Show Notes Chapter Markers

Scott Hunter is currently starring as Max in the West End production of The Play That Goes Wrong!

Following The Cornley Drama Society as they attempt to put on a 1920s murder mystery (with little success), The Play That Goes Wrong premiered on the London Fringe in 2012 and has been taking the West End by storm since opening at the Duchess Theatre in 2014.

This marks Scott's second Mischief production, as they previously played Mel in Magic Goes Wrong at the Apollo Theatre.

Scott was named Best Newcomer in the Manchester Theatre Awards for their role as Stu in Yank The Musical, a role they played to huge acclaim at the Hope Mill Theatre and Charing Cross Theatre, before reprising their performance for the show's 10th Anniversary Concert in New York at 54 Below.

Scott's other credits include playing Blaine Tuttle in Cruel Intentions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the recording of Something's Afoot The Musical.

In this episode, Scott discusses finding their funny for The Play That Goes Wrong, their whirlwind journey with Yank as well as working in theatre as a nonbinary performer.

The Play That Goes Wrong is booking at the Duchess Theatre until Sunday 2nd April 2023. Visit www.theplaythatgoeswrong.com for info and tickets.
