00:13:08.591 --> 00:13:13.419 That it wasn't about their heart, it was about following the letter. 00:13:15.100 --> 00:13:17.590 Those are considered the righteous people. 00:13:17.850 --> 00:13:18.070 All right? 00:13:18.071 --> 00:13:31.090 The people who are meeting the expectations of the law, the next category or the playas or the good, these are people who are meeting the expectations of the law, but go above and beyond that with their heart. 00:13:31.091 --> 00:13:33.669 They show compassion, especially for the poor. 00:13:34.779 --> 00:13:41.350 So these would be the people who they're obeying their obligation to the law and then they help out the poor. 00:13:41.350 --> 00:13:45.970 For example, back then it was customary to pay. 00:13:45.971 --> 00:13:49.179 You're expected to pay a temple tax if you're poor. 00:13:49.181 --> 00:13:50.620 You obviously couldn't afford that. 00:13:50.679 --> 00:13:55.360 So there were some generous people who had paid the temple tax on their behalf. 00:13:55.539 --> 00:14:00.129 That would be considered a good person or a righteous, or excuse me, a pious person. 00:14:00.279 --> 00:14:04.149 And then the third category of course, is the ungodly or the sinner. 00:14:04.210 --> 00:14:08.500 One who does not belong to God, basically any non-Jewish person in the world. 00:14:09.490 --> 00:14:09.820 Why?
