Join Lori and Jane as they list out a bunch of new shows they love. And Jane apologizes for making so much noise with her microphone in this episode - it kept coming disengaged from its clamp and it was driving her crazy.
Notes/Corrections:
Early in the episode Jane referenced Merle Oberon who was NOT on Little House on the Prairie, but was in fact a British actress in the 1930s and 1940s. She was thinking of actor and former football star Merlin Olsen, who was on LHotP.

Hey, y'all! After several requests over the years, Lori and Jane are back with five weeks' worth of new episodes. Join us through this holiday season as we host five episodes that have NOTHING to do with the holidays.
Up first: what have we been doing all this time? The answer: forgetting our format and not giving complete lists of five things each. Don't worry we'll be better next time!
It is with great sadness that Lori & Jane announce that they are bringing the show to an end. It has been an amazing 16 months creating this podcast and we had a blast doing it. Alas, after some discussion about the future of the show, we decided this was the best time to bring things to an end.
We thank everyone so much for listening and supporting our show and wish you only good things in the future!
Happy holidays, everyone! Lori and Jane recorded this episode in advance of Christmas, and hope you have a very merry holiday! We're answering random questions but this time they are all about Christmas.
We'll be back on December 25! In the meantime, enjoy this repeat from Dec 2019!
Lori and Jane are joined by special guest, Panda from Deck the Hallmark Podcast, to talk about their favorite Christmas movies. A minor argument ensues regarding "Love, Actually."

We're taking the week off to celebrate Thanksgiving, but that doesn't mean you can't still listen to this repeat episode the gals recorded last Thanksgiving about their favorite Thanksgiving foods. We hope you had a great holiday, and we'll see you next week!
Everyone has at least one movie that they can't stand, but yet everyone else adores. This week, Jane's sister Jen joins the show to discuss movies we hate that everyone else loves. We guarantee to offend most listeners with our #1 choice.
Lori sits out this episode (since she's a Luddite), but Jane is joined by the lovely Mary Carver from The Couch with Mary Carver.
In this episode, Jane and Mary talk about their most-used phone apps that they believe everyone should be using if they aren't already!
Mary's recommendations:

Jane and Lori wax nostalgic about their favorite children's TV shows when they were kids. Did you also get up for the children's version of "MUST SEE TV" on Saturday mornings?
And the current day cartoon that Jane could not remember is called "Gravity Falls."
This week Lori & Jane spend some time discussing some animals that aren't typically thought of as possible pets that they would LOVE to have as pets. Lori spends most of the episode focused on her first choice, really. She's OBSESSED.
Note: Jane clearly doesn't know what she did with the sound setup. She changed the settings and it's STILL bad again this week. She promises she'll fix it for next week...we'll see. Please forgive us again for the sound. She thought she fixed it, but she clearly didn't. She sounds like a mouthbreather on this episode, which I guess is her punishment for being such a bad sound editor all of a sudden.
ANYWAY, this week Lori is taking a break so Jane is joined by her daughter Olivia to discuss the worst movies they've ever seen. Olivia has a controversial choice but can't back it up, but Jane loves her nonetheless and let her keep her pick. Tune in to find out what it was!
NOTE: We know the audio on this episode is atrocious. Jane thought she was getting fancy with a few changes she made to our recording settings and only succeeded in making us sound like rookies again. Don't worry - she fixed the settings after we recorded this episode. We promise the next one will be better.
This week Lori & Jane delve into a discussion of their favorite TV networks as well as some of the shows they love on those networks.
Trailer for last year's A Christmas Movie Christmas from UPTv.
Here's the clip of the Bobby Flay/Morimoto Iron Chef cutting board argument.
NOTE: We know the audio on this episode is atrocious. Jane thought she was getting fancy with a few changes she made to our recording settings and only succeeded in making us sound like rookies again.
Lori and Jane have tried and failed at many hobbies over the years. This week they talk about the ones they flat out abandoned.
A complete list of potential hobbies YOU can try and abandon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hobbies
Video instruction for newspaper nail art.
Wanna try geocaching? Go for it.
Everybody's got them - those things that drive you crazy until you feel like you are going to lose it. This week Lori & Jane dig into a few of their top pet peeves (with some repeats from our "Sounds We Hate" episode).
It's hard to believe that a year and two days ago we published our promo episode, followed by our first three episodes a few days later. And we're still here! THANK YOU to all our listeners who have stuck with our little podcast over the past 52 weeks. Cheers!
This week Lori & Jane compare their favorite episodes of the US version of "The Office." So many good ones to choose from - how will they ever narrow down the list to just five?
Note: We know that Mose is Dwight's cousin, not his brother. We also know that it was Dwight that was moaning the night Jim & Pam spent the night at the Schrute B&B, not Mose. It was when Dwight was mourning the loss of his relationship with Angela. And lastly, we know that Robert California was harassing Andy Bernard to hire his wife, not Michael. Lori sometimes mixes up the characters in her mind.
