Today’s guest is Cameron Sharp who is currently playing Barry Mann in the 2020 UK tour of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

Cameron made his West End debut back in 2014 as alternate Drew & swing in Rock Of Ages at the Garrick Theatre. He later went on to play Franz in the musical's first UK tour.

Cameron's credits also include: Rodger in Rent (Brimingham), Stephen in Ushers (Edinburgh/Arts Theatre), cover Nicky/Trekkie in Avenue Q (UK Tour), Jesus Christ Superstar (Open Air Theatre), Theo in School of Rock (original West End cast) and Tony in West Side Story (International).

In this episode, Cameron talks through his career, discussing his highs and lows and some of the different things he’s learnt along the way, from leaving drama school early for his West End debut to learning how to swing and his experience of being part of an original West End cast.

Beautiful opens at the Churchill Theatre Bromley on 11th January and tours the UK until 29th August 2020. Visit www.beautifulmusical.co.uk for tour dates.
