this. This is a conversation in the chat. What do we know about the first one? Right? The first one is results are rewarded. The second mindset belief is the market's never wrong. And third, what I call pricing poverty. Friends know your worth. Now I'm going to take a second. And I know I might rub people the wrong way, but I have to tell you that for me, my mindset was limited to how I grew up. We shopped at thrift stores and people left groceries on our porch, and that Christmas time, people from church would take up a donation for my family. And so I grew up in a very limited scope of what somebody would pay, what somebody had to pay, because I grew up and there wasn't anything to invest.
Jasmine Star 00:25:05 So my view of the world was, well, I don't know if people can pay that. Like, who would ever pay that? And then I started asking questions like, why would they pay that? And then deep down, I started asking questions. Am I worth that amount? And you might not feel that way, but. And you might not have grown up the same way I did. But I wonder if a lot of people here are asking those same questions. And I'm going to tell you that when you're asking these questions, you're coming from a poverty pricing mindset. So what I immediately had to change began in 2009. I told you that I was selling $3 video tutorials in 2009. I had a pricing poverty mindset. Who would pay this? Why would they pay this? Am I worth the $3? And then over time, I started getting emails about people's results. They were saying, like Jasmine, I just made $300 more on this shoot because of what I learned. Another email.
Jasmine Star 00:26:08 Jasmine, I just need $3,000 more on this wedding based on what I've learned. I had an email from somebody saying, Jasmine, based on what I learned, I created something in my business that brought in $30,000. I was blown away. They saw the value before I trusted myself. I was selling $3 things when they were getting 300, 3000, 30,000 worth of results. They saw in me what I couldn't see in myself. So I began to shift my perspective as my business grew, that I was the girl who charged $3 for a video, and I am now the same girl who charges $30,000 for a mastermind. So what happens? I can charge three $30,000 for an eight month mastermind, because I trust the value I provide. In order to access the mastermind. You have to be building a business that's already making over seven figures. These all these women have seven figure businesses and they want to scale to eight figures. I believe that they're going to get more than the $30,000 that they invested in the program.
Jasmine Star 00:27:27 So if we change our value proposition and we know our worth, then we're not going to be pricing in poverty. We're going to be pricing in potential and in value. And I have to think right now that you just spent 60 minutes, right, we're gonna spend about 60 minutes in this masterclass. And the reason why I'm here is because I wish somebody told me to trust my value. I wish somebody gave me money mindset advice early in my career so I wouldn't be spinning my wheels for so long asking, am I worth it? Who would pay this? Is this valuable? I am teaching this class because I wish somebody would have told me to invest in myself. I spent so long trying to be like, well, is this the thing? I don't know if I just do this, if I learn more, if I study more, if I search more for free. If I do it on my own, if I prove to myself and I believe that when you invest in yourself, you're not just buying education, you're buying time.
Jasmine Star 00:28:25 When I started buying and investing on behalf of my business, they collapsed my timeline. They said, don't make these mistakes. Here's the quickest way to get a result. Here's what you do. And I thought to myself, oh my gosh, I wasted so many years telling myself, one day you'll get there. One day you can do it. The minute I decided to invest in myself, it was the best thing that I had ever done. And so I'm here to remind you to be the one person who will tell you on this particular day, at this particular moment. Bet on yourself, please. Bet on yourself. Why? We've made agreements, friends. We said, number one, if I don't quit, I can't lose. Number two, I don't know everything, but I can learn anything. And number three, everything is happening for me. If we agree to those terms. And just like Peter Spellman in Science and Fact said, failure leads to success. If we believe that, then the money mindset becomes focus on results because the results are rewarded, then the mindset becomes what is going to happen? The mindset becomes the market is never wrong.
Jasmine Star 00:29:42 And the third mindset becomes avoid price and poverty and know your worth. We're going to get into Q&A right about now. If you haven't completed the survey, I would love if you did that because I want to teach more of these classes, but I only want to do them if they are valuable for you. So let's get into Q&A. Very, very excited. Okay, Laura, I keep hearing you mention the consistent ten K. What is that? instead of getting into that right now, I'm going to send an email. If you would like. You can get more information there. Let's keep the questions going. I did mention that it was a 90 day program to help you build ten months, but we could chat about that a little bit later. But I'm open to other questions. I just I said it's going to be pitch free, so let's make this happen. Mackenzie and Marnie. Oh, both of you had the same questions. How do you know if it's your offer that's wrong? Or if you're marketing to the wrong market? How do you find the market you're trying to sell to? Great questions.
Jasmine Star 00:30:35 In fact, I am going to tell you every time we put out an offer that really worked. So okay, so we're on the same page, right? I told you in 2024 how I said, oh, I wanted to market this live event that people didn't respond to. So I took that lesson and instead of saying I was a failure or this was a failure or I am done or no one's going to buy from me ever again, I simply said, wait a minute, I put out an offer and I didn't talk to the market every time I put something out. Successful. I spoke to the market before I made the offer, and that's what I'm going to tell you. Marney and McKenzie, please talk to your dream customer. I want you to get very specific on the person that you are trying to sell to, because when you get specific on the person you're trying to sell to and then you have conversations, they will actually tell you what they want that they think is missing in the industry.
Jasmine Star 00:31:25 So if we go back to the example in 2024, I said, oh, I know this market, I'm going to put out an offer. Guess what? People didn't want that offer. Do I really want to talk about that publicly? No, of course not. But do I want to be real with you? Absolutely. So then what was the main difference between putting out that offer in 2024 and then the constant 10-K that blew all of our minds and expectations for months, and you don't have to wait months. I just spoke to a lot of people and they started asking questions. If I had a magic wand, what would I what would you have? What do you want? What doesn't exist? What did you do in the past or that didn't get you a result? I was asking all of these questions, and literally the thing we kept hearing again and again and again is like, if I just had a digital product that brought in $10,000 a month, my life would change. And I have to tell you, how many times did I need to hear the same thing for me to say? Is it? This is it, this is it.
Jasmine Star 00:32:18 And if you were to ever talk to me about the difficulties in building out a consistent 10-K business, I will tell you that I'm just a mirror to everything that people have told me. All of our emails, all of our landing pages, all of our copy, all I did was I got things that people had said, my dream market, and I put it package out and I put it out and people are like, hey, how is Jasmine in my mind? I'm not in your mind. I just spoke to, like, hundreds of your counterparts for me to figure out, oh, if we created this solution and we gave people the support and we gave people accountability and we didn't let people slip through the cracks. Oh, my gosh, what would happen? Boom. So how do you know if it's a market or an offer? Talk to your market if they don't. If none of them are talking about the thing that you're offering to sell them, it's it's an offer problem. If your market says, oh, I really love that offer, and then they're not buying, then it's a market problem.
Jasmine Star 00:33:08 But I promise you, you're going to figure it out. I want you to have at least ten conversations with your dream customer and see the response that you get. I think your mind is going to be blown. Okay, Nina, what do you do when you feel like speaking? Like you're speaking into a void, i.e. posting on Instagram, but no one comments starting a podcast, but very few people will listen to it. Sending an email to your list but nobody responds. It feels so discouraging. So I am here to tell Nina and anybody else who feels that it has been difficult, and it feels like you're speaking into a void. The greatest people will speak into a void until it becomes a megaphone. You have to continue and push forward even when you think people are not listening. If you have looked at every overnight success, you will know and see that they've been working on it for years. If we take some of like the biggest celebrities of our time, some of the biggest, most iconic people that we look at and say, she's amazing, he's incredible.
Jasmine Star 00:34:17 How many years did they work in silence behind the scenes? And so I have to tell you that I wrote newsletters that nobody opened, and I recorded podcasts that nobody listened to, and I sent emails and I wrote Instagram post and I went live on Facebook and nobody was there. And I continued honing my skills. Why? Because everything is happening for me and the market is never wrong. So if one day I did a Facebook Live or an Instagram Live and nobody was watching, and I did it on the same day, on the same time the following week, and 1 or 2 people watched, then I said, oh, this topic is more interesting than the last topic. And so every time you send a newsletter and you get more opens or more click thrus, or less opens and less click through. It's teaching you something every time you go live. And one person watched versus zero is teaching you something. But the problem is, is that we make up in our minds when our results should happen, right? Remember how I said you're rewarded for your results? Except when you and I begin, we tell ourselves I should get results in about 37 days.
Jasmine Star 00:35:26 I should get results in a year. I love that, but where did you come up with that number? If you're pulling a number out of thin air and say, yeah, I should have a thousand followers in 30 days, I'd be posting every day. I love that, but where did you get that number? I love that we have goals and I love that you want to create content. But I will tell you, most people quit when nobody's opening their email. Most people quit when nobody's listening to their podcast. Most people quit when nobody's gauging on social media. It is those who push through. Those are the people who will stand the test of time. And I have to tell you that on this very day, as I go through, when I look at my marketing and I say, I'm posting out a video that I spend, you guys, I spend hours creating, I hire a videographer, and I go all in and I create these 45 minute lessons on YouTube that I pour my heart and soul in.
Jasmine Star 00:36:23 And like 200 people watch it like 200 views. That's not even 200 complete views. And sometimes people wonder, why are you doing that? That looks like such a waste of time. Nobody's paying attention. And my response is they're just not paying attention yet. Because when YouTube hits for me, there are people who are going to go back for years and say that I showed up when nobody was watching. It is those of us who will put down a library. It will those of us who will put it in the reps. When you look at somebody being Inconsistent. The only way you can judge their consistency is if you are consistent. There is a good chance, Nina, that when you came on here. Yes, Nina, that you're like, I'm sending out regular emails and posting on social media. There's a good chance that you might be seeing that. I send a newsletter every single week that I am posting on Facebook and Instagram and LinkedIn every single day, that on YouTube, I am posting twice a week that I'm dropping two podcasts every single week.
Jasmine Star 00:37:24 But the reason you can admire somebody else's consistency is because you yourself are consistent. If you want to know, oh, how does that guy build all those muscles? How does that girl have a six pack and you're in the gym every single day? You being there and watching them is proof you can judge their level of consistency. So the fact that you're telling me all this other work that you're doing is proof that you're in the arena, but the question becomes, are you going to stay there? When everybody's laughing and looking and you feel completely exposed, or are you going to cower and walk away? I have so much respect for the people who say, this is not for me, good, but for the people who stay in the arena and who are willing to be seen and noticed for the work that they're doing when nobody's paying attention. You are my people. You are my people. Because whoever sold you the lie that you can build a business overnight sold you the dang lie. What I will tell you is there is a way and a system and a methodology to build out a structure in 90 days to bring you consistent ten k months.
Jasmine Star 00:38:28 But guess what? It requires what? Consistency and work consistency when nobody's watching and work when nobody's watching. You earn the right to attention and notability and credibility. When you've done it so many times, you become an undisputable heavyweight champion of never giving up. Guess what? The person who remains at the end of the fight with the missing tooth and a punctured lung and gets back up again and again. How long are you going to stay in the ring? That's just the question. People often look at my success and I feel like I was not lucky. I just kept on getting up when people said it was the stupidest thing to keep going. And I did. So I am here to remind you that if what you want is easy, guess what? Too many other people have it. And if what you want, you see, very few people have it. It's because it's hard. Do you want that $100,000 lifestyle? Do you want that million dollar lifestyle? And very few people have it. It's hard honey.
Jasmine Star 00:39:33 If you did not wake up in that family, if you were not born to the family with money, it's hard. And guess what? You get to earn the right to be amongst the select few who say I was willing to do the work when nobody was watching until they did. Because my success will silence their doubts. How many years are you willing to wait and work in silence before your moment happens and everything comes in like a lightning bolt? Ask yourself, are you willing to do the work? Let's do the work. Let's figure out the timeline and let's get building. Okay, that went on a long time. Okay, I'm gonna try to get you. I've built AI tools that my audience say they love. They comment, they damn even say they want to buy. But I'm struggling to convert that excitement into sales. How do you bridge the gap between validation and revenue? I'm going to go back and I'm going to answer it the exact same way that I did with McKinsey and Mani.
Jasmine Star 00:40:25 You absolutely need to talk to your audience. Many of you who are on this live chat sent me a DM. I was responding to DMs this morning saying, I can't wait to see you in class today. Can't wait to see you in class today. Do you know that if I sent people who came to this class a question that says, hey, was there anything in this class that you wish you knew more of, or is there anything that I could help you with? They're going to respond to me. You are going to respond to me. Why? Because you came up here and you're engaging. You're already warm. So, Raisa. People are coming to you and being like. They're engaging. They like it. Go to them and say, why haven't you bought. Maybe not like that, but you'd say, what would it require? What would you need? What would need to be true for you to make this investment? I'm telling you, your path to development and market expansion is based on what people find value.
Jasmine Star 00:41:09 They love it, but if they won't pay for it, there's a gap. But I don't need you to pontificate what the gap is. Ask them. Ask them. What do you find most valuable? What do you wish it had? What would make you or want cause you to invest $5, $50, $500 a month for this AI tool. They will give you answers and then you ask yourself, is that the problem I want to solve? Does it scale in the way that I want it? Is it a product market fit? Right. Because what do we know about expansive money mindset? You're rewarded for the results. But first we got to get people into your apps so they get results. So we got to first figure out the problem. How did they get into it. So they get results. And then once they get the results, the market is never wrong. If they stop paying for the app, the value exchange wasn't there. Once we fix that, great, then we move on to the next thing.
Jasmine Star 00:41:56 And how do we price it so that we're not pricing according to who would buy? Why would they buy? We're not having a poverty mindset. We are actually having an abundant mindset. I'm charging for the value that you're getting, not for what I think it's worth. These are really great questions. Jessica. I have a hard time with mindset when I want to invest in myself, but do not have the buying power to do so. What is your advice for what it feels like using a cup to save a sinking boat? Okay, so I'm going to say something that might rub a couple people the wrong way. And here's the great news there is not a right or wrong. If you came to ten money mindset classes, we might have a very different response to this question. So this is just my response. It might not be the right response for you. I have discovered that if I am on a boat that feels like it's sinking and I'm using a cup, I am never going to get out of that sinking boat.
Jasmine Star 00:42:55 The question was not how do I move faster with my cup? The question became how do I find a way to build another ship? I meet investments on myself. I bet on myself. The reason I created this was because for so many years, I wouldn't allow myself to invest in programs to learn. And here's the thing. Obviously it sounds like, oh, it's a snake oil salesman. Like, she's so good at selling because she sells digital products. Well, the reason I sell and believe in digital products is because I bought them in 2024, I spent $50,000 for a four month mastermind with Gary Vaynerchuk. And you want to know what worth every penny. Every time I have invested in figuring out how do I get a bucket? Or how do I build a bigger ship, I did the work when nobody was paying attention. I made a strategic bet that I said, if I get the result of the bucket or a new boat, I'm off to the races. If you don't find a way to get creative around financing, building a bucket or a boat.
Jasmine Star 00:44:00 Now here's one thing I am saying this only to the doers. I am not saying this to people who think about getting results. The reason I'm able to take a strategic bet on myself, and the reason I believe you're here. You came to a money mindset class, right? I'm not speaking to the average person. I'm coming and speaking to somebody who's growth minded and figuring out like, how do I make the best next move? But if you keep on doing the same thing and you expect a different result, you're not going to get one. You have to radically change your environment. So strategically, so mind boggling freaking bananas that you're like, oh, this was the way out. I say this having just four months ago. Spent $25,000 on a 90 day program to teach me something. I needed to go in my business. And sometimes we'll look at that and I'm like, Jasmine, how in the world are you spending $25,000 on this 90 day program? And I said, because what I learned in there will either make me $25,000 in $1 in 90 days, or it will save me $25,000 in mistakes.
Jasmine Star 00:45:08 I invested $100,000 in a coach this year, and I was ROI positive. Return on investment ROI. I was ROI positive in the first month. What this woman downloaded in my brain about the business that I was building, I was like, oh my God, oh my God. Like, this is so much work. This is so much work. This is so much work and there's so much potential. Do I believe that that investment with her will make this business $100,000 and one? Absolutely. I've been working with her now three months, and it's the one where am I? So the question becomes, if you have a cup, ask yourself, how do I strategically build a bucket or build a new boat? Chances are it won't come by continuously using your cup in the broken boat. You've got to find a creative way to take a bet on yourself. Have I done creative financing? Absolutely. But I always knew that I'm going to bet on myself. Not because I'm unique or I'm because I'm special.
Jasmine Star 00:46:09 I went through and I made agreements to myself before I made those investments. What were those agreements where you went through them? If I don't quit, I can't lose. Everything is happening for me. I don't know everything, but I can figure out anything. Those agreements have been life changing because once I said, baby girl, you're not going down. Because if you're not dead, you're not done. If you have those agreements and you will push through, then let's get to talking because results get rewarded. The market is always right. No, you're worth no more poverty pricing. I hope that that helps. Lori Ann, are you here? Girl. Okay. We'll talk about Lori Ann. Lori Ann was one of our early, early students inconsistent 10-K. Now, remember when I said we were meeting people and we're like, well, we need to slow down? Lori Ann was probably in the first eight people that joined the program, and the girl came in and she just went to work.
Jasmine Star 00:47:03 And I can't tell you how many times she's working with coaches inside of the community. And they're saying, Lori Ann is showing up, Lori and is just doing the work. Lauren. And all of a sudden she's like, hey guys, it's working. And we're like, it's working because you're doing the work there and you're the best. Okay. Patricia, as a 30 year old veteran teaching Pilates to teachers, I want to go all out promoting my online courses and stop trading hours for dollars. I fear putting myself out there when it comes to demoing, showing people what I do for two reasons. One, I'm not going to read your two reasons quite yet. Okay, so if you're the first time that that we're here and we're just meeting and you're the first time you've ever experienced me. I'm going to give you a little bit classification of who I am. I am 50% holy and 50% hood. Sometimes I come in very sideways with people and have very strong opinions, and people look at that and they're like, God, she's just so much and my responsive, am I too much or are you not enough? And so when I give these responses, I want you to know that my hood self is coming out and not everybody is ready for that.
Jasmine Star 00:48:03 So the holy side would be like, keep your chin up, buttercup. Always keep moving. Positive mindset. If I say it's true, it is. I am more like if I say it's true, I'm going to do the work to ensure that that's the case. So you're saying I am afraid to show people my demos and my hood? Response to that is what a luxury to be afraid of demoing. What a luxury. What every business that I have ever started when I was making $100,000 or $1 million every month, I am not afforded the luxury to dwell in fear. If I didn't show up today to talk to you, Patricia, I was robbing God myself and you of my purpose. You have been put on this earth to do something. And so if you would like to choose fear and stay small, I will get out of your way. But if you would like to choose potential despite what other people will say, because you're not afraid of showing your Pilates online, you're afraid of what people will say about you showing your Pilates online.
Jasmine Star 00:49:21 And I am so sorry. I have just made the decision that their opinions don't pay my bills. I taught this live class last week and people said wonderful things and people said very mean things. And you want to know what? I am not letting the haters stop me from doing the thing I was called to do. Because if I let the haters last week stop me from my purpose, this week they won. And I'm sorry. I'm a business cockroach. You can try to stamp me out. You could try to kill me. I'm gonna keep on coming back. I thrive in your darkness. Turn the light and I run I run towards my goals. I win either way. So, Patricia, before we get into what's stopping you, let's just keep the main thing. The main thing. You're not afraid of your demo. You're afraid of what people are going to say while you're demoing. And if you would like to let their opinions rob you of your dream. I will not fight for your limitations.
Jasmine Star 00:50:18 If you would like to say, I'm going to continue to show up until I blow up, regardless of what they say. Well welcome aboard. We can talk, but you have to make that decision first. So let's talk about why Patricia won't show up. Because what I do are not Pilates exercise, but basic gym routine. Squats, hinges that many Pilates teachers struggle with that and then link to Pilates. So Pilates becomes much more effective and too, because I'm 70, so even I'm stronger than ever before. I'm still 70, not 44. Gorgeous and glamorous. Help! Thank you. I have to tell you, Patricia, that there is a 68 year old who wants to become strong and doesn't want to learn it from a 44 year old. I don't want to invest in a life coach who's 21. I also don't want to go to a dentist who just got out of dental school. Same facts, different beliefs. So, Patricia, if you would like to believe that there aren't anybody who would invest in your services as a 70 year old strong Pilates instructor, 70 years old and doing squats and dips, go on.
Jasmine Star 00:51:27 I actually think you can go viral on TikTok and Instagram. I do. Put your content out there. Let them judge you and then let your success silence their doubts. Thank you. Christina. How do you deal with comparison? As it appears that everyone else is building successful businesses when I'm struggling. Do not compare their success reels to your behind the scenes. I didn't make that quote up, but I feel like it matters here. What you see on social media is not reality. I want to repeat that what you see on social media is not reality. And I am saying this as somebody who posts on social media every single day. What you see on social media is 0.0% of what I do every single day. So what we want to have is 100% opinion on somebody else's point 1%, you are setting yourself up for disaster. Oprah said it best put your blinders on and go. When you see horses in a horse race. They have these blinders on because the minute they look at another horse, they would get distracted and that horse takes off.
Jasmine Star 00:52:48 But here's the beautiful thing about that analogy is that I am saying put your blinders up, because in a horse race, you're not racing against anybody. You're racing against your fear, your doubt, your family, generational financial curses. That's what you're racing from. So when you look at other people who did not live your life, who have not gone through your circumstances, who are showing you 0.1% of their reality, and you say, I can't ever have that. You're right. You're right. If you say you can't have it, you're right. But if you say I'm working toward it and I can get it. You're right. You see, the mind and the brain are one, but they're separate. The mind tells the brain what to do. The brain is a supercomputer, and the mind says, I can be a success. And the brain says we will figure it out. If the mind says, I can't ever have that, the brain says, okay, what you tell yourself. This is why I had and created this class for so many years.
Jasmine Star 00:54:01 I looked at other people and said, I can't have that. I can't have that because I'm not educated. I can't have that because I'm brown. I can't have that because I'm a woman. I can't have that because I come from immigrants. I can't have that because I never had it before. I can have it because I grew up on government assistance. I can't have that because I went to scholarship to college. I can't have that because I went to scholarship to law school. I can't have that because and what I said was true. And the minute I started saying, you can have that. If you don't quit, you can have that. If any of you don't know everything, but you can learn anything and you can have that if you promise not to quit and believe that everything is happening for you. And then once I made those agreements, I believed that my success was inevitable. Why? Because results let everybody see your results when they doubt you. The market, if they continue to buy, is always right.
Jasmine Star 00:54:56 So you ask, who are you and what do you need? And can I create that for you? And if I can do that in a digital capacity, I can see profitability in a business that I own, that I can work for whatever in the world. And I get to stand in my purpose and do the thing that I have wanted to do. And I'm going to value my worth and my experience, because I know that what you invest in this offer is going to get you such outsized results if you do the work. So my question to you, sweet, beautiful friend, is Are you willing to stop comparing your 100% to their 0.1%? Are you willing to stop comparing your behind the scenes real to their highlight reel? Are you willing to say if this is poisonous to me? Maybe I just mute them for a few weeks or a few months while I get it together? Well, I bet on me. Well, I invest on me. Well, I figure out, well, I do the dirty work in the dark to talk to people, to figure out what's missing in the market, and then ask myself, do I have the capacity to put it out there? Do I have the capacity to create online? Do I have the capacity to reach out to people? Do I have the capacity, like me, every single day to DM people to start conversations? Will everybody say yes to my conversation? No.
Jasmine Star 00:56:08 Will everybody say yes if we want to talk about an offer? No. Will that stop me? No, because I'm not comparing my efforts to somebody else's results. I am comparing my efforts to my results and my goals because I have been put on this earth to do something. I believe it in my bones. And I believe for all of you who are here, you believe it in your bones to. So if you believe it in your bones, the only thing that will stop you is fear, comparison and doubt. If you look at fear and say, not today. Today I tried comparison. Not today. I focus on me and doubt. It doesn't matter what happened in the past. There is no such thing as failure. Like Peter Spelling's kindergarteners who beat everybody else. You're saying that would happen in the past? What I called a failure was a stepping stone to success. I want to say thank you guys so much. For those of you who completed the survey. We're going to be sending you the replay and other questions.
Jasmine Star 00:57:11 And if you want to go deeper, the team and I are here to support. If you guys are watching this, take a photo. People are like, how do I get myself out there? Take a photo of you watching this class and talk to people about how you're investing in your business. Show people the work that you are doing out online so they look at you and say, how silly. So they look at you and say, oh, she has changed. And then you reply, thank you. I have, thank you guys so so so much. You guys are the best. I hope you guys have a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful day. Welcome back. I know it wasn't a live class, but in the recording I did my best to create a class that will help you build a business and a life that grows. It'd be an honor to create more of these classes. So here is my clear and specific ask. Can you please complete the three question one minute survey? It's going to help me know more about what you would like to hear from me, and how I could serve you best.
Jasmine Star 00:58:08 You can complete it at Jasmine Star. Survey. I look forward to hearing from you soon. And thank you for watching and listening to The Jasmine Star Show.
