It's the final episode of the series and we're off to Australia to chat to musical theatre star Patrice Tipoki!

Patrice understudied Elphaba in the original Australian production of Wicked and went on to take over the role alongside Jemma Rix. She received huge acclaim for her performance as Elphaba, and became well known amongst Wicked fans for her iconic Defying Gravity riff!

Patrice made her West End debut in 2016 as Fantine in Les Misérables, having also played the role in Australia, Dubai and Singapore.

Her other Australian credits include: Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Nala in The Lion King and understudy Killer Queen & Scaramouche in We Will Rock You. Patrice had a musical upbringing and has worked extensively as a vocalist alongside her theatre work.  She released her debut album "A Musical Heart" in 2015.

In this episode, Patrice discusses the Australian theatre scene, how she got away with doing her signature riff in Wicked, her time in London plus lots more!

Patrice's album "A Musical Heart" is available via streaming platforms and iTunes. You can follow her on Instagram: @patricetipokiarkins
