Matthew 1:18-25 - Joseph
Dec 16, 2017 Season 3 Episode 19
Dave McCue
The response of Joseph to the Angel's statement that, "He should not be afraid to take Mary as his wife." Especially in the midst of all the turmoil that he must have been going through is amazing. But then, God will lead us in path of righteousness for His name's sake. He really does hear us. He really is at work in this world. He is really God with us. He will even provide guidance along the way. Joseph is heard and guided multiple times. How is God guiding you?

So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, “I am holy; you be holy. [1 Peter 1:13-16]
